I’ve never written a Google review before now, but I was so pleased with my experience at Learner’s Academy Driving School that this is the least I can do to say thanks! I hold a full permanent licence, but after not having driven at all in 9 years, I desperately needed to refresh my driving skills ahead of renting a vehicle for a big move. I have so much praise and gratitude for Ronald. He is not only an expert driving instructor, but he is also extremely professional, friendly, caring, and energetic. I especially appreciated his strong focus on safe and defensive driving. I wish I had first learned how to drive from him nearly two decades ago… but I guess it’s never too late to fix bad habits! Right before COVID-19, I had registered for the course with Ronald and the team at Learner's Academy. They came highly recommended to me through friends and I thought I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did. The in-class sessions were so thorough and Ronald really made an effort to ensure everyone had an understanding of road safety and defensive driving skills. I was nervous at first, but Ronald's patience and clear direction allowed me to pass my G2 on first try. I can honestly say that my confidence on the road improved tremendously taking Ronald's classes. Not to mention, Ronald is just a funny and cool guy. Learner" Driving Academy is by far the best driving school I have ever used and I have used the services of quite a few. It took me 5 tries to get my G2 with other schools. Three lessons and I aced the G test on my first try with the help of Albert one of their many knowledgeable instructors. Besides passing the test I learnt some crucial driving/parking techniques that have made day to day driving a more pleasurable experience for myself. I highly recommend the services provided by Learner's Academy Driving School to anyone serious about improving their skills behind the wheel. Just make sure you do your homework between each lesson. I took 5 lessons with Albert over a 3 week period, and passed my G2. You could say I had no idea how to 'drive' before this and could consider it a miracle. When I used to drive with my mom, she'd be holding the safety handle (I've completed a driving course before with little improvement). After 1 lesson with Albert, she had her feet up on the dashboard. He incorporates defensive driving from the very beginning and gets you driving confidently in Toronto. The G2 test instructor was VERY intimidating and had I not been so confident in my driving abilities (thank you Albert!), I probably would not have passed. I will definitely be taking a few lessons before my G test.

Super happy with Learner's Academy Driving School. Carlos was my instructor and he did an amazing job. Not only was he a great teacher - but also just an awesome and fun person to be around in general. After a few weeks of lessons with Carlos I passed my G2 at Downsview first try. He tailored my lessons to my existing strengths and weaknesses behind the wheel, and was professional and patient throughout. He's got an expert knowledge of driving and the rules of the road and a great method to teach it to others. He was calm and very experienced and really helped to make me feel comfortable driving in busy downtown traffic. I can't recommend Carlos and Learners Academy Driving School enough.

The road test felt easy after going through his lessons; I passed on the first attempt! I almost never do reviews but this is one of the rare scenarios where I do a review. Carlos really helped me alot not only in successfully achieving the G license, but we shared alot in common. Living in the same area, growing up doing similar activities , and we just had alot in common which made everything much more comfortable and relaxing. The conversations were facsinating as we not only discussed the driving aspect, but the social aspect of life, ect. Overall amazing.

My instructor Ron was really professional and his communication skills were on point. They helped me pass both my G2 and G test in the first try. I could ask any question about different situations and Ron explained with images and videos about how to navigate through the situation. After having a bad experience with another driving school where the instructor was just writing in their schedule book or talking on their phone. They really changed my mind and I would highly recommend learner’s academy.

This is certainly the best driving school in Toronto. Ronald taught me how to drive well while being cautious and confident. He also answered all my questions with examples and illustrations. Driving in downtown Toronto is quite hard but Ronald taught me how to drive safely in the area. One of the best thing was communication, Ronald promptly replied to my texts. I did not expect him to take calls as I understood they’d be teaching others during the day. I highly recommend this school for their reliability!

Absolute horrendous experience with this driving academy. Albert spent most of the time drawing and doodling in a notebook than actually teaching me how to drive. He also spent 10 minutes using the restroom in his own house on my paid time. This driving school should be reported by the Better Business Bureau and should be shut down immediately. Save your money and go to an actual professional who can teach you how to drive. In addition $60 per hour for this poor service is absolutely outrageous.

Before signing up for the course, the thought of driving made me extremely anxious, but Ronald was patient and helped me develop the confidence I needed to face my fears and get behind the wheel. Latin Latin people and anyone, I highly recommend Ronald!! I got my driver’s license with him. He is a amazing instructor driver, he explained me the training in Spanish and English with great patience and professionalism so that I could feel safe to understand the instructions of the evaluator in the test. Ronald has a lot of experience, he was with me on the highway and the city giving me great tips to be able to drive safely and maneuver more easily. He makes you see any errors and explains why you shouldn’t do it, he is aware of all your movements and actions, but always with a big smile and good humor. Best driving school in Toronto ! Albert was the best teacher I could ever ask for! I had basically no experience driving and he had so much patience with me- explained every rule, technique, in detail and repeated as many times as necessary. They have flexible schedules and it's truly an investment of your money. Albert will prepare you not just to pass the test but to actually know how to drive properly, on a daily basis. Because of COVID my classes and test lasted what as seemed as forever. Ronald, who is one of the instructors, helped me plan along the way. I just got my G2 and I honestly wouldn't have gotten it without Ronald at Learner's Acadamy. At 38, I was very nervous and intimidated to start driving and through word of mouth came to this school and I'm so happy I did. Both the in-class and in-car are at convenient locations on the subway line, it was easy to book classes and I was never pushed to do something I wasn't ready to attempt. We would repeat maneuvers until I felt confident. They literally set you up to pass. And not only that, I feel and know that I'm a safe driver. I'll be back for some lessons for my G next year!

Really great learning experience. Ronald helped me to get my driving license on the firsf attempt it self. As a new immigrant to Canada from a country which drove on the otherside of the road, Ronald's advice on how to adjust was very helpful. Before I took the first lesson I thought their services are expensive but felt the learning experience was well worth the money.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Ronald is a great instructor who helped me get to speed with all the laws and regulations very quickly and helped me build my confidence in driving from scratch. He even went out of his way to give me a couple of lessons over the weekend for which I cannot thank him enough. Thanks to him I was able to clear my G2 test without any hassle. Ronald is a great instructor. He is calm, patient and encouraging while assuring you are developing good safe driving skills.
