You will be able to see all the feddbacks of people like you who buy the services and products of ProRIDE Motorcycle Training (Driving School) in the area of North Vancouver (Canada).
At present this business gets a score of 4.9 out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is basically the highest, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we may think that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

If you're thinking of taking a course with ProRide - DO IT! Amazing instructors, invaluable lessons, and knowledge I'll take with me for life. They somehow manage to make you feel both comfortable and challenged, and are supportive the whole way through. I had an absolute blast, thanks guys!
Fantastic group of instructors that really inspire confidence in the students. My class was full and all the students had varying amounts of experience but everyone came away from our course with so much valuable knowledge and skills!
Highly recommended! Brian and Matt are great instructors. You won't believe how much you've learned and mastered by the time you go on the road rides!
Well worth the investment. I just passed my final road test - wouldn't have happened without Proride! Course is well organized and sets you up with everything you need to pass. All around well done & I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get their license.
Very knowledgeable instructors and the environment is safe and fun that promotes learning easily. I would recommend ProRide Motorcycle Training to all my friends wanting to learn to ride safely.
Best school hands down! All the teachers are informative and very patient. I would recommend this course to all my friends who wanna stay safe out there. Amazing school and amazing peeps! Thanks ProRide!!!
I have been riding for over 30 years on and off and steadily for the last 17 years. After purchasing a 900 pound Ultra Limited Harley, I wanted to take a skills refresher course to improve my skills. The 4 hour parking lot course and exercises modeled after the Oregon State police program was excellent along with our main instructor John. At 150.00 per rider for 4 hours of excellent skills training in a large parking lot, this course is definitely more than worth it. At the end of the 4 hours, my hog felt at least 200 pounds lighter and slow speed U turns, right turns, figure 8's are now a breeze. I strongly recommend ProRIDE to any one who currently rides, regardless of how many years you have under your belt. Michael Woytowich. Richmond, BC.
My husband and I were both super happy with the training we received at pro ride! The instructors were super patient with me (I didn't take to riding as fast as others in class) and really helped me gain confidence and learn some safe riding skills. We both passed our road test easily and continue to refer our friends to pro ride. Don't hesitate and sign up to learn with them, you won't regret it!
What a journey!! They teach the art of safe riding in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Riding in beautiful North Vancouver near the waters and mountain views is also a bonus!!! The resources and support available to students made all the difference in my riding confidence and a successful road test. I look forward to becoming a better motorist with their advanced classes. Highly recommend!!!
Efficient, clear, consistent direction from all instructors? Check. Ample opportunities to ask all the questions you have? Check. Good dose of humour? Check. Do I now have a solid foundation to continue my education and practice to become a safe rider? Double check. Worth the investment? Absolutely. It was an excellent weekend. Thank you!
Absolutely top-tier. Brian and John are knowledgeable, funny, and approachable. Further, they make the class both informative and fun. I only did the classroom component, but it was all good information that was practical and pertinent to every type of rider. The content was filled with things to practice to become a better and safer rider, and more effectively approach the road test. I highly recommend these guys!
This is one of the best courses to learn how to ride a motorcycle for anyone that wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I had no experience riding a motorcycle when I came into this class. I had the pleasure of meeting John, Brian, Matt, Hilton and Marcel. They were all a blast to learn from. They always made sure that you were confidence in everything you had to do. If your wanting to learn or even brush up on your skills because you haven't been on a bike for a long time this is the place to be. This is a great place to also meet great people. Made some good friends and they always have old graduates come back to say hi. That must mean something.
Took the course in May 2015 ..Very helpful and knowledgeable trainers. It was an awesome experience full of fun. The techniques and tips can really help even experienced riders. If you are in Vancouver and looking to learn motorcycle riding....pro ride is the best there is....highly recommended! Believe me you will have loads of fun. Brian, Jen, Matt all are great. Must do course!
Matt, Brian, Jenn and others at ProRide - thank you! Your training was excellent in every way. It was a group course so I learned a lot by participating with the group, watching others and hearing feedback, but I also received plenty of one-on-one instruction that was catered to my shortcomings. Your course provided all of the knowledge and practical application for me to comfortably and confidently practice on my own. I now feel solid with my skills and just need to worry about everything else that's out there to get me! Today, thanks to you, I received my Class 6 licence. Thanks again. Happy riding!
An engaging, informative, welcoming, and hilarious experience - ultimately creating safer and more thoughtful riders. I'm hitting the streets with joy and confidence after training with this team!
awesome experience , flexible schedules and clear instructions given , no need to ask questions on how to do anything ,everything was explained in detail. Instructors are focused on your safety and making sure your never in a dull moment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS
It was an horrible experience, and I did not enjoy it at all. I also did not learn at all.
ProRIDE's catalog of courses are top notch! I attended their signature "Survival Rider Training" programme this month, which is a unique course catering to riders of all skill levels. I learnt techniques and skills that I had not gained in my 6 years of riding experience hitherto. Motorcycling is an intuitive exercise in my opinion; and the ace instructors at ProRIDE are tremendously adept at enabling their students to discover their own potential in becoming successful and capable riders. All the sessions were super fun- as all learning should be- and each one of us had the privilege of individual attention and assessment. I would like to convey my deepest appreciation to ProRIDE'S maestros- Brian Antonio, Joel Cajapin, John Buddo, Matt Grannis. Otto To, and Marcel Hanslo for conducting a fabulous motorcycling training course and giving us all a memorable learning experience. I shall also holler a special shoutout here to my favourite instructor John Buddo, whose amazing skills left me in awe and whom I tried to emulate to the best of my abilities. I would encourage even experienced riders to sign up for any one of ProRide's courses because learning is an interminable lifelong process! Much thanks to the entire team for their invaluable contribution to the art of motorcycling.
I passed my road test yesterday at the Burnaby ICBC. Thanks so much to Brian, Jen and the rest of the instructors who made the ProRide training so fun and intense. Two classroom days, two days in the Capilano parking lot trying out so many manoeuvers, passing the MST, and then two super-fun road ride days around the neighbourhood and out to Horseshoe Bay. Had a wonderful learning experience. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Great instruction. Fun!
Before I started the Proride course I was a bit hesitated about money to spend for that. However, after completion the course I would say that it worth every single penny. The guys are not just good, the most important that they do care about you and are interested in your success. Also they taught a lot of things that maybe eventually would let you survive in tough road situations. One month later after their course I passed ICBC road test with the first attempt, and the examiner's feedback was - You did a great job, man! So, I do advise to invest you time and money - in really worth it. Btw, not to forget - it also was a real fun ))
Safe, comfortable environment to learn for beginners. Highly recommend this motorcycle school. Dr. Shahram Fasihy
Ok, this five star rating is conditional on whether I get my license or not... seriously Brian I love the 80s but not the way you do buddy. Matt keepin us crackin with the movie quotes delivered in perfect comedic deadpan drill sarge fashion. LOL! You guys are all awesome and I'm sure what I learned will save my life someday. This course is brilliant – you have to take it. Don't forget to join the alumni group on FB after you have finished it!
I will never forget my time with the team! So informative, extremely fun, and made some new friends. I'll only recommend ProRIDE to anyone. Brian, Joel, Matt, Ryan, Marty, and the rest of the team are the Best of the Best...Seriously. God Bless, guys. I had an unforgettable time. I loved every moment...
Great pricing good service! I recommend Gary for any of your motorcycle training needs.
Absolutely fantastic instructors and overall experience. Came highly recommended from multiple friends, and so glad I took the course. The instructors are highly attentive to the nuances of group classes, and gave each rider in my class a great deal of focused feedback to improve all of our abilities. Felt very secure and safe on the group rides, and loved all of our crew!!
While I've had a class 5/6 since I was 16 and ridden many years/miles/bikes, I have not ridden a bike in about 25 years. I just completed the Survival Rider class and I'm really glad that I did. I met some very nice people, received top notch instruction/practise and feel a lot more confident as I start riding again. Highly recommended.
Great experience all around. Lots of hours in the parking lot to hone skills, plus great preparation for the road test with the pre-test simulation and day of support. The entire staff is knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about riding.
If you're brand new to motorcycles, you'd be a fool to not consider taking the Survival Riding course. The guys are extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even after I had finished the program, Brian had still provided support with an ICBC licensing issue I had - something he had absolutely no obligation to do. Kudos to the ProRide guys. Thanks to them, I went from no experience whatsoever on a motorcycle, to full license in about 6 weeks (Yep, passed the ICBC road test on the first try). Now I'm riding my dream bike and still consciously using the defensive techniques they teach. Thanks guys!
ProRIDE was such a great experience! I just finished the Survival Rider Training Program tonight and felt the need to write a review. Special thanks to Brian, John, Matt and Otto for making it such a fun experience for my cousin any myself. Look forward in continuing learning more from everyone at proRide in the near future.
The best place to learn how to ride. Extra applause to the staff!
Perfect for people who want to learn to ride a motorcycle! Students get constant help and feedback while learning to ride, which makes the learning process much easier and more enjoyable. Proride teaches you how to ride, and how to take on a risky activity in the safest ways possible. Would highly recommend the course.
Thank you I really like the way that instructors train you in order to ride a Motorcycle. I would say riding a Motorcycle would be possible for everyone who get trained by Proride.
The experience of learning to ride a motorcycle with Brian and Matt was not just comprehensive, well-paced and safe. ProRide really does make you feel at ease while learning. They teach you to embrace rather than fear the dangers of riding, how to avoid various hazards and ultimately enjoy the unique experience of being on two wheels. Highly recommended!
Absolutely worth the money! ???????? Take advantage of the instruction, traffic classes, and bike rentals and you’ll pass your road test the first time with confidence. Would do it again.
Pro-Ride is a great school for learning the skills that may save your life! The mechanics course is also a very in-depth course, that is well worth the money. Highly recommend to anyone starting out on a motorcycle or want a refresher on their skills!
Haven't been on a motorbike for 40 years, these guys equipped, trained and prepared us and got us competent (subject to more riding) in just 6 easy lessons. Great focus on safety, doing it right, and enjoying yourself. Head up eyes up, thanks John!
Worth every penny. ProRide staff are very skilled and I very much enjoyed my training time with them. Great people and great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who is looking into getting into motorcycling and doing it the right way!
I took the course in June. I am a brand new rider and I felt very supported by the instructors as I muddied my way through learning the skills. After passing the MST, I felt I had the skills to ride independently and safely. I passed my road test today (first try) and I know it was in large part thanks to the memorable lessons learned in the course and the test preparedness support leading up to the road test. A HUGE thank you to all the instructors and team. I would HIGHLY recommend taking this course.
Great instruction. Great guys. I used the course as a refresher as I hadn't rode a bike for a long time. Definitely a good return on investment. Thank you!
Successfully completed my skills test yesterday with ProRide. I found their instruction to be excellent. Brian, Joel, Matt, Otto, and Roy were all top-notch. Looking forward to our traffic ride tonight!
Great School! The instructors are very knowledgable and keep things interesting in the classroom. In the parking lot they take you step by step through the fundamentals of riding a bike, but most importantly they teach positioning and awareness on the road. It's also a affordable and easy place to rent from once the course is completed!
Great atmosphere! Great people! Great time! ProRide, you’re awesome!
ProRide Team -> 110% awesome! ProRide instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced. They possess hi level skill set as a motorcycle riders, and definitely know how to share this knowledge with the class. Very, very patient, fantastic and fun people they are. :)
Had an absolute blast doing my 5 day Motorcycle Survival Skills class with the ProRide crew. Phenomenal experience with the best instructors! ????
If you are planning to get your motorcycles license I will forever recommend doing the Survival Training Course with ProRide: Highly knowledgeable instructors who are passionate, safety conscious and extremely supportive! Even if you've never touched a bike before you will leave this course a more confident and safe rider :)
ProRide is an amazingly involved course which takes you through all of the steps to help you feel comfortable on a motorcycle as well as continuously challenging your skill level to make you a better rider. The instructors are all very welcoming, animated, and hilarious in a way that makes the course way too much fun and they go out of their way to support you through your entire motorcycle experience from start to finish. Would 100% recommend this course for anyone looking to learn to ride or even want to become a better rider.
Best money you will ever spend - fantastic value for the $$. I had such a good experience with Pro Ride. I had started up riding after an 8 year absence and dropped my bike with a couple of broken bones. I decided to redo my training right from scratch and I feel so good about my decision. I now think my fall was the best thing that could have happened. The class had an excellent review of the basic principles of safe riding - lane position & changes, signs, merging, correct gear to wear, highest potential for accidents etc. - and then was followed by two rigorous days in the parking lot at the beautiful North Vancouver Campus of Capilano University. We sweated (July, 30 degrees) in full gear, but learned a ton and I felt my confidence returning as I began re-mastering slow speed riding, where the majority of drops/falls etc. can happen. We also were able to try different bikes, and I tried them all: Honda Grom, Yamaha dirt bike, Honda Rebel 250, Harley Davidson 500. I realized that I had no business riding my new-to-me-bike anywhere but a parking lot until I learned its idiosyncracies of clutch, throttle and brakes. Every bike I tried at Pro Ride was different, including within the type: 3 Groms, 3 Harleys, 5 or 6 Yamahas and a couple of Rebels. Each was entirely unique for ride - a big learning lesson! I repassed my skills test, which is satisfying at age 55, and got to go on the traffic ride on a heavy 250 Suzuki that was top heavy... just like my bike. And surprise surprise, it was all fine! I did the u-turns without difficulty. The absolute best thing about Pro Ride though is the personalities and expertise of the instructors. Learning to sing 80s songs while mastering complex manouvers was brilliant and hilarious, and Matt and Otto made the parking lot days so much fun I was sorry when it was over. Brian is also extremely funny, and strict, a good counterpoint; and John has a lot of experience on dual sport and off-road riding - being able to pick their brains about bikes and rides was a bonus. It's so affordable! If you're looking to get your license it is the best money you will ever spend - you get a practice test, an extra traffic ride, as a graduate you can rent their bikes by the day to practice on, and use one of their bikes to take your ICBC road test. You also get some gear and new bike purchase discounts. It's really an amazing program. Everyone in our class (16) passed. Pretty great track record. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Really enjoyed the course so far. Brian's instruction was great with cameos from Matt. Focus on safety but with humour and patience. Looking forward to the road rides tomorrow ???? Highly recommend Proride. I'd never ridden a bike before but passed the skills test first time due to the excellent preparation provided in the parking lot training.
These guys are great... really! When I was signing up, I was a bit hesitant since the price seemed a bit too high, but when you go to the first class, you know what you are paying for. Amazing staff who take the time and make sure you understand every detail. They make sure you are ready for riding when you leave the class. Highly recommended. Patrick, Matt and Otto were great instructors. Thank you
Great and well structured course, great instruction and crew. Thanks guys!
Yes, the name says it all... giving us newbies the essential lessons in understanding BEFORE we need it... rather than LEARNING LATER after a mistake. The entire course is detailed, and the urgency in the lessons... urgency since we are dealing with life and (the outcome of a mistake)... is so relevant. IMO you cannot learn from a friend. Learn from those that see so many of us new riders that they can see the issues at first glance. Keep your friend your friend. Thanks ProRide!
What an amazing experience at ProRide Motorcycle training . I had the privilege to learn from such experienced professionals, knowledgeable, and skilled instructors. Thank you for your endless effort and hard work teaching us to be a safe riders on the road. I highly recommend PRoRide training to anyone, because they will teach you excellent skills and techniques with utmost care to be an excellent and safe riders out there.Thankyou.
I just rode out of ICBC with my motorcycle licence! I highly recommend anyone going through the process to let ProRide guide you through it. I received _true_ instruction in the class, in the parking lot and on the road. They were able to answer all my questions, put me at ease on the motorbike, offer their wealth of knowledge and train me to ride at a higher standard than what ICBC expects. Purely worth it.
I thought I knew how to ride a motorcycle before taking the survival rider course. Sure, I knew how to stop, go, and turn. But I learned so much in the classroom and the parking lot stage (lane position, emergency braking, maneuvers, parking, and the list goes on) that I definitely recommend this to any rider. Whether it be someone who is just learning to ride or has been riding for years. There is so much to take from it as well as great instructors for each portion. No, seriously. Great instructors!
Overall the experience was amazing. When it came to the in class lectures Joel was incredibly informative and kept us engaged. When it came to the practical portion, Matt was incredibly enthusiastic and made sure everyone was being taken care of. Matt was also incredibly informative and truly helped progress us in confidents and ability, all within the short time of being in the program. Huge props to Matt and the other instructors (Otto, Roy) for really taking the time to help teach those in the class who were struggling. Overall extremely impressed and will make sure to continue to use pro-ride classes on a yearly basis to make sure my skills are developing and in check.
Best decision I ever made was registering for this course. The whole team was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Clear, concise, and they really help you to develop an understanding and build a solid foundation to set you up for success as a rider. They make it fun, engaging, and are extremely supportive whatever your level of experience. Highly recommend. Would do the course again for fun I enjoyed it so much. If you've been on the fence about registering, consider this your sign to do it! Worth every penny and more, I am forever grateful. Thanks a million. "Look straight, break straight"
I had a lot of worries before i started, But from the first day my worries began to disappear, I felt how much experience they had. They had a very solid curriculum, and all the explanations were very simple and easy to understand, and all their demonstrations were gradually exaggerated so that i could see well. They were always kind and kind to us and taught us well with patience. plus i was surprised after pass. I thought, I was fully guaranteed the money I paid, but the traffic class steps were waiting for me. The other day I rode a traffic class with my instructor , and experienced what was a safe and fun ride. the course isn't done yet. I'm happy wait for the next ride. I am especially grateful to John. Thanks again instructor Matt,Brian,Len,Joel,Otto,Erica and John......,
A great place to learn / improve your motorcycle skills. I highly recommend ProRIDE.
Amazing instructors! I totally recommend. Worth the investment.
Very thorough and detailed instruction, they work very hard to make sure you know what to expect in both real life riding scenarios and the ICBC Road Test. Also, very good value when you consider the amount of time they dedicate to you and the variety of bikes that you can try out during the riding sessions. Highly recommend.
I finished my Survival Rider weekend training last night (the first class of the year), and the whole experience was great! As a middle-aged guy who has lost a bit of his more risk-prone side, I was somewhat nervous to jump on a bike for the first time ever. ProRIDE made this so much easier and enjoyable. The instructors were all approachable, friendly, and really patient in answering questions. You can tell they want everyone to succeed in learning to ride and enjoy motorcycling. John, Brian, Matt (alright meow!), Joel, and the other instructors were really engaging and they kept us laughing through the initial frustration of learning to ride. I am shocked at how much I enjoyed the city ride last night and how confident I felt riding a bike with the group through North Vancouver. I highly recommend ProRIDE to anyone that is considering learning to ride!
Passed my MST. Marty and Adrian were awesome…really helpful and both very patient.
Great experience and worth every penny. Everyone at ProRide was super friendly and professional. The course was very engaging with a strong emphasis on training safe riders and preparing you for the road. Really can't say enough good things about them. Greatly exceeded my expectations of what the course would provide.
Freshly graduated from Pro Rode survival classes-Fun & safe riding. What can I say? DELIGHTFUL, OUTSTANDING & FUN! These guys are Rockstars! Don't even consider going elsewhere, ProRide is the way to..Ride! All instructors are personable, knowledgeable, fun and entertaining! Big shout out to: Bryan & Ryan, Matt, Marty B.I.G., Warren and Joel., They are fantastic with tons of humor and great energy! It was 5 days of pure pleasure to learn from all of them. Highly recommend to future motorcycle enthusiasts. See y'all on the road..vroooom!
ProRide provides a very well structures and well taught course. I had not been on a motorcycle for many years and by the end of the course I was comfortably on the highway. The course takes students through each step of the learning process - it is challenging but the instructors are very supportive. If you want to learn to ride you should take this course.
Great course for beginners. The staff will take you through everything step by step. Matt & Brian are hilarious and make the whole thing fun. Otto is a great instructor that will improve your riding skills. I highly recommend ProRide! ... and you will too ;)
The instructors were top notch and made every effort to provide a first rate experience, while keeping it light and fun for everyone. As someone who has some riding experience (from back in the day), I can honestly say that this course is not only a great refresher, but really should be an absolute must for all riders as it's small price to pay for some important tips that could one day save your life. Thanks!!
I was referred to ProRide from a friend. I am so glad I decided to go with them. Every single instructor here is passionate about students being successful and comfortable on a bike. The past 5 day's spent with ProRide were informative and fun! Thank you to all the instructors and, everyone else at ProRide!
Just passed the road test today! I took the course two years back with Brian, Jen and Matt as instructors. The instructors make the course what it is: truly awesome! I learned so many things and when I talk about it with experienced riders (even 20+ years experience), they still often say "wow, I never knew that!" - another point to make is that ProRide taught me how to ride in packs...most riders never get this training. The practice riding was excellent and they fully prepared me for my skills and road test, both of which I passed with flying colours because of their training and instruction. They also provided me with the bike to use for the road test which is a huge bonus because I didn't have one! Thanks guys! Keep it up! You're who I recommend to anyone wanting to ride. Tip to new riders: Do the course, pay attention, have confidence and most of all have fun. These guys will get you to the end without a doubt.
Proride provides an excellent learning experience; the instructors are patient, well-suited to coaching and thorough.
Can't praise ProRide guys highly enough. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They will provide you with the knowledge and strategies to make you a better and safer rider. I took the course with zero riding experience and passed the road test within a month. They've been there every step of the way with their support and invaluable advice. Thanks everyone for a great learning experience!
I'm a graduate of this very well setup and informative safety course. The instructors are very knowledgable and with that combined with their extensive experience, it makes for a great learning environment. This course saved me in 2 emergency situations last season while riding, and thanks to the training I received, I knew exactly what to do in the heat of the moment, keeping me upright, safe and whole to ride another day :) and ride I do, rain, snow or shine! A BIG Thank You to Brian, Matt and Jen for their endless hard work and dedication to ensuring every graduate rider is prepared, confident and responsible for riding in todays' environments! I definitely recommend this course to everyone interested in learning to ride! 5 Stars!!!
Very professional and thorough - an approachable teaching staff and comprehensive program that covers everything you kneed to know to ride safe and aware.
I took the course originally in 2011 and after a few years of not riding, wanted to do a refresher course this year to just get a bit of confidence back. They had many options for me and I opted for the weekend parking lot skills portion. Every time I have taken this course it translates to me being a better rider and (car) driver. The staff is super supportive, patient and knowledgeable and I wish the course was longer just to interact with them! They really identify where any weaknesses may be and make sure that you overcome them. I highly recommend to all my friends to get their motorcycle training done here as I know that they are fun and fantastic at creating survival riders and when you leave Proride, you know that you will be well-equiped to handle the roads.
Loved my first experience riding motorcycles with these guys!!! ???????????? Instructors are awesome and it makes a difference!!! Thank you!
I cannot express in words how thankful I am to the whole team for making this experience amazing. Fun, encouraging, supportive and I felt safe the whole time. My time at proride was truly life changing. ????????
The guys are Proride are truly passionate folks who put "safety" in to FUN. The fundamentals I learned about riding and most importantly safe ridding can't have any monetary value added to it. They were entertaining, insightful, patient and genuine about not just passing a test but riding smart! Thanks guys and I will reference you anytime to anyone looking to ride or just refresh old skills. Looking forward to catching up with the team and other prorider's in the summer.
These guys are awesome. I went from having never ridden a motorcycle to passing my skills test & riding in traffic after one course. Is recommend these guys to anyone!
The Survival Rider Course was great! Absolutely love it, the classroom sessions, the parking lot training and the amazing evening road rides. All amazing. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and tonnes of fun.
Two months ago, I didn't even know what a clutch is. Now, I am fully licensed motorcycle rider. Thanks PRO RIDE.
Great experience. It was fun and I learned many safety skills. A absolute must for learning to ride a motorcycle. Very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. You will learning what you need to get your motorcycle license.
I highly recommend the Survival Ride Course, my in class instructors Brian and Joel were rock stars and kept a fast and engaging pace. The parking lot guys Matt, Marty and Kevin where awesome. They had plenty of time for us older hesitant novice riders while giving the more experienced rusty riders extra challenges. A great place for novice riders to learn how to ride safely and for others to unlearn bad habits.
The best in Vancouver, no other word! It taught me everything I need to know about riding, and now I'm having so much fun! Thanks ProRide!
If you're looking to get your bike license, this is where you need to go. The instructors make it really fun while at the same time driving home the points that will keep you safe on the road. Also, the skill test is included, which allows you to practice on your own before you go take your road test. Bikes are provided for the course but they also rent out bikes for practice if you don't own your own. Not only that, they provide a bike for you to do your road test and also schedule a practice ride before the exam. I'm genuinely surprised that they don't charge more for this course. An excellent experience from beginning to end!
Great place to get trained. I went in to this course with no riding experience and now I feel like I'm ready to buy a bike and head out on my own. The instructors were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to get your motorcycle training.
The Pro Ride Team was awesome! Your life is worth the investment of the skills you keep forever. After one week of finishing the course I was fully licensed and riding solo!
Pro ride was an awesome experience learning to ride. Brian and Matt we're great teachers, really hammered in the basics but kept it engaging with their antics. I'll definitely be going back for the bike maintenance course.
Hi, I'm Barry. And I just completed my Survival Training with ProRide! If you are thinking about taking to two wheels, this is the place to start. Led by a fun and personable group of instructors, this course sets you up to form good habits and join in the shared enthusiasm for riding. I'd like to thank Brian, Joel, Matt, John and Otto and all the other instructors who helped me through this course.
Fun, informative and takes the scare out of the process. Having these guys show up on test day is fantastic. Having a pre-test road test; bang on! They have a great selections of bikes, great instructors (John seems to have the edge on the rest) and flexible scheduling. This has to be the best in the west.
Well executed training program. John, Matt, Patrick, and Brian were exceptional - they really break down the concepts step-by-step and ensure each student is prepared and confident on the road. Keep up the great work team! Thanks,
Great school. Highly recommend it. Brian was great in the classroom and on the pavement, always keeping things light and funny. Matt and Jenn also were great and contributed a lot to the program. Nice selection of bikes.
I decided to get licensed to ride a street bike and a friend recommended ProRide as THE place learn how to ride safely and proficiently on a motorcycle. I loved the 2 nights of theoretical training in the class with John and Brian BUT the best part was the practical training on the bikes, in the closed off parking lot at CapU. I grew up riding bikes but the class had a mix of all skill levels and I have to applaud the trainers for being so professional and how they made it fun for everyone. I highly recommend this group for training and today I did my pre-icbc-road-test-training and “passed” with flying colours! Thanks again everyone!!! Drive safely!!!
I'm 60 and ready to get rolling again after a long time on just 4 wheels. This training provided everything I needed and WAY MORE. Everyone is highly competent, super friendly, and skilled at helping each person regardless of their learning style or limitations. They go the extra mile for people having difficulties, and also recognize your developed skills and help you build them even further. This is NOT A "CANNED" program although the content is basically the same each time, the difference is in how they work with each individual and their limitations or existing skills. They have been doing this for about 17 years and the value added from this experience is noticeable!
If you've never been on a bike before, the parking lot exercises will frustrate you but you'll learn the basics you need to get out on the road. The stuff you learn in the classroom is 100% necessary for passing your road test AND making you a safe rider. Also, the road rides are great for building confidence in a safe setting. These guys teach great skills and give you the necessary knowledge to get your full license if you're committed to practicing what they teach. The skills I learned with this course allowed me to pass my road test in the first shot.
I had to learn the "introductory" lesson like 7 times, and each time, Brian was sooooo patient and sweet!! The entire team, Matt, Brian, Jenn, they are all rock stars!!! I miss them actually!
I can't say enough positive things a bout the ProRide course and all of the instructors. The training was thorough and so helpful, and the instructors were amazing. They were patient, clear, encouraging, and great teachers...and they made it fun! I am so glad I took the course and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank you!
Highly recommended.
I just finished the course and had an absolute blast doing it. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and super friendly. No question is left unanswered, and their demos are all really well done. Being able to get on a bike and ride around with an instructor helping you out was invaluable, and the road rides you get to do at the end of the course really sealed the deal. If you're thinking about getting your motorcycle license I cannot recommend these guys enough. You will not regret it, and you'll be better off for it.
Why didnt i do this before! What a great experience, the instructors were excellent, detailed, patient, and everyone is improved in such a short period, a sign or quality program and instructors. If you are new to riding, this course is mandatory, do not get on a bike without the ProRide course!
These guys are just exceptional. I was blown away by the Proride team over the past four days. I started out with absolutely no knowledge of motorcycle riding and was just so encouraged by this course. The instructors are really passionate about motorcycles and are excellent teachers. Big shout out to Brian, Joel, Matt, Otto and John,
As former rider in my 20's and 30's it was time to get back into riding again. The instructors at ProRide are fantastic, energetic and love what they do. The roads, traffic and drivers in Vancouver have changed.Taken this course has not only brought back my skills in riding a motorcycle, but also my awareness of traffic and drivers around me using the survival skills taught in this program. I would highly recommend anyone who is new to riding or wants to get back into riding to take this course.
Wow - that's all I can say. I have never sat on a motorcycle in my life and wanted to get into it since my wife rides. She was devastated to hear that in BC, it is not mandatory to take a course before your exam, and advised that I needed to take one. I remember seeing the ProRide group ride up and down my friend's street in their vests night after night, so I looked them up. All of the reviews were like mine, so I figured I would give it a shot. 100 people saying the same thing couldn't be wrong. I signed up for the course and showed up. From this point forward, I was blown away. Not only was I so appreciative of everything I was taught, but it was so awesome to have so many instructors, all with their own personalities. Each of them was patient, positive and downright hilarious. When I started the parking lot day, I figured there was no way I'd ever grasp all this, and 4 days later I was on the highway! I can't thank ProRide enough for teaching me the essentials, as well as the life saving skills that ALL motorcyclists should know. Another bonus was being able to try out a ton of different bike styles to see what I liked. Thanks again, ProRide - see you out there!
ProRIDE's course and training was extremely helpful in going from 0-100 when it comes to riding a motorcycle. They teach a lot of safe techniques and procedures behind riding. Further to this, you actually complete the parking lot skills test with them, and can book your road test faster through their graduate services.
The course was awesome and informative. They used a lot of humour to keep it interesting, and always engaged with every person. They were super supportive, often spotting when someone was overwhelmed. I would recommend this course to anyone!
I could not have asked for a better way to learn to ride a motorcycle. This is a highly experienced team of professional riders that are happy to share their tips with you. A great value for the money.
My experience with PRORIDE has been absolutely fantastic. If you want to learn to ride, come see these guys! They are knowledgeable, patient and very friendly. The PRORIDE instructors know their stuff and teach the foundations of riding and how to be a responsible rider. Take their course, you won’t be disappointed. My motorcycling journey has been a long and difficult one but Brian, John, Otto and Matt (and everyone else there) have been so supportive and encouraging I’d give them 6 stars if I could! They go above and beyond to make sure all their students are equipped with the right tools to ride safely. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve also taken their motorcycle skills upgrade course and I HIGHLY recommend it for riders of all experiences. The course was challenging and at times uncomfortable but I definitely came out of it a better rider. Thank you guys so much! I really couldn’t have done this without you.
An all around comprehensive training. The class is taught around acquiring practical and easy to apply riding fundamentals. The different aspects of safe riding skills are introduced in their most elementary form and then incrementally built up over the duration of the class to form a solid base for an all encompassing survival riding philosophy that should last a lifetime. The sincere drive from all instructors to prepare the students for safe street riding is present throughout the length of the 5 day class. Thanks John, Brian, Otto and Matt for a fantastic experience...
Instructors of ProRide will show and teach you how to do it AND what not to do to stay safe. ProRide Motorcycle Training are definitely professionals. Lots of information packed in the 6 days. Instructors keep it fun and are motivated to keep the students riding. If anybody tells you that you can learn everything and anything on "youtube"... it's a lie. Thanks ProRide.
I have just finished the course at Pro-Ride, and have nothing but great things to say. Brian gave informative, interesting classroom instruction laced with lots of humor. There were many points and ideas I hadn't even considered. The parking lot riding/testing with Brian and Matt was also extremely valuable, humorous and professional. Safety is the number one concern with these folks and it shows. I went from having never sat on a bike to riding confidently. I passed my Skills Test in the lot! The road rides on Mon/Tue with Marcel and Matthew were also fantastic. There are so many safety pointers and critiques they give you on your riding. I will be telling all my friends that are interested in getting a bike to enroll with Pro-Ride. If you want to survive out there...Pro-Ride will help. Thanks guys....keep it up! PS: I will be buying a bike next week!!!
This course was incredibly amazing and awesome that words can't describe the feelings that I had! Thank you to all the instructors you guys rock! I recommend anyone who wants to start riding to take this course.
fantastic course! the experience was fun and educational at the same time. instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. during the parking lot and traffic classes the instructors provided feedback and spent time with each of us individually to ensure we were doing the right things to gain confidence and acquired the skills needed. Thanks! Eddie M.
If you are a new rider I highly recommend this course without reservation. Worth every penny and then some. If I had kids I put them through. If my girlfriend gets an interest I would make her do this course too. Matt, Otto, John and Brian are awesome. Incredible knowledge, experience and humour-looking at you Matt. If you are unsure if you think riding is for you, take this course. This weekend these guys worked with all comfort and experience levels.
If you are considering taking up motorcycle riding then I highly recommend Pro Rides Survival Rider Training course. All the instructors are awesome and very professional. The course teaches you everything you need to know and gets you riding the right way. I was able to pass the ICBC exam on my first attempt and more importantly you learn defensive riding techniques to keep you safe every time you get on a motorcycle.
These guys and girl are awesome. Great customer service, personable and professional. I aced my final road test and I thank them for it. Taught me good habits from the start that stick with you. I cant imagine going for a mb license without taking this course first. Stef
I would recommend anyone who is interested in learning how to become a safe rider and have a fun time while doing it to sign up with pro ride!! They will go above and beyond to make u a good rider and to help u understand things that u may be having trouble with .... ????????two thumbs way up .... Just got my full license April 21/16 and I have pro ride to thank for that ... What are you waiting for ? Give matt or Brian a call and get signed up !
Great people running this place. Very helpful and understanding. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to ride.
Having taken a motorcycle course before, this was by far the best. Great classroom experience, 2 days of slow speed life saving skills in a parking lot, and then 2 days of actual road riding. Invaluable training to gain confidence and survival skills. I highly recommend ProRide
Exceptional people and program. I would highly recommend.
Amazing staff! I didnt know what to expect but by the end of the course I was comfortable riding on my own. Highly recommended!
How much will it cost please?
The team at ProRide are top notch riding experts who teach a balance of riding skills and safety strategies. I was an experienced rider but its been a while since I have been on a bike; over 10 years. I had thought I could get back in the saddle with a rental but a friend recommended ProRide for a refresh. After the refresher program I realized there were some gaps and that I had developed a couple of subtle bad habits. Not only does the saying "you can always improve" ring true, most importantly I learned new safe riding strategies that could be life saving and provide additional confidence for me and my family.
After spending a considerable amount of time researching motorcycle training schools I decided on ProRide. I had high expectations and all of them were exceeded and the course provides great value for the money, well worth it. The instructors were extremely knowledgable and cared about your own experience as a student and a rider. I liked the progressive way the info/skills were delivered so I felt more and more confident on the bike as the days progressed. I highly recommend them and will continue to go on group rides with these hooligans :)
Great instructors and great experience!!!!
So fortunate to have trained with ProRide! Brian is a natural instructor, passionate about bikes and rider safety, he beautifully passed on his knowledge and kept me entertained at the same time, making the on slot of information manageable. Jen is fantastic! Her laid back approach is calming and reassuring. She was my road instructor and her ability to clearly communicate while on the road put me at ease and her skills were impressive. Thanks ProRide for a great experience, I'm practicing the techniques and skills daily.
So glad I took the ProRide course. It was invaluable. The content, the practical experience and the instructors are fantastic!
What a blast ! No need to think or compare other schools. If you considering riding a motorcycle proride is a must. Plus cost is super reasonable. Instructors are high energy and have a ton of knowledge and tips to help you ride. I went in with no experience ever being on a motorcycle and now I can ride alone with confidence. Thank you everyone at proride for the awesome experience.
excellent training program. i feel confident now that i will pass icbc road test the first time. thanks brian, matt and otto. ps. the squirt gun works.
Proride staff teaches riders how to be safe. They do not teach how to “pass” the exam, however if one applies the principles taught in class the exam is no issue. The course starts at a fundamental level and progressively builds upon each lesson. The class bikes are great to learn with, school location is fantastic, road rides are awesome; simply put Pro Ride rocks! Five stars!
Thank you again Matt, Brian, Otto, Jason and Marcel again for the awesome course. Initially I was a little nervous and anxious about riding a motorcycle but those concerns were relatively quickly alleviated by the staff. In 6 days you were able to instill me the philosophy, tactics and strategies how to be a safe rider. I passed the skills test with Brian, Matt and Otto's feedback. The road ride was great, I never thought that I would ever be able to ride 90 km\hr on highway before the course. From the classroom to the parking lot and finally to the rode rides the teaching was progressive and layered so that each skill was related to the next and built upon. The skills were broken down and the emphasis on fundamentals and safety was exemplary. I Also, I found the practical components were very well monitored and supervised as there were enough instructors to ensure feedback was immediate and effective. The consistent message and teaching points from each instructor were very clear and it was very evident that all instructors were very knowledgeable in each area of riding. Beyond the level of professionalism, all the instructors stayed focused but yet kept the mood light, fun and used humor to relax myself and the other students. I will definitely be recommending Pro Ride to my friends and others. Once again, thank-you for emphasizing the safety portion of riding, I will not forget it. Thanx again, guys you were great. I will remember and continue to practice the techniques I was taught.
Far exceeded my expectations, lots taught here that isnt covered in other motorcycle schools. John and Matt did a great job! Highly recommended.
The instructors were thorough and fun. Not a moment wasted. Their training is a necessity for safe riding. I've driven a car without accident for over 20 years, so I think I'm a good driver, but I learnt a ton from these guys about how to move on the street. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Great program with excellent quality instruction and support all the way through from the riding theory in the classroom to learning to handle a bike and preparing for the road test.
Originally I chose ProRide because there was no other alternative to acquire my MSA certificate. I didn't regret my choice and after two days on the parking lot with Matt, Otto and Raymond I was ready to ride on the road. On our final day we rode out to Horseshoe bay through the low road and back via the highway in the pouring rain. I had a great time with ProRide and even got comfortable on a 500cc sportbike by the end of the course. I look forward to riding with you again and I'll be sure to recommend the course to my friends! Cheers, Peter
Just finished the 6 day Survival Rider Program - was amazing from start to finish. Huge thank you to all the instructors - John, Matt, Otto, Brian and Marcel for giving me the confidence I needed to pass the skills test and get out on the road and the foundation of skills to start my new motorcycling life the right way. Highly recommended!
The team at proride will give you what you need to be a confident and safe rider. Every member of their team has something unique to offer and make learning how to ride really fun!
If I could give my experience at ProRIDE more than 5 stars I would. I recently took the Survival Rider Training Program with John, Otto, Brian, and Matt. They were EXCEPTIONAL with their instruction, demonstration, feedback and all with some humour. I'm a brand new rider with NO experience at all (can't drive a stick shift) and over 40 years old. Needless to say, I needed a lot of help. I can't imagine anyone not taking a motorcycle course even if you had some knowledge/experience. I appreciated learning about the safety aspect of riding. Naturally, they differentiated instruction to meet all the needs of the learners and at the end of my last lesson I felt encouraged and inspired to do more riding. I only wish that the training was longer....haha...practice time:)
Great course and the instructors were awesome. I highly recommend PRORIDE to new or experienced riders.
The folks at ProRide know their stuff. The course was a perfect combination of instruction and practice. The instructors clearly enjoy what they do, and it shows. I would not hesitate for a second to do another one of their classes, and would highly reccomend them to anyone. ????????
Fantastic course to train new riders....even has improved my skills as a driver overall. Also had to use the alumni services, which were excellent. Great company to deal with - will refer every chance I get.
If there was a sixth star I would have given it to ProRide. All the instructors are straight out of the top shelf. Knowledgeable, engaging, and committed to what they do. As a student, you get tons of knowledge on motorbikes, techniques on how to ride, practical training, and how to be safe on the road. Don't ride a motorcycle without taking this course, seriously.
What a stellar team here at ProRIDE. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced and they love to share that with you. You can see they are all passionate about riding and it shows when they are teaching you. Safety is their first priority and they have a way of imprinting it into you without you even knowing it's happening. The worst part for me, was that it ended, but as the saying goes, 'All good things must come to an end.' Luckily though, they offer courses to continue your learning. Keep up the great work guys, and I look forward to continuing my learning with you.
This is the most amazing motorcycle school ever. This is my first time going to this school and I knew nothing about how to ride one and these guys taught me everything! They have nice support and enjoy doing what they love
Having never driven a motorcycle before ProRIDE, the practical hands-on component of the course was not without challenges for me; the weekend was filled with stress, tears, and cursing. However, all three road instructors (Kevin, Marty and Matt) were absolutely amazing and very patient managing my numerous “challenges” over the weekend. Each instructor has a unique style and approach to teaching, coaching, explaining, and their combined skills and knowledge make them a fantastic team. It was definitely a steep learning curve, and the most money I’ve ever spent NOT having any fun, but it was worth every penny. I highly recommend the Survival Rider training course. Thank you ProRIDE.
I would strongly recommend ProRIDE to anyone thinking of taking up riding. I was a little nervous going into it, but came out feeling ecstatic about riding and confident in my ability. I actually took ProRIDE's Survival Rider Training course back in 2016, and it was my first ever experience riding a motorcycle. I remember being very pleased with the course and instructors and feeling relatively confident by the end of it. For no reason other than circumstances, I didn't touch another bike again until recently when I was finally able to get a bike of my own, but having only ridden during the one course, and it being such a long time since, I wasn't sure that I would still remember how to. That being said, my concerns quickly disappeared after I sat on the bike and my muscle memory got me going; it was super easy to get back into and felt very natural. This made me even more certain that the decision to learn from ProRIDE was a great one. Thanks again ProRIDE, and I apologise for such a late review!
I recently moved to BC from ON and needed to start the entire license process from scratch here. I have taken an equivalent course to Pro Rides Survival Rider course in Toronto and I cannot tell you how much better Pro Rides was. The teachers were awesome in every way. The course was very flexible around my tough schedule and I felt that it prepared me properly for the tests. It really was a very positive experience. You wont beat it.
Really happy I took this course. A lot of useful information and strategies, and all the instructors (John, Bryan, Matt, Marcel, Otto) were patient, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. They offer different bikes to suit your needs, and opportunity to obtain theoretical, parking lot, and street traffic experience in a compact course. Definitely recommend if you're starting out or just refreshing your skills.
I can't say enough great things about this company. I did the survival rider course and honestly the value you get from that package is unbelievably good. I just completed my ICBC road test, and I felt that the knowledge I was prepared with from day one of classes right through to meeting up with Brian at the pre-road test check-up was invaluable. I've been dir biking for a few years, but would still recommend the school to anyone looking to get their MC license, brush up on their skills or even just practice/rent bikes from. WOULD RECOMMEND INSTANTLY.
Awesome experience, great instructors and had an absolute blast!! I was very experienced with dirt bikes before this but i still learned a ton. I would definitely recommend ProRide to any rider no matter your skill set.
You guys rock! I have only good things to say about this course and all of the instructors. Anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle should head your way. Thanks for the amazing experience and keeping us safe on the road. Respect! Stoked!
I'll first start by saying as a petite female, I was quite nervous about learning to ride a motorcycle. That changed pretty quick once I met everyone at Proride!! Brian is hilarious, full of energy and made the theory portion of proride a ton of fun! There was never a dull moment learning in the parking lot with Brian and Matt. You guys rock and thank you for making me feel sooo comfortable despite all my swearing! Haha. Matthew and Marcel were the instructors on the road rides and their calm approach and laid back personalities were very reassuring. I would highly recommend Proride to anyone looking to learn to ride or riders that want a refresher. It was an amazing experience!
Excellent course, excellent instructors, I've learned so much. Thanks!!
Highest possible recommendation for ProRide. I had never sat on a motorcycle before taking their program. I now have my license and a motorcycle and the confidence to ride it SAFELY . Tremendous support all the way, friendly and fun. From a more senior graduate, Thank you Brian, John, Matt, Marcel. Otto, Patrick ....... everyone on the ProRide Team!
The survival rider course was excellent! The tips and lessons provided by the instructors were very helpful and made a first time rider like myself feel comfortable on a bike right from the start. John, Brian, Matt, Otto, Matt P. and Marcel all made the experience very enjoyable, informative and memorable.
The Survival Rider course was an awesome experience! Thanks PROride!
Thanks for helping me to get my class 6 license in a very shot period of time I had before my learners license expire. Kudo's to bryan and team for the amazing program. You guys are awesome.
Amazing teachers and lessons. The skills will be with me for life and make me feel secure when riding. I couldn't imagine riding a motorcycle without taking the course. Instructors are fun but also serious. Its been less than two weeks since I graduated and I have already rode 1000 km
Great course!
Just completed a great weekend on the ProRide Survival Training course. It was fantastic from start to finish - professional but more importantly fun too. The parking lot sessions where fun, interactive and with plenty hands on bike experience. Matt, Marty & Warren were awesome throughout with patience and a smile helping us all get on two wheels safely! We did Traffic 1 yesterday (I was in Marcel's group), I drove a 750cc Harley (a lifelong bucket item) and couldn't believe that after just 2 days I had the confidence to do so - that's down to the team at ProRide. I quickly realized that going at speed is fairly manageable on a bike, the real issues come at slow speed and maneuvering - which is what this course is all about. So glad I took it and would recommend to any new starters!
ProRide should be your first choice if looking for a motorcycle training school. I completed my course a couple of weeks ago and highly recommend ProRide. Brian, Matt and Otto are awesome. They very professional and knowledgeable and taught me how to ride a motorcyle in a relaxed and fun enviroment. Don't look any further than ProRide for a motorcycle training school!
I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Matt, Brian, Jen, Otto and Marcel - all were incredibly helpful and super knowledgable. They give you so much info on what to do/not to do, provide tons of practice time, build your confidence and give you constant feedback on how you are doing. It was a great week, made some new friends, learned a ton. If you are a learning to ride or just want a refresher, use these guys.
The ProRide Survival Rider Class was a fantastic experience! The instructors each had their own personality and style that made learning fun, educational and safe. I highly recommend this team.
I took the Pro Ride course with a friend in June 2015 after deciding to finally get my motorcycle licence. We both had a great time with the other people in the class. I bought a bike shortly after taking the course and I passed my ICBC road test this week. I have put almost 2000km on my bike already. The instruction from Brian, Matt and Jen was always professional and hugely informative, and a lot of fun. The classroom instruction was full of valuable tips for anticipating possible dangers and riding safely. The parking lot practice and road rides were gradual and ideal for riders of all levels. The ProRide team were very helpful at all stages- including the practice road test, and they even come to assist you with advice during your ICBC Road Test. I give them my highest recommendation. If you are considering getting your motorcycle license- give them a call. THEY TRULY CREATE SURVIVAL RIDERS.
I came into the survival riders course not knowing how to even start a motorcycle. With the awesome experience and knowledge of the instructor's, I was able to learn how to ride in just 2 days. Big shout outs to Brain, Roy, Joel, Matt, Otto, and Marcel. Thanks for everything, you guys are truly the best. ProRIDE lives up to it's name and reputation. Highly recommended to anyone who has motorcycle experiance to advancand their skills and to those who haven't been on a motorcycle ever!! Moe
Great experience over all! The instructors were very informative and made the course a lot of fun! It's designed to prepare you from the first time you sit on the bike until you pass your road test. Worth every penny!!
Cannot say enough good things about ProRide. From the moment I first called to inquire about their services to the moment that I completed my first road ride, this was a great experience. They are professional, efficient, and make learning to ride a motorcycle fun - even when it's frustrating. I would recommend ProRide to riders at all levels.
I had so much fun! Amazing instructors and great sense of humor. I highly recommend ProRide. It was worth every penny. You won't regret it.
I had a fantastic experience with the Pro Ride team and consider their course to be money very well spent! I really do feel remarkably equipped now as a Survival Rider!.Brian's classroom sessions are packed with crucial information and delivered in a way that makes four hours pass like just one. On Skills Test day Brian provided the perfect balance between discipline and friendly support. Day One on the lot, Jen's approach to instruction and coaching was great for building our skills and confidence; she was fantastic at accurately pointing out what each of us need to work on. On the road rides she was a star, inspiring confidence, steadiness and ease. The follow-up support of a refresher/pre-test ride and a cheerleading presence on test day were invaluable. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!!!
The instructors are excellent. A balanced mix of serious skills and knowledge combined with humor and an easy going relaxed environment and patience in which to learn how to safely ride. I enrolled in there course starting on the 6th of August and was told the earliest I could get in to do my road test through ICBC would be late October due to limited road test space at ICBC. I was asked if I would liked to be notified if there was any cancellations I maybe able to get in earlier, sure! So two weeks after starting the course I passed my road test. There is no way I would have felt comfortable or even though possible that in a couple weeks I would go from thinking about riding to being confident, have my own bike and a full license. Special thanks to Matt, Brian, Marcel and Matthew.
Recently completed survival training. Instructors very knowledgeable, patient and work hard to foster a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Excellent course for new riders or experienced riders looking to brush up on skills. Highly recommend. Had a blast! Justin
I did the survival rider course recently and had a fantastic experience! One of the best learning environments that I've been a part of, all thanks to the staff. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and personable, using humour as well as an innate understanding of people to make everyone's experience positive and comfortable. You will learn the skills to ride safely and be prepared to venture out on the roads on your own. Safety is drilled into you and you leave the class knowing that, while you now have a good foundation of skills, you're not an expert and will be learning for life! Was pleasantly surprised to hear about additional services offered to grads to further support their journey as a rider.
I took the course in April 2015 and being a new rider it met and exceeded all my expectations. Worth every penny. Instructors are great, all of them. Matt (both Matt's), Jen, Brian, Marcel, they all have their own style, all great. The course is really intensive. Two 4 hour classes of theory made as fun as they can be by Brian, with tons of great content that can save your life down the road (literally down the road). Parking lot days are also intensive and demanding in a very good way. Instructors emphasize a lot on good technique and not developing bad habits, again, life saving skills. Finally, the rides on the two final days in traffic, really helpful, lots of good guidance, and plenty of time to start feeling comfortable on the bike around traffic. I'm very happy of having spent the money and I feel way more confident now to go and get my motorcycle to enjoy BC roads. If you're considering it, don't hesitate anymore, go take this course.
This is hands down the best school for riders! the staff are amazing and fun to work with and they really care! ????
