Fairy was an amazing instructor who prepares you thoroughly within the ten hours of in-car experience, where the actual G2 test feels like a breeze once completed. At Road Aware driving school the in class driving lessons were useful and the teacher was very sincere and warm.The lessons were very helpful and gave a lot of attention to the fact that how driving safely is extremely important. The virtual classes and in-car lessons that I took from Road Aware driving school were very thorough and covers everything that one needs to know about the rules of the road and developing good driving habits. The hands on experience when driving with the instructor will help prepare anybody for a road test or learning in general with the great formulas and tips she provides. RA provided me with a fantastic instructor who not only taught me everything I needed to know about the test, but also made me feel comfortable on the road in many conditions. They had many different methods to help you understand major driving skills (parallel parking, three point turn, switching lanes and reverse parking), so they catered to all types of learners. Mr. Shah did an excellent job helping me to pass the G2 test then the full G in a short period of time and from the first attempt. It was very challenging for me because I used to drive in another country and it was not easy to get rid of bad habits but he did a great job to help me drive according to the Canadian rules in quite a short period. One very important thing about Mr. Shah is that he is not just trying to help you only pass the test but he is also teaching you on how to become a safe and responsible driver. I signed up for Road Aware Driving School because of a friend's recommendation. They said that it was absolutely the best place to take driving lessons. They could not have been more correct. While I was at Road Aware I made new friends and even met some old ones. The class environment is friendly, accepting, and thoughtful. The in car lessons were very informative and they were the main reason why I passed my G2 test. Finally, the teacher is the best person you could ever have teaching you how to drive. Their knowledge of the rules of the road is rivaled only by their kind and forgiving attitude. Road Aware is by far the best place to go to learn how to drive.

Great Driving School! Way better than other driving school I had experience with! My instructor was very cooperative and helpful. The best thing about my instructor was he came up with different techniques to help me learn parallel parking, front parking, reverse parking, and 3 point turn. We read the reviews and talked to the instructor/owner about their packages, signed up for lessons to prepare for the upcoming road test in December. After paying for Red package(which was recommended as the best and taken by many of their students - but more expensive), gradually things started to unravel. 1. We were told that the parents have to drop the kids off at a designated location or take the public transit to their office to start the lessons and also be picked-up thereafter. Their packages clearly state free pick-up from home/work/school. Since that will be very inconvenient for our schedule and wanted to cancel. But was offered only $350 back before starting any in-car lessons after paying $895+tax for their RED package. (Once you pay the fees, don't have second thoughts on getting out!). 2. Next surprise was that we were told that the lessons are to be taken in 2 hour allotment at a time, not like 1 hour as advertised on their website. The instructor can also apparently take 15 minutes break as they please. (You will be at their mercy as they make up the rules as they see fit). 3. Final straw was that we were notified in early December that all staff at Roadaware is on vacation starting December 15th and can NOT bring their car to the Road Test as discussed at the time of the sign-up. We clearly discussed our needs upfront as we could only get the road test appointment closer to the holidays due to COVID etc. 4. Owner claimed that eventhough the RED package costs more than the GREEN package(only $795) it doesn't include Road Test rental and we had to buy an additional package (BLUE) for another $350 to take their car for road test which is not available until January 15th of 2022 as she/staff are going on vacation. She recommended the RED package to us knowing that we had a road test booked at late December and needed the car for test. (Don't ever buy the RED package - it is a money grab). The person running this operation is totally an unscrupluous individual and you can NOT rely on her word for anything(get everything in writing if you want them to comply with anything). We found that she would make up 'facts' and hard to have them fulfill their commitments as agreed after you make the payments. I just wanted to forewarn other parents contemplating using this outfit for any driving lessons/road test etc. Please 'Beware' of Roadaware.

Both the In-class and practical part of their driving courses were relevant and very streamlined. The instructors are very experienced, and they really know how to teach you driving concepts. My name is Nick Nagaoka and I was deathly afraid of driving because of another driving school and hadn't driven in 5 years. They not only have private lessons that you can take aside from the classes, but being 23 and not wanting to take classes with high schoolers was really nice. The instructor was blunt and straightforward but always encouraging and helped me pass my G2 road test on the first try!! More importantly, he convinced me thay driving is meant to be fun and not some horrific thing you have to do to get to places. Absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs to drive again but feels fearful or embarrassed that they didn't do it when they were 16.
