This center never seems to actually do anything. They are extremely rude, they lose paperwork, and they are very abusive verbally towards people. If you have ANY issue that involves Service Ontario, go downtown to St Paul and get service from the actual Ontario Government

First off, You gotta wait, no biggie, that's life. BUT.... Horrible. Lazy staff and zero empathy. Trying to renew sticker for over a week, go with all my paperwork, and their "system" doesn't recognize my insurance, although the NRP can!

Took an hour and fifteen minutes here to renew my daughter's health card. Four kids, seven months pregnant and when I was finally in the front of the line, they let not one, not two, but three people behind me or who had just walked in go before me. Incredibly slow (and inconsiderate) service. Won't return to this office again.

I have to say, this was the BEST Service Ontario I have ever been to. Joe and Davine were fabulous. They were so welcoming, positive and helpful. The answered all questions as well as provided extra information without hesitation. Highly recommend going here!

55 minute wait at 3pm. Quick for address change. Simple. Polite people in line. Down town MTO office is much more comfortable and expedient. If you can find parking I'd recommend it over this site as there are chairs.

Always had trouble at other Service Ontario's with my heavy vehicle. Port Colborne Service Ontario is quick, hassle free and the lady I delt with ( I apologize for not having the name) is beyond friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend because the customer service is the best in the Region by far.

I've only had to go in a couple of times. Each time I find the staff pleasant. I also love that they having a waiting area for seniors and people with disabilities. Neither applies in my case but I definitely appreciate that they've made a clear effort to be accessible. I'm heading over again shortly so hopefully my experience will be another positive one.

My son and I were here today to renew our health cards and get my drivers license renewal and sticker . I have to say that Service Ontario has an exemplary employee in Rose, often in these times of a lot of waiting and patience packing , of the pandemic, to be met with such a professional but compassionate person is rare today . Rose..... my son and I thank you for your patience that you showed us . Just that alone is exemplary !!! I sincerely hope your management knows just how key you are to that office. You changed the morning we were having just by this experience . Wish there were more people like you . Thank you again . Five stars from this family !!! Stay safe

DO IT ONLINE IF YOU CAN!! I have been for a few years. I will only go back in that disastrous environment only if it's absolutely necessary. It's government. I see it time and time again. No one cares about the fact that we have to wait in line forever and that we have other things to do.They take their sweet time. They are afraid to go a bit faster. You go faster+we get done quicker=everybody's happy. EFFICIENCY. Try it sometimes.

The man that owns this place is a snotty unprofessional. He rudely interrupts conversations between customers and another rep and he even looks unprofessional. I now drive 20km to Welland where I don't have to deal with this type of second rate service. Service Ontario should be ashamed to have this franchise.

It was very busy when I arrived and the line of customers was almost to the door. Thought I would have to wait for a long time but all the stations were open and it actually went quite fast! Was probably there for about 20 minutes. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Got my things taken care of and was on my way. Pleasant experience. (A little dirty but what can ya do.)

Visited here last week to change my last name after getting married. The representative was so helpful and efficient, we were able to renew my sticker and health card at the same time. She made the whole experience feel very stress free, and saved me having to go back to wait in the summer heat to renew my sticker. Thank you!!

I went there make my health card renewal first time they ask me addressed proof and last dates of job I amPR Card holders and when i second time bring all documents they told your travels history not mach I don’t now send your all travel information.very poor service and information they provide to people.

Of course there was a line up outside as they were complying with Covid-19 rules. There was a hitch-up outside as a “gentleman” wouldn’t accept the explanation he was given that he had to go to another location to get what he needed. I had a multitude of things to get done and I was served with a smile and patience.

I went to the Service Ontario office on 350 Scott St Unit 110, St. Catharines, ON L2N 6T4 2 separate occasions. On both occasions, the line for service was nearly out the door and the estimated wait time was around an hour. Ontario taxpayers are paying for service - not to wait for an hour. Staffing should be adjusted to the volume of work!!

Worst service Ontario I've ever been to. Most staff are rude and short with you, not all but most. Tge lineups are terrible, I'm pretty sure I've never once been there while they had short lineups. I had to renew my license today and because i have been going through chemo i have lost my hair. I asked if there was any way i could use the picture on my license as i have no hair right now. It's the only thing I'm vain about. The clerk made a phone call and because i was also downgrading my license they were able to do it for me. Wonderful compassion and empathy and an overall great experience.

Very rude staff, gentleman and I in line were told to keep quiet over a harmless conversation. When I got to my turn in to the desk (which took almost an hr) I was not helped appropriately. I was told 3 weeks prior when I transfered ownership that I needed a safety to get temp plates. My cellphone died and have not received pink slip for insurance cause it hasn't come in the mail yet. I have correct info for insurance as my policy # doesn't change. I was denied paying for my plates even for just a temporary sticker. Her reason is that vehicle is unfit for the road even though I have safety to prove that it is. Absolutely unacceptable service, with poor attitude to boot.

Aside from the 45 minute wait in line and then answering 3 questions at doorway my visit for a renewal sticker was 10 minutes in length. As grocery stores allowed "seniors" that one hour of shopping to avoid crowds & lineups it would be appreciated if ALL businesses & retailers would offer that one hour courtesy to seniors. It would make a big difference.

If only I could give this place negative 5 stars.... This place should be called Dis-Service Ontario. You would think that you would get a bit of help from the people that work there, but they seem quite content to talk down to you in a condescending tone. Those two behind the desk may actually be the rudest and most unprofessional people I've ever met. If you don't want to deal with the public... and smile every once in a while... get another job. Pleasant surprise, top notch service. My drivers license expired this month, where picture need to be taken as well. After checking reviews, and knowing how last few months made us all stressful, I was little bit apprehensive. Experience was total opposite :) Arrived Friday at 8:30, waiting line outside was manageable, and moving at decent pace. Officials were so nice to talk to, and extra helpful. I was out before 9 with all done, picture taken, health/drivers/vehicle sticker renewed.

First come, first serve; no take a number. I went first thing on weekday morning and line up was literally out the door. Was there 1hour for vehicle plate sticker renewal. Only a few seats available for people who cannot stand for any length of time.

The wait times are absurd. I waited in the same spot in line for over 20 minutes, god knows how long I would have been in that awful dingy, cramped little room if I didn’t give up and leave. Another time I went, The woman I dealt with was very rude and completely unhelpful. She ended up providing me the wrong information even after calling head office.

I was the eleventh person in line out of sixteen waiting at 0830 hours. Due to covid restrictions only nine were taken in the first time. On my turn the lady behind the counter was very polite and provided excellent Customer service. She was very efficient and my two plate stickers were processed in less than eight minutes. I walked out of the door at 0855 hours. Great job and kudos to the staff at this location.

I unwittingly let my drivers license lapse and I was due for a new Health card. I called ahead, asked what I would need to bring then went there. Sure, there was a line-up but hey, these folks are entrusted with delicate and personal information about all of us so wouldn't you rather they didn't hurry and possibly make an error? When my turn came the gentleman was professional and prompt. I have no complaint what-so-ever. Perhaps if you've had a poor experience it could very well be the people ahead of you weren't properly prepared. Maybe it was your attitude that put the Employee off, whatever the reason quit complaining. At least we can acquire a drivers license, at least we have access to Health care. In some oversea's countries the necessary paperwork can take weeks or months - if possible at all. We're Canadians, so relax.

It was the most terrible experience for me. Staff most are rude, lazy and incompetent big time. The first day, it took me two hours to speak to an agent. However, I was sent to vision exam, which I passed, then sent back to the optician for a small minor thing. The agent went to see her supervisor three times. Finally, after eight hours, I was served.
