I've taken my pup here about 10 times since Jan 2020. She has gotten kennel cough twice from here! ! We are very disappointed because she really did love going. But it's not worth the hundreds of dollars in vet bills I've had to spend as a result in the last few months. Not to mention my puppy is only 8 months old and has been on 2 rounds of antibiotics. ????????????

UPDATE: I initially posted this review on Facebook as well. They messaged us to say that they would check the security footage and contact us to explain what was seen. They instead deleted the review and never contacted us. Little wonder they have nearly 5 stars on Facebook. Spoke with someone who had previously worked at Playful Paws and they confirmed that the current owners couldn't care less what goes on with the dogs. Take your dogs elsewhere. Plenty of competition around who actually at least pretend to give a damn about your dog's wellbeing behind the closed doors. I have never written a negative review in my life and I'm so angered that I feel compelled to write this one. My parents have been taking their small (15lb), sweet and friendly little Havanese here for approximately 3 years. He is well behaved and the most loving and docile little thing. Now imagine my father's horror when picking up their furry pal and seeing, behind the curtained area, an employee grabbing their dog by collar and dragging him by the neck while he struggles to follow on his tip toes. They dropped off their dog again the next day and witnessed the EXACT same thing upon picking him up. As an employee of the pet industry myself, I understand how stressful it can be sometimes. However, you should NEVER let your disgrutled employees take their frustration out on a dog that they have been trusted to care for. We will never be taking our dog here again and we would encourage anyone choosing between doggy daycares to take your beloved pet elsewhere. We certainly will be.

Wonderful local business. The set up is so much more fun for dogs than the other local daycares. They've got dirt and trees instead of the typical fake grass, and lots of things to play on. Ayla had a blast on her birthday and we'll be using them again!

You can leave your pup at playful paws, knowing they are going to get the best care. They also teach classes at the facility which is just as great as the day care.

Love these folks! Our terrier can be pretty high maintenance sometimes, but he's always welcomed and really seems to enjoy his time with everyone at Playful Paws. He can never make it all the way home before he needs a little nap after burning off energy and socializing.

Great place for energetic dogs! They have a specialized daycare for dogs that don't play well with other dogs. Our Doberman is one of these dogs, doesn't understand when to back off. Playful Paws work with him in muzzle, correct him when he is obnoxious, he has been doing well and gets to do some out of muzzle play. If not for Playful Paws, we may have had to give him up, but we knew he had a lot of love in him for us and needed the proper surroundings. The staff at Playful Paws are top notch!

Sometimes it's best to keep your business affairs separated from personal friends and employees personal affairs, especially when in the public eye. You should have just said no, instead of being insulting, and done right mean. If that is how you handle yourself, I would be very concerned for any animals in your "care". I too have had situations that have made me heated or angry but acting as you did is not ok for a public figure, especially one that runs a rescue to benefit those animals in need. I brought my pup here for doggy daycare and had a great experience with them. I was planning on doing puppy classes with them, and paid a deposit after they had suggested that the puppy classes would be good for my dog. A few days later I got an email casually mentioning that the classes would be over Zoom (not mentioned online that I could see, and not mentioned in the email prior to my deposit being made). I then asked multiple times if I could put my deposit towards daycare instead of wasting $50. They kept trying to tell me that their classes were great, and when I kept asking if I could put my $50 toward doggy daycare (not asking for a refund - you're welcome to keep my money, I just figure if I'm not taking the class might as well put it towards a service I am using) they said.. "Thank you for your email. We have reviewed your emails back and forth with us and since June 24th you have been informed of the class, and the class setting. Zoom has been consistently mentioned and discussed with you. We are excited for these classes and the homework assignments you will be receiving. Should the COVID cases remain low we will be having an in person class at the facility as things progress. However, this new way of teaching will be the way we proceed from here on. This way of class ensures the parents are actually learning the exercises and doing the homework. We are unable to move the deposit to daycare as it has been used for your class spot which can now not be filled. We thank you for your understanding." This was a frustrating experience as I have actually been in contact with them since the 24th regarding Zoom and was told that if I called I may be able to have the deposit dealt with. Overall, I do think that this is a good facility, and they treated my pup well. I would give 5/5 stars if not for this experience trying to sign up for puppy classes without being told they would be online.

Fantastic! We were at an open house with a bunch of dogs in the play area. I've never seen Such a chill place with so many dogs. All very well trained. Love that this is the place my niecey-pooch gets to go to regularly.

These guys are five paws ???? up ! On their Facebook page they are always posting pictures and videos and they are always a good laugh ???? prices are amazing for a full day is only 30$ and the assignment is free! My pup loves this place and knows when we are pulling in because he can bearly contain him self in side the car he is so happy to be there !

I can’t praise Playful Paws enough. Their staff goes above and beyond everyday with all the pups. They are so knowledgeable and helpful, and always go the extra mile. Julia even brought our pup Dolly to get wedding pictures with us (she knew Dolly would need a little extra attention as she can be leash reactive), being able to have Dolly part of our special day was totally amazing. They have given my lab/dal mix a whole new level of enrichment! I never in a million years thought my nutball would be able to go to doggy daycare, she is fearful and reactive to new people and dogs (especially when she is with me). We did confidence class and then Dolly started in specialized daycare with Katie and now she goes to regular daycare like a regular pup! I will always recommend Playful Paws to any dog lover I know! These people are the absolute best!
