Loved playing a round here. Even though the season was over the course opened for a very low price on a sunny but windy day. Fantastic condition-can’t wait to play again during the season. Some holes were pretty challenging. A great walkable course.

Fantastic 9 hole course. An absolute steal for $34 for 18 holes! Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Lots of elevation changes and scenic views. A very good workout if you’re walking! Highly recommend playing this course while you’re visiting PEI!

Excellent 9 hole easily accessible by good condition roads. Staff knowledgable and prompt and friendly. The course is in excellent shape especially the greens. Family friendly as long as parents monitor kidz play and keep the pace going. It was crowded today and yet only took 1 1/2 hrs for the 9. If you want to ply 18 YOU must request it before t time. Staff have not asked me if I wanted 9 or 18 so 1st time I played here I was denied back 9. Enjoyable to play

This is a wonderful, short 9 hole course that has been well-designed to suit golfers with a wide variety of skill levels. The staff are very friendly and the course was in fantastic condition when we played in late July. Scenery around the course is spectacular.

We recently moved back to Kensington from Summerside and were looking forward to enjoying golf at Red Sands. We were limited as far as timing during the summer months as my husband has battled melanoma so we wanted to golf after 4pm. When we initially called we were quoted a price. We went to the golf course just a few days later and were informed that the price had increased. We elected to pay that price anyway as we were well aware that businesses were struggling during Covid 19. At that time we were informed that there would also be a 20% discount on cart rentals and that there would not be women or men’s golfing on Tuesdays and Thursday which was to our advantage really, opening up further times for us to golf. All of this failed to be true and when we phoned to book a time on one occasion which happened to be on a Tuesday or Thursday, we were informed nothing was available until 7pm however there was a time free at 3:50pm but since it was before 4pm we would have to pay an additional $20.00! We are amateurs and wished to golf by ourselves so that we didn’t feel pressured golfing with more experienced golfers. We however were not given this choice and were told we had to golf with others. We feel we paid quite a high price for a membership and were given very limited access to the course. After paying for a membership we feel we were treated unfairly and inappropriately by the Red Sands staff. You have a choice if you do not have a membership to play at a time that works for you but once they have you booked as a member you loose your freedom to play as you would like. Therefore do be aware.
