I wish i can rate this 0 stars, worst service, dont come here, if you do, youll wait about 2-4 hours just to get the worst/most boring service of your life. My brother did his g2 here and he said the instructor was extremely mean and made him more hesitant to do the g2 test.

This is a very well organised centre. I gave my G2 and G here. Both the times my instructor was Amy (tall girl). During my G2 she was sitting at the back and supervising a trainee who gave me directions. During my G she made me very comfortable and gave instructions well in advance for me to act accordingly with safety. I had an amazing experience. Kudos to the staff here.

It was a good experience. Test was at 12pm, arrived at 1150. There was someone at the front to direct me in to get registered for the test. Social distancing was observed. I was in my car waiting for the examiner by 12:05pm. Examiner arrived and started test by 12:15pm. Examiner was professional and fair. In general it was a good experience.

We came to Ontario in March and have tried several times to go to the drive test place in St. Catharines to have our drivers licence changed but the line ups are always crazy long. So today we went at 7:30 in the morning, waited in line to get to the front to be told that they are not doing our month of birth only Jan-June. They won’t let us in and tell us to come back next week. We drove an hr to get there and I took a day off work and they can’t make an exception? We tried calling the number no one answers and the vm is full. It says on the window they will allow on certain exceptions but not us. Finally after saying we want to speak to a supervisor (which we were told would be here any min 30 min later) to come out and say we will let you in, I started to say thank you and she stopped me and said we are letting you in because we HAVE to. All the staff where all snotty and rude. Yes we were upset because of driving far and taking time off from work to be told no but during the time of Covid there should be a grey area. Certain situations need different exceptions. I would not recommend this place - go somewhere else. The staff there are snotty, rude, and entitled with there power. Not impressed.

Waited 7 hours total for my daughter to write her G1 test, the staff here are ignorant, rude and completely incompetent. I think its a disgrace that our province does not run this anymore, the Ministry ran this 100X more efficient, I would rate them 0 out of 5 if I could, we have no choice in Ontario but to go to this absolutely disgraceful establishment to get our license now, I hope some polititian out there can close this hell hole!!!! All you staff here should be fired, go work somewhere else where you don't deal with the public....like a farm where your skills (if you have any ) may possibly be put to use

I would give it negative 5 stars if I could. HELLOOOOOO, you can't have same number of booths servicing ppl for past 20 yrs. There's 5 times more vehicles and population now. Also, why there isn't booth for driving/written tests ONLY is beyond me.

Adrian the service rep helped me book my full G test and made things so much easier than I anticipated. While in line, I noticed he was the sole person tending to both the line and to the people looking to book tests, which he did very well. It was so great to see someone working so hard and making an often overwhelming task simpler for the folks in line. I wish he had a bit more help, especially since the backlog in testing has been an highly vocalized issue. Thank you Adrian!:)

Good luck with this place. If you have to tale time off of work I recommend taking the morning off because if you're not here before 4 there is a good chance you're not getting served. But hey they open back up at 830 the next morning.

The worst service! I kept on calling and trying different ways to reach- IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to reach them! How do you guys expect people to communicate with you? If you would answer your phones, there wouldn't be this long wait times and lines.

-1 Sad experience. Waiting line is crazy. I came at 3 p.m. to pass a theory test, got my number, (the number machine closed at 4 p.m., so I was sure if I got my number I'll be able to go in today), but... I ended up at the window to pay the fee at 4.36 , and because they are closing at 5, they didn't let me even try to pass it (even though, I was telling them if I'll not finish on time, it will be my problem), but for their opinion the 25 minutes is not enough and period, they will not even speak with you. I think if they about to do so, they supposed to CLOSE the machine (which giving you a waiting number, NOT AT 4, but at 3 p.m., that people will not waste their time). Because person who got the number having a hope that he'll sit in the line there, but he'll have a chance to go in and pass. The chairs for waiting are not enough, many people are standing. Suggestions: rent a bigger facility, make more stations to pay the fee and more serving ladies/mens (because in the theory room were only 3 person at the time from 10 computers available). So, it's definitely not enough people for registration fees etc. More chairs for people to wait and bigger parking spot.

The staff here is extremely friendly and courteous. They answered all my questions and handled my CDL renewal well. The new computer testing facilities are simple and easy to use. That being said... wait times are ridiculous. We tried calling multiple times to get information and never had a phone answered once. Thanks to the staff for doing g the best they could under the circumstances. Management: Hire more people. You are the only facility for Niagara. Since privatization you have dropped the ball significantly. Shape up before the voters speak out.

Did my G test here the other day (Aug 12, 2021). My examiner was a short lady with brown hair (I think) and for the most part she was nice and gave clear instructions. My only issue is that I was failed due to "not driving my manual car like an automatic." I know that taking a manual to a road test is a bold move but it was the only car I had available at the time. Anyways, I got failed for "coasting" multiple times when I was slowing down to about 10-15kmh before pushing the clutch in to avoid stalling when coming to a stop. I tried to argue that I'm not a computer and cannot drive like one, but it was to no avail. So please guys don't take your test here especially if you have a manual car since they apparently don't know how manual transmissions work.

It doesn't deserve a single star, -3 stars. Wait absurdly long. Three staff for a what 60 people? Fail and you wait in line of death again just to pay. Random call ups had some of us there almost two hours while others arriving after were long gone. Broken beyond repair. Thanks government of Canada for finding a way to make licensing more painful than I thought humanly possible.

I wrote my G1 test twice in this location, and failed both times after studying for numerous hours. I suffer from Anxiety, and being in an environment with negitive workers and a packed space made it hard to concentrate or feel confident. Workers are no help, the wait is long, and there's a negitive tension in the building as you wait to take your test. I was also told that I only have 25 minutes to write the test, which is ridiculous in my opinion. Don't go here, find another location.

Normally I wouldn't care to write reviews but this experience with this older driving instructor was completely horrible. First off i'm sure not everyone is like this and are probably lovely but this older lady was atrocious. She kept raising her voice at me while I was driving over things in my opinion made no sense. Kept talking down to me and ruining my confidence during a time where it's already a nerve wracking test. I ultimately passed but she made me so nervous I almost cried which is abnormal for me. Instructors are there to judge the capabilities of your driving skills which i understand but should not demean the individual the whole test and even yell at other drivers on the road. Please just be mindful while using this location this instructor was horrible.

The service at “DriveTest” Sucks. With a Big S No customer service oriented whatsoever Waiting time ridiculous Information as to what to do and where to go its minimal or nonexistent. The only comparable thing as per the experience waiting 2 hrs to be attended for my daughter’s G1 test is a what a 3rd world country type of service would be or worst. If there was an option for cero stars that would have been my choice.

Slow and unsupportive (specially if you are a new immigrant). They failed my G exam because I stopped "in the wrong place" to give the priority to a pedestrian instead of killing it. I did everything else correctly. Good luck to everybody that has to get a driver's licence in Ontario!!! It's easier to win lottery!

Would write 0 stars if I could. Waited more than 3 hours AFTER my timed appointment for 1:40pm. Then the instructor I was given wasnt nice at all, no hello, no talking, nothing. I didn't pass and asked what I did wrong, the response was "a bunch of little things" and didn't go into any further detail. I will not be coming back to this location.

The girl I had for my road test was completely rude. She bitched at everything I did(they aren’t supposed to say anything they’re supposed to let you drive and be quiet ITS A TEST). Then at the end she pretty much told me she wishes she could fail me but because of the system she has to pass me. Not happy at with her at all. I wish I knew her name. Other than that the place is okay.... wait time for stuff is really long and all the workers there just seem rude but stuff gets done.

This is the worst drivetest center ever, zero stars if possible. The level of inefficiency, understaffing and incompetence is pathetic for the amount of taxes we pay in this country. There is one old lady who is helpful, god bless. This is a zero star place and the state should be ashamed. I waited over 3 hours in a crowded, hot, noisy environment and still did not get through, people began sitting on the floor at one point because it’s just too packed. Words cannot express the sheer disgust one should rightfully feel towards this place, we should not stand for this cheapening of our services.

The worst drive test center in Ontario, if not in Canada. The examiners do not allow you to drive the test route even the route is available on YouTube. And you can not drive the nearby highways because it is part of the test route. According to the examiner "Patrick", it is "forbidden" for you to just drive from the test center to the QEW and swing back. Even not taking the parallel parking and the three-point turn, it is "exactly the test route", he said, "we will fail you if we see your vehicles here again". Then the examiner Patrick went to all the other examiners on-site, talked to them, and pointed at me. THERE IS A PARKING LOT RIGHT BEHIND THE TEST CENTER, JUST TURN RIGHT WHEN YOU TURN FROM THE BUNTING RD. THIS WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PRACTICE AND NO EXAMINERS WILL INTERFERE WITH YOU. ST CATHARINES MAY BE THE EASIER ROUTE, THE EXAMINERS ARE NOT, BE AWARE.

I had booked my road test On Oct. 6th and when i got there on Nov.17 th, 6 Weeks later, they told me there was no record of my test being booked... and that i owe a fee. I had the email saying it was confirmed with the confirmation number in the e-mail. I showed it to the lady and she never said it wasn't their email. she just went quiet. She then go on to insist i booked it on the wrong website and i got scammed.. There is only one Drive test in st.Catharines and there is only one website that comes up when you google 'Drive Test'. THEIR WEBSITE. i know what site i booked my test on. They were so unprofessional with handling my situation and horrible with talking to customers. GO TO SIMCOE IT'S WELL WORTH IT WITH LESS WAIT TIME!!

I took the G test 3 days ago at this location. That was my third time and it had been so frustrating for me, especially I had the same examiner the first two times and that gave me such a horrible experience. She is such a young lady but acted unprofessionally and made me feel so uncomfortable and more nervous during the test. I failed twice with her which made me feel so bad and inconfident in my driving skills. I thought a lot about changing the test location but still wanted to give a third shot at this location, just hoped I would have a better examiner. And this third time, I had a such nice and professional examiner (I dont remember her name, just know that she is a slim lady and wears a hat, not sure if her name is Sandra). She gave me the instructions clearly and made me feel so comfortable and confident in the test. And when we came back to the drive test centre, she said I passed the test, I was so happy and actually called her my savior :). This five star is to recognize her and her great work as an examiner. So good luck to anyone that need to take G2 or G. Your test, sometimes, not most of the times, is depended on the examiner!

Sat in waiting area for 1 1/2 hours. When it was finally my turn to go up, they told me they were now closing and I would have to come back another day. Keep in mind, the place closes at 5 pm, I arrived at 3:30, it was recommended that I arrive an hour early. I arrived 1 1/2 hours early and I was still not seen.

Unsure if it's just general governmental incompetence or just straight up resentment for the general population but this place is the physical embodiment of mental anguish. What's that? You need a license so you can keep going to work to provide for yourself? Too bad, go drive 5 hours away to complete a test that is literally 15 minutes. Absolute joke.

They took my friends no & made him wait over one hr & then said we r closed. We have been there twice for help as my fiend had out of county licence but it expired while here. They said he could get g2 if he got another doc from his country. Meanwhile u can’t drive etc. U can’t phone these ppl. U can’t get help on Line. This is the worst display of govt service ever !! We need a lot of help with simple info & ppl having access to a lot of things even at immigration.

My son did his written test here today. He failed the test by 1 question. They would not even let him see which questions he failed on. Rudely told him failed. When he asked to look at the test he was rudely told no. If your going to fail someone and then not let them see the test. I'm sorry but I don't even trust them that he failed. I realize things were different when I got my license but they at least explained and showed me where I went wrong. $157 to freeze outside for 2hrs and not be shown the mistakes. Went there Monday afternoon to write my M1 (i passed). They were fantastic about keeping up the social distancing and making sure everyone wore masks and sanitized their hands. Everyone was very friendly, did their job with a smile and well with politeness! They still kept up the A+ customer service during people who were upset for various reasons. I was expecting to be there for hours but in all i was there for 2 hrs tops. It was my first time there and could not be more happy with the service i received!! Thank you for all you do!!! Especially in this time.

People wait for hours to get few minutes of issue resolved, that's not fair. Provide appts to save time. I went in today to assist my boyfriend in getting his G1 licence again. WORST SERVICE EVER! No one was willing to assist us. The staff was rude and short-tempered with him. When he went to ask for assistance a second time, the lady made him lose his spot in line (waiting for his number to be called up), so we had to start all over. Staff that ignored our cry for help, willingly came out to assist others. I have never been so frustrated in my life. After almost 2 hours-he finally got out of there. I am forced to give a star-I would give nothing. Absolutely pathetic.

Went for my G road test today and the instructor was so nice! Don’t remember his name but he has full sleeve tattoos I think on both arms. One of them for sure and he was super nice and calm the entire test. He gave me advance notice of when he wanted me to do something and was polite to me the entire time! I was really nervous but he definitely helped me remain calm throughout the test!

Don't know what happened with this center but trust me guys never book appointment with this centre, this is really like a curse, people are so rude, they don't care of your money, time and skills. Most if them are very old and they just don't care of your efforts. They will fail you for very small reasons like driving over speed in school area i.e 35 km/hr.

This is extremely sad. There is no logical reason that a person should have to spend half of their day (and waiting in multiple lines) just to renew a simple drivers license. If they can't do the job competently then the government needs to withdraw the funding for this private company who is supposed to be serving the citizens. The people of Niagara deserve better.

I guess I might be the only one with 3 stars. Haha. Anyhow I went for the G2 exit test on 15th July. I didn't pass because of my own silly mistake. But the examiner I got, a blonde lady with baseball cap. She was very polite and respectful. I also did not have to wait for a long time. I guess my luck. Only reason to not give 5 stars is the parking slots are not numbered so its like giving directions on the road test kiosk. Also the Internet connection is pretty slow and was frequently disconnecting at the kiosk. However, the route was pretty easy, very less traffic as well.

The woman at the first kiosk directly opposite the main entrance (booth #6) was very curt and dismissive. She immediately directed us to get a ticket and we waited for 30+min. When we were finally seen we were told we didn't even need a ticket. She was very rude to the rest of the people in queue, even rolling her eyes and scoffing at them. I understand sometimes difficult people can spoil a good mood, but when your job is literally dealing with people all day do not take your frustrations out on them. I sincerely hope that her day gets better so that people do jot have to suffer your sour attitude.

Trying to get a hold of their office, but can't seem to find a real number where I can speak to an agent. Just get a "go to our website" (which doesn't have the information I need) and "due to higher call volume than normal your call can't be answered at this time. Call back later." This is obviously just a fake voice message they put up so they don't have to answer their phone! I live on the other side of town and can't take a bus up simply to ask a question that would take five seconds to answer. They really should fix this system. And get a phone number!

I had a good experience coming here for my G2 test today. It was set at 3:30pm, and Sandra was at my car well before the time. She was kind and pleasant, and put me at ease. I had read some of these reviews before I went and was a little unnerved to be honest, but I have no complaints. Thank you again Sandra, if you read this. ♥️

Didn't even make it half a foot out of my parking spot for my G2. Lady was extremely rude, yelled "STOP" at the top of her lungs as I was reversing. Instantly failed me for "slamming" on my break and "not observing" when I was physically turned around watching for pedestrians behind me (which, there were none). What else am I supposed to do when she yells stop? Not brake? How much more cautious could I be? My appt was at 4:06pm. Trying to get home early by failing me? That's what it felt like. Absolute money grab. Trying to book at a different test centre.

Had my G test mid November 2021. I had a short, younger lady as my examiner. She couldn't decide what she wanted me to do and seemed lost and all over the place. During my parallel parking portion she told me to pull up to the spot, then she changed her mind and said "no wait the next car spot", she told me to turn right at the next traffic lights, then as I'm driving towards it she goes "oh I mean the next street sorry," and a few other things. On the QEW portion she asked me to lane change at an unsafe time in front of a transport truck. There were no safe spots to change to as the highway was packed head to toe. I couldn't speed up to safely lane change as the car infront of me would get uncomfortably close, so I lane changed as safely as I could given the circumstances. The transport truck honks at me and as I'm changing lanes, I hear the lady yelling at me at the top of her lungs " YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR SPEED", which I couldn't do because I wouldve hit the car infront of me (I knew I would've failed regardless cause the lane change wasn't correct and if I didn't lane change at all I'd fail too). Got back to the centre and she failed me for "unsafe lane change" (ironic that she made me lane change at an unsafe time). Coming from someone with severe anxiety, you don't yell at customers who are nervous and shun them. It's rude and unprofessional and makes the situation more stressful. I paid money to be tested on my driving, not to get yelled at. Fix your staff problem and their attitudes. Place is a joke. The low overall stars sums up this place

I took my G2 test in this place last month, I was waiting for my examiner approximately 50 min to arrive to my spot and begin my test. Meanwhile my friend bought me a coffee as it was too long and he opened the passenger door to keep some stuff in the centre console. Same time the inspector came and saw him doing that, she instantly started yelling at both of us, asking him to leave as no one should be near the car or inside it she said, we were not given any information about of this rules they made during the pandemic and nor they had it posted on their website in order to people be aware of it. I apologized as we were confused what it was all about. We had our masks ON, gloves ON, and everything in the car was clean and tidy for the examiner. I got really nervous because of this encounter and the road test began. She took my sign and started telling me rules of the test, was yelling all the while, half the way she was yelling at me the regarding that matter and I became scared and nervous more and more. She was giving me mock directions for my left and right turns and the whole set of instructions were rude. If I was not and experienced and calm driver, that nervousness would have killed both of us, as i was sweating. Luckily I got my licence done. AVOID going to this place

My son did his written test here today. He failed the test by 1 question. They would not even let him see which questions he failed on. Rudely told him failed. When he asked to look at the test he was rudely told no. If your going to fail someone and then not let them see the test. I'm sorry but I don't even trust them that he failed. there are never enough people working there. if you are going for a a service that requires you wait in the waiting area, the stars must align in your favor to get a chance of talking to the overworked employees. even if you get to talk to somebody, you better believe the service you need won't be offered then (because it is too late in the day even though the place is still open) and you have to come another day. it is slow, annoying and painful for the "customers" and employees. i would recommend getting snacks, but no food or drink allowed inside.

If I could give you no stars I would! .. I've been calling this place for well over 45 minutes to an hour and still no answer I ended up having to call Burlington to get your number to see if it was actually the number that's on Google, and apparently it is. I've had no dial tones, I've had this number is not in service, I've had it just not connect period... I don't know what kind of show you're running here but it's not professional at the least bit.. I booked an appointment a month and a half ago for the 11th, I called in to double check when my start time was and they told me there's no time or booking at all in the schedule and that my booking was on the 7th even though I asked the guy two times is it on the 11th and said "like one, one?" He said yes! So I wrote it down. So I ended up loosing my money for the test I was supposed to do and now I can't get ahold of you at all, which is driving me absolutely crazy!!... This place is a joke, don't waste your money or your time even driving to this unprofessional establishment!... I'd rather spend that gas money and go somewhere else!!

I had the misfortune that my examiner was this lady whose name I no longer remember. Her treatment from the beginning was rude. terrible manners of speaking. It seemed like she had a bad day. That’s something we all have, but customers shouldn’t get the consequences for that. This lady should definitely get another job preferably where she doesn’t have contact with the public, certainly, she doesn’t have skills for that. It’s a shame that your driver's license depends on the good or bad mood of the examiner. Unfortunately, they have the final word and we only have to dea with the moods of this insolent young woman. I had a young female examiner 2 weeks ago (her name sounds like Jimie) for my G test who was rude and racist. Here are some of what she said (very loudly): " Have you not been driving at all?" " You can't understand my instruction" "I told you what to do but you did not understand." First of all, I have passed my G2 4 years ago and been driving til now. I am here for my G. There is no way she could interprets my driving as" have not been driving at all." Secondly, my English is fluent and I am studying Engineering at University of Toronto. HOW COULD I NOT understand basic driving test instructions like turn left/right, change the lane ?????????? So. what she said, was. pure. racism. There is no way I could possibly misunderstand. Thirdly, she said I did not look at blind spots. I DO looked at blind spots at every lane changing and 3-point turn/parallel parking/pull over. I read alot of the reviews here and it seems like many people have the same blind spot problem as me. Finally, I honestly do not mind picky G examiners because this is basically the final driving test I might take during my life. BUT SHE CANNOT LIE about what I did wrong during my test and obviously RACISTS should be ashamed of yourselves.

Fortunately, the examiner (Sandra) was very polite and cooperative with me throughout my drive. She made me so comfortable as it was my first time driving on the highway in heavy rain. I went to all the way to Hamilton to here to give my G license test and the i had a condition that i had glasses before and did the laser eye surgery so the instructor cancel my booking and send me all the way to service ontario and then i found out that eye test are supposed to do by driving test center and she even told me to pay half fee and book another test instead of doing my eye test at the location..and the another thing is there is no number or direct contact details to file a complaint about it..If any official person from that location is reading this please work on it and give proper training to the instructors so people like us don't have to suffer..

Okay, where to start. Lines are really hit and miss here, there is a very illogical setup going on with this building which does nothing but stress everyone the hell out. The slowest moving line is also directly in line with the door and quickly causes a jam of people. They advise arriving a half hour before hand, if you do this good on you, if you don't there are some provisions to prevent you getting roasted for it, but I highly advise it, as again, lines are slow its a government operation. I didn't take my G1 test here, but they have computers for it, and they aren't beige, so they can take that one over service ontario. My road test experiences here so far have been without any major issue. My first test was suspended due to rain, which I didn't entirely agree with but it comes down to there was almost a foot of water standing on the roads, and while my jeep knows no fear, other cars and obstacles may have posed problems. No fault of theirs to try and keep everyone safe. Did however not appreciate having to wait 6 weeks for a reschedule. I however have seen some rather outrageous treatment of people in this place, such as the middle-eastern man that was in front of me for my rescheduling. Contrary to popular belief, if one does not speak english, having english yelled at one at increasingly slower speeds will not make them understand it. Also, the supervisor advised him that he would need to speak english for his road test. This is in fact completely false. Finally, the thing that really pissed me off, is that someone (a new driver) hit my jeep in the parking lot. And one of the instructors (not the guy I had for my test) was supposed to come in and find the driver (me) and alert them to the accident. Instead, they came in laughing about the "idiots" that got into a crash in the parking lot. After speaking with the young woman that scratched my bumper and put a rather large dent in her car (jeeps are built like tanks) she told me that her test administrator had screamed at her for the entire test, and then after when she hit my car. The handling of this situation could not have been worse and, its weird to say Im glad it was me that she hit because someone else might have just piled on to the nonsense. All in all, as with all businesses there are good and bad employees, and not everything is perfect, but some of the interactions with the populace are completely unacceptable and need to be looked into.

Poor service. Appointment was at 3, checked in at 2 30. Apparently I didn't get the memo that you need to wait inside your car with your mask over your face THE ENTIRE TIME, because I had my mask over my chin, waiting for the instructor to come to my car so I could cover my face, and "Patrick" decided he wanted to waste my time. He told me I had to wait another half hour because I wasn't covering my face THE WHOLE HOUR my dad and I were waiting for him, while sitting in our car. Guess what? my dad and I were the last ones in the lot that night, and not once did anybody from DriveTest tell us that they were closing for the night. My dad and I were sitting in the car from 2 45, to 5 10 waiting for an instructor, and nobody except for Patrick showed up. Spoke to a supervisor and rescheduled for the following Monday. Waste of my time.

The place itself is fine, but the calling is atrocious and unacceptable. They gave me the wrong date for my road test. I scheduled for the earliest date, which was on June 3rd, and they said it was on a Wednesday. When I called back to tell them June 3rd is a Monday, they told me that I was actually scheduled for July 3rd. I told them this was incorrect because I scheduled for the earliest date, and now I'm scheduled for June 19th. The call center gave me the wrong month for my road test. Ridiculous.

I would give 0 stars if possible. 25 (visible) patrons in here right now and 2 (visible) employees. I arrived at 0915, with all the necessary paperwork, and waited for 40 minutes. When I was called up, I was informed I needed my glasses to take the written exam. Even though I had the doctor’s results from my recent eye exam in hand, I was told Drive Test needed to conduct their own exam in house. I drove the 30 min round trip to get my glasses and return, only to see the number of patrons doubled from earlier, but the number of visible employees had not. I am writing this as I wait my number to come up again. I suspect I’ll be here a couple of hours. What a waste of a day just to take a simple written exam.

I took my G2 test here. My examiner was super chill and nice (I believe his name was Rob or something like that; white, tall and a bit slim, really blue eyes maybe mid 40s). The route was a little confusing so I wouldnt really recommended this location for a G2 test but luckily I passed! Also my test started right on time, didn't have to wait long at all. However, waiting to get my G2 document took a little while even though there was only 3 people ahead of me.

The examiner who took my G2 test stinked of cigarettes and was very rude. The man made me uncomfortable the moment he stepped into my car. His behavior and smell put me completely out of my game and I ended up doing two mistakes that caused me to fail. Plus, he was shouting at me inside the car. My driving instructor was very rude. He wouldn't shake my hand. I've been driving for five years and he failed me on my G test. On my score sheet he noted that I did not check my blind spot or mirrors during a 3 point turn. How can I turn without checking!!! He failed me because I did not give right of way during a 3 point turn to a car that was exiting its driveway 3 houses down!!! DO NOT GO HERE they just want your money.

Got my G2 driving license here. I came in with the shakes and was talkative, but my examiner was super cool. We got stuck behind a mile-long line of traffic, and wasn't super pushy about me being safe on the gas. All and all, not a bad place, it's just super-super busy. Just wish the waiting times were shorter. Nothing is worse than waiting to be in line for a test, and having to wait for fifteen minutes in the lot.

I booked my G2 test in September and got it booked for November. The day of it got cancelled, and now I have to wait 3 months to get my G2. I was told that you could check everyday online to see if there are any openings, but even that doesn't work since my test is already booked. This experience makes it seem like nobody's time matters.

I am honestly not sure what people are complaining about. This place is supposed to be busy because it is one of those places that everyone has to go to. Waiting times are supposed to be high, you need to make arrangements and bring a lot of time; with or without an appointment. I had to wait for my tests wayy past my booking time. In terms of failing, I failed my first attempt at G2 even after driving for almost 7 years before the test, but I knew what mistake I made, so I am not mad about it. I passed my G1, G2 and G promptly without issues. Examiners are professional, kind and easy to talk to. I will give it a 5 stars because even though short staffed, they are doing a super job, where others would lose their cool.

Took my road test for my G2. Before the test, I told the examiner that I have social anxiety, she laughed at me and she did not take me seriously. I ended up crying even before the test started. I had a panic attack and her yelling at me multiple times did not help. Her behaviour was very unprofessional and immature.

I went in a hour early for my test (10am) today because it’s been a while and I couldn’t remember how long before the test you could sign in. As I was making my way to the drive test kiosk, this driving instructor, probably in her late 50’s, short grey hair, glasses, comes in super irate, asking for a driver. The kid kindly stands up and lets the instructor know she’s looking for him. The lady proceeds to speak to this boy in a super aggressive tone about how he’s supposed to be waiting in his car, not the drive test centre. He apologizes as he didn’t see that on the kiosk (must have been his first time taking the test, still dont understand why she made such a huge deal out of this) the lady then proceeds to tell him (about 2 or 3 times) that he should probably learn how to read, very loudly in front of all the people waiting in the centre (parents and kids). Now not only did I really felt bad for the kid because this lady was so rude to him and probably made him feel even more nervous for his test then he already was, but she definitely made me nervous as my test as well. Same lady as I was waiting in my car had the gentleman beside me. He was standing outside of his car waiting (as were a lot of other drivers) she again spoke to this man in a very nasty tone, “you’re supposed to be waiting in ur car for me with ur window down” (again not everybody knows that if this is their first time taking the test). He got in his car and gave her his license and proceeded to tell her how much experience he had, she snapped back with “I don’t need to know that, and I hope you don’t get pulled over and you say that to a cop”. Like pardon me? The guy was obviously foreign and it was his first time. Who is she to talk to him like that. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. One should not be able to talk to a person like that, we’re still customers to their business. Not cool, they should have some respect for the drivers. Hope both the guys passed. In regards to myself, my test was at 11:07. The guy came out at about 11:15 and my break lights went out, I had a backup car in case something were to have gone wrong, as my car has been giving me major problems lately, and I told the instructor that. Not sure why we couldn’t just switch cars, as it took maybe 3 minutes for the guy at the reception to switch the license plate number. Instead he put me on standby and I stayed waiting in the car for 3 HOURS. Every hour that past I went and asked for an estimate wait time and the receptionist just got frustrated and told me he didn’t know. I literally wasted 5 hours of my day and they sent me home AND I had to pay to take the test again along with what i had already paid for to take my test today, so $140. Im a university student and that money doesnt just come easy, so ive been super upset about it. Nobody told me I’d be waiting that long. I missed class, and several other appointments. The receptionist ended up being pretty nice and helped me rebook. I talked to their supervisor, and all she could offer me was half off my test which was already something that was guaranteed anyways, so she basically did nothing for me. Ridiculous experience the entire time I was there. Hate that I have to go back.

Pleasantly surprised. There was a floor walker to assist with crowd mgmt. Staff was so very polite. Yes there is a crowd but if you go early before 10 and walk with your correct documents the system is smooth. Take a number at the kiosk pls and sit and wait. Thanks drivetest staff!!

As far as wait is concerned, u have to be there exactly 30 mints before your scheduled road test. They have separate kiosk for that and examiner comes to u more or less on the specified time. Parking is not that great but it’s ok. I didn’t pass my G because I made a mistake of stopping at green light while turning right( overly concious????).

I arrived for a Motorcycle road test I viewed what appeared to be chaos with people outside on the property everywhere but soon discovered it was well organised lines with workers helping people where to go based on what they were there for. This was the first time I've been there with very little wait time, schedules were on time. I was in & out in record time! I was dreading this visit needlessly.

Extremely long wait time. I arrived as soon as they opened to wrote my M1 and the wait time was still an hour long. After I had successfully completed my M1 test I had to wait an hour and a half for them to process my temporary license. And by them I mean one lady (very nice lady) who had to process everybody who has to write a test. There should have been at least 3 people processing everyone. Overall very frustrated with the system they use.

Don't appreciate the fact that the people you call at Service Ontario for info before you go in don't give the proper info, so that when you go in, wait a half hour (or more) just to be told you don't have all the correct IDs/information and have to leave and come back again. It would be nice if everyone was on the same page so that we aren't wasting my time, their time and other people's time who are waiting as well. Also more staff for the amount of traffic that goes in and out of that place is definitely lacking.

Looking at all the negative reviews and my own experience I wouldn’t even recommend this driving test centre to anyone. Worst place to be in. First problem they need to fix, minimum waiting time from the time of your schedule is 2 hours but still you need to be early because of the terrible line up. You can definitely tell they are under staff, 2 of their workers called in sick today(always the reason) so they ask you if you would like to book some other time. Second it doesn’t take that much energy to be nice. The front lady was rude, the old instructor lady was rude. No patience and they get mad so easily. I don’t know what’s wrong with them.

I took a G2 test here a few months ago. My examiner was a lanky older brunette man. Unfortunately I didn't pass (my own fault - turned when the designated left turning arrow was yellow), but my examiner was calm, kind, and gave me useful feedback. The previous examiners I had at other testing centers left me in tears and this man was such a delightful professional by contrast. I really wish I could remember his name. I will note that the test center was very, very busy even mid-day on a weekday. Thankfully road tests can be done using the kiosk, but I would not have wanted to write my G1 here given the line.

I went to take my g for the second time here. I am a VERY nervous tester so I was silently freaking out. The lady testing me was named Sandra, and she was absolutely amazing. She was very nice and had a very reassuring personality without really having to say anything. Because she had such a nice personality it calmed me down a lot which I think is the only reason I even did well. I am sooooo thankful that she was my test person. She is amazing and defiantly deserves some recognition!!! Thanks so much Sandra!!!!!! (Ive also noticed a lot of nice reviews about her on here as well)

I asked and was told I was next in line an hour ago only to watch 7 other people do their tests. Reader please Show up at least 2 hours early no employees will be directing you on where to go or what to do. All signs posted are vague and unhelpful. No actual person is available to help you so be prepared to wait in a line for an hour or more. Once you are served expect to be directed to the line/kiosk you should have been waiting in for another 30mins then once you are late for your test expect to wait there all day until hopefully some employee decides to take pity on you even though “you’re” late. The government should be ashamed at how idiotic this place is set up. No wonder we are 343 billion in debt with asinine institutions like this.

I'd give zero stars if possible. The place is designed in such a way that you have to jump through whatever hoops they throw at you to get your license, and even then you're not guaranteed success. A couple months ago they wouldn't test me because my back break light was out. They suggested I go to Canadian tire and get it fixed (ended up being fifty dollars) and then MAYBE they would see me. Well, fifty dollars and three hours later, I still hadn't been seen. This morning I showed up five minutes early (after another forty dollars to re-book the original eighty dollar appointment) to my G test, and there was a ten minute line to the check-in kiosk, so the machine told me i was five minutes late and must either leave or see a customer service rep. I get a ticket for customer service, and on the que displayed above customer service I notice my number gets bumped down every time someone else checks in, because I was late. This place is a total racket and a scam, and I strongly discourage anyone from ever giving them any of their money. I'm currently searching for other companies to offer the drive test, but unfortunately these con artists and thieves may have a monopoly on the business.

If i could give negative star I would. Drove from Ridgeway 4 days IN A ROW to arrive 1and 1/2 hours before close...2 days they ticket machine closed when we got there..very rude. Second day got processed and paid but was rudely told that there was no time to write g1...(this at 4:35)...came back next day..stood in line they told us to...finally i walked into room and abruptly said 'my daughter is writing this NOW. She wrote but then no time to process afterwards. RUDE AND ARROGANT. Ba k for 5th day today...3 tanks of gas...7 hours of my time wasted...faith in human nature totally decemated...nerves frayed. Just brutal. Drive to Hamilton if you can. Save yourself!

Pack a lunch and be sure to literally be standing in front of the front door by 7 am if you would like service before sunset. Six kiosks and usually only 2-3 staff. Lineup is out the door.They are snarky and condescending .I asked for a receipt to prove that I had dropped off my Medical Report and she looked at me like I had some kind of nerve for even asking. She said my proof was my next Medical Date which she would only provide verbally.I am not big on Government but this service should be done by Ontario Cival Servants .

Wish there was zero rating. I had to transfer my drivers license from Alberta to Ontario. That lady refused to transfer my driving experience from Alberta license and from Ontario G1 as well which I had years ago. After telling them that I surrendered my Indian license at Alberta Registry office, she accused me that I didn’t and even asked me to go to Brampton for the license experience which would qualify me for G test. Such a Terrible customer service. I don’t know where to complain….

I had my G test at Niagara temporary drive test centre 2 days back. I just wanna say that the examiner named Somalia she was very rude from the begining, she has no manners how to speak with people. I literally got the vibes right away when she came to me that she not gonna pass me. I dnt know who made her examiner for test bcoz she said to me if traffic is going at 120 speed then I have to go with the flow at 120 even when I was changing the lanes, but i think if max speed is 100 I have never seen any other examiner saying to go at 120 specially in test. She has to learn the Ministery rules first before taking anyones exam. I wish I could give zero rating to Niagara location. The next day she did same thing with my brother. I would not recommend anyone to this location because of this lady's behaviour.

Such a rude older woman she kept scoffing at things she thought i did “wrong” she yelled at me when I asked (just to make sure) if I could pass this vehicle that was picking up leaves or something on the road and she sarcastically said “YEAH?! WHAT ELSE ARE WE GONNA DO SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR AN HOUR? IF I WASN’T HERE WOULDN’T YOU PASS IT?” and she kept fumbling with her mask and rolling my window up and down (it’s a pretty cold day today April 1st 2021 in the morning) She made me so uncomfortable I didn’t care if I failed I just wanted her out of my car. So terrible, she just seemed tired and annoyed to be here it was 10:20am her day had just started. It’s so unfair for me to have to repay because she was in a bad mood.

This is a typical government place. You wait long times and people are far and few between not to mention stretched thin. Irritable and short with reply they also have to answer phones... Or not! I've called 19 times in the past hour and a half and on the 20th call it didn't even ring just right to a full voicemail. I can tell someone just took the phone off the hook. Not sure why I am writing this review because it will just be time wasted, like the time I wasted there today! No one from Drive Test will read it or do anything with it. There is 0 accountability, 0 customer service and 0 concern for wasting your time. Brought my son in at around 3:00 pm to write his G1 and M1. Sat forever in the waiting room. Finally it was his turn. While writing the G1 portion he was interrupted with 'you only have 3 minutes left because we are closing'. He rushed through it but didn't even have time to read the questions. Obviously, he failed. In addition, they didn't let him write his M1 portion. When I inquired about that the answer was 'oh, he was supposed to do the M1 as well? Well, too bad, I already shut my computer off, you'll have to come back another day'. It was supposed to be an exciting day for him, he was so pumped to go for a ride when he got home. But, now he's just sitting there upset. And...to add insult to injury we will probably have to pay an additional fee to write the test again. Of course there is no recourse, just some advice. Get there early, don't plan anything for the rest of the day and have no expectations.

If I could give zero stars I would. The DriveTest system is painfully slow, cumbersome, and hangs up, resulting in additional charges on my credit card. I cannot believe that so few dates are available. If you fail your test (for partially blocking a back entrance to a mall because of a transit bus - everything else was perfect), you have to wait 2 months or more to find another test date which is beyond the expiry date of the G2 license. Hire some blooming staff people!! This is outrageous!!

The phone system is terrible, the automated person can't understand humans and disconnects every time is says its connecting me to an agent. It is not convenient for everyone to drive there so over the phone and website are preferred but they are sorely lacking in both departments! Waited 40 minutes to get connected with someone on the phone to book my road test, and as soon I was about to book my test, I got hung up on. Not to mention, the automated phone system is terrible. There is no way to skip the prerecorded message that takes 5 minutes to sit through. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worst place to go! They kept us waiting for over an hour, kept telling us to wait they are just behind. Then when we complained they said sorry, your name wasn't processed. then we had to wait another 45 minutes for the evaluator to come. When I spoke up, another mother came to listen and she said her son was waiting just as long. The supervisor then said 4 others were not processed and I asked why no one said anything to the waiting teenagers and she said the kiosk states to come in after 30 minutes. I said your system was done and we were processed at the desk and your attendant obviously lied when he said everything was fine. They lie and cover for each other. Believe your kids and don't trust these adults!!

With an extremely poor service like this drivetest, why does it still exist and not being shut down? Seems like nobody cares. Took 6 months to wait for a full G drivetest, then the examiner failed me. Probably depends on the mood of the examiner on that day. My short, blonde greasy hair lady is on the mood on my test day you all. Smell full of smoke at the moment open and get in my car, yelling and very rude. If you come on your test and see that lady, good luck next time then. Ah dont even mention you need to spend more time pass the test time ( approximately 2 more hours ) to wait for the examiner to arrive. Forget about rebooking online, you have no chance. Either go to different location with strange roads or let your driver license expire. My adivce to you is “Never take off your mask while sitting and waiting in your car”.

Hello , I would like to give my comment on the driving exam instructor I think his name was Rob in St Catherene, he’s tall , in 40’s with grey beard . I did my G test and I failed and I admit I did some mistakes he mentioned to me , the problem was on the way I was treated , he was rude, he raised his voice at me when he is not supposed to no matter what , the traffic light was red, and he asked me to turn right , so I was waiting for the way to be clear I saw a car coming ,for me it was close to pass , for him it was not and he shouted please move you are causing traffic behind you . One more thing to mention, when he entered the car he smells all over cigarette , I’m 8 months pregnant I don’t need to smell such a thing . I don’t know if anyone from the service centre will read or care about the comment , but as an advice work on your customer service and the people who are working with you because it’s ruining your reputation. Good luck .

The fellow who answered the phone when I called for information was very friendly and helpful. When I appeared in person to exchange my out of province license, both the lady who took my initial information and the man who provided the Ontario license were very pleasant. After the temporary license procedure was complete and payment rendered, I commented that I don’t actually need my glasses for driving so should have taken them off for the eye test. The fellow cheerfully proceeded to redo everything without my glasses which I was certainly not expecting but really appreciated. There is no way the service provided there today could have been improved upon. Thank you.

Been sitting here waiting over 3 hours from my appointment time. I keep getting told "somebody will be out soon" repeatedly. Get your stuff together. The way you treat patrons is despicable at best. Another Ontario government agency in a nutshell. On top of it they make you wait 3 hours, you cannot leave your car, nor is there any washroom facilities available because of the pandemic. The drive testers are rude when trying to ask them questions. Absolutely thrilling experience dealing with this dumpster fire of an "establishment".

I went with my daughter to get her license, we didn't have her health card so we were told we either needed the health card or to have a form signed. We waited in line for over an hour that day. Today we brought the health card, waited for over an hour again , to be told by the same lady that the health card wasn't good enough . If she had given me the appropriate information the first time, I wouldn't have to waste even more time waiting in line! Horrible, horrible service . It's too bad they are the only place available, they probably don't care they have horrible reviews .

Yes Covid has presented challenges to the whole province but for anyone to wait over two hours outside and then be told they need something else is ridiculous. I had an instructor named Georgina who was extremely rude!!! I have had her in the past for my G2 test and she was the same way although that time she passed me so I didn't care to complain. Just my luck I get her again for my G. Entering my rental car I had just picked up she asked me to turn down the air as it was loud, seeing as this was not my car and I had just got it, it took me a second to locate the correct buttons. She then rudely asked " What, you don't know how to turn down your air?" I replied "my apologies its a rental, just one second". One minute into the test I had pulled up to a stop light to make a left hand turn, waiting for traffic to clear so I could safely proceed. I witnessed one more car that had to pass before making the turn. Georgina FOR SOME REASON assumed that I was going to turn before this last car I ALSO witnessed and began to literally scream at me and tell me I can not go because it is not safe etc. (Mind you I didn't even move the car) When I tried to explain that my plan and intention was and is to go after THAT last car (WHICH I DID) she verbally cut me of and said "What, when we're you gonna go, the only safe time to go was now" and might I add once again THAT IS WHEN I MADE THE TURN, after the last passing car which at that point the light had then turned yellow and I then proceeded through after its passing. I continued and completed my test although throughout it she continued to yell and throw arms. I remained calm and at the end I was told I failed due to that left hand turn. Now at this point I couldn't argue with the woman because well its her decision but what needs to be addressed is her attitude and the way she handles and scams people. You can not or should not be allowed to scream at drivers or throw your arms in front of their face especially when they are nervous, NOR tell me anything other than my directions of what I am being tested for and where to go. When I went to complain face to face they immediately knew who I was talking about and agreed that her attitude can be (let me put in in their words) "A bit sometimes" and agreed that they were confused as to why I had failed since i passed everything else and that unfortunately these things don't get over turned. So not only did I waste $300 in total from having to use a rental and being scammed when booking the slot (My fault) AND then being wrongfully failed. I can not do ANYTHING about it AT ALL... Well except book and pay again :) Georgina works at the St. Catharines location but fills in for Hamilton at times, just a heads up.

He didn’t pass my wife because reason when she was turning left on street without light or stop sign and oncoming car was approached she waited to make it safely. Theres an old lady with glasses and white hair she's an instructor. She looks like she is wearing diapers, let me tell you what happened today. I had my test at 115 pm and she showed up to my car at around 330 which was cool you expect a little bit of extra waiting, however it was cold and my mom was in the car with me and we were both wearing a mask. The instructor I think her name is debrah with with white hair and glasses said why are you in the car only the driver should be in there and I admit that is my fault for not following instructions. I told the instructor that I was sorry and she said how do I know you guys have covid or not, I told her that we were both negative and then she said open your windows to air out the car and another instructor will be with you next. Mind you we bad on our mask at all times. I did exactly what she asked me to do. What she did was take me off the the list and I was sitting there clueless not knowing what she did I waited in my car for another 2 hours. Moments afterwards My mom and I see deborah going to a car and that vehicle had two people inside, the exact same thing that happened with my mom and I, but deborah the fat lady decided to continue with their road test. If this is not discrimination at its finest then I don't know what is. Stay away from this place I have never seen disrespect like this before.

This place is the absolute worst - save yourself your time & peace before booking here. I had a **booked** G road test for 11.30am. I arrived at 11.20, checked in and waited in my car til an instructor comes. I waited 30 mins, then an hour before I went to see what was going on. They just told me they were running behind. Waited another hour, and still no show. They kept telling me to just wait in the car. I waited a total of 2.5 fricken long hours before I said f it, and wanted a refunded.They wouldnt give it to me, made me wait another 45 mins just to tell me the best they can do is get me to rebook or wait until there is an opening for a road test....... ABSOLUTE WORST 3 hours of my life.

worst drive test centre in all of Ontario it is a shock this place is open. Very rude staff, my driving instructor came into the car very unprofessionally, didnt even ask me how are you made me feel even more nervous than I was. Failed me for going 35km/hr in a school zone, said I can't go over 30 km/hr. When I searched the ontario rules online it says any speed between 30-40km/hr. I knew as soon as the instructor came into the car that there was going to be a problem. after the test he told me where he deducted all the points and his reasons for deduction where laughable. After he told me the few things I did wrong he left the car without saying a word, I waited for 20 minutes confused in my car. when I went inside to see what is happening he said I am free to go, no bye no have a nice day my instructor just left the car!!! what a joke do not book here at all costs

If you are a non-native speaker and be treated unfairly. Believe me, just pull you car over street, let those trash walk back to center. You don’t need wait the results at the end! They just a group of losers in real life. This review is for a middle age white woman with tattoo on left forearm. This woman is a examiner. This is an ridiculous road test story. Firstly, This woman was yelling all the time, and use bad words frequently during the driving process. I promise I did great cause I have seven years driving experience in Canada. This woman even insulted me with bad words just because the car is automatically locked. It’s ok for me, I can understand because she looks like uneducated. Furthermore, she use “oh my gosh” for four times, “jesus” for two time to show her inpatient attitude. Secondly, when I did a left turn, I had already wait at center of crossroad at green light, and I made sure Car on the outside of white line. When the yellow light on, I made turn. That was a really short time yellow light. When the red light on, I have already finished turn. Then this woman yelling loudly “that’s your red light! Why you turn when your red light” for three times, she interrupted my driving with her arm shaking and seek for a answer. I didn’t answer her question because I know I have no evidence. At the time I turned out, she looked down on her iPad and doing nothing with it. When I finished turn, the light turns red, she raised her head and yelled “Why turned out in red light. ”I can tell she did this on propose. Thirdly, I was told to do a parking behind a car which on someone’s driveway. She even asked me to let incoming cars go first in my parking process. She also yelling at me like I don’t understand English. She interrupted me twice for give way for car behind. I don’t know why I have to do this because I did parking perfectly with really short time. That’s all she did in the road process. I promise this is a honest review.I did road test at six years ago with a tall black examiner. He was gentle and professional, I can clearly understand mistakes that I made. I also heard others’ road test experience. I believe this is unfair test. At last, I want to figure out why she treat me like that. I drive my own car which so called “luxury brand”. I just want save money for car rentals. I am young female and I am a non-native speaker. It’s not a big deal to failed exam, cause I still got time and sixty bucks to do it again. But the unfair experience make me uncomfortable. I will put couple camera and road recorder in the vehicle to do the test again. If i be treated like this again, I will post it on YouTube to help other people. Further more, I will wait her in center everyday and teach her how to respect everyone.

I had a pleasant experience with this DriveTest in comparison to the one in Hamilton that I usual deal with. I was here for my F class license and the examiner with the red truck was very nice. On my initial test date I had not realized I required to bring a Daily Inspection sheet and was unable to write but he was courteous enough to provide some guidance as to how to go about doing the actual road test/inspection as I was self-teaching myself in preparation. On the rebook date, I was able to do the road test and passed easily. The other reviewers who had any issue with this examiner most likely weren't competent drivers and trying to blame others for their mistakes. I seen a few Indian guys failing to do a simple reverse park when doing their exam and it's obvious why they weren't successful in obtaining their license.

Went to get my full G on June 26 2019, and passed(instructor was wonderful, can’t remember her name though), and I went inside to go get my temp licence. The lady at the desk only told me to keep my old and temp licence together until my new one comes in, which is what I did. 3 weeks later, I get a letter from service Ontario that I need to renew my licence...so I looked at the temp licence that was given to me when I passed, only to find out it had expired the day after I passed my test. I’ve been driving around with an expired licence, because the woman told me my new one was on the way, and that one was all I needed. If I’d have gotten pulled over, I’d have been in so much trouble... Please instruct your employees to give clearer instructions so this doesn’t happen to someone else...

I went in for my G test and there was a certain kiosk to book in for your road test. The staff were noticably friendly. The kiosk wait line was 5 mins and I was sitting in my car for less then 2 mins before my instructor came to my window. My instructor was Amy and she was lovely. Very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and confident. I did however have to go down a couple rural roads and she made me do an emergency stop, 3 point turn and after getting off the hwy I had to do a parallel park down another road. I wasnt expecting that to be on the G test. I was happy and very relieved that I passed. Overall I had a good experience. I was in and out with the whole thing taking approx 45 minutes.

Unacceptable wait times. Show up before close to be told no longer accepting because too many people. Go there next day at opening to switch drivers licence from out of province. Wait over an hour. Get to the desk, almost finalized to be told by a trainee oops you have unpaid fines. Okay a little frustrating but not their fault. Go to a service Ontario to pay the fine return at 11:30am, get back in queue and still waiting at 3pm. Be prepared to spend your WHOLE DAY to get anything done at this office!

Terrible service. I went with my cousin who is from India to apply for his G1. He had his Indian international license with him. For some reason they kept saying “it did not meet the requirements”. We kept asking what it was missing, where we could find the guidelines of what is required, no one could answer this question. They directed me to a website that again had no information and when i asked again, they literally had no idea. Anyway, my cousin called the head office and his international license was accepted and they did not know why it was rejected in the first place. Again, poor service and knowledge of the staff.

Terrible booking system, Called the drive test booking line you get a message "all of our agents are busy try our online services, or call the number you just called" then the systems hangs up on you, no option to leave your phone number in a que.I tried the online booking system for it to error out my guess to many queries for the system to handle, how about revamping the system to handle more queries and customer's to deal with the back log of testing, I've called 16 times today tried over 40 times on the website all the same dead end.

I will give you two stars. Both of which are for the kind lady, in TORONTO, that answered the phone after the automated message was tired of hearing me yell "no" at it. First off all, why is St. Catharines not listed as a city? That strikes me as absurd. Secondly, how hard is it to connect a phone number to an actual location so we can talk to a real person instead of having this absolute garbage automated messaging system? Seriously, it's terrible and just infuriates the listener because they seemingly never get to the option you're looking for AND it never shuts up. My question took literally less than a minute to answer when a person came on the line but I was on the phone for 15. That being said, I hate to imagine how much of peoples time you have collectively wasted.

The stars are for everyone except a male examiner, a slim male examiner with short hair.He is the worst in worst examiner in St Catherines ever!!! My test was cancelled twice by this guy during a year. Everyone's license is valid during the pandemic, no matter it was written expired or no, your license is still valid as least untill next year. The reason why he refused to let me take the test is because my drive licence was expired without green paper(temperary license). I need to renew my licence, yes I know, but I can't renew it online that's why I need to take the G test!!! And my green paper is expired too, all I need to do is to take the test asap. The attitude of this guy is like, he just wanna cancell my test and sit back to have a rest, he did not want to work at all!!! His attitude is like world is in the end and he did not care anything. As I mentioned, everyone else in the center are super nice and patient. The young examiner with blond hair lady her name is Amy or Emie, the G1 examiner sitting in the G1 test room(a trully gentleman), and the gentlemen at the door who was responsible to direct candidates (super super patient and nice) to check in. My experience was very bad. I had my test last month of AZ and my examiner was Rob and his attitude was very negative and always showing you his attitude, I know I made some mistakes and if I made mistake in test then just fail me but he like I did Sin and he talked rudely and in high voice with me and that is senseless. Just because of him I suffered with stress and still sometimes feeling stressed because of his attitude. I believe drive test centre staff have to learn professionalism and politeness too. I dont want to advise anyone to go with them.

I had Derick as my examiner, and his calm and professional demeanor helped me to relax, and thankfully I passed my G2 test! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I know it can be a pain to deal with licensing, but I would say this place is one of the better ones to go to!

I would give it zero star, if I could. No dedicated place to park for tests. The parking lot is very tight and not easy to get out. Doesn't matter how well you drive, the instructor can fail you if you did not come out of your parking spot properly.

Every experience I have had at this location has been overwhelmingly negative. Their booking system is pathetic. They cancel your appointment days prior due to no fault of your own and then give you no priority when rebooking, often making you wait months to get back in, just to cancel again. Pathetic. Go to another location if possible

My brother had G road test today.It was his second try with the same female examiner.She was racist and very rude to him. According to HER -he didn’t check the blind spots. But actually he did because in his first try it was the same reason.He was focusing on blind spots this time and still she was not satisfied. They failed me when i took my full G and i drive perfectly. Never been in an accident , always have people tell me how great of a driver i am. The old man who was in the car taking notes was staring down the entire time could see in my peripherals and he said he failed me because i didnt check my blind spots which i always shoulder check and did everytime he jist was to busy staring down because his mind was already set to fail me. The way i see it you guys are liars and thieves.

I did my G2 today.. The woman instructor yelled at me the whole time.. I lost my confidence my eyes were teary throughout the rest because I didn't understand why she yelled to begin with. If I had done a mistake she should have written it down and communicate it later she did not have to kill my confidence in that manner. Being a person of colour can be difficult at such times.. It's sad how someone would intentionally take away the only thing you need to pass in the name of correcting you. I have never been that frustrated.

I don't know what walking tumour came up with their automated calling system but every single time without fail the system cannot pick up basic information that it requires me to verbally input. I can't go in personally to book my test as the testing center I'm using is an hour and a half away. During the lockdown this call system has been the number one block to me getting anything done within the company.. I want to give you money, i want to book my test and get on with my life but whoever is in charge is so incompetent they cant even do that properly.

I waited for one hour! The tester starts with me on the wrong foot to begin with and starts telling me off for not wearing my mask all the way up in my car. Well, go by the appointment dates then people! I literally left work and went for my test and it was a bad experience!

I had very good experience with this test center. I had G test scheduled here. I had to get the test confirmation number from kiosk. Within 5 minutes, my driving test began. Instructor was very good. She provided clear instructions. She was cool and she was not over or below friendly. Once I passed the test, I had to wait little on Window 6 but it was not bad as compared to GTA test centers. People working there were friendly. I recommend this test center.

Be super careful doing your M2 Exit. They have recently added orange markings (not seen on satellite images) enforcing one-way traffic on their parking lot that are obstructed by parked vehicles. They will disqualify you for "impending traffic" (even when you did not!) if you make the left turn once you enter the lot at the end of the exam. Also they will try to nick you during the emergency stop near a fire hydrant (you have to stop further away!). I hope this helps someone. Book your exams online if you want fast processing! Lines are long!

Driving test in the morning. Booked off a day of work. When the instructor came into my car, she informed me I have to rebook as my license states I need corrective glasses to drive. I informed her I had Lasik and perfect vision now. Updated to show I do not need corrective glasses to drive. Ask if I can retake the test today as I took the day off work. My son has surgery coming up and I cannot take more days off for a driving test. Staff could care less. Was sitting on standby for 4.5 hours in the waiting room. Asked at the end of there was a chance I could be seen today? NOPE! Everyone is gone home.

My wife booked a road test 2 months prior. Showed up 30 min beforehand and was turned away by service Ontario employee stating that they were 2.5 hours behind and we would have to reschedule and go back to the bottom of the list. We did not receive any emails or phone calls to cancel the appointment and we looked online before we arrived. Very disappointed in the way we where treated. Looks like the beginning of March is the new date. Just trying to stay legal and follow the rules is proving very difficult in Ontario. When will this government make things easier for the people who have to work and pay taxes. If any real business was run this way they would have closed long ago.

terrible, I came back to Canada after being out of Canada for 25 yrs. I go to service Ontario in the falls and wait forever to be told I have to go to st. Catherines, with an expired license and no car. so I decide to call this office to make sure i'm not wasting my time again, I'm on hold forever and I don't think i'm going to talk to anyone today. Ontario sucks, when I went to NY I went to the local DMV and had my license in 10 minutes. but everyone make sure you change your address in 60 days. good luck with that. BOOOOOO these people.

The line was so slow due to shortage of staff that people in line started sharing out what they were there for and another young man says he had to come back because they made a mistake. All the while, by the time I got to my place in line I was told my identification was not good enough. Even though my ID was fine for the same Licence change over in BC. Yet she tells me my Canadian ID is not good enough. The website verified my identification as valid. False advertising.

Most of staff are good and polite except one Lady her name is Eimie. She has very bad attitude and so mean. From the beginning I had the feeling she was trying to get me down. So try to avoid her. I already complained to the manager who was a very nice person but she stood at her side. I hope she will keep an eye on Eimie .

I wish i could give zero stars. They cancelled my test twice while i was there because they were understaffed I got cancellation email in my car 15 minutes before my test time. Today this tall blond girl took my test . she was horrible kept yelling as if I was someone who couldn't understand the language. There is something really wrong with her she was literally rolling her eyes at me like some teenager. Very immature and unprofessional. when we got back I told her not to talk to me like that and she was very rude and disrespectful which made her angry. She slammed my car door like it was her daddy's car. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor by conducting the test.

We came in for an 11:25 test. My daughter accidentally locked the steering wheel and wasn't able to get the car to start. The evaluator gave us advice on where to get someone to help then assured us we could get the test done. We were ready before 12 and came in as instructed to tell them we were ready. At 4:25 they handed my daughter her license back and told her that they couldn't do it today. An entire day wasted!!! Why not be honest from the get go and let us decide if we wanted to sit for 5 and a half hours?!??? Worst service I've ever received. The woman who originally was supposed to do the test wouldn't even look at us later in the day as we continued to sit waiting. I'll never be back to that location. Ever.

Instructor was very unkind from the start of my G2 test, she was harsh the whole time and thoroughly rattled me, leaving me in tears at the end which is so unprofessional and embarrassing. Was an older grey haired woman. Place is constantly busy, no parking which is usually important in a drive test center and never any available seating. Will be going to the mississauga one next time.

The person I spoke to over the phone was very rude. awful automated service as well that doesn't recognize St. Catherine as a city, and if you try to book a road test online through the website prepare to spend 2 hours through loading screens and error screens that keep reverting your changes.
