I just finished the 4-day course and it was amazing. The instructor, Saqib Javed, was very informative and very entertaining. He really knew what he was doing and it was worth it. I'd definitely recommend! Edit: At first, I had an instructor named Iftikhar Malik. Was really disappointed with him. Gave no information while I was driving and hands down a waste of time. I contacted the school for new driving instructor and they set me up driving with an instructor named Sailesh and he's just astounding. His teaching is amazing and he's a funny guy. I would 100% recommend having him as an instructor. Another edit: this is a great driving school, hands down. Sailesh is an amazing driving instructor who will ensure that you'll pass. I just did my G2 test and passed first try. I still 100% would recommend this driving school!

I have not driven much before scheduling my G test and was very nervous about driving on the highway but his instructions were clear and his advice helped increase my confidence in my driving skills. When booking the in-class sessions, I didn't really know what to expect, but I was a little nervous. However, after having Aziz teach the in-class lessons, it made the whole experience enjoyable. I had Sailesh and he was absolutely the best teacher. He was very knowledgeable about driving and he was very helpful anytime I was unsure about something, I was able to ask him and he would give me an answer and then demonstrate how to do what I was unsure of. As someone with anxiety, Sailesh's approach helped me feel more confident lesson after lesson and I was well prepared for my G2 test that I passed yesterday. Sailesh is your man if you need to study for your G2 or G test. I will be going driving with Sailesh again when I am ready to practice for my G test. Thank you Sailesh

I was able to get quality in class lessons from Ejaz Mughal, who made me feel prepared to get on the road as he refreshed my memory regarding all the rules of the road. Only took a star off because of some complications in terms of scheduling, but other than that my money was well spent at AMB!

In class was ok. But the driving instructor I was assigned to was unprofessional. I understand on bad weathers its best not to drive. But rescheduling 3 hours before the drive is not what I expected from them. Even in the handout we have to give them 24 hour notice but it doesn't mean its ok for them to do it.

AMB was amazing! I learned so much and it was very educational while fun and engaging at the same time. They are very organized and especially Bob is a really amazing instructor and he makes all the classes fun and makes jokes all the time! I learned so much and he made it easier for us to understand the rules and prepared us to be more confident about driving And it made me so excited to start my lessons with my driver, Bob helped us a lot and made the classes easy and fun! They were easy going and you might think that drivers Ed is boring , but TRUST ME, this AMB location made it awesome! I'm in high school and I'm getting my G2 and this class was a breeze all thanks to the staff and especially Bob! He deserves great recognition as he was just so friendly and taught us so much! I loved it and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone even kids in high school this is the place to go!

Had a really questionable first experience at another AMB location so I transferred to this location. Really unpleasant first instructor. However, at AMB Scarborough location Ejaz was a great instructor because he was able to make really dry content interesting. I JUST PASSED MY G2 TEST IN ONE GO :'D I tend to freak out easily and don't learn as fast as many but I never give up. Sailesh was my instructor until this morning and he walked me through every step; from planning how long it would take for me to understand everything I need to know vs how long it will take for it to become second nature, great tips and tricks for parking, and being a proper driver vs defensive driver. When I first went to AMB to pay for my lessons I had a bad experience, I was sceptical of the service I was going to receive from my driving instructor. When I was greeted by the driving instructor Sailesh on my first lesson I was pleasantly surprised, I was greeted by such a kind soul, he takes the time to get to know his students so he knows their learning techniques. He is very patient and understanding, not only does he teach you the basic rules of the road he teaches you awareness and safety for yourself and other people on the road. First time I failed the test I was discouraged, but he didn't give up on me he encouraged me to keep trying that it's achievable. I would highly recommend Sailesh, I feel blessed to have him as a driving instructor, I couldn't imagine a more perfect teacher. Thank you for helping me get my g2.

At another driving school, my experience was so terrible that I stayed away from driving for years. When I finally got around to trying to get my license again, I looked up some reviews and tried AMB. My instructor Nasim was incredible. He was skilled at teaching without being overly aggressive, but also wasn't a pushover like a previous instructor from another school. With his help, I went from barely knowing how to drive to getting my G2 within a few months.

It took me a long time to work up the courage to try driving. I finally signed up, and Anish was my driving instructor. The first lesson I thought maybe I'd go around my quiet block at most, but by the end he got me right onto the main road and coached me through my nerves. Anish explained clearly and logically how to keep the car centered, change lanes safely, navigate busy parking lots(!), and basically all the things I had no idea how to do. He was personable and encouraging, made me feel safe when driving, and I can actually drive because of him! If you sign up for AMB (I went with them because the price was decent and reviews good) then I recommend asking for Anish for a driving instructor.

My teacher was Ejaz M. and he was great! He is interactive, funny, and he uses past students' errors to apply it to his teachings. He will incorporate them, because it shows that it's normal to make mistakes, but the key is learning how to avoid and manage them. Overall great person, great teacher, and very comical without being over the top. He is very knowledgable, but polite and teaches when he needs to (isn't carried away by jokes). Honestly, I wouldn't be mad if I had to take this class again! :)

Amb Driving school can be split up into 2 main parts. Firstly is the classroom which goes over pretty anything and everything you need to know; Which will give you a good baseline to start driving. Although be sure to ensure that your notes aren't too messy =p. Secondarily is the driving instructor which you are assigned. Sailesh (which was my instructor) was a good overall driving instructor and was fairly knowledgeable. He was stern but fair although a bit zealous at times. Overall recommendations : Great driving school, ensure neat handwritting for your notes, and extra lessons are 30 dollars per hour (not including the given hours by the school) which is the standard rate for other schools/teachers as well.

He was easygoing, very funny and always kept the class engaged with his personal stories containing real life examples of content taught in class. Fat was trimmed. A lot of the focus was put on things we absolutely NEEDED to know, which made those things stick with me all the more. All in all, 10/10 review of the whole experience. Learning to drive isn't easy and it all depends on how comfortable you are as a person on the road. Personally, when I first got on the wheel with my driving instructor Muhammad Saeed from AMB driving school, he taught me everything on how to be a safe driver, which is important especially where there is always the presence of careless drivers. Saeed was an amazing instructor and although he knew parking was not my best suite, I passed my G2 test on my first attempt. I especially thank Saeed and Fatah for all the hard work and effort they put in. Choosing AMB was by far an excellent choice for my driving ed course and for those who are considering a driving school, AMB is out there as being a competitive driving school.

They grab your money. Sit you down in a room in a stinky building because there is no garbage removal and the moment you arrive there the smell of garbage welcomes you. Once you go there they have a booklet and they have the answers already on the display. So, you're just writing down the answers. Then a guy walks in with Tim's gift card and asks you to leave a positive review in an exchange for Tim's 5 dollars card he asks you to show him the review so he can give you the card (how pathetic is that?). That's when you realize where 5-star reviews come from which is illegal to purchase reviews. They ask you to call back so they can arrange you with an instructor. When you call they tell you that their office won't pick up the phone and you need to walk in to arrange. When you go back they just give you a phone number to you sort it out with the instructor. The instructor after a week gets back to you telling you he can't and you call back again and the story continues. it's been 3 months and I have not had a minute of training and they won't give my money back.

I had my first ever lesson with Anish a few years ago (I'd guess it was around 2018) and decided to have him as my instructor for my full G. It was a great decision on my part considering the results of my test. He is great at fixing beginner's mistakes and a proficient communicator. Anish is always prepared with good advice to help you remember what you'll need to know for the tests and onwards. If you tell him what you are worried about in driving, he'll practice with you until you are confident in your skills. I wholeheartedly recommend AMB driving school and Anish Sharma as a driving instructor if you hope to pass on your first try! I will definitely be bringing any of my family and friends here when they want their licenses :)))

I did not enjoy my time learning how to drive here. The in class lessons are alright. However, the instructor I had for in car lessons often made racist and sexist remarks like "all the Asian girls I taught always cried after failing their tests", "hope you're not a bad driver like your parents" and so on. I would not recommend this to anyone. (Edit: I emailed them with this complaint, they offered a few hours of driving lesson in exchange for removing this review. Be weary of their rating)

The first instructor I was assigned, Yusef, was careless and unprofessional. He failed to show up to my first lesson and did not bother to call/text. After calling and texting him, he finally messages back an hour later and had the nerve to say he's busy and needs to reschedule. Waste of time. Mr Naseer is a good teacher and he is best for people who are nervous drivers or moving in from other country and trying to get a Canadian license. His 25 years of career as an instructor really helps people in getting the confidence to drive in Canada. He is available within a weeks schedule and if you are going for a test with him he makes sure you are prepared well. His personal score is above 90 percentage when it comes to people who have take lessons from him and passed the road test. Definitely recommend Mr Malik's as a driving instructor.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The in class instructor bribes the students there to give 5 star reviews by giving them a $5 tim horton's card. My driving instructor was also really horrible. Did not prepare me enough. Definitely don't come here

Scammers!! They ask you to write a positive review in exchange for a $5 Tim's gift card before you even start your in-car lessons! which are terrible by the way.. the lessons are so far apart and my instructor would show up with another student in the car and we would spend the first part of the lesson driving to the student's house or wherever and the last part of the lesson in picking up a different student!!! Not to mention he would be eating sandwiches and drinking tea/coffee during the lesson or talking on the phone with his family/friends!! Very unprofessional! save yourself time and money and go to a different school.

when i first started my 10 hours over a year ago I had an instructor named Nasim and he was terrible. It was my first time driving and he consistently kept disrespecting me(rolling his eyes, giving me attitude and even told me that he believes i’ll never be able to drive, that type of behaviour is inappropriate and I hope that AMB takes action. After I called them regarding switching instructors they gave me Sailesh who was great and brought my confidence up. He was funny but at the same time extremely smart with his instincts however occasionally would check his phone which I knew wasn’t a big deal but was still a hazard.

I was young when I took the pack (10hour in class lesson and 10hour driving lesson). In the summer, all the instructor were busy. My instructor would take off his socks during the lesson, not professional.

I signed up for the package: in class lesson was normal except they ask you to give a GOOD review in order to get a Tim's gift card, the driving lessons was nightmares, during summer time I was stuck with a disgusting instructor. I had a great time at AMB driving school in Scarborough. I learned a lot and gained valuable knowlwdge and self confidence in my driving skills. I would recommend this course for G1 licence holders. A follow up 6 months later, I began my in car lessons with Sailesh as my instructor late last year. Prior to that I had no driving experience whatsoever. In fact, I had just scrapped the side fender off of a rental car my brother let me test drive a month earlier. A costly mistake for a rookie like me which instilled further fear in my heart about driving. Sailesh put me at ease from our first encounter, and thus my first two hour in car lesson went off without a problem. Many driving lessons soon followed, and I began learning driving techniques, practicing all the theory rules I studied in class. Sailesh was helpful, patient, persistent when I doubted myself until I slowly gained knowledge, skills and confidence. All the hard work has finally paid off when on Friday , March 8th , I passed the G2 road test on my first attempt. I came along way thanks to my instructor, Sailesh, who believed in me and helped me gain confidence and the know- how to drive .

Great driving school! In-class was fun and fast, straight to the point. In car lessons were very helpful. I had Sailesh for in-car lessons - I totally recommend him! He will teach you efficiently and is tough, but in a good fatherly way lol, just learn from your mistakes and he will guide you.I was on the main roads my very first lesson aka my first time sitting in the driver's seat!! All his commentary will stick in your head. especially "check blind spot" so you definitely won't forget on the day of your test haha!! Passed g2 first attempt!

Do NOT recommend to go here for driving school! They are horrible to deal with! Do yourself a favor and avoid this 'school'! I purchased their driving class and in car lessons for my boyfriend for his birthday as there location is near by us. The whole thing was very unorganized and an unpleasant experience. Trying to get him set up with an instructor for the in car lessons was ridiculous! You call to set up lessons and then they tell you to go in to set this up. Why this was not able to be done over the phone right then and there still puzzles me! So you go in and they give you the WRONG number to call and tell you to set up your in car driving lessons with the driving instructor YOURSELF. I thought this couldn't be done over the phone LMAO! Anyways, you try contacting the instructor and the school again and they tell you they will call you back, but they never do. So you call again, and email and wait for months. Then decide it's not worth the stress or the time and schedule in car lessons with another school because they are not able to deliver in car lessons in a timely manner. Nightmare! Then the OWNER has the audacity to say it's Your Fault because you were calling the 'wrong' number, that his company provided you with. What a joke! This is not how you run a successful business and deal with paying customers. The only thing the owner takes seriously is replying to google reviews. This present was a waste of time and money. I'm so sorry I purchased it for him. I feel bad he had to go through all this stress with AMB driving school. Please do yourself a favour and book with a legitimate driving school!

I failed to pass my G test twice last year, so this time around I decided to get some in-car lessons with AMB Driving School to brush up on my skills. I also work from home and sold my car so I didn’t have many opportunities to practice driving. Naseer Malik was my driving instructor and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from him especially when it came to highway driving. After each lesson, he would list the skills I needed to work on and practice, so I could focus on improving my weaknesses. Overall, the course was good, Ejaz the in class instructor made the class more interesting. The in class mostly consisted of how to be a safe driver rather than a defensive driver. Although, AMB is ministry approved so regardless of where you go you'll be learning the same thing. What makes AMB great is the classroom engagement. After taking AMB driving school I feel more confident in my driving abilities. I highly recommend it for beginner drivers with little to no experience. My only criticism is that there is no water fountain and no where to eat lunch, which is not ideal for a 9am- 2pm course.

Ejaz was a nice instructor and made sure we remembered everything well. After that you are assigned an instructor. Sailesh was super nice and really encouraging. I did mess up a lot but he made sure to correct me on my mistakes. I was always really nervous driving but he made sure to make me feel more relaxed. After the driving lessons I had my g2 test scheduled about a month later. I was really nervous but I passed on my first try. Overall I really recommend amb driving school.

terrible experience! Most of our in class sections are watching the slides, videos and maybe some games to enhance your memory. Our instructor didn't know how to promote class interaction. Silent and quiet class, but at least he knows how to respect to people and do his job. However, my in car instructor is terrible, he is very impatient. He speaks too fast, and I can't quiet get it, but he just shows it's not his problem and very arrogant guy. I feel uncomfortable.

Ejaz was a great instructor! Made learning very easy. I’m leaving the class feeling more comfortable and more confident about driving. I was skeptical at first, but I’m happy to say I’d definitely recommend this to other new drivers.

Great, comprehensive class! Ejaz Mughal engages the class with the use of subtle humor and nice use of anecdotes in his lessons to keep the class interacting and fun. Very informative, and I highly recommend AMB! : )
