Kevin, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with first aid. He knows the course material extremely well and knows how to teach it so everyone understands. I prefer the St. John course to other companies because this has the right amount of hands on training as well as theory. Other courses spend way too much time on simple practical skills that really just take a minute or two.

Did my First Aid training there today for AimHi. Tina was our instructor for the day and she absolutely bossed it. Very nice lady and she knows her stuff. Its a long day in there sitting in a classroom all day but Tina keeps things interesting, fun and gets some good banter going back and forth with everyone which is a great skill to have to make the day less boring than it could be, she is truly an asset to St John's. Thanks again. ????????????

Had a great experience with my CPR level C course taught by Terica. She went above and beyond to make sure we were engaged in a fun environment. Was very adaptive with COVID measures to make sure we were all comfortable and safe. Would definitely go back again next year!

I purchased a course last year when I had started a new job, had the money, and assumed I needed the course as soon as possible. However, I also had other courses to study for that were much more urgent and challenging. Ultimately I ended up leaving the St. John's course until about the last two months that I could do it. So I studied it, began to arrange the test date, and then caught Covid-19. Isolation, and waiting for the Health Unit to contact me pushed me extremely close to the deadline for which I could take the test. In the end, I was finally able to take the test on the very last day possible. However in the meantime, there were multiple e-mails back and forth, delays and date changes etc. with SJA. In short, I was a royal pain to the receptionist(s) there, but they were always patient, supportive, gracious and accommodating. And I am extremely grateful for that!
