The Instructors are friendly knowledgeable about courses our taking. Also they make sure you are in the right class or course that you sogned up for. Jamie and Steve are very good and personable even though there teaching styles are different. As far as course contents etc are good, facility is good could use a better parking lot and easier set up for parking. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to renew there courses H2S, Fall Arrest, Confined Space like I did.

These guys are great! I got in real late night before and showed up but I was so tired that I just couldnt do the course that day. They never charged me and were so accomodating, most would have charged me but they just put me in for the next day! Girl at front desk was so good about it all that it just made my day!! Go here!

There aren't too many options in red deer to get OSSA courses done at. Especially the OSSA BSO (basic safety orientation) which safety now is the only place in red deer doing it. I recommend going here to get courses done, as the teachers are excellent at their jobs insuring that you understand the course material and have the information needed to pass the exam.

I participated in SAFETY NOW's First Aid Recertification course Sept 5/17 Wanted to relay my kudos to your beautiful facility, front staff and instructor, Jamie Fuentes I was greeted not only at front reception upon check in but in the parking lot as well….that was a nice touch; facilitating students parking and entry. Jamie did such a great job (I really find it amazing that he hasn’t been an instructor for a long period of time…..as it would seem) He was VERY knowledgeable and taught an enjoyable class filled with laughter, great stories as well as a ton of information that was concise and thorough. I would not hesitate in the least to refer SAFETY NOW's company and their services! PHENOMENAL!!

Well first off, my certificate was set to expire this month and they got me in just in time so I could take the recertification course instead of the whole 2 day course again. They were very clear about what I needed to bring with me. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly fellow who told me where to park. The course itself was a lot to learn but the instructor (Jaime) went through the material as fast as he could, making sure none of us missed information. He was hilarious and captivating, making what would normally be a dreadfully boring day actually enjoyable. I would highly recommend coming here for your safety courses and I will be returning in 3 years.

I Took the UTV course with Instructor Jann Dyck. I believe Jann is also an owner of Safety now. I've been taking safety courses and certifications for almost 20 years. For the most part they have been pleasant learning experiences. Never have I had such a bad experience that I felt the need to leave a less than positive review. I found Jann to be unprofessional, disprespectful and unpleasant. As a respectful repeat client, I found myself at a loss with the attitude of the instructor that day. Looking back at it now, I don't know what stopped me from walking out that day. One must keep in mind that there is alot of good professional competition out there to earn ones business. Even though Safety now has lost mine, I have found in the past the remainder of the staff to be great, as well as very professional and knowledgable. Repsonse to owners reply: I sent a detailed message via email to the office stating how things unfolded that day. I don't want a reimbursement for the course. I got the certificate after all. My time and experience is more valuable than a refund. Your right I should have communicated better with you about my negative experience. At the time I was so frustrated, (not offended by anything in particular) I just wanted to get it over with and not have any added stress or unnecessary confrontation. The fact that you don't recall anything from that day in regards to my frustrations, concerns me and makes me wonder perhaps it wasn't just a one off bad day.

I book all our company's workplace training at Safety Now and am always happy with the value, the instruction, and the course presentation. The classes have always been a reasonable size, the instructors are always prepared, and the courses are engaging and well presented.

Took a first aid course through this company and now to get a piece a paper stating BC with it they want 40 dollars. Recommend that you go through another training place that offers BC first aid because Alberta does recognize BC first Aid but not the other way around. Safety Now will charge you an extra 40 dollars for this added certificate but does not require any special learning or classroom time it's there way at a money grab.

The worst First Aid course I have ever taken. The teacher was knowledgeable but we did little to no hands on practice. She explained many different scenarios but there was no practice on those types of scenarios. Staff was friendly but the instructor was not very good, watched more videos of fatalities than putting the skills we "learned" to use.

I've taken first aid and H2S now 11 damn times now. Of course I never look forward to these days and can't wait to get them done. First Aid was taught by Jaime and I must say he was the best instructor I've had in 20 years. Personable, funny and a mighty fine looking man if I say so myself haha. I strongly recommend Safety Now for long term employees that are tired of the usual manual reading instructors at other places. Great job Jaime and thanks a lot for making 2 days of personal hell into an enjoyable time. I'll recommended to others for sure!!

Needed confined space rescue course for new job. Asked if course they taught was comptable. Was told over phone it was. Payed for and took course. When I realised at end of day there was no rescue component. I was told they never said that and why didn'the I say some thing at beginning of course i have never taken.

I have taken my first aid now 6 times. I usually don't enjoy sitting in the classroom all day. I want to say Page Volkart was a great hands on teacher. I enjoyed the entire two day course that she did for my first aid and CPR. I've done multiple safety courses through the 8 years I've spent in the oilfield and it's not often that you learn new things and ideas everytime.

Sorry cant remember spanish dudes name anyways hes an old tower rat gas plant worker vessels if people are confused but he was great did my first aid course with him 2 day course and u can actually stay awake in his couse he makes it so its not so terrible boring considering ive taken it 6 times now gets old after a while but it was a good review and great teacher hopefully u can get same teacher if they were all like him these courses wouldn't be so lame to go too! Who says mexicans are bad just jokin anyways thanks saftey now i have enjoyed my courses thanks to a awesome teacher makes a big huge difference when its enjoyable when in class clean eviroment the only thing id change is location of barroom upstairs too close to rooms when people go number 2 was gagin from somones nasty they did in there seeped into class room wasnt pleasant ewww
