I would hardly consider this a golf course, it's closer to a par 3 course. 16/18 of the holes are par 3. The other two are par 4. Additionally, to call it a "Country Club" is hilarious, as it's just a shack with some hot dogs. The price is fair for what it is, but I wish they called it for what it is, which is a par 3. It took 2.5 hours to complete going slow, whereas most real 18 hole courses take 4. Also the first 9 holes are poorly designed, lots of doubling back, and even sometimes confusing where the next hole is.

I really enjoyed both the driving range and the back 9 of this lovely course. Lots of parking, convenient access to driving range and putting green and a fun course that is challenging for any golfer. Great rates.

Tom Evans

Excellent course to play at. Staff are warm and welcoming.

This is a nice course. The staff are great and work with you for whatever you need. Great food, par 3 makes for a nice short and sweet and simple course.

This place is fantastic. I have seen some negative reviews on here and on Facebook, and I wanted to share my experience. Golf is a very rule oriented sport. The course rules are what keep this place in great condition. Many of these negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, as the writers are either unfamiliar with the way things are at every course, or they did something they shouldn't have. I have been treated with nothing but respect from the staff at this course. I love their ladies night. The golf is great, and the crowd is really friendly.

I must say that there are far fewer positive things to say about this course than negative. First, the positive: The driving range is by far the best in the city and perhaps surrounding area, and the practice green is well kept. I believe the course would do well to invest more in this area of business (overhead cover, tables, etc.) since this is already their strength. While the turf conditions as well as rates are relatively good, I feel the need to mention the following disappointments: As other reviews have mentioned, there are members of the staff that are needlessly rude and care far more about their own conveniences and images than the reputation of the course. A couple weeks ago I called about driving range hours and was given the wrong information. Upon learning that it was closed due to scheduled maintenance, I expressed that I had called to confirm hours for this very reason; I was shocked not to receive (at the very least) an apology; instead the older, dark haired woman working the desk said to me: "Well that's too bad, not my fault. Must have been one of the young ones." I didn't respond, but I do now feel the need to share (due to 2 other instances in which the staff was rude/unhelpful over the last couple weeks) that this is not a business-minded response since I care little about who's fault it was, but rather what they might do as a business to make their own mistakes up to their customers. Second, don't kid yourself, this is a par 3 course. while they have three 'par 4' holes, all could pass as par 3 (longest being 250 yards). While this is good news for the person looking to golf with their children, this course is overrun by geese and other birds who have made the greens their toilets and are actually very aggressive. They will not make way for golfers and are often hissing at you as you attempt to approach your ball. There are also false yardage signs, lack of fairway markers, and some that are altogether absent. If you're willing to brave the birds for a par 3 course, the rates are good, but I'd recommend dealing with Lynbrook, Hillcrest, or any of the wonderful surrounding courses' staff after warming up on deer ridge's driving range!

Good food, good prices. 2 over par... suppose I can't blame the course. They have a driving range, and cart rentals.

Great course Great people !!

STAY AWAY. Staff are rude and extreamly unprofessional. The owner will yell at you if you bring up anything. The driving range balls are constantly flying overhead and are scattered throughout the course. There are also no makers stating what hole you are actually playing. This course is a complete and total joke. Golf elsewhere.
