If you're looking for someone who is "super thorough", professional, patient and friendly, Daniel is your guy. You will learn pro driving skills and some serious 'insider info' that will help you be even more alert on the road. I told Daniel to be hard on me since I've had pretty bad driving habits and he made sure that I do things right. With him, it wasn't about passing, it was about ACING the test and becoming a real safe driver for life. I love going for drives now and pretend Daniel is there so I pay extra attention on the road "Scan Jibran!!! Scan!!! Shoulder check!!!!". I 100% recommend Daniel for newbies or people who didn't drive for ages (I didn't drive for 7 years). My friend recommended Alex as an instructor. I now know a total of 7 people (including myself) that have taken lessons with Alex and passed their road test. I went in with little to no experience, didn’t trust the other users of the road and was a nervous wreck. However, I kept at it despite the COVID pandemic and having to pause 2 times because of it. Although I was terrified of taking my class 7 road test, Alex believed in me. Alex answered all my questions, drew some pretty awesome diagrams, provided a lot of really great driving and life advice. It is important to remain positive and listen to the advice that he is providing because it will help you pass the exam. He is the type of teacher that gives it his all and understands the frustration students feel when learning how to drive. I definitely recommend Alex as a driving instructor and the sooner you pick him the better!

With Alex teaching you, you will definitely pass the test. Not because you "know what will be on the test" but because you have become a stronger, safer driver. It's also important to know how to ensure your safety around other drivers (other drivers that are simply not as safe, and could use some SenSen lessons of their own), and this is something Alex excels at! Alex is AMAZING. He is very patient, flexible, thorough, experienced and truly knows what he's doing (and what I was doing - he knew what mistakes I was going to make even before I made them lol). I had a challenging start because my general sense of direction is just not that good (i.e. google map is a must for me 90% of the time when I go out), and to this date I still remember how nervous and overwhelmed I was during our first lesson. But Alex never gave up on me and eventually I was able to get over the fear and passed my Class 7 test on the first try!! I truly think he is the best driving instructor you could find in town!!

His unique, step-by-step approach to teaching, combining humour, verbal instruction, demos, and diagrams helped me learn extremely fast. Amidst the craziness of Spring 2021 with hundreds of students needing lessons, SenSen Driving School responded immediately to my text saying that they could fulfil my request for 6 refresher classes and car rental for my Class 5 exam. I use Evo car (Toyota Prius) and his training vehicle is a Toronto Corolla LE, so the compatibility as well as the exact same reverse camera was invaluable. No matter how many shoulder checks I have managed to forget Alex never failed to stay patient and have a good sense of humour. I passed my class 5 road test last week for the first time after taking classes with Alex! Alex prepares you not only to pass your test, but to actually become a safe driver. Every session, I learned a lot from him. He is very knowledgeable and fun to work with! I had previous classes with another instructor few years back, and failed my road test twice. I passed my class 7 road test thanks to SenSen Driving school! Alex is a great instructor. He provides helpful insights on what is on the exam. Be sure to ask him anything if you dont understand, he will be glad to answer them. I cant wait to go back and take lessons in 2 years!

I’m so glad I took driving lessons with Alex, he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! He’s super friendly, chill and patient and guides you through things step by step and will continue to be patient and calm, even if you make the same mistakes over and over again and will make sure you learn them safely and get them right! I don’t normally get things in the first try and it takes me a while to learn things sometimes, my friends and family would tell me to just “feel the car and you’d get the hang of it eventually,” but I’m a bit of a different learner, where I need steps or instructions to try things out for the first time and then slowly after I gain my confidence then I can go with the flow! Alex really helped me with gaining my confidence for driving on the road and was always super supportive and helpful! Whenever I felt overwhelmed or forgot how to do things, Alex would demonstrate them and then do them with me slowly until I felt comfortable and confident in doing them by myself. Another helpful tool for learning different tricks and tips for driving is the SenSen Driving School online blog, which is frequently updated by Alex and helped me so much with parking! It has great tips on driving safely, as well as some step by step instructions for the various challenging things such as parking, and talks about what things you should be focusing on and why all those steps are important! His blog became a good resort for me on when I forgot how to do things and a platform for a quick checkpoint to see if I was doing them properly! I highly recommend Alex and SenSen Driving School to people, because he is super friendly, easy going, calm and patient and will teach you at your own pace, whether you’re a fast learner or a slow learner like me, he will spend that extra time with you, focusing on things you need help with during the lessons, until you feel confident in yourself and will help you pass your driving test in your first try!

TL;DR A dedicated and fun teacher who will walk you through everything you need to get your license. He is: • friendly • punctual • caring • professional I was fortunate to have found Alex -- he is the ONLY reason I was able to pass my road test. I had taken my ICBC Road Test once, but I failed and for many years since then, I have been in the perpetual cycle of re-acquiring my Class 7 Learner's Permit. I never really recovered from flunking my road test, but Alex assured me that we could make it happen. RESULT: I passed! He somehow managed to provide me with the confidence and competence to pass and get my "N" (Class 7) ???? He is a miracle worker. I cannot thank him enough, he is an amazing teacher and if you are a committed student, he will get you where you need to go. Happy driving and thank you, Alex -- you are the best!

Biggest thanks to Daniel and Alex for helping me get my N on first try with praise from the examiner! Due to tricky timing, I had taken lessons from both instructors. The majority of my lessons were with Daniel who helped me correct previously-formed bad habits and taught me new tips for driving/parking well, while I had refresher lessons with Alex who took me to my road test and talked me through my nerves. Before finding Alex, I have done trial classes with two other driving schools. Alex was the most helpful instructor in comparison. As the result, I got my license N in my first road test. He is an excellent instructor who tries to find out the core reasons for you to make the mistakes. So that you won't make the same mistake again. I would say take the trial class and you will notice the difference.
