A challenging course but makes up for awesome views. The course is very rewarding to those who can keep it on the narrow fairways. Greens are quicker than what I'm use to in Ottawa, but are fair. Great clubhouse and patio area to enjoy some refreshments. Would recommend this course to anyone who welcomes a good challenge.

EDIT: Been back a few times now to play and to practice. Updating from 4 to 5 stars. The course and practice facilities are consistently in fantastic shape. The area is under active construction / development, yes, but that shouldn't really affect my rating of the course which is tough and beautiful. A well-maintained and TOUGH course. As things stand at the time of writing (May 2018) the grounds and surrounding area are really, really rough and under development. I'll be curious to see what the facilities and surrounding area look like when all the construction, debris, and grounds are finished. This is a very unforgiving course and, as such, I wouldn't recommend it for high handicappers. GPS is provided in the power carts which is nice. You can also see the position of the carts ahead of you on blind par 4s and 5s. All in all, a nice course, though I'd only make it a "regular" player due to my proximity to Timberlea. As I said, hopefully the place will be gorgeous when finished, but expect to see dirt, rocks, debris and heavy equipment for now.

This is a very nice course. Very sad to see they sold a bunch of land and built so many homes around. It used to have great views now it's residential... Lots of construction going on still. Don't get me wrong it's an exquisite course. But if it was 5 star before its now 4star. And they lose another star as considering the green fees you pay to play here the food is absolutely terrible. At the turn we all got hot dogs. The bread could not have been more dry and the hot dogs were rock hard like they had been cooked and kept warm for a week... So they lose another star there. Not acceptable for a high end course.

Every hole at this course could be a signature hole. If you want to score well come in high and land soft! A bump and run probably won't do it!

Fabulous course in great condition! Only issue seems to be on the hole where 7 huge excavators were tearing up the ground around the hole for more housing starts! This course would be in Canada's top ten if it was situated by the ocean!

A business that doesn’t care about the safety of it’s neighbours. Multiple reports of significant damage to neighbouring homes. Children can't safely play outside. Home owners can’t enjoy their properties without the risk of getting injured by a golf ball. And the golf course refuses to accept any responsibility. Will not support a business that has such little regard for people’s safety. *Actually it has NOT yet been repaired, contrary to the response from Brunello below. And we do know the golfer DID NOT attempt to reach the home owner because there are security cameras covering the full exterior of the home and property. *

The staff are very nice and extremely helpful. Thank you for helping out our group renting skate skis and getting us out on the snow. The trails are great, just watch out for some of the people who are walking on the groomed trails.

Golf course is very challenging but always in great shape. The 19th hole is a nice bar/food area as well, but don't get the cheeseburger...it looked and tasted like a frozen Costco burger patty. Definitely not worth the $17 I paid for it. Wings were good though

What a crazy but wonderful golf course. It's for the experienced golfer to enjoy. Lot of forced carries, corner cutting, and must think your way to hold each fairway and green.

Beautiful course BUT so many blind holes. Very hard to play as a first time at the course. Bounces are towards hazards. Greens are super fast. A few pure shots were lost based on bounce. Very unforgiving.

It's a nice place but they won't put up nets to protect their neighbors When will they do it? When a child gets a ball to the head? Several complains to the management and the councillor contact them but they continue to ignore. Please boycott and force them to put up nets

Pros - super friendly staff, great layout, well maintained course, gps in the carts, great practice facility Cons - kids all over the course, their instructors don't seem to know golf ediquette, they were practicing on holes we were playing, balls on the green when we got there, kids singing and shouting while we putted, one of the instructors even started talking during my backswing. The kids left footprints all over the bunkers then didn't rake them, and we had to wait for them even though we were the first group out, super frustrating back nine. It would have been nice to pay $125+ and see the kids using the practice facility instead of getting in the way. Disappointing,

I went to Brunello to skate. They have a nice setup in a flooded tennis court. It is close to the clubhouse which is open if you need washroom facilities. They also offer cross country skiing with snowmaking capabilities, walking trails, and mountain biking. Golf in the summer. Great facility.

Brunello is without question one of the best golf courses you can play in Nova Scotia and Canada. It is always in fantastic shape and the greens are tour quality. It's not an easy golf course and you need to be accurate or you will lose balls, but this course makes you a better golfer. I highly recommend the blue tees - they are like hitting off a green. The bunkers are perfect and the fairways are actual fairways! I only wish they would put in grass on the range to hit from. To be such a top caliber course with mats at the range is disappointing. I'm pretty sure the golf staff know this but it obviously isn't their choice to make. If the owner reads this - you need grass practice facility to come up to the next level. Look at the Cabot courses - beautiful grass ranges. Update June 2021: It's near impossible to get a tee time. It's very disappointing. 4 weeks out booked solid. They will need to do something to remedy this.

This is probably the hardest (non wind) course I have played. The fairways are stunning, same can be said about the near perfectly manicured greens. Greens are quick but run the line you send putts on. Clubhouse and patio are great, the meal I had was delicious, staff were very friendly. Perfect place to come if you're looking for a challenge. Not sure anyone could leave here disappointed.......after they get over the shock of how terribly they have shot.

It has all you would Ever need to leed a healthy active life . The golfing is phenomenal .. cross-country skiing is the best time youll Have for this time of the year. Their golf simulators also turn winter Into summer again , if only for an hour or so., i guarantee you will do 2 things . # 1. You will go back again. #2 . You will tell a friend.. Take the time to visit ... The links at brunello . You owe it to yourself so Go ahead and have a grate time...

Course is great but just left an early morning tee time and the grounds crew were mowing on almost every hole. Which would not be bad if they stopped when you were trying to shoot and they were right next to you. Clubhouse staff were great. Grounds crew etiquette not great for the price of a green fee
