I had a terrible experience here. I began my classroom lessons in February of 2018, and completed them by the end of the month. Each in class lesson, would be cut short by 1 hour each day. (That amounted to a total of almost 4 hours of instructional time that I missed out on.) It was not until the end of April when my instructor finally contacted me about scheduling my lessons. (It is important to note that I called the driving school 4 times before the instructor finally responded. Each time I called the lady who answered the phone took my phone number and said she would have the driving instructor call me. This did not happen.) When the driving instructor contacted me, all I got was a text message, which took her 2 weeks to respond to. After my first driving lesson my driver instructor decided to inform me that she was going on a 11/2 month vacation to Quebec and that she would contact me when she got back in June/July. (She had originally told me that her vacation would only be for a month but she extended it by 2 weeks, which is how I got the 11/2 months.) When my instructor was back we arranged my driving lesson, which she proceeded to arrive 2 hours late. (This made me feel like their was no respect for my time, as she wanted me to pay a cancellation fee for canceling my driving lesson because I had somewhere to be that night and could not wait the 2 hours for her to show up.) There was also this one time when she had texted me that my driving lesson was on Thursday, but she did not put it in her calendar correctly and showed up at my house on the wrong day. Apparently the driving instructor told me that I only had a 3 month window from the start of my in class lessons and finishing my in car lessons and that I should pay to sign up and retake the course. (However, I had to argue with them to make them realize that it was not my fault that the lessons had dragged on but was theirs.) During my lessons my driving instructor would make me stop at the store so that she could go to the washroom, but half the time she would come out with food or drinks. All the while I only had a limited time with them and it was wasted. (Once again making me feel that my time was not valuable to them.) Overall, I would not recommend this driving school, the service is awful and I learned absolutely nothing from them. By the time I finished my lessons it was mid September, and I defiantly regret taking my driving lessons here.

Wrey is a superb teaching instructor who takes ur learning experience to a different level altogether with his teaching skills. Most importantly he makes driving fun and gives so much of confidence on the highway. I used to take classes from another driving school( had not heard about defensive drivers at that time ) but moved to defensive drivers just before my G2 n for highway driving. Eventually I recommended many of my friends n relatives to this school. I would give 6 stars

Wrey is a kind, chilling, and patient instructor who provided me with really informative and therefore helpful refresher sessions in mid-August. I obtained my full licence in South Korea in 2010, but for almost a decade I had never driven alone. I was supposed to rent an SUV and move off to Kitchener without sufficient prior driving experiences; however in the end, I successfully completed the mission after lessons with Wrey. No longer afraid of driving by myself.

Great in car-lessons, excellent instructor and scheduling was simple and convenient. The communication could be improved, it can take long for things to progress without continual requests. It took me over two weeks to begin in-car lessons after completing the online course.

My son had a great experience with Defensive Drivers. I would highly recommend this as a driving school. They were reliable and efficient and did a great job teaching.

Absolutely awful. Douglas, the driving instructor, had very little patience when it came to errors and would frequently admonish me. He even stated that I was a lost cause at one point. He wasn't really well equipped to be teaching 16 years old on how to drive. I wish I had the confidence back then to report him because he was just basically an old bitter, bully. This happened years ago and I hope to god Douglas has either been let go or he's had an attitude adjustment. I would spend my money elsewhere. I remember the classroom experience being a waste of time as well because I couldn't understand the classroom instructor's thick accent.
