Hamid was the best instructor I’ve ever had. I was very afraid to drive and he taught me in such a way that I passed the G2 test with flying colors. He made me feel comfortable, gain confidence and taught me everything I needed to be able to drive with peace of mind. His techniques are excellent and if you learn them they will serve you for life! I took some lessons for G2 prep and the test was super easy -- I needed a brush up before the test and after a few times in the car I felt super prepared going in! Awesome service for a really reasonable price. If you have Khoshal you will not be disappointed, you'll be more than ready to do your test.

My teacher (Joseph) was well educated with tons of experience and keeps a nice athmosphere and I appreciated the nice cold water easily accessible, I had low expectations because of the low price but they had a nice class that was easy to follow and they gave us all the time we needed to pay in small portions which I appreciated as well, no complaints. Edit: My driving instructor Amir was more than amazing, he helped me get my in car lessons done as quick as possible and cleared his schedule on some days just to help me get done quickly, I passed my G2 test on the first try and I owe it all to him. Great guy very nice and calm and will do his best to accomodate you however you may need.

Very good course. My in-class instructor, Jawad Ali spoke very clearly. I usually find it hard to concentrate in classes that are longer than 1 hour, but this was not a problem with Safe2Pass because the instructor interacted with the students and was entertaining.

Hayder was such an amazing instructor! One lesson in with him and he had me out driving in the market downtown with all the confidence in the world. He knew exactly what I needed to hear and how to coach me. In less than 2 months he had me ready to pass my g2 test. I had been in a car accident that I almost died in to a drunk driver at 19 years old and had crazy anxiety about driving. After being scammed by another private instructor who played on my insecurities for 20+ hours and only had me driving around tiny streets with no other cars around and gave me zero confidence in my driving all just to bilk me out of money for more lessons than anyone should ever need... So thankful I found Hayder who properly guided me from that previous horrible experience to now being a licensed driver! Thanks again, so grateful for you!

If you’re a nervous driver or are scared of driving in general, don’t think twice about calling safe2drive. They were so prompt with answering. My instructor was Moe and he was amazing! I’ve been terrified of driving for years, I told Moe about my concerns and how I wanted to be more comfortable on the road and he did just that. After 2 days of driving with him, I was comfortable and confident. I definitely recommend Moe as an instructor, you will not regret it

I was about to take the G2 test and thought I should get one or two lessons as a pre-test review and consolidation. However, the instructor (Rola) did not seem to take that into consideration despite that I informed her. She taught me as someone who was absolutely new to driving and she was ready to give me a 10-hour lesson. The moment I got on the car, she started telling me this was wrong and that was not right as well as yelling at me most of the time. She was also giving a lot of nonsense examples which further confused me (for example, on why you should always check the mirrors and blindspots, she started with "it's like you are a student and you want to finish the assignment the night before it is due while watching a movie that you don't want to miss out", and somehow ended the example with "when you watch the movie if you go to the bathroom, then you can guess what you missed; but if you take a shower, then you have to ask someone to tell you what happened"... I was like "???" the whole time...) So I felt like that was totally unnecessary and distracting. Overall, I find it hard to drive confidently and be attentive when someone is talking and yelling at me all the time. By the time the two hours lesson was over, I felt like I had learned nothing but that I was a terrible driver and surely not ready for the driving test unless I take at least another 10 hours lesson plus another year practicing. Which of course was not what I expected and wanted. It was a frustrating experience for me. She might be a good instructor for new drivers with zero knowledge of driving, but not a good fit for those who just want to improve and pass the test.

Mazen was my in-class teacher at the Bank St. location. He was very patient with us and very easygoing. He made the classes fun and even though it got boring at times he would pull you back in with a witty joke. Overall, he's a really great teacher and you can tell he wants everyone to succeed.

Jawad is an enjoyable instructor, and the four weeks went by faster than I thought they would! I called this driving school based on a recommendation from a friend, and they assigned me to a rude instructor named Kaz. I do not recommend him at all. After an incident with him, I called the school again and asked them to assign me to Mr. Hamid, whom I had read very good reviews about on here. Mr. Hamid was very calm and made me feel very comfortable while I was driving. He explained everything in lots of detail, often using a whiteboard he brought with him, which made things much easier to understand, because I’m a very visual person. He did not raise his voice a single time, and was very very respectful. After a few sessions with him, I went for my road test and passed on the first try. I *highly* recommend Mr. Hamid for your lessons.

I recently moved to Canada and I had to pass the G drive test to be able to transfer my foreign drivers licence. I decided to sign up for a couple of private lessons with safe2pass, which I got recommended, to make sure I would pass the test. Jawad, the driving instructor, did a excellent job on teaching me everything that I had to know for the test. Also, since I have been driving for a long time we also made sure I had not picked up any bad habits that could result in failing the test. First of all I just want to say the reason I passed my G2 this morning was because of my experience with Hamid! I decided to contact Hamid two nights before my driving test and he was so accommodating to fit me in. I thought I knew most of the rules and would do a quick refresher and all I can say is thank goodness I contacted him. Hamed helped me learn the proper ways to parallel and reverse park, and really refined these skills. We even drove around what would be my G2 course. There were no surprises when it came time to my test thanks to all the help he gave me. I highly, highly recommend you book him, not just for your G2 but to learn how to be a better driver overall. He was cool, calm and patient and made sure I learned all the required skills. He started with 1 class first to see my current level and then suggested me to take required number of classes. I passed my G2 test on the first try today.My instructor Sabreen deserves credit for this. She is a really experienced driver and her patience level is quite commendable. She nerver got angry if we made a mistake while in driving. She clearly explained the driving lessons and provided me plenty of opportunities to practise parking.Also she gave tips to pass the exam. She is extremely helpful and sincere. She put her100% to ensure that we pass the exam. I took test in Drivetest Smithfall. Sabreen accompanied me to the test Center and she was of a great help. Over all I think this is a very good driving school. First off the teacher is really nice, kind, polite and good at getting messages across. The location is pretty good because it is close enough for people from out of town and it is close to many subdivisions, it is also on a main road so it is very easy to find. I liked that the homework was on paper and not on the internet because I could do the homework any where so i would not have to depend on the internet. The price for the class was very reasonable. I liked the fact that this school had classes held on Saturday because that was very beneficial to me. I enjoyed the time I had coming here and learned a lot that will help me with my driving experience.

UPDATE: I passed my G2 today and wanted to write a quick note about Mazen. After not developing a good relationship with a different instructor during on the road lessons, I switched to Mazen and I am so glad I did!! I am definitely an anxious person/control freak, but he was so patient with me and taught me how to focus my energy better on the road ! He is so punctual and focuses all of his attention on you during the lessons. He is great at teaching you all the tricks you need to pass the g2 and how to be a better driver in general, and he makes the process very simple and seamless. I highly recommend safe2pass as your driving school of choice + Mazen as the top instructor!! Just finished the in-class portion, and Mazen is such a great instructor. He is really nice and personable and breaks down content in easy to understand steps. Definitely recommend him as an instructor! The school also has a wider selection of classroom times/days to fit a wider variety of schedules

Excellent course, I learned a lot as I haven't had any driving experience before. I was very hesitant at the beginning about my ability to drive, but i can see the improvement from the second and third in car lessons. As for the school environment and teacher, time passes very fast as the instructor is very social and fun. You don't feel like you are being enforced to do your lesson or homework. Safe2pass is a really good school. The course content is very helpful. The presented information is written and visual (graphics and videos). You not only learn about general driving, but you learn how to drive efficiently and about defensive driving. The classroom is very comfortable and the teacher is very good. He often uses the whiteboard to illustrate points which is very helpful. I had in-car driving lessons with Mr. Jawad. He is obviously a very experienced driver and teacher. Definitely recommend!

Safe2Pass is a brilliant driving school. Our instructor, Keith teaches the course in an amazing way. He doesn't just sit in front of the screen and reads the board, we had discussions in class where everyone was involved. This allowed a much friendlier environment and increased our learning ten fold as we try to understand the different situations that were presented. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. And make sure you get Keith. He is awesome.

Class training was good. Their prices are reasonable and I would not mind taking more lessons from them. I would prefer a different instructor for in-car lessons. Did not have a good experience with in-car lessons. They felt rushed for someone like me who has never driven before. I have one lesson left and my instructor is not responding so we can schedule one. I went through the driving school but have not heard from them either.

I honestly learned a lot over the course of my safe2pass classes. I didn’t think I could drive but after learning the numerous rules of driving I have come to realize that there are certain things one can do to ensure driving safety and I felt much better afterwards. I not only learned the four skills of driving: control, observation, knowledge, and judgement, but also how to use said skills to master the road. There’s so much more than just knowing the signs. Safe2pass has really helped pass on that knowledge in a nice and safe environment. I recommend these courses to everyone wanting to know how to drive as they will certainly succeed through safe2pass. The courses are professional and the instructors are easy to communicate with. My instructor was Jawad and he was very good at teaching! I enjoyed learning from him; his classes were fun!

I haven't experienced the in-car lessons yet, so my review may change, but I had a great time with the in-class course. The instructor, Keith, was forthcoming with useful information not in the curriculum and provided memorable anecdotes to accentuate the lectures on proper road safety and behaviour.

I took 8hrs driving lessons with Abeer and I passed my G2 Road Test on December 2nd/2020. I was working with another school called " City Drivers Training" but because of their schedule they couldn't accommodate me before my exam so I gave a call to Safe2pass and school provided me an excellent service and connected me right away with an instructor Abeer. If today I have my G2 it is thanks to her. Her professionalism and work were amazing. Other school instructors made me drive for hours but Abeer show me my faults and important points that I should know before my exam. She was a very patient instructor who always made sure I understood the rules, test dynamic and my weak sides. She was always punctual and eager to teach me. Other school's instructor always shows up at least 10-15 minutes late and ended the class also early. She also take me every time to my test area. I had an exceptional experience with Amir. When I started taking lessons in June, I had little to no experience driving. I must say, I thought it would take me longer to get hold of it but I passed my G2 (2 two hour classes per week) in September. As a naive driver, you need someone who is calm, patient and creates a comfortable environment. Amir did it all. Everytime I did something right, he would give a thumbs and a proud smile. There are instructors who are very critical of your small errors; heck, I drove into the pole doing the 3 point turn and Amir did not scrutinize me. Amir sent msg remainders the day before, which illustrated his passion, and dedication to not only help you pass the G2 but make you a safe driver. When I met with the salesperson at the car dealership for the car testing (he assisted me with the test driving when I just started with Amir), he was highly impressed with the confidence. He said "in June, you were very timid about drive now you are "owning" the car. I am glad that I chose safe2pass because I learnt a lot about the road. My advice is listen and learn from your mistakes. Also, don't be slow. lol.

At first I was worried about the price of the driving class, as well as the difficulty taking and understanding the curriculum. The instructors; both in driving and theory, are extremely supportive and fantastic at giving lessons. they are also very flexible with your schedule, so you don't have to worry about missing classes. Even though classes are 5.5 hours long which is tiring, they are still very interesting and the teacher makes the class very fun and always care about their students understanding what the teacher is saying! Previously, before I moved to Ottawa, I failed the full G road test twice, and my G2 driving license was about to expire. I had only 1 chance. With only 2 sessions, and I recap practice before my full G test, I successfully passed my full road test. Hamid Sayed, was a very patient and well instructing throughout my training. I had the chance to train for my G road test with Jubouri. I can't stop praising him, and not just because I passed on the first attempt! Jubouri told me had been a teacher back home and it shows. He is kind, patient, personable and very knowledgeable. He didn't just teach me a few tricks to take the test, he gave me confidence and great driving skills that I will use beyond the road test. He wanted to make sure I understood his advice. He cared. These few hours of training helped me more than anything. I was driving in Kanata and witnessed very aggressive driving buy one of your drivers. Heading south on March Rd. your driver was in the lane that enters the 417 West when he raced up to merge left into the lane to stay on March Rd. He cut me off and I had to hit the breaks to avoid a collision. Then the driver went onto the 417 where he cut straight across 4 lanes to get into the car pool lane even though he was the only one in the car. He then proceeded to drive in excess of 130 swerving in and out of traffic and cutting across the double solid white lines on the car pool lane. If this is the quality of drivers employed by this company no one should be using this company to teach teens and new drivers how to drive.

Don't waste your money enrolling in this school. One of their instructors just merged on the main road as I was coming on a green light that I had to changed lane to avoid slamming my brakes and hitting her. Is this what you teach to your students? What a shame. How can I be mistaken when there's a sign of safe2pass on the roof of the car? Someone just don't want to own up to their mistake. Just drive safer next time.

The class was really good,and very good teacher. But when it comes to set up your first 10h in car, the school is very desorganized with a lot of confusion . Assigned instructor can't show up and not even reliable, it's very disappointing situation when you still don't know when will you start your 10h in-Car. Two things not to do: 1: Do not give a feedback until you finish your 10 in car. 2- Do not make the full payment untill you start your 10 h in-care. Note that, making a feedback for the school before the rest of the course (before 1h in car) will fake the review and not helping potential students to make decisions for choosing which Driving School have they to go.

At first I was anxious about driving and taking the class altogether, but the class I took (BDE course) actually helped me a lot. I had Jawad for the theory class, he made sure that everyone was comfortable, gave us turns to read and answer his questions. As someone who likes to learn visually more than listening, Jawad was able to teach visually with good diagrams, showing how to exactly do certain things, ex: Making a turn , and explaining in details. The theory class taught me a lot of good things before I even started driving (tips for insurance, the important skills to know on the road and tips for your car). I had only one chance if I fail I had to go to the G2 test. I took the G test last week and I got it WOHOO!!!!! Kaz was very helpful, I don't think I would have made it without his help. I can't thank him enough for the amazing job that he did with me. there was a huge difference between my first class and my last hour before test. He is the best instructor ever. First, he is very professional, punctual and knows exactly what to do that you can have all the chances on your side. I called safe2pass school and they booked me with an instructor named Mr Abdul. Mr Abdul is a very good instructor who will teach you what you needed to learn to pass the driving test. Mr Abdul is different from most instructors because most will shout at the learner whenever the learner commits a mistake. Mr Abdul is different as he is patient and will tell you what you did wrong without making you feel incompetent. He will also build up your confidence which is what you need during the exam. Some instructors give a lot of information at once without considering the student, If you are a complete beginner like me, a lot of information could become overwhelming. When I booked my g2 test I felt completely unprepared. I hadn’t done drivers ed but from just one lesson I felt like I could confidently go into to the test. I did an individual class that was 2 hours. We had gone over the different possible routes I’d be taken on for my g2 test and the different things that would cost me points during my test. The methods of teaching used help you remember what to do easily and allow you to use them in a way that makes it easy for you. I found safe2pass extremely helpful and would definitely recommend it to others.

SAFE2PASS is one of the best driving schools in Ottawa. I would like to sincerely thank two incredible instructors Hayder and Rolla. It was my first time driving, I was so pathetic with steering and Hayder did everything possible to fix that. I highly recommend Safe2Pass! I am convinced that I was able to successfully pass my G2 exam, and on my first attempt, because of this driving school. My review is based primarily on my in-car lessons with one instructor, Mazen, the only individual who somehow tamed my nerves. In the past, I have had bad experiences driving with mediocre instruction and I always had trouble remembering a few rules, which made me less confident as a driver. Mazen simplified everything into manageable steps; for instance, I can now parallel park in just three simple moves! He would re-teach the same concepts, patiently, and in new ways, if I couldn’t quite understand everything on the first go. We would have pretty fun conversations, (though not too distracting), while driving, in order to help me relax more during my lessons, which also helped me retain more information. Mazen also encouraged me to take the exam when I did as he knew I was ready; he said, if I had not been prepared, he would have told me so. In fact, he actually tried to convince me to do the exam earlier, and not to take anymore lessons as I did not need them; this made it clear, he is not in this only for the money. To sum it all up, I highly recommend Safe2Pass as they seem to select great instructors, like Mazen, who are intuitive to their students’ needs! I will definitely be seeking more lessons to prep for the G road test, next year! :)

Jawad was an amazing instructor and basically taught me how to drive well in 2 weeks after I had not driven in 3 months. He was incredibly thorough and made sure to cover everything I would need to know. Without his help I would not have passed my test. My examiner even said that I drove very well after he passed me. Learning from Safe to drive was the best decision I made since I wanted to learn how to drive (the basics) but no schools were open. I had a few other options but they were offering the best option because I could have an in class experience through the zoom classes. With The other online options I would learn on my own. The teacher is very knowledgeable and the class is very interactive you feel like you are in a class and learning. The teacher makes you feel more confident about learning how to drive by the way the class is taught. The teaching style is really outstanding and it’s impossible to leave the online classes without having learn a lot. Even if it may feel overwhelming at times because it’s a long class you still learn a lot and the review process of the material after the course has ended will be much more easy and easier to learn. I would recommend Safetodrive especially for beginners who might be apprehensive about driving.

Today I easily passed G2 driving test (first attempt) after passing G1 test few years ago and I cannot not leave a review for my great driving instructor. Several years ago I wasted lots of money on Young Drivers School's course. I did not learn much, it took me several attempts to even pass the school's driving test. My husband was trying to help me, but he was getting quite frustrated. I was really desperate and then I found Jawad. Jawad made me book G1 test just few weeks away, scheduled several 2 hour lessons and, just as he predicted, by the scheduled date I was completely prepared! The same happened with G2 test - only 1hour lessons - and I have not even tried to drive on the highway before getting his second set of instructions. Jawad did not only give me all the very easy to understand and to follow practical tips for reverse parking, parallel parking, highway entrance, lane change etc. He also explained to me how the brain works while I'm driving, how and WHY I should move my eyes. He could even explain what way of thinking made me repeating certain mistakes! I followed Jawad's advice and within couple of weeks my driving skills and my confidence level improved tremendously. The only thing I regret is that I did not have a chance to get the full beginner's course at his school - I can only imagine how informative and useful that must be. Being so happy with passing my test with very few mistakes, I actually feel sad that I do not need Jawad's lessons any more. If you consider booking lessons in this driving school with this instrusctor, do not hesitate - you will not regret.

I'd like to update my review (below) according to what has happened recently. I still highlight what I said before regarding the classrooms and the polite instructor. However, when it comes to the practical driving lessons.. It's the exact opposite. You'll be waitlisted for 3 or 4 months (my case) because their schedule is unbelievably busy. They accept new students before even finishing what they already have. They also run it randomly, not as first in first served. So, you might find out that others who joined the school several weeks or months after you, had finished the lessons in one week.!! Not fairly organized, there is absolutely no system at all. The manager Jawad is good and he's trying hard.. But his schedule is very busy too. Not to mention all other instructors.. A big joke! They keep cancelling and delaying because they are committed to their private lessons ' income more than their job with the school, which accumulates more students to the wait list and adds more stress to the manager and his own schedule. One instructor (Khalid) made me wait for him for 90 minutes, when he was supposed to be there in only 7 minutes. He turned off his phone too which made me cancel with him and call the manager. To sum up, if your time is valuable, don't join the BDE course at this school. Only if you have flexible schedule or just need a couple of hours for the road test, while you pay more! After all.. It's all about money! ---------------------------------------------- Below is the old review ---------------------------------------------- Very clean classrooms, punctual, experienced and friendly instructor. They also provide tea, candy and cookies. A combination of lectures, videos and scenarios so you don't feel bored.

My instructor Raqia was amazing. She makes you feel comfortable in the car, she knows what the examiner will be looking for and her technique for parallel parking and reverse parking were really helpful. I practiced 4 hours with her in the Walkley area one week before my G1 exit road test and she is a huge reason why I passed! 10/10 - my instructor SABREEN is amazing!! I thought that getting my drivers license would be intimidating, stressful and anxiety inducing. It was all that when I practiced with friends until I started my lessons with Sabreen!! She made me practice in calm neighbourhoods and we slowly progressed to busier streets. Her calm attitude and confidence in my abilities made me very comfortable. I started out from panic when a car was behind me to driving calmly on busy intersections in no time. Sabreen would give me amazing advice, directions and feedback. After each session she would give me feedback on things I had done well and things we would practice next time. This was always done with kindness and optimism. She never scolded me or lost patience. Even when we had to parallel park 5 times in a row. Sabreen was always on time and responded to me within a few minutes. I strive to be as organized and punctual as she is. When I failed my first exam due to nerves she was sad with me but encouraged me to keep going and not let this make me doubt my skills. When I tried again today and passed she celebrated with me. I truly recommend this school and I was blessed to have an amazing instructor like Sabreen.
