Honestly the best driving school I can recommend, the company was able to pick me up with a car and give me a one hour lesson and drop me off to icbc with another car waiting for me, they were on time and super polite and super helpful, I’ve never had any other driving school experience and I passed with only a one practice, I highly recommend this company and I wish everyone else best of luck with their tests. Fantastic service. As a seasoned driver transferring from another country I took a couple of lessons to get familiar with the area around the ICBC test centre and I also used the road test package so I could have access to a vehicle during the ICBC examination. I practiced with Omar and he is a really good and patient teacher. His approach to teach me was very methodical and structured. He kept a list of all things he have already taught me and things where i am not doing good and slowly worked on them. In this way, he increased my confidence in driving while targeting one aspect at a time. In the initial few classes, he focused more on me handling the car and once i was comfortable with the car, he helped me to read and follow Road signals and rules. Sometimes when i was feeling bad about my driving skills, he inspired me with his positive talk as well. When i finally passed the test after 10 classes, I could see he was as happy as I was. Overall the service was amazing and i loved the learning experience with Omar.

I took a refresher course of 90 mins, on the day of the road test. Although the duration was short, but Omar (instructor) was to the point in explaining the do's and don'ts. I am so very glad I took lessons with GloDA. Sonia was very helpful in scheduling lessons and recommending packages, and Sanad was an incredible teacher. He is calm, encouraging, funny, and so so helpful. I learned so many tricks to help with my test and am 100% an all-around better driver because of the lessons with Sanad and GloDA. After failing my N test multiple times, I decided to take lessons with GloDA and passed my first test after the lessons. :D I definitely recommend taking at least a few lessons and then if you don't have a car renting from GloDA and having the 60 minute warm-up before the test. Go with GloDA!

Best driving school in Greater Vancouver. I was so stiff and nervous in the beginning! 10 minutes into the first lesson I was driving as if there’s no tomorrow ???? I literally drove down Hastings in my first lesson. CRAZY! My instructor Omar is very very patient and took me over the same technique like 20 times. He teaches in a fun way that will definitely stick. 1 class with Omar is like 5 classes with ANYBODY else. Very very fast responses. Thank you Sonya for arranging my lesson schedule. So impressed!

I took driving lessons here for my road test in the month of July, and thanks to the learning I got from Global Driving Academy, I passed the test in my first attempt! As I came from a country with the driving wheel on the right hand side, it was a little difficult for me initially. But I'm really happy with how the overall learning experience was with Global Driving Academy instructors. My main learning classes were with Shailen and Omar. Both of them are excellent teachers when it comes to teach about driving, and they both have their unique style of teaching. Sometimes it might feel they're very strict, but trust me, that's what helped me to be better driver and pass the test. My advice would be to be receptive about their feedback and improve upon it. Good luck with your driving and test!

I was starting from zero driving experience. I signed up for several lessons and a road test with the school and had a very patient and respectful instructor (Sanad) who taught me everything I needed to drive with confidence and within a few weeks I was able to drive safely even downtown. During my road test at Point Gray I sadly missed one sign and failed the test because of that. I signed up for one more lesson with the school to prepare for my second road test (in Burnaby). It was last minute so a different instructor (Omar) showed me all tricky spots in the area and also fine tuned me driving. I passed the road test and got my N today. Two months ago I didn't know how to drive. Now on the road I feel confident and also safe. I highly recommend this driving school!

Amazing service. Flexible staff, thoughtful instructors and very focused on good driving behaviors and passing the test itself. Instructors I had the good fortune to have Sanad, Mahdi and Omar as I booked my lessons quite late prior to the test. Very clear learnings and instructions that helped me move from completely unlikely to pass the test to passing the test within 2 weeks. Admin Team Sonya was super helpful and flexible, even though I missed updating them with my new address when I had moved (they remembered me from a previous set of lessons - prior to my test that ended up getting cancelled due to Covid in 2020). Always checking in and sending out good advance notice for the each session to make sure I'm prepared.

These guys are AMAZING...I had my N for years because I am so afraid of tests and I honestly thought I would never get my class 5. After my first refresher lesson, the instructor Senan put me at ease and made it fun too. I honestly made really bad habits driving and the instructor was able to help me correct the behaviors and give me tactical tips to not forget, I passed the test with flying colors. I have nothing but good things to say about this driving academy. I've had 10-12 lessons with Omar and a few with Sanad prior to giving my class 5 driving test last weekend. Which I passed!! Omar and Sanad are both fantastic instructors, and Sonia was wonderful to coordinate my entire schedule with. I wouldn't have passed my class 5 with such ease without them. Omar put the confidence in me from the start and told me to drive from the get go, although I was really scared. When I made mistakes, he found interesting analogies and stories which would help me remember and avoid the same mistakes again. He was super patient throughout and he's very thoughtful. Each lesson, we covered a structured set of things which would be needed in order for me to pass the exam and we mastered each aspect (turns, lights, parking) before moving onto the next lesson. Even with the few lessons I had with Sanad, he is super knowledgeable and put the confidence in me before my class 5 exam. Lastly, Omar helped me warmup before my class 5 exam at 7 am in the morning and I understood that the instructors really care about the students! Overall, I highly recommend this school! (It's one of the only ones which will pick you up from your home and drop you back as well!). Omar and Sanad are fantastic and I'm sure you can pass your N or Class 5 with this academy!

Where do I begin with them ! The team at Global Driving is nothing but the best. Let me start with Sonia, she would probably be your first point of contact, she has been an absolute gem of a person, I booked my lessons and even the test at the very last minute , but she was very accommodating and arranged for lessons and the car for the test. Next is Sanad, he is a no nonsense instructor. He might come off as blunt but if you get to know him , he is a very chill dude. To the point , and his tips helped me big time during the test. Last but not the least, my man Omar. A great instructor and an absolute rockstar. After my lessons I consider him more of a friend. He will ease you into the lessons and has some great tricks and tips up his sleeve which will definitely help you during the test. Sanad was patient and a great coach throughout all my lessons ensuring I was succeeding in my driving skills and building confidence. Fantastic company! I booked four lessons for my 17yr old daughter as she just needed some fine tuning and needed a vehicle to do the road test in. She passed the North Vancouver road test with no problems at all! She loved driving their vehicle compared to driving our older family car. She always looked forward to her lessons with Omar. He's funny and a wonderful instructor. Booking was super simple. Sonia always replied back to my e-mails quickly. I got one hour warm up+ use of the car for the test. My instructor’s name was Omar and within that short time he gave me so much good tips that I passed the test on the first time. He was also very friendly, arrived on-time. The car was very clean, and mirrors and back camera was very handy for parking test.

I decided to take several several lessons before the class 5 road test and chose Global Driving Academy based on the reviews here. And it was really a good choice because of the professionals who work here. Sonia helped me to select the best schedule for me. I took two 90-minute lessons and 45-minute warm-up before test with Mahdi and I really appreciate his help in preparation to the test. He showed me some peculiar places in the exam area, taught me several useful things and helped to improve my driving skills. He is really great instructor! Also they have very nice and new Toyota Corolla cars which is a real pleasure to drive. So no surprise that I passed my class 5 road test on the first try! Thank you so much!

I am in my 40s and driving has always been very hard for me, I had zero experience. Today, after a few weekends of learning with Omar and Mahdi I passed my test! . I cannot recommend them enough. My schedule is very difficult and Sonia made sure to find a time that worked for me. Omar and Mahdi are incredible instructors, patient, logical and truly care for the students. One of the things I like the most is the approach to not memorizing things just because but learning why they have to be that way, so much easier to remember! I like the fact they have a tablet and drew for me things when I didn't understand them and explained things in different ways until I did. Before my test today, I drove with Omar, I cannot thank him enough for giving me the calm and confidence I needed to pass this test. If I had to do a driving test again, I would go with them. I will be recommending them to everyone who wants to hear. Also, my score was almost perfect, only a generic observation, that was all. I passed with flying colours! I approached the Global Driving Academy Ltd to explore whether they can accommodate my hectic schedules and my inexistent driving skills and prepare me for my Class7 driving license. I did never drive anywhere else before. From the first call, Sonia was an amazing professional, kind, accurate and accommodating. She worked out an outstanding schedule for me. I requested form Sonia that she makes sure that she assigns me with the same teacher so that they can consistently assess the progress in my driving skills or the lack thereof. And then came the discovery, that is Sanad, my instructor. I did not tell Sanad anything about what I do for a living. I wanted to enjoy being a student and absorb all I can learn to be a safe driver. Sanad was an outstanding instructor, with a natural talent for teaching. He built my driving skills bottom up, starting by the turns, many methods for space management, speed management, scanning, communication, maneuvers, to perfecting all types of parking. He was informative, guiding with clear advise and assessment of progress. I was blown away. I succeeded to obtain my Class7 driver license, and I can drive safely, carefully and with confidence. I cannot THANK YOU ENOUGH SANAD and SONIA.

What can I say about global driving academy that isn’t already said ? I took about 10-15 classes in total with some excellent instructors. Sanad established an incredibly solid foundation as I learnt from him for the majority of the classes. Great teacher and person. Would highly recommend him as an instructor for any first time learners/drivers. I also learned from Sundip for a brief period and picked up some valuable pointers. And it was great to have Omar on the day of the test to give me the confidence to get to the finish line. The instructors were all incredibly professional, punctual and I always felt safe in the car with them. I would be remiss if I don’t mention Sonia who so seamlessly setup the entire operation of booking classes and was so gracious and understanding when we had to reschedule. Cannot recommend this driving school enough. I had failed my test twice and tried two different driving schools before starting at global. Global had the best instructors who were very patient and explained things clearly. They asked me what I wanted to work on most before each lesson. I took almost 12-14 90 minute classes. Once you book the classes, they pick you up at your pick-up location in downtown Vancouver. Omar was my instructor for most of my classes. Very professional and friendly instructor. I took some classes with Sanad, also my final class right before my Road test that I passed was with him. His tips were the most helpful for passing the exam.

Once I moved to Canada, I faced a lot of issues in getting used to driving here. My instructors Omar and Sanad did an excellent job in teaching the good driving habits and getting rid of my bad ones. Also Sonia was really proactive in arranging the driving lesson. Since I was driving in India for a few years, it was not instinctive for me to adjust to driving here. But Omar and Sanad were extremely patient and practiced the same lessons again and again till I mastered them. Also they are very familiar with the area where I took the road test. So I was driving in the same routes the driving evaluator would take me and got accustomed to all the tricky spots. Omar and Sanad left no stone unturned in preparing me for the driving test. I would highly recommend Global Driving Academy for anyone looking for their driving lessons.

Very good and professional service. Booking the class was pretty easy. Mahdi, my instructor understood my driving ability and trained me accordingly. He gave useful feedback after each session. He helped me calm down before the road test and gave me confidence which helped me pass the test in first attempt.
