I took the course to cross learning to ride motorcycles off my bucket list. With Randy's help I am now enjoying riding for my second season with a full license. It wasn't always easy, but worth it!

It has been an absolute pleasure being part of Randy's courses and getting to know him and his wife (and his animals!!). It has been a great course with very honest and revealing information about true-life situations, physics, function and practice. The atmosphere provided gives a sense of levity while providing facts, information and a pursuit of 'truly 'knowing' for ourselves' - individually - what we must expect from the bike, as opposed to what we may think we know. Great course! Great people! Met new friends! Ready to ride!

Great course that really prepares a new rider for the MST. Randy has the experience and training to inspire confidence and safe maneuvering, while delivering his unique curriculum in a relaxed, fun environment. Small classes, a variety of bikes to learn on, and burgers on Sunday. Cedar Motorcycle School sets the bar.

At the age 53 to start with motorcycles was not easy decision, I'm sooo glad I did and with Randy's help it was way too easy. First year I did 28 000 km and still can't get enough - Thank You Randy !!!!!

Randy was a great instructor. Was on his first course of 2017. The weather created a bit of a challenge ( snow in March on the island.. go figure). We had to adapt the class.. but all went well. The instruction was very informative, and will hopefully continue to keep me safe on the road...keep up the great work!

Randy is down to earth, has a great selection of bikes and is incredibly thorough with his process. I learnt so many crucial things that have already saved my life several times over. Before the course I was trying to teach myself and constantly stalling the bike, had no clue how to do truly tight turns from a stop, and clutch/throttle control. I took him up on some private riding training to prepare me for my ICBC road test and because of his training, I was able to Ace the test, complete all maneuvers and I am now beginning to pursue my dream to Race Motorbikes and taking racer training courses in Vancouver. I always highly recommend that ANYONE riding a bike take his course, to ensure you are starting your journey with strong and correct fundamentals. His ongoing support as a friend and giving back to the biking community by hosting events and get togethers is awesome too.

Randy was an excellent instructor. The detailed care and clear guidance that he offered in his advanced theory program has become central to how I ride a bike and the more I ride, the more it's all coming together for me. The five people in the course were all at different levels. Randy took the time to care for everyone individually. You get what you put into it - practice as much as you can while having Randy there for guidance. Cost very fair for the intensive, thorough course. Randy's a pro!

I took Randy's course a couple of years ago and HIGHLY recommend him!! I knew nothing about bikes or riding (had only been a passenger) and what he taught in 4 days has stayed with me ever since. I still hear his voice as I'm approaching every intersection, and see that car waiting to turn left. Thank you Randy!!

I have been riding since 1975 and recently took Randy's advanced course for handling bikes at slow speeds. As expected I knew some of the techniques however and also as expected I took some nuggets away with me. Thanks Randy for the great work you do. Pushing this 950 pound plus bike just got a lot easier and safer at slow slow speeds.

I had a horrible experience with Randy and his company. Only 1 of the 7 people in our class passed the parking lot ICBC test at the end, which he says this course prepares you for. That 1 person had previous experience racing dirtbikes as a kid. When I was asking question about how to do something on the motorcycle, he never provided an answer... either he was too busy, just ignored me, or would repeat the same sentence over and over again even after I told him I didn't understand him. He would often get upset, saying "i already said that" when he hadnt or i needed extra help. He was also sexist, saying that women were just slower at learning new things than men, and was constantly talking about how much he was making from motorcycle classes and how many good reviews he had on Google. And the sit down classes are held in his house, where he also breeds large dogs, so you were jumped on by dogs in heat and he often was distracted in the middle of talking to take care of his dogs. All in all, I had a horrible time with Randy's company, and strongly would not recommend. He was rude, not a good teacher, and didnt succeed in teaching anyone in our group enough skills to pass the test. I didn't feel like my skills grew at all. Mega was of money, and also I had to spend a weekend in the presence of someone who was so rude to us all. I have made a false google account to leave this review as I fear he will seek retribution for the poor review, as he says he follows these reviews closely. But really, couldn't have had a worse time.

Never rode a bike before and in the course of four days Randy taught me what I needed to pass the MST. I learned a lot of great safe riding skills that I use everyday. He also took me out prior my road test and I passed the road test with flying colors and ZERO demerits. Highly recommended! :)

Randy was absolutely amazing! He provided a fun and laid back learning experience that aloud you to feel comfortable while learning! In addtition to the normal riding material that is required he provided valuable information on how and why things work the way they do to help give a deeper and better understanding of motorcycles, science, and riding! Thanks Randy!

Randy is the one instructor that helped me get the hang of the throttle/clutch relationship. He was working for another outfit at the time but I will never forget his easy manner and wealth of knowledge! Thanks Randy.

I took Randy's course last year and can easily say it was well worth it. Randy provides a very relaxed, highly informative and enjoyable training session which was exactly what was required for the MST. Would highly recommend Randy to anyone looking to find an instructor.

From a person who had never really rode before to feeling totally confident in riding and enjoying the road on a motorcycle. I appreciate the process Randy uses to help me understand the motorcycle, riding, and awareness for riding confidently moving forward. He was a patient instructor who enjoys what he does and genuinely wants riders to be safe. It was fun and informative course, it does help to go in with the attitude for learning and being a classmate as well as have great classmates who want to promote safe riding. Katrina and the dogs are great too!! Thank you Randy!! I look forward to riding with you in the future!!

Claire Ritchie

Even with having a little bit of experience on a bike, Randys course taught me alot. Just just about riding, but about Maintenance and care for bikes which is really helpful. It's tough to know what to google if you don't know what you're looking for.
