The Par 3 Executive course was terribly maintained this year. Most of the greens were dead grass or dirt. I've played the Championship Course and that is generally always nice but I was not impressed at all with the executive course.

The course is Nearly unfit to play. We made the trip down and decided to play elsewhere after arriving. It’s too bad as we had heard nothing but great things about the course prior to. It appears to have been neglected for most of the summer.

Amazing experience. If ever get the chance to play, do it. We'll worth it, especially if you compare to other local courses services. Only thing I did not enjoy was the decision to not place any fairway markers on the course. I had to constantly ask a card mate, who had a rangefinder, what the distance was to the pin.

Wonderful course. Was impressed by the quality of the fairways and greens early in the season. An expensive green fee, but if you can afford it then this course is very fun to play.

It has not been cared for or prepared for golfers. No tee markers, burnt fairways , little sand in the bunkers. Looks like a neglected , underfunded, public course. Positive side is the course views are beautiful.

I am giving this 5 stars with absolute confidence that the new owners can make Glen Arbour one of the finest golf courses in Canada. I was lucky to snatch a morning tee time last week. I have not played there for a while, but great to be back. This course has huge potential, and I am delighted to see that a group with vision and proven successes have taken this project on. Had a great round with 4 friends and we enjoyed it immensely. Water on the course is certainly not an issue this year, and after many consistent days of rain the course dried out quickly. Exciting times for the course, so good luck to all involved.

The course was in fairly bad condition surprisingly. The tee boxes were very spotty and had more dirt than grass on most holes. The fairways were pretty good but the rough had a lot of dead grass and bare spots. Glen Arbour is normally in very good condition so I was shocked to see the state of it at the moment. Hopefully it'll be back to normal soon.

Once the top golf course in Halifax. Amazing layout and stil has potential to recover. The course has been desperate for members for years. Overpriced and underwatered. The tee boxes are sand boxes. It was sad to see an elite course now be one of the worst in the city. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets sold to a development company for houses like people are talking about. I feel terrible for the people who spent all that money to live in that community to retire and golf. What a shame.

Very terrible service. The golf Marshall was bothering some people there in front of us. I do not know why he was acting like the police We were offered to warm up on the drives but this guy said not allowed. He said nobody should be telling you that you can try some warm ups drives? The office seldom returns the emails we sent to book times so we took our games to other golf courses this year.

Nice course. I recommend using a pull cart as the power carts don't allow you to drive to far from the cart path as they are controlled by GPS location.

Most fairways are unplayable due to burning. Bunkers are completely bottomed out and lack any type of sand. Range was closed and unusable. Greens however were in great shape. For a $100 green fee walking you're better off going to another course. Really disappointing considering it is still full price to play. So much potential if maintained!

We had an early Tee time and showed up early to practice at 645. The place was closed, proshop, range Ball area etc. We practiced on the putting range that was full of large goose droppings. When the shop was finally opened Chris was very friendly. There were now range balls ready so we had to wait to have the range Ball baggies filled. Then we had to use the carpet instead of grass for the range. This was incredibly disappointing, such a great course shouldn't have to use mats on the range. Once we got onto the course it was beautiful. The course was in great condition. Greens were true, fairways were awesome. We really enjoyed the course, what a gem. I played this course in 2003 before I really knew what Golf was. It was so nice to play it today!! Pace of play was pretty good, we finished in 4:20ish. We had a drink at the restaurant and Jenna was excellent, very personable and smiling the whole time, made everyone feel welcome. This would have been 5/5 but the first 30 minutes really upset the four of us. It's a must play if you anywhere near it. Enjoy, hit'em straight...
