I recently passed my class 7 test using Atlas driving and would highly recommend them to other learner drivers. I had the pleasure of driving with two of their instructors as I moved house and both were knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Their approach to providing feedback about what worked and what didn't during each lesson really allows you to focus on the areas you need to improve, and is an extremely effective way of building confidence. Their standards for safety are best in class and they have really set me up to be a good driver on the roads. If you need a driving school these are your instructors.

Would highly recommend! I used Atlas Driving School back in '08 when I got my licenses and just took a class with them again tonight for a manual transmission lesson. Felt anxious going in and my instructor knew exactly what I needed to make me feel comfortable and explained it in a way I could understand. I highly recommend Atlas! Before signing up for lessons with them, I failed the road test 3 times, even though I had perviously received lessons from someone else. I had one lesson and a road test booked. In the lesson I had several key areas that I need to work on pointed out and was given lots of practical instruction. When it was due to snow the morning of my road test they accommodated a date change, no questions asked. On the morning of my road test Keyvan took me around the neighbourhood and covered about 90% of the route my proctor took. Passed easily and was happy with my choice of driving instructors.

I can't recommend Atlas Driving School enough! I'm 20 years old and I put off getting my license for years because I have really bad test anxiety, and I never felt ready to get behind the wheel. My instructor Sean was so perceptive of my concerns and he thoroughly prepared me for my road test so I would have nothing to worry about. He's an exceptional instructor; always on time, very patient, funny, understanding, and kind. It was a pleasure getting to know him during our lessons, I looked forward to driving with Sean every week! Atlas driving school was very polite giving me a spot even though I called them kind of last-minute. Before purchasing lessons from Atlas Driving School, I previously had two other driving instructors. When I began my classes with Atlas, I immediately noticed an improvement in my performance. Keyvan reminds me of the Persian uncle I never had. He was easy to talk to and urged me to make my own judgement calls to build my confidence on the road. I then started classes with Kesh who helped me pass my exam. I really do suggest that you make an effort to talk to Kesh - he’s a super nice and hilarious guy, and can make learning a fun experience. Aside from being personable, he knows all the tricks and curveballs that may be thrown at you during the driving exam. Atlas Driving School is a family-owned business, which translates into the energy of the instructors and sets it apart from other companies. I felt like I was a part of the family, which made it bittersweet when I got my license. Both Kesh and Keyvan made me feel super comfortable and I will definitely be recommending Atlas to my friends and family.

I received 4 lessons from Atlas Driving school. My first lesson was with Rez. I found him quite rude and inconsistent. He would reschedule our lessons without ample notice and when I asked him to communicate clearly with me, he called to argue with me. I let the Atlas head office know and they did not even apologize. Atlas Driving school acts like they are doing you a favour when you're the paying customer. My next three lessons were with Minoo and she was very helpful and kind. I ended up passing my test. I would have given Atlas 1 star but Mino is the only reason I would recommend Atlas Driving school. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

First of all, I would like to thank Kesh for being so patient with me and teaching me the ropes to drive manual, he was very professional, friendly and was a good person to be beside while driving because his communication and enthusiasm made it so it wasn't like one of those boring, awkward kind of drives. Rez was the best instructor I have had. When I first sat in the car, I had no idea what I was doing. My first question to him was “where do I look as I am driving?” but a month later, thanks to his instructions and tips, I passed my N test in the first attempt! He was really good at explaining the methods and extremely patient as I tried to learn how to be a safe driver, making good decisions on the road. If I made a mistake, he made sure we went over that topic a few times till I got it right and then we would revisit it during the next few lessons, until I perfected it. This really worked well for me, especially with all the diagrams he would draw so I could visualize the scenario better. Thank you Rez for also being so accommodating with my schedule as well ensuring I practiced regularly and thoroughly. The power training over the last month really paid off! I had my class 5 driving test and I went for the 45 minute warm up + Driving test package. Kevyan was my instructor for the warm up. He made me do a simulation which was very similar to my driving test experience. He asked me the same questions which my instructor did as well. After the warm up he gave me about 10 minutes of feedback including important things I was not doing well and he had cards to show all the intersections nearby that might be tricky. I passed in my first attempt. Thanks for the help Atlas. Great instructions Kevyan. And they gave me a gift for passing as well :).

I just passed the road test today and I can't recommend enough Atlas Driving School. The whole experience was great, but my instructor Minoo was outstanding. She is a special soul that cares so much about her students. She kept me calm and confident, so when I drove today, I could hear her voice in my head "shoulder check!". Thank you, Minoo! Ideal school if you are planning to give a test in the Vancouver area. In my opinion, one should take the experienced driver package with the hour warm up even if you have had prior driving experience (in Canada or abroad). You will get an "ideal driver" rating on your test-sheet if listen to the instructor and take the test at the specified time proposed by your instructor (do not rush to give it on a earlier date unless very urgent). Chris is a fantastic instructor. He is very knowledgeable, motivational and supportive. He did a great job at not only helping me pass but becoming a confident and well-rounded driver all around.

Friday August 28 ,2020 I book a class 5 road test and got a spot for Monday August 31 in Point Grey was not my plan. With only two days gap and no preparation was really stress me out ,but I have no choice because my N License will expired on Sept. 12,2020 .Well between ready or not I pushed myself and not to cancel my road test.Instead I book a 90 minutes lesson with Atlas Driving school on Sunday, August 30 ,2020 .On Monday August 31 , I came to ICBC 45 minutes early because I know it will be line up ,but because I was early so the road test start early as well.The test itself only took approximately 30 minutes and I got an amazing result, I passed with no mistake at all .Beside that the examiner gives me a wonderful comment for my shoulder checking , scanning ,and maintenance speed. Atlas is the best and I highly recommend to everyone who need to take a full lesson ,or refresh your driving skill call Atlas Driving school . Thank you Atlas for helping me out to get my class 5 license.

I did a lesson with Atlas in Burnaby but it wasn’t very encouraging unfortunately. As an experienced driver with a license from a different country, currently living in Vancouver, I needed just a brush up lesson with focus on road signs and an overview of the area to gain confidence for my road test in Burnaby. The instructor did take me around but he focused more on my driving skills in kind of a condescending way I have to say more then showing me some tricky areas in the neighbourhood as requested. For instance, he called me paranoid for staying too long waiting on a stop sign when I wasn’t comfortable to jump into the intersection. Anyway, I took another lesson with a different school after that and personally felt much more comfortable. I was explained in detail every possible scenario for multiple high risk intersections/tricky areas by the new instructor, went through a much bigger portion of Burnaby during that 1 h and passed my road test today.

I tried first a private instructor and I didnt have a great experience, he made me think I was probably too old for this. But then I found ATLAS DRIVING SCHOOL and I decided to try it because to be honest, it was one of the few academies that offer affordable packages (you can buy one class only, and I wanted that in case I didn't like it again). I am SO GLAD I found them, since day one Tony was super helpful, nice, and most important, made me feel confident. I immediately book more classes and I progressed quickly. My instructor, Kourosh, delivered on all of his promises including his assurance that I would be fully trained and ready to hit the road driving manual after three lessons. Kourosh maintained a calm demeanour throughout the lessons which helped me to relax and absorb the information more efficiently. No one wants to be trapped in a car with a stranger for an hour, but Kourosh made it feel like you were just taking a drive with a good buddy! Atlas also impressed me with their high cleaning standards. The car was fully cleaned and sanitized before and after use, hand sanitizer was provided and masks were required for both student and instructor. Overall a great experience! Ive had a crippling fear of driving for about 10 years, finally at age 26 I made it my goal to get my license and overcome my issues. My instructor Chris was absolutely fantastic, I could have never done it without him. I can't recommend Atlas enough, worth every cent I spent on my lessons. I signed up for 15 lessons but felt confident about 5 lessons in, Chris was quick to teach me all the skills needed to pass my N test.

I am not the type of person who writes reviews but I had such a positive experience with the people here that I am writing one. I was referred to Sean by a friend and started learning from the basics a few months ago. Sean is a very experienced and perceptive of my mistakes/bad habits. He is humrous and respectful when comes to communicating with students so I never felt like being called out or put on the spot. Also, Kia (the Office Manager) has been friednly and helpful with accomodating my various requests since day 1. I would definately recommend the school to someone I know. I had a great experience with atlas driving school! Kesh was my instructor for manual and he is very friendly, nice, knowledgeable and helpful. His explanations/ tips are very thorough and easy to understand. He always answered any questions I had and helped build my confidence in being able to drive manual within 5 hours. I had a great experience with Atlas Driving School! I booked a couple of lessons before my class 5 exam and also used their car for my test! Keyvan was a great instructor who helped me realize my strengths and weaknesses as a driver. I have taken lessons with other schools in the past and I can say that this has been my most positive experience. After a few lessons I improved my driving sense and passed my class five gracefully! Our experience at Atlas Driving School has been fantastic! We knew our daughter would require an instructor with a specific style and personality and so Sean at Atlas Driving School came highly recommended by a number of our family and friends. He did not disappoint! Sean is knowledgeable, easy going, funny, always on time, and took the time to answer any questions we had. He also provided feedback after each lesson which allowed us to feel included in the process of our teenager learning to drive! We very much appreciate that! It was also nice to have Sean answer questions about the rules of the road that we either didn’t know or had forgotten. Our daughter passed her road test on the first try and couldn’t be happier! I absolutely loved my experience with the Atlas Driving school. I called them on a Friday night with my test on the next Monday and they fit me in and were very accommodating to my schedule. Kesh was a great instructor. He was patient and thoroughly explained the rules of the road and tips and tricks. He was very prepared and explained different situations on a board and made sure I understood. In general a very positive experience and definitely recommend.

Minoo was my instructor and I passed first try in point grey. She’s tough but the test was easy thanks to her! However one thing I’d say is it is quite expensive. Wish they’d create a student discount or something.

Michelle was a fantastic instructor. She provided useful and informative instruction on driving generally, while also ensuring everything was tailored to my skills (or lack of). I PASSED FIRST TIME!!! I had the absolute best experience with Atlas! I would 100% recommend their services to anyone looking to get their licence in Vancouver. I was a very nervous driver due to previous bad experience, my instructor Kesh was super helpful, knowledgable and calm. He conducts the lesson as a trial test and scores you as the test taker would, that way you know what you need to work on as homework. As someone who gets very nervous around tests or exams this helped me minimise my nerves for the real deal. He had the confidence and trust in me and my driving that I didn’t have. Having him believe in me when I didn’t in myself was honestly such a huge boost to my confidence. He never made me feel like I was a “bad driver” or acted angry when I made mistakes (which I definitely did!). He instead calmly helped me to recognise what I did and what I needed to do to correct my mistakes and get out of a situation safely. He even gave me advice on how to book my exam and offered a great deal on packages of lessons. To be really honest it was bitter sweet to pass first time as I had come to really enjoy my lessons and the experience or driving with someone so knowledgable who I learnt a lot from. Will definitely come back for my “N” and maybe even try stick. Thank you Kesh for helping me progress through this major milestone, I now have a lot more opportunities, personal and professional because I HAVE MY LICENCE!! Woo!!

I had completely forgotten I had moved up my road test, called Monday Atlas was able To fit me in for last minute lessons just in time for my Test the next day afternoon, the owner was very courteous. Michelle is very patient and knowledgeable with some great tips, I will use when driving from now on. GOT My Class 5 road test PASS today! Very helpful staff. Spoke to Kesh and he gave very warm welcome and accommodating the arrangements with flexibility. Assigned Mitchell as my instructor who has been the savior for me. She worked to perfection. Marked me down on things I need to improve and gave me the better understanding of road system in Point Grey. Very genuine and caring team. Cooper picked me up for the exam and gave me a tour around. Minoo is nothing short of an angel. As a 38 year old with almost no driving experience I was intimidated by the drivers learning curve and lessons. Minoo always made me feel calm and comfortable, and stressed safety first. Her 13 year experience is evident: she is absolutely a connoisseur in her profession. Saying she has eyes on the back of her head is no exaggeration. She catches even the tiniest of errors, but always teaches and corrects in a positive, uplifting manner. The skills I have learned will last a lifetime, and were well worth every penny. Still in shock, but I passed on the first driving exam.

GOT MY CLASS 5 DRIVING LICENSE ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT!!! One of the best decisions I made was choosing ATLAS DRIVING SCHOOL over others. Mr. Rez my driving instructor thought me everything I need to know about driving here in BC. Not only he is very precise with his teachings, he's also very professional with his approach. The thing that I admire most about him is that he will tell you frankly your mistakes and provides you with a solution on how to improve them so you don't do the same mistake over again. He will say it in a very nice way but it will stick to your mind all the time. I am very thankful to Mr. Rez he made me a better and a safer driver not only for myself but also for my family and to the people around me. On the test day itself Mr. Kev the owner and founder of Atlas himself helped me prepare and even went the extra mile and provided me an hour of driving warm up before my exam. I mean who does that nowadays, that shows that the company ( Atlas Driving School ) is very serious and cares about their students.
