my first purpose to take a driving course was for the insurance discount. But after I attended the first class, I was actually enjoying it. Zia was a very good teacher. He covered all you would want to learn in driving and he was helpful. My incar instructor was Zack and he was patient and calm while letting you take your time driving. i enjoyed how he taugh me things I wanted to know specially in dealing with engine problems. I recommend HDS to those planning to enrol driving course. You get what you paid for, and more.

Zia was really good instructor, and I had the in-class lessons with him, the reason why I did not give 5 stars is that my in-car lessons with another instructor was NOT quite satisfactory, I failed my road test twice at New Market drive test center, where the road condition was more complicated and I did not get chance to familiarize it and then I had to find another driving instructor from another driving school, and the new driving instructor was excellent, not only did he help me book the road test, but he taught me quite a few very handy driving skills. As a result I was able to pass the road test with not even a single cross on my result sheet in Oshawa just 10 days after I failed my second test.

I just got my G2 thanks to the Honours Driving School! My instructor was Zack who is great! He is very patient and explains everything extremely well; he helped me perfect my parking skills and shared very helpful driving tips. Driving classes are 1,5 hours long which is very convenient, especially if you don’t live close by. Will definitely continue classes with Zack to get my full G. 100% recommend!

Just completed my g2 today. I had Zia as my in-class and in-car instructor. Without repeating the same stuff as other people said, I can easily recommend having Zia as your instructor will help you pass the exam. He's patient, has good technique and very wise with the rules on the road. He'll also help you with anything you need just be contacting him. He's also pretty fun to talk to on the way back from the exam. Overall, a great experience that will help anyone become a better and safer driver on the road.

After doing some research into finding the best driving school in Toronto, I can say I highly recommend Honours Driving School over others. There are many driving school options out there but it is difficult to find the right school. Honours Driving School was very professional in handling payments and facilitating communication with my instructor, Zia. Zia and the school were able to to accommodate lessons to my schedule and the lessons started in a timely manner. Zia is a very patient and effective teacher who has extensive experience teaching driving skills for both road test and for practical driving. He was very quick to assess my area for improvement and ensured that I was comfortable with all area prior to the road test that I passed. Both Ayesha and Zia were crucial to my success in passing my driving test. My situation was very precarious because I had waited until after the expiry of my G2 to apply for my G exam. Ayesha helped me to determine the right package for my needs and driving skill to pass the test. She was consistent and helpful on the phone and in-person. Zia was very supportive and patient with me. He was always calm in the car and never made me feel bad for my mistakes. He taught me all the techniques and helped me to focus on the exact areas that the examiners look for when evaluating students. The day before my exam it was dark and raining like crazy but he still took me out for a lesson so that I could get practice in a real-life and challenging situation. That really boosted my confidence and was a key factor in me passing my exam the next day (which was a clear weather day). I passed the test for my G on my first (and only) attempt in the Metro East centre (known to be difficult) and I'm so grateful to Zia, Ayesha and Honours Driving School. He even told me about a confusing Yield sign in advance and saved me from making a potential mistake on the test. Both in class and driving instruction were superb. Everything was laid out clearly for the in-class. I signed up for Package B which includes the car for the G1 exit test. I also signed up for addition driving sessions because I do not have a car to practice. It was well worth it. I had Najib for my driving instructor. He was calm, gave clear instruction, and was always fully alert to our surroundings. I'm extremely pleased to have enrolled at Honours Driving. They offer great value and after passing my G1 exit test I feel way more confident in my driving ability and being able to read the road and traffic in the bustling mid-town area.

Absolutely amazing experience learning to drive at Honours driving school! and I passed driving exam from the 1st time ! I took full package with theory classes for 1 week everyday (intensive, but so worth it!) and most Available hours to drive on the road. At first, the lesson was great, but then the instructor kept asking personal questions. It's very hard to focus on driving for a new learner when being bombarding with personal questions, and I don't like to share too much personal details. To reply for the owner: I just saw your reply after 2 years I posted my previous comment. Anyone can leave their review on the Internet as long as it's not personal attack. I didn't mention the name of the instructor, but you can also see there's another lady (who gave you one star) also indicated that this instructor really asked lots of personal questions. You said I didn't post my real name...you have to know that lots of immigrants use English name for their emails.

Driving in Canada is a privilege and to earn that you have to be very patient and aware. I was fortunate to get Zia as my instructor as he helped me unlearn. He is always super patient and would share real life examples. Clearing exam is just one aspect, the real exam starts after that though. Working with Zia we worked on the latter part. Also I will strongly recommend everyone to not fall in the trap of saving money by going to unlicensed instructors. your SAFETY comes at a price, you have to DECIDE if it is worth those extra bucks or not :)

Zack is your go to guy! He is patient, with excellent communication, always on time, gives you clear instructions and makes you practice the different parking techniques till you perfect it! Just got my G2 license - I was asked to parallel park in my test and while half way through the parking my test instructor says “seems like you are a professional. Let’s just go ahead”. I didn’t even have to complete my parallel parking because the technique was observed and was on point thanks to Zack! This mythical Zia is not a myth he is the real deal! Legendary instructor,read his reviews and the compliments weren't close to how great this man is! I came with a bit of international experience and after the first lesson he told me to reschedule my G test because i would fail. He told me to come see him again to make sure i was ready,i took the criticism constructively. I rescheduled my test, came back and after my lesson he gave me the thumbs up, which I felt was very honest of him as other schools might have tried to get more money out of a student but he was genuine. A few days later I passed my G on the first try and literally everything he told me to do is what i was asked to do in the road test including a final tip he gave me in the last minute of our last lesson together!!! My first comment to Zak on our first lesson was "I am really nervous". Zak's blunt response was, "Don't be nervous, this is nothing, you have to be like a soldier". I understood what he meant by this and from then on I followed his instructions like a soldier. The result from our bootcamp was ASTOUNDING! Within a month, I passed my G2 driver's license test and I owe it all to the amazing instructions of Zak! He is very funny, nice, and patient. Each lesson was easy to learn through Zak's guidance. In the beginning I had trouble with my parallel parking. Zak understood what I was doing wrong. After a couple of additional lessons, I can now confidently perform a parallel, front, and reverse park with ease! There's a point in time in a driving lesson when you keep making a mistake and you don't know what is wrong. With Zak he made me see what was wrong and helped me correct my mistake. It was such a breeze taking a lesson from him. I strongly recommend Zak as your instructor. I didn't expect passing the test on my first try but Zak proved me wrong. He helped me passed and become confident on the road and in my personal life

With the help of the front desk as well as my instructor ZIA, I was able to get my g2 in no time. Passed with flying colours. I just passed my G2 yesterday with Najib for my 1st time. He is the best instructor I could have wanted. I took the 2nd package which was 10 hours of driving but I ended up adding around 8 additional lessons as practice is very important to be safe and of course to pass the road test. Driving with Najib is a real pleasure, he is highly competent in passing down skills and you'll be very safe with his guidance. We usually go driving in difficult situation and that helped me a lot to pass my test at Toronto Metro East. I saw a lot of bad reviews from this test centre but I had a very good experience with the examiner Lydia and overall it wasn't more difficult than what we were prepared for. Just pick your time carefully out of busy hours, I passed it on Friday afternoon around 3 pm. Again big thanks to the whole team Honours Driving and Najib for training me.

Fake reviews, avoid them at all costs. Zia used to make phone calls during my driving lessons, he even booked his flight ticket to Pakistan during my lesson. Although he knew I was an extreme beginner and the slightest mistake could’ve led to a disaster if he is not paying attention. Not to mention that he kept bombarding me with personal questions, like do I live with my parents? Do I call them? Do I have a girlfriend? Do I love my girl? Etc... What this has to do with driving lessons?! One look at the 5 stars ratings will instantly convince you they are fake. All accounts did only 1 rating (which is here) There are online connection firms that you pay for to improve your Google ratings, they chose the cheapest one as obviously these ratings are hilariously fake!

TEN Stars if there's even an option. Zia is The Best instructor ever! Very patient, very informative, and he especially cares for you. He repeatedly remind you of the important stuff so that you never forget. Both my G2 and G license was instructed by Zia and I passed both at first try! In fact I passed my G today! I came from other school just to look for Zia. Unlike what I always hear from other people about boring in-class lessons, in-class lessons are never boring with Zia if you are serious about learning. My name is Don. First, I would like to thank Honours Driving School for having a wonder team of very knowledgeable and friendly staff and instructors. I just obtained my G2 License today, May 15, 2018 at the Newmarket Testing Centre. It felt great specially for someone who had once a bad experience from another driving school. That took me a long time to recover. That school didn’t look after me and they only went to get the service to fulfill their $399 obligation. They didn’t care. I failed miserably during my first test. During the second half of last year, 2017, when I finally decided to take another shot at getting G2 license, I did a more thorough research from MTO Lists and through user reviews like here on Google. Amongst the driving schools that I’ve researched then, I narrowed it down to a few and Honours Driving Schools stood out to be a highly reputable with high passing marks. From the very first meeting with Aisha, at the enrollment office, I was already very impressed with her confidence on the school education system and she never tried to sell me any particular package but actually explained to me what I can expect. She was very friendly and there was no pressure to sell. I knew then from that moment that I would need to get the most in-car lessons I can get because I don’t have a car to practice on my own. Honours Driving School packages for me are very reasonable considering the “quality” of driving instructions the students get. I didn’t want to risk again going with the cheapies which provide lessons that were like “hi” and “bye”. I requested Zia to be my in-car instructor when I signed up because many of the reviews are quite positive about him.… Zia...Zia...Zia... All these very good reviews about him here can’t be wrong I thought. And I was fortunate he became my instructor both in class and in-car. I really enjoyed learning the driving and traffic rules and regulations in the way that he explained them to the students. He is very animated. What else can I say about Zia that has not been said yet? I think all have already been said. But from my take, let me say that first, Zia is very PROFESSIONAL. Every driving lesson is organized and communicated properly including if changes need to be made. I’ve had no issues with the schedules at all. Zia is also very courteous, patient, and seriously willing to teach you everything he can for you not only to pass the driving test; but to become a better and safe driver. After all, that is the goal for many of us. One thing I will like to add here, that Zia’s standard is very high. I had the opportunity to do my in-car lessons during various seasons including fall of last year, winter, and now spring and rain. Today, I drove and passed the test successfully even though it was raining. Zia sees almost every imperfection I made and he made a note of them. Like I said Zia raises the bar much higher than what you will expect during the actual test so that when it’s your turn to go for driving test, it almost feels normal. I was so nervous today prior to the test. I’m always nervous doing “subjective tests” where there’s a judge who will decide your fate. After the first minute of driving, I started to calm down and my training with Zia kicked in. I managed to get through the rainy day test and do everything I was asked by the Examiner to meet MTO standards. After I nailed my final parking task, I was congratulated and it felt really really good. And in all truth, this would not have been possible if not for the driving skills education that I obtained from Honours Driving School through the guidance of Zia. So, I hope that my testimony here today will echo to those aspiring to get their driving license that Honours Driving School truly is, one of the top and best, in Canada. You won't regret it; but you also have to train hard as well. Thank you very much Honours Driving! Thank you very much Zia!!!

Zia was my in class instructor and while sitting in a classroom learning the rules of the road isn't the most enjoyable thing to do with my weekends, he was very knowledgeable and even got a laugh out of me a couple times. I chose Honours Driving School due a friend's refer to help me getting my Full "G" License and I am more than satisfied with that. Zia, was extremely patient and helped me build my knowledge of the rules and all the needed points we need to be aware of, such as cyclists, pedestrians, HOV lanes and so on. I did my G2 test in the summer of 2016. My instructor was Najib and I though he was very good, nice and thorough! I didn't have the confidence to drive at first and had a difficulty grasping the dimensions of the car, but after the first lesson I could already comfortably drive an SUV even though the teaches you in a much smaller car. He was a great instructor and I passed my test on the first try with only 4 lessons! The price is great too! Highly reccomend this place!

Prior to enrolling at Honours Driving School I had taken driving classes with several different driving schools. Their approaches were not working for me and I was not able to grasp many of the important concepts. So I checked online and read many positive past reviews about Honours Driving School. The administrative assistant, Aisha was extremely helpful and explained to me all the affordable options. She assigned me the driving instructor, Zia. He had a systematic and logical methodology for teaching concepts like parallel and reverse parking that finally clicked for me. It took a lot of practise and at times I felt like giving up, but with Zia’s patience and understanding I pushed myself in my lessons until I finally passed my driving test with flying colours. Also, I took the Honours Driving School Beginners Driving Education (BDE) that was taught by Zia. It was extremely helpful for road safety and driving techniques even an experienced driver can benefit from. The hard work from the Beginners Driving Education paid off and I got 40% off my car insurance. Based on my experience with other schools I believe Honours Driving School is the best driving school around. I rate Zia a 10 out of 10 as he has a solid approach to teaching driving that provides students with the tools and understanding of how to drive effectively.

I chanced upon Honors through a random Google search after looking for driving schools on the internet. Met with Zalmay the manager who was very courteous and accomodating. Did a trial lesson with Zia. Ended up buying the whole package for drivers ed which turned out to be worth every penny. What was anticipated to be boring class lessons turned out to be very informative and interesting sessions for the whole batch with Zia again. I learnt so much I had no idea about in defensive driving. Started with practical lessons. Zia again helped a lot with correcting bad habits I had picked up earlier. He was able to drill down so many good defensive driving habits into me, correcting every small mistake. I passed my G1 road test in the first go thanks to the awesome practice and training sessions. Monday, March 12, 2018 I went there planning to attend my in class lessons When I got there, Zia and Aisha told me that my course has expired! How could this be??? Aisha texted me on October 23,2017, that the expiration date would be on March 25, 2018 I still have the text on my phone I called Aisha 4 times this past February, i wanted to check in and make sure she gave me the right date But she did not respond This information too, is still on my phone I had intentionally taken 3,5 days off of work so that i could finish my in class lessons during march break, because according to Aisha, my course would expire soon So, I said it was not my fault that Aisha gave me the wrong date And Zia said, 'it doesn't matter.. students are always like this'. Like what, Zia? Like.. telling the truth and refuse to get scammed??? They said they could not do anything about it except if i take more lessons with them so that they could enter my name in the system Zia tried to sign me up for in class lessons for $339 plus tax!! And Aisha was screaming saying ' i cannot pay out of my own pocket!' and after that she tried to sell me 6 and 10 in car lessons Aisha tried to sell me the lessons by saying 'you need this in car practice anyway' Aisha said that's the only way she could put my name in the system. Really??? So i asked for the manager, Aisha said there was no manager So i asked to speak to the owner, Aisha said the owner will not speak to anyone So i knew that Aisha intentionally informed me the wrong date so I would miss the deadline so that i would have to spend more money on her driving school Beware folks. From her demeanor, I could tell she does this often I was calm, but she got defensive with all the yelling and screaming Why got so nervous if she didn't do anything wrong? Like Aisha said, there is no manager, no owner, no one I can talk to She said the only way to complaint is that I should try to send an email to them So I did The response? They offered to refund $15, out of $578.87 that i paid! Because now, they charged me with separate single lessons instead of Package#2 that I chose and paid! What a shameful business practice!! So, this is their dirty business practice, can you see? I believe they are themselves are the owners How do i know this? Because Aisha said 'I will talk to Zia. Zia can do everything' Then she said, 'They will refund you half of what you paid, because that's whats fair. I just know..' It never happened Sure.., Zia can hide behind the email and make the call not to refund me because he got scared when i took photos of the documents Zia said, 'if you take pictures, there's nothing we can do for you anymore' Why so afraid to get exposed if you didn't do anything wrong, Zia? Also I remember last year after I finished my lessons, out of the blue Zia started talking about writing reviews Zia said 'it only takes a minute to write a review, right?' Beware folks Don't trust all the good reviews They are fake, most of them are family and friends They are just trying to get more business through good reviews I will post pictures and more details so you all are well aware who these people really are Well, I hope they enjoy my honest, hard-earned money and feel good inside! It would be nice if they use my money to change the name of the company to DISHONOURS DRIVING SCHOOL

When I first approached Honours Driving School to get help prepare for my G2 test, I had a very high level of anxiety and a very low level of confidence due to my bad experience with another school and instructor previously. Fortunately, Zia was my instructor. Zia had a cool and calm manner to handle a nervous, full of tension, rarely smile and talk student like me. He taught me all the necessary skills to drive safely. Sometimes, I made mistakes here and there. MUST READ Hello Guys, This is the first time I ever posted a review. I must confess that after weeks and weeks of search for a driving school and finding all other schools in Toronto too busy to answer my calls and schedule me in for the Beginners MTO approved course, I was fortunate enough to come across this school. Sent a detailed email with all my questions and concerns and got a reply within 24hrs. My G1 was just 3/4 months away from expiring so I knew I had to make a decision quickly. Thus, I stepped into Mr. Zia's office and signed up for the MTO course and completed it in 2 weekends. Mr. Zia will teach you everything and give you all the tips and details to ensure you are ready before you start the driving classes. Classes are fun and you will get to see many real life examples w you will carry with you all life. Now, the in-car lessons are obviously the best part (at least for me). I had never driven before with the exception of 2 times where my friends tried to teach me – also had a 1h lesson with an instruction in Toronto where I totally hated it. I don’t like when people shout at me and try to put me down. With Mr. Zia everything was different; he is calm, patient and inspires you to give your best in every lesson. In less than 2 months I felt ready to take the Road test and can happily say that I passed it on Monday thanks to him. For all young, new and experience drivers looking for a driving school, please look no further, this is the place you want to go. Ask for Mr. Zia, he is not just your in-class or driving instructor; he is much more than that, he is your FRIEND and wants you to SUCCEED.
