I had a crammed lesson with Waqqas Ahmad (1 hour before my G2 test) as my past instructor left me hanging. He woke up at 6am to help me and he gave me great tips and +++ encouragement along the way. I am happy to say I passed and I'm glad I had Waqqas to assist me along the way.

I had taken their package-2 which included 20 hours of in-class and 11 hours of in-car sessions. My in-class instructor was Faheem and he is the best instructor to my knowledge. My in-car instruction was Safadi and he is the worst instructor. He scheduled only one session a month and that too on Saturdays 6am. 2 hour session was always reduced to 1.5 hour or less because he was late or he wanted to leave early. He was unprofessional and used to shout most of the time if I made a driving mistake. He doesn't have the patience to be a instructor. Initially , He informed me that downsview and Victoria are free locations but on the drive test day, he suddenly asked me 35 dollars just before the road test for downsview location. The school doesn't have enough instructors and so they keep him I guess. Calling them didn't help. Anyway, I will give them a extra star for Faheem

Naushad was a very good instructor. His way of teaching is at an excellent and easy to follow pace. I definitely recommend him as an instructor.

Nadeem is a great instructor and helped me clear G level in the first attempt at Metro East drive test centre(I gave G1 to G, based on prior experience). He not only helped me gain confidence on the 2nd class, but also gave relevant tips on safe driving in Canada. He’s pretty straight at instructions and does not sugar coat if you’ve made a mistake, which I think is really important.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this school. The driving instructors are very unprofessional. It is also extremely difficult to schedule lessons with them. I had to schedule 6 a.m. lessons and that was the only time available. During normal lessons, the instructor would be late for 10-15 mins and end 5- 10 mins early. On my exam date, the instructor was late for 30 mins, and had asked me for additional 30 dollars for scheduling an exam at the downsview location which no one informed me about the extra fees. If you are considering this school, look elsewhere.

Waqqas Ahmad is an amazing instructor! He's very patient, knowledgeable, and honest. He definitely knows how to teach someone who's a first-time driver and who also gets nervous behind the wheel. Waqqas taught me so many techniques when it comes to adjusting my parking (esp parallel parking) and it really impressed my test examiner! I passed on MY FIRST TIME and my examiner said that she has NOTHING to critique. Thank you Waqqas for helping me get the confidence I needed! I signed up for many driving sessions at AMB, and was fortunate enough to have Naushad Alim as my instructor. My particular situation was out of the ordinary, and I needed the best possible instructor to give me driving lessons. I was blessed to have been assigned to Naushad, who literally saved me from what could have been a disaster and life altering situation. Two years ago, I was charged with Highway Traffic Act. Although my license was never suspended, I had just one opportunity to pass the G test. Had I failed, I would have been downgraded to a G1 learner's permit, and not eligible to try for the G until 12 months had elapsed. Naushad knew the stakes were extremely high for me, and he worked so very hard and diligently until he felt comfortable I would pass the highway component, along with the city driving and other knowledge required to obtain a G license. Needless to say, Naushad's hard work and meticulous driving instructions served me well, as I passed the G test this morning. Besides the fact that Naushad is an amazingly competent instructor, he is one of the nicest people I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I now consider him to be my friend, and plan on staying in touch. Words cannot possibly express my gratitude to Naushad. If you are looking for the best driving school, look no further than AMB. Everyone at AMB is polite and courteous, from the people who answer the phones right up to the owner, who is easily accessible. Many thanks!

I got package number 02 back in July 2021 and I got 20 hours class (which was pretty fast) we did in a week. The driving class the instructor it’s literally giving me 2 HOURS A MONTH! Which will take me about 05 months or so to finish these 11 hours. It might take several months, up to 6-7 months to finish this package. If you’re not in a rush, great. If you are trying to have it done a bit faster, then I’m not sure what to suggest. I don’t believe I would recommend that to friend.

I wrote my knowledge test and realized that even though I had the driving experience but still I felt that I need to take the classes to get to know the traffic rules better. Got to know about AMB driving school and specifically one of my friend recommended to take the lessons from Mr. Waqqas Ahmad. He is a very professional driving instructor, had given me 2 lessons which made me get my G2 license in first attempt. To summarize, I would highly recommend students coming from India or else where to take the driving lessons before attempting for the road test. EDIT: My in car driving instructor Zaidi, was absolutely amazing! The only reason I got my G2 license was because he was very thorough in explaining the rules of the road, he answered all my questions and most importantly I felt comfortable and at easy while driving. He was easy to communicate with and was available for multiple lessons that fit around my schedule. I am from India and had never driven in North America. After booking online for 5 hour in car lessons + road test, AMB never bothered to connect me to an instructor, even after 2-3 days post booking. Had to reach out to them for assigning me an instructor. I had clearly communicated my availability and schedule multiple times to my instructor, mapping out 5 hours in 5 sessions in such manner that I'd get enough practice, just prior to the date of my road test. However, my instructor made an arbitrary choice to provide me 2 hour sessions instead, for the first 2 lessons, with no prior communication. I reached out to AMB regarding this, and was told that they conduct 1 hour to 2 hour in-car lessons. I mentioned it to them that I was never informed about this earlier. Received no response. After my 2nd in car session, my instructor informed me in the night that my in car sessions were done and the final 1 hour was allocated for the road test. I still had a little over 2 weeks prior to my scheduled road test. Thankfully, I had a good road and driving sense having driven 10+ years in India. As a result, I managed to pass. However, AMB's communication and overall service quality was subpar. I would not recommend.

This year and the last one were challenging for people trying to get G2 or G. These guys helped me brush up on my driving, they accomodated my exam scheduled at a late hour. Naushad, my instructor, was easy to communicate to, he was very patient, identified where I needed improvement and we worked on that. All in all, my personal experience was great and the max number of stars is also because with Naushad I passed G2 exit on the first attempt at one of the rather difficult DT centers in the GTA.

Naseer was my instructor for the G2 test and helped me pass on the first try. We did a 3 hr package together and I used his car for the test. Really funny guy. At first, you may perceive him as distracting but his instruction is the right balance of serious, light hearted, and safety focused. He has lots of experience, an 80%+ pass rate with his students, and in depth knowledge of the Drive Test and testing areas. Would recommend!

Thanks to Rashidi, my instructor. He is one such professional, selfless, dedicated, articulate and knowledgeable instructor. I only had 10 great and quality lessons with him and here I am, I passed. My main fear was driving in Toronto for the first time, having had to drive on the left hand side as I was used to the right hand side BUT thankfully, with Rashidi's expertise, I mastered all the tips and the driving test was just fun. I passed my g2 road test first attempt! Sogir Ahmed was my driving instructor, he was very patient and understanding, making sure I understood and was able to do well in every aspect of driving. Very funny and nice guy, which made driving less nerve-wracking! I learnt so much from Sogir and I feel much more confident in driving and parallel parking especially. I paid for the full package that included the driving instruction and never heard back from my assigned driving instructor. I have been reaching out to them and the driver repeatedly and no times or dates of availability have been given me. The one time I was able to reach my assigned instructor he told me to text him, which I did, and he said he would text me back, to then never hear back from him again. If they don't change me to another instructor I'm requesting a partial refund and going to another driving school to get the in person practice.

Absolutely horrendous driving school. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The reviews here are based on in-class not in-car instruction. Read Yelp reviews for the real ones! I paid $350 for two in-car lessons and G2 Exit Road Test. I was switched instructors and no one communicated with me the week I was to begin the lessons. The instructor I was given wasted 1.5 hours driving in traffic even though I specifically asked for highway driving, did not know my name nor remembered when our lessons were scheduled. They also text their students in the middle of the night. The day of the road test, I was informed 2 hours before my final scheduled lesson and road test that my instructors car broke down and they were attempting to find a replacement, causing me to be extremely stressed before my test, not to mention cutting into the lessons I paid for. The company offers no refund policy even though I had asked prior to starting my lessons due to their poor communication and total disorganization. This company is the worst, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

I had Naushad as my driving instructor during this course. I started off the lessons as a novice g1 driver who didn't know too much about driving, and Naushad really helped me out. I passed my g2 test, and I would not have done it if Naushad was not such a great teacher.

I'm a mature driver (31 years old) and have always been very nervous driving. This also means that the driving tests were also really worrying for me. I took driving lessons with Naushad to refine my skills in preparation for my G2 road test. He was very helpful in picking up bad habits I had (like shuffling the steering wheel) and giving me instructions to make my driving more natural and comfortable. He also had easy-to-follow/remember instructions to parallel park, reverse park and forward park correctly and precisely. Once you're ready, passing the test will come naturally. He commits to his students. We had to cancel so many lessons due to lockdown, but he always contacted me to follow up. He made a custom plan for me according to my weaknesses and needs. He's very strict, but this will make you stronger and confident so the examiner won't make you nervous.

Overall, I had a positive experience with AMB Driving School. I took the in-class lessons for G2- the office building itself is old and not the prettiest but the in-class lessons were good. The instructors switch frequently, one was great, the other not so much my style. In-car lessons were originally very hard to book and I felt I didn't get much feedback from my instructor. He was also late for our lesson and forgot where he had asked me to meet him, a location which was about a 45 minute commute from my house. After trying to book with him for over a month, I requested a change. I was able to change instructors in about 3-4 weeks time. It seems as though the school has too many students and not enough in-car instructors. My second in-car instructor, Shah, was a GREAT instructor and a very good fit for my learning style. He gave insightful feedback, told me exactly what to adjust in order to correct any mistakes and he also praised my driving when I was doing a good job. He was punctual, professional and it is clear he takes pride in his work. His car is new, always very clean and he even got a car wash the morning of my road test in order to make sure the car was in the best condition possible, to make the best impression on the examiner. I appreciate Shah very much and he is the best part of AMB driving school.

I am so happy to have had my instructor, Zaidi, is. He is a super calm and happy man, and gave really good instruction on best techniques for lane changes, parking, etc. Not only does he prepare you for the driving test, he prepares you with practical tips on regular driving. When it came time for my test, my instructor thought I was calm and did well. He then noticed that Zaidi was my instructor, and said he estimated that Zaidi's students have a 90% + pass rate for the driving exam at the Drivetest Metro (Lawrence E) location.

Almost all of these reviews are likely to be fake (it's not difficult, especially when you offer students a gift card for giving five stars). Naushad is not only an incompetent driving instructor (he cancelled his appointments twice with me in the last minute), he was always in an upset and impatient mood. He would have a lesson with another student right before my lesson, so that meant he would often come late and then make me drive to the student's house. Then before the lesson finished he would make go to another student's house so they could start their lesson. Low and unprofessional behaviour.

Waqqas Ahmed was the best instructor I could have asked for and just what I needed to pass my G. my G2 had already expired 6 months from the day I took my test & it was already a headache getting a test booked in the first place because of covid. With that said I was extremely nervous and on edge but Waqqas was very good at calming me down, helping me remember the basics and making sure I was confident enough to pass the test and not have to start from the beginning. Waqqas made sure to teach me in a way that I would retain all the information and I did. So happy to say I passed today and couldn’t have done it without him. Probably better off elsewhere. Instructor Kamal wasn't very understanding of my situation (not being able to drive due to not having access to a family car). He was also very impatient with me and yelled quite a few times, increasing my anxiety tenfold. Messed up parking on my VERY FIRST try ever and his first reaction was to be critical instead of encouraging a 2nd try while giving tips, I mean it was my first time in my entire life so that was just ridiculous on his part. Also made me pay bus fare to commute just 10 minutes to meet him which was quite odd honestly. Overall, not a very pleasant experience aside from his car being nice and clean.

His method of teaching in second to none and he demonstrates true passion and care for his students,he wants you to succeed! Practice makes perfect, the more you drive, the better skill and confidence you will attain. On Sept 23,2021, I passed the G road test after taking 10 hours driving lessons with Naushad again before the test. He explained and trained every detail about the test, and highlighted the keys to be successful in the test. Thanks to Naushad for all his help and patience. Moreover, his fee for the driving training is the best and affordable in the city.

Before I signed up with AMB, I took 4 classes with another driving school. I learned nothing and it was a waste of money. After the fourth class, the instructor asked me why I still couldn't switch lanes properly. Disappointed, I switched to AMB. At first, I was nervous, not knowing how many classes I'd have to take before I learned to drive safely, and if this instructor would be as bad as my previous one. However, I met a much better instructor at AMB, Waqqas Ahmed. He is a friendly, professional, and patient instructor who cares more about the quality of his service than anything else. By the end of my sixth class, I perfected my turns and became reasonably good at parking. Thanks to Waqqas' efforts, I passed my G2 test on my first attempt. He was respectful, mindful, and patient, and he ensured that I would be a safe, smart, and confident driver. I appreciated his feedback which helped me continuously improve my driving skills. I signed up for the in class and 10 hour in car package. Both the class instructor and driving instructor Jack Wang were great. The class instructor focused on safe driving and made the class interesting and fun. I started lessons as a brand new driver but felt confident with Jack since he is a very experienced instructor and has good focus on driving safely. I booked my wife for 5hr in car lesson and was assigned to instructor Mohammed. He was not very accomodating and understanding instructor. He tried to booked a lesson from 9pm-10pm and 6am-7am when I told him in the initial conversation that we have a 5 month old baby and those timings will not work. We finally agreed a 2hr lesson on Friday, August 13, 5pm-7pm. He showed up 30mins late on this scheduled lesson. I highly do not recommend this driving instructor.

Considering that I'm new to driving, I definitely learned for a pretty good price. I got Iqbal (aka Muhammad) as my driving instructor from the Broadview location. He wants you to be sure that you get everything right before you take a test. In my experience, I definitely learned a lot from him and my driving improved a lot. Not to take anything away but I find that Muhammad is very impatient. If he catches you making a serious driving fault or you don't know something, he'll scold you pretty harshly. Like there were some things I didn't know and he scolded me first before teaching me. I don't think he has the patience for mistakes at all. If you want to sign up here and you happen to get Iqbal, I recommend you switch instructors if you don't want to put up with him but you can learn from him if you don't mind.

He takes his job seriously and wants to see his students succeed. He has given me a lot of knowledge and tips that have helped me become a better driver.

Naushad is a very professional instructor. He is very accommodating and has excellent teaching techniques. He is flexible with lesson timings and wants you to pass. I had him as my instructor for my G2 and G license, in doing so i was able to learn good driving techniques which allowed me to become a confident driver on the road. I recommend that everyone learns how to drive from Naushad!!!

My instructor was Waqqas Ahmad from AMB and I am extremely grateful for the advices he’s given me throughout our lessons. We were under the pressure of such a short time (6 hours) to make it before my test, yet he made it work and guided me to be a more detail oriented and responsible driver. He is very clear with his instructions and had the patience for me when I failed to execute certain maneuvers. I was at first worried for my G2 test, however my time with him as an instructor built up my confidence and I successfully passed my test in one go! He’s a great instructor whose full intent is never letting his students fail.
