I would like to thank Bob for being so patient in teaching me skills that i need for my driving. Its been a long journey for me to pass this driving test and he did an amazing job in giving me tips and advice on how to park, lane change ..everything! He will take his time teaching you the skill until you finally get it. I'm so happy I gave myself a chance and enrolled at Midway Driving. And of course to my Instructor BOB K. for teaching me and helping me pass my test ! Never give up until you pass the test. Just live and learn. Thanks Bob! I am glad you encouraged me and never lost patience! So kind and nice guy!

I spent $700 on lessons and my instructor was awful. He told me I was more than ready to take the test, and after I failed for my second time, he was extremely condescending and made me feel even worse. He only taught me how to parallel park and do 90 degree back-ins using his car, so this skill was completely useless for any other vehicle.

I would highly recommend this driving school. I just passed my road test almost a week ago and that's my first time doing the roadtest. Patrick is so great as an instructor he helped me a lot the do's and don'ts of driving. I'm glad I made the best decisiom. It's worth the money.

I can't say enough good things about Midway driving school. My son has severe anxiety and had failed his driver's test 5 times. We were confused and got no answers from the useless state examiners. We called Midway, the owner was very kind and patient. I probably called him a total of 5 times with many questions. He always answered them honestly. My son's instructor was Peter, and he also was very kind and patient. My son passed his drivers test on the 1st time after going through Midway. It has been a game changer for us and we are absolutely thrilled. Yes, it is very expensive, but in my opinion you can't put a price on a driver's license. It worked for us, give them a try. Good luck! I hope you pass your test too!

I just passed my road test today and it's all thanks to Midway Driving School. The employees were wonderful and were willing to answer all of my questions from concerns about expenses to road test dates. My instructor, Peter, is very calm, informative, and hilarious. He helped me alot with relaxing my nerves, as well as, giving me tips on my exam. There are several different packages that you can pick from, however, I recommend you to choose the 7 1/2 hour pack. It may seem expensive, but it's worth it! If you are a very nervous driver, I highly recommend you to come here! Good luck!

I had a great experience with Midway, and particularly with my instructor, Patrick Ryan. He was very clear and relaxed throughout all of our sessions, and despite me having very little driving experience, he boosted my confidence with very specific advice, instruction, and guidance. I passed my driver's test first try, something I definitely would not have felt comfortable or skilled enough to do without Patrick's excellent teaching. He's a wonderful instructor and a very easy going guy who took all of the stress out of the experience for me. Highly recommend!

I had a very positive experience. Kudos to my instructor Tom. He was very calm, through and encouraging. He knew exactly how to work with me. We started with great tricks with parallel and reverse parking and when I took the test, I was not surprised that everything did go very smooth and had my license on the very first road test. Thanks to my instructor Tom.Schedule was very flexible and I was picked up from different locations from my work with out any issue.However, I must mention that there was one female phone operator who was not polite:-(

My driver instructor was Patrick Ryan. He was very patient & an AMAZING teacher. I passed my drivers test with only two lessons! I would highly recommend this school to anyone who needs a little extra help passing their test.

I have take two lessons with this driving school and they were perfectly but boooy has my opinion changed on this business based on the woman who works as a receptionist. I actually moved forward and filed a complaint with the BBB because I was so disturbed that this woman actually has a job in anything customer service related. Someone with her attitude and disposition would be a better fit for working in a funeral home with absolutely no contact with the general public. I don’t even know where to start. She called me late in the evening around 5pm on 3-20 and told me my card had been declined for my payment. I explained to her that I had lost the card and simply forgot to call them and give them a new form of payment; before I could even apologize for the inconvenience she cuts me off and tells me it’s not their job to call ppl and I should have called them first. I was in awe at her disrespect so I just hung up to collect myself. I called back hoping to get someone else and unfortunately I got this same vile woman. So I immediately asked to speak to someone else. She starts YELLING at me and says she’s the only person there and they are closed (so you pick up the phone to tell ppl you’re closed ) I asked her name and she said well you’re going to speak to me tomorrow too Alesha and I said that’s fine then this disgusting woman had the audacity to tell me a paying customer not to call back until I have my card situation figured out. I told her I had a temporary card I could give them and that I had been trying to explain that all alone and she then says good well call back tomorrow and hangs up the phone in my face. When I tell you I have never in my life felt more disrespected and just flat out pissed at the sorry excuse of “customer service” I had received. I immediately logged onto the BBB website and as I was filing my complaint I read several of what I assume is this same woman “Paula” I cannot even believe that she’s still employees there she deserves to be fired ASAP. This woman’s attitude and phone demeanor is so discouraging to ppl who are already nervous or feel behind in a basic skill. She again has absolutely NO BUSINESS working with the general public and if this is who your business feels is okay and trained to be a receptionist and give your PAYING CUSTOMERS PROPER RECEPTION then she’s a pretty sad case / excuse. People are paying for services and to be treated with just human decency and Paula is not it.

The people here are great and my teacher Patrick was the best! I am a new driver and he had the best knowledge, advice, and patience to give me. I can confidently say that thanks to my lessons I am a very cautious new driver. I would highly recommend if you feel nervous about taking the test or learning how to drive in general :)

I am going to get more lessons only because I need more practice before I actually get out there and would be requesting my same instructor peter . I felt so happy and was nervous before I started but once I got worm up and felt safe with Peter I was no longer nervous behind the wheel and I did great , loved it

Before taking Behind the Wheel with Midway, I was taking Behind the Wheel with A+ Driving School- where I constantly had different teachers, and it took forever before I was even able to get in for a road test. Some of the teachers were so bad and unprofessional at A+ that they were texting while I was driving:( At Midway, however, I was given the same teacher for each session and was able to take a road test fairly fast. As an adult learner, I felt like I was treated with respect and never looked down at. If I could go back in time, I would have taken behind the wheel with Midway right from the beginning. I loved my teacher, and I loved the staff who answered the phones! I would most definately recommend Midway to anyone who feels nervous about learning how to drive.

My instructor was really rude and impatient, this was my first time taking lesson from there, and he almost expected perfection from me. He started yell and scream at me because I didn’t signal, that was my first time learning how to do parallel parking. He was really bad tempered and disrespectful. Most importantly, he was paid to do that, and I was not supposed to treat like that.

Its has been only 2 months in USA and i have got my USA Driving License. All Thanks to Midway driving school and the perfect instructor Rob. Rob is very good at knowing what skills are missing in you while driving and helps you alot to improve those. If you do exactly the way Rob has taught you then 90 degree parking, parallel parking, Uphill and Downhill parking becomes piece of cake. I use to remember it like UL(Uphill Left) DR(Downhill right) if parked on the right side of the road. I will suggest to take atleast one class before going for the road test. Once again Thank You midway and especially Rob for helping me understand the driving rules in a very simple way and with some very smart jokes.

If I can, I woudn't even give one star. Worst driving school for adults. Don't go to this school. I have taken classes here before and didn't pass. Instructors a okay but Everytime you call their office to schedule a class with them, they tell you that you have to start from zero hours and than you have to take this package of 6.5 hours..blah..blah with $$$$. It is insane...just for the sake of money. I am glad I went and tried another company.

At first I signed up for two 2 hour session at Midway driving school and then just decided to have my friends teach me. But that didn’t pan out well as I thought. So I signed up for the 7.5 hour package at the same school a year later. I was assigned the same driving instructor as before. Scheduling the appointments was very easy and the staff at the school was always very kind and helpful. I was very nervous and scared to start my behind the wheel driving. Thanks to my instructor Pat! He made me feel comfortable and gave helpful feedback when needed. After the two 2 hour sessions I was confident that I would pass my test. I had the last two hour session before the test and I was extremely nervous. But hey! At the end ALL IS WELL. I passed my test on the very first try. Thanks to Midway driving school.

As a nervous driver who often got panic attacks before driving. When my parents told me I was to start taking professional behind the wheel I was so nervous. Tony the manager was always very kind on the phone and the packages and price are totally worth the confidence I gained after working wit my instructor. I was extremely scared to start my behind the wheel with Pat. After two, 2 hour sessions Pat had made me feel more confident and comfortable in the car and i felt very confident that I would be able to pass the test. On the test day i was very jittery and nervous but Pat kept me calm and collected. His knowledge and helpful, calm guidance really was the reason I passed my test and now am able to drive without feeling panicky. Thank you midway driving and Pat! You both rock.

Midway Driving School promotes itself as a school for adults and nervous drivers. The level of customer service we just experienced was beyond rude and offensive, bordering on prejudicial. The way we were treated by the "office manager", who refused to provide her name, showed us that the company is more interested in making money than actually providing a positive experience to customers or potential customers. We were told that our session was cancelled because of a payment issue, and were then told by the "office manager" that they would not be willing to schedule us in the future because of a perceived lack of interest. If we're calling to find out why our instructor did not arrive on time, we're obviously interested. When you're working with nervous drivers and adults that are seeking help in learning to drive, it's important to treat them with respect. Customers should not be brought to tears when seeking your services, and when a customer requests to speak with management, they should not be talked over. I would strongly recommend that you pursue other options when it comes to driving schools.

post vaccine Covid; we did have to wear masks, I don’t remember being asked about vaccinations if that’s a problem for you. I ended up having an amazing time.My instructor was TR and he was calm and professional and his directions are very concise I felt very secure it in his space And I got a complete understanding of what it is to drive.His patience with you is coming if I needed something explained three times over he would do it and every lesson I had he would go through the same motions every time is very repetitive and Was and I was able to grasp it really well.Calling to schedule my appointment the person on the phone is very nice and easy to talk to you I enjoyed that my appointment set up wasn’t online and then I could talk to somebody they were very sweet. I ended up passing my test after my lesions And it was my fourth attempt but I ended up passing first time with this class I do highly recommend these people and I had an amazing time

When i started out learning driving, at first i wanted to save money and just have my friends teach me. Soon i realized that was not realistic and it was a burden on my friend's time. So instead I signed up for a 7.5 hour package with Midway driving school and it was worth every penny! The things the driving school taught me was not only practical skills --- passing the test, but also essential important life-long skills-- driving safe. The instructor taught me all the nice tricks to get me pass the test easily on my very first try (some of my friends who had not taken the test retook the test 3 or 4 times which wasted a lot of time and effort)! I am glad i didn't try to be cheap and have my friends teach me, i am glad i went with the professionals. The other important thing I learned from the driving school is Professional & safe driving. Learning good driving habits from the beginning is important because those good habits will be with you for life. Bad habits, on the other hand, are hard to break and dangerous! Midway driving school instructors are also very friendly with foreigners whose English was their second language.

As an nervous driver, first time driving on road, and first time taking midway class I expect my instructor to take it slow based on the drivers comfortable level and experience. My instructor Patrick or Tom Ryan as he told me, was good at giving clear and slow direction. Although, he did not have the patience when I begin to drive. As I stated to him, the only experience I have is driving on parking lot. I felt like I was expected to already know how to drive on road which that’s the reason why I took the class. For someone to guide me and teach me from the very basic start. I did not know I must know how to drive in order to take the lesson. The whole two hours, I felt like my experience didn’t matter. What matter is getting his job done. The entire time of him being frustrate towards me made me feel horrible. I was expecting to get a good start and experience from this lesson. I paid the lesson so I felt like he should ask me what’s my comfortable level and be able to adjust the lesson to help me. I don’t recommend midway driving for nervous adults or first time driver.

I had the perfect instructor named Tom. I haven't been behind the wheel that many times and it was years ago since I was. I was very nervous but Tom was calm and patient. He gave helpful feedback when needed. I don't know if you can request a certain instructor but I would recommend Tom. He will teach you everything you need to pass the test.

Called to learn more about what their services entailed (ie: what is included in a 2 hour lesson, etc). The lady that answered was super rude and unhelpful. She did not take the time to explain what the services were and what I, as a customer, can expect. She gave me the tone that she was just wasting her time. I'm currently doing research on adult driving lessons for my brother, who is a little nervous behind the wheel. If she's already this rude to me over the phone, there's no way I will send my brother her way. If anyone else knows another provided, please let me know.

10 hours of practice with Midway and 3 separate road tests and I couldn't pass. I went to Ace (after a 3 month practice hiatus mind you) and with only 1 hour practice with them right before my road test I passed. My Ace instructor taught me a better/easier way to park. You can also rent their car for the test for only $50, and are not required to practice for 2 hours with them like Midway makes you do. Ask for JJ!

The instructor instruct very bad, superficial and perfunctory. A 2 hr / lesson but in fact, the time to go to practice and go back has taken an hour. A course value is $ 515 for 7 hours of work ( 3 lessons total and 1 hr instructor drive candidate to the exam station) which really only had about 4 hours to do with the Road Test, and finally candidate is not passed. So what is the Midway Driving school's responsibility to the candidate? And have you ever wondered about such a poor training result in order to change teaching methods and practice how to get good results during the test

Really good place. The schedule was flexible. My instructor was Rob and he is a very nice guy. I passed the driving test first try after 4 hours of lesson. This is a good place with a reasonable price for many packages. I like it and would recommend it for other people.
