I took my test today in Surrey after taking 6 lessons from Amrit Driving School. I passed the test and the examiner complimented my driving techniques/skills. Uncle ji is a very focused and attentive instructor, who pays full attention to you during the entire lesson. Although he is super polite and humble, he never misses to point out any error or mistake. He never loses his cool or talks on the phone during the lesson and is always 5 minutes before time. Uncle ji showed me all the possible test routes in Surrey, and the examiner took me on a route that I was comfortable with. Uncle ji's parking techniques are perfect (my examiner was very impressed with my parallel park). Uncle ji might be a little more expensive than the other driving schools around, but it is worth every penny. Would absolutely recommend to anyone taking their test in Surrey.

Amrit Driving School has to be the best one in surrey. The quality you receive for the price is impeccable. I see some people say that 50/hour is too expensive but to be perfectly honest I would pay 100/hour to receive the quality that is provided by the instructor. The instructor has tonnes of experience and teaches u the tricks and instills the confidence that is needed to be the best driver one can be. The instructor also focuses completely on the student and does not talk on the phone while instructing. I Highly recommend Amrit Driving School and am very happy with the service I have received. I took one lesson from Amrit ji before giving my class 5 road test. He covered everything in one hour and guided me on the common mistakes. He gave valuable inputs such as noting hazards and parking correctly on an uphill road, which were checked in my road test. He helped me perfect my reverse parking and gave tips on how to practice myself. He communicates well and catches all mistakes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Amrit Driving for school for the following reasons: 1.) UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - forcing student drivers to give him a Google 5 star review during the driving lesson. 2.) UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - he will get mad if you don't give him 5 stars rating and yell at the student driver. 3.) UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - Amrit keeps on promoting himself as the best and number 1 driver and its not even true because all he does is yell to students! 4.) UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - he will talk to a lot of people on his cellphone during the driving lesson, he even makes his phone on loud speaker! 5.) UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - he will not be available for driving lessons if you need him. He will cancel appointments and only meet you based on his preferred date and time. He doesn't value his student's learning at all. Overall, terrible experience with this instructor! I'm not even sure if he is considered as an instructor because of all his negative attitude towards his students! I wish he would stop teaching students how to drive and maybe he can just do something else more productive???

Best driving school possible. I do not know of anyone who did not pass the first time, including myself, my finance as well as my brother. Very knowledgeable, professional and polite. He not only cares for your success but also cares to provide you with the best experience possible. I know of someone who spent thousands of dollars with various driving schools and was unable to pass. However once she went to Amrit Driving School, she was able to pass after only a few lessons. He would make sure that you were aware of each mistake and he would tell you exactly what needed to be done to correct the mistake. He showed me two routes that would are common for the exam. Best instructor and best driving school!! I had to take minimal lessons with Amrit Driving School..What my previous instructor taught me in 5 lessons, I learned more in 2 lessons with him. The instructor is very knowledgable within this field, which you will notice with your lessons. He was able to clearly explain the rules as we were driving in an efficient manner. What make's him unique is, his methods and techniques he uses to teach students, which makes it easier for students to grasp. I had to take a maximum of two, one hour lessons, prior to my road test. He does charge by the hour, however, he will always spend additional time beyond the 1 hour time frame.

Wow! The driving instructor seems so perfect from all you guys review but guess what he’s not believe me. It’s because of all the good reviews that i decided to join this driving school but the experience that I’ve got from him is just horrified and disappointing. It was my first day with mr. Amrit and he forced me so much to write a review for him and if i didnt write the review he wouldn’t continue teaching me. He kept on insisting even when i told him i will write it later so that i can get more time to think about what i can write but no he forced me to write it in front of him and he told me to show him what i wrote so that he could tell me to add more stuff to it before i post it. I thought that reviews was suppose to be something you write by yourself and not having someone dictating you. I say that he’s a greedy man because he took 5 mins out of my lesson and made me write that review when i could’ve been learning so much in those 5 mins. Also, i was paying him for the lesson not for forcing me to write a review for him.I mean it was scaring I’ve never got someone forcing me to write a review before it was like he was bribing me. Amrit Driving School is very professional and kindhearted by far the best driving instructor anyone can have. I recommend him to anyone who wants to save money. I would in fact give him 10 stars out of 5 stars if it was possible because he is a master at what he does. I spent 7 lessons before with a female driving instructor and did not learn as much from her as i did from him. he taught me what took her 7 hours in just 15 minutes. <3 <3

Amrit driving school is the best school in surrey for new drivers. Instructor is really polite and guide you with confidence. Instructor really helps you to save money and time and also doesn’t talk on the phone while teaching. Charge is 50 dollars but every penny is worth it. Unlike other driving school instructors, where the instructors are usually busy on their phones and pay no attention to your needs or concerns. He understands the apprehension and nervousness of students very well and teaches all essential elements of the driving test thoroughly. When I went to the service desk of ICBC centre after my test, the person at the desk told me that you must have very good driving skills that you cleared your test with this very strict driving examiner (my examiner is considered one of the most strict examiners and I came to know about it once I cleared my exam). I took one lesson with this driving school before my class 5 test. Overall, it was helpful and I did improve (particularly in my braking skills) and learned/refreshed the rules of the road. However, I have taken lessons at other schools and honestly feel there are other schools available for similar price points that are more professional and have a better quality of instruction. It is true that this instructor does not yell but he does frequently grab the steering wheel while you are driving. I took issue with the fact that the instructor was very concerned with me submitting a google review for the lesson and 1) was on his phone for the last 10 minutes of the driving lesson sending me the link and 2) answered a phone call from another client while I was driving and put it on speaker phone. He took a lot of time during the lesson to praise his instruction which of course takes his attention away from the student's driving. I would recommend taking lessons from another driving school.
