In short, I recommend if you are not in a hurry to finish and above all, if you can practice with someone outside the practical classes on a fairly frequent basis. The teachings of the teachers will serve you as an aid and a guide. This was my case, because I could practice several times a week with a car. Otherwise, if you are looking for impeccable follow-up and ease of making appointments, I advise you to look elsewhere. I would also point out that they charge a little more than other schools. La secrétaire, Bistra, a sauvé mon expérience avec eux. Jean-Claude (proprio), bien que sympathique, prend beaucoup trop de travail sous sa charge et n'avait pas suffisamment d'employés a son effectif pour son nombre d'élèves. J'ai parfois eu énormément de difficulté à obtenir des cours pratiques, avec une rotation des profs constante, sans suivi entre les uns et les autres. Pour cette raison, je suis arrivée a mon dernier cours pratique sans jamais avoir pratiqué des stationnements parallèles. Et ce, même si je l'avais précisé lors de cours précédents. La salle de classe était aussi un peu crade, et nous étions entassés comme des sardines. Je crois que ce problème a été résolu par la pandémie, les cours en ligne étant beaucoup mieux à mon avis. J'ai aussi eu des annulations de cours au dernier moment, lorsque déjà sur place ou en route. Parcontre, ils étaient assez flexibles sur les retards des élèves (lorsque pas exagéré, j'imagine) et j'ai même pu me lifter en auto jusqu'à chez moi à la fin d'un des cours (comme j'ai dit, j'habitais tout près et le prof l'a inclus dans son parcours de conduite pratique.) Bref, je recommande si vous n'êtes pas pressés de terminer et surtout, si vous pouvez pratiquer avec quelqu'un à l'extérieur des cours pratiques de façon assez fréquente. Les enseignements des profs vous serviront d'appoint et de guide. Ça a été mon cas, parce que je pouvais pratiquer plusieurs fois par semaine avec une auto. Sinon, si vous cherchez un suivi impeccable et une facilité de prise de rendez-vous, je vous conseille d'aller voir ailleurs. Je préciserais aussi qu'ils chargent un peu plus cher que d'autres écoles. C'est aussi a prendre en considération.

Very good communication and customer service from Bistra, and likewise good communication, great driving tips, and great service from my driving instructor Haingo, who was wonderful and helped me pass my driving test on the first try! Bistra and Haingo even went out of their way to rearrange their schedule for me at the last minute to prep me right before my driving exam today, they went over and above to help me and I cannot thank them enough. I really like my driving instructors Haingo and Adam. They are pleasent to be with and adapt their teaching to the students needs instead of assuming that the students know nothing. Jean Claude the owner can often be carried away with details and anecdotes, which ends up shortening your available time for actual driving or in the case with theory lessons means that you are probably spending more time than needed - I am sure that Jean Claude would disagree ;-) Location was good for me, since it is close to my home. The office space seems a little worn down, but in these online times, you won't be there a lot anyway I had my theory lessons at the start of covid. At the time there was an English speaking teacher. This worked fine for me, although there were some internet bandwidth problems at times, but it might have been the teacher's private internet that was the problem. I am not sure whether they have an English speaking teacher at the moment. They also had a good secretary by the name of Bistra, when I started, but she unfortunately stopped. After she stopped I communicated mainly with my favorite driving instructor Haingo, which worked fine. They do their best, but it is difficult for them to find available times for in-car sessions, and you need to ask for them yourself and book long time ahead, since they have a high number of students compared to the available teaching resources. It is a good idea to book 2-hour sessions when possible, since it takes 10-15 minutes, before you are actually in the car. They use google calendar for their scheduling. Possibly there are better online scheduling packages allowing for students to book and cancel themselves, but google works fine. I haven't tried other driving schools but the cars here are fine, and Jean Claude is very enthusiastic about the fact that they are using electric cars and the advantages that this brings - less environmental impact and less maintenance. The cars are cleaned in between student in-car sessions. If you are driving with Jean Claude, he will ask you to do the cleaning yourself, and if you are with the other driving instructors, they will do it for you. They take the temperature of each student with a forehead probe before driving and ask you to sanitize your hands. And of course you have to ware your mask during in-car sessions. Things seem safe from that perspective. They recommended me to buy online practice exams from the driving school association ECIQ.com (Ecole de Conduite Internet Quebec). This costs approximately $60. I bought this package, but I did not like the website. The website did not work well - not good at keeping track of your progress, and there were also errors in some of the tests, which can be confusing. Instead I bought a theory package from tests.ca which was excellent and cost $50. All in all, I am happy hence the 4 stars. I passed my knowledge test today with zero errors, and I am pretty sure I will also pass the road test in January. My main issue is the number of students that they take in compared to available driving instructors. It is not a problem with the online zoom theory lessons, but it makes it difficult to find time for in-car sessions. As mentioned instructors Haingo and Adam are great! I hope that Jean Claude is taking very good care of his employees, because they are very essential to the business. Thanks to the team at Drive and Go for getting me this far :-)

When I said I would maybe come back later, he became very agressive and beligerent. Spoke to me like I was a 6 year old. Elles m’ont fait part que la qualité de l’enseignement théorique était bon. Le propriétaire et enseignant tient parfois des propos qui pourraient être offensant en raison de préjugés. Il raconte beaucoup d’anecdotes personnelles autant au théorique qu’au pratique, plutôt que de donner sa matière. Les étudiants pourraient lire le manuel et se rendre à la SAAQ pour passer l’examen théorique facilement. Toutefois, les règles sont imposées par le gouvernement. Les problèmes de l’école Drive and Go sont en lien avec la disponibilité des cours pratiques et ce même avant la pandémie. Annulation de cours dernière minute et des retards qui nuisent au professionnalisme de l’école. La qualité des cours pratiques laissent aussi à désirer. Aucun suivi entre les instructeurs. Absence d’enseignement de certaines phases primordiales comme les stationnements parallèle et de centre d’achat. Propriétaire qui fait des courses sur le temps d’enseignement. Je ne vous recommande pas cette école. S’il y a une employée qui tient à bout de bras l’entreprise, il s’agit de Bistra. Elle est toujours là pour réparer les pots cassés. Elle obtient les 3 étoiles. Je mets en doute certains des commentaires très généreux en étoiles. À vous de voir.

I cant even begin to express the horrors of working with Drive and Go. Months without a proper english class (despite them saying they can definitely do english classes). I had to chase them to get in-car classes, and unless I bothered them , they would not reach out to me. It seems that they have no English Classes, and, no working secretary. When I asked for a refund, due to their inability to get an english class (for 3 months) they informed me that I had to pay their 50 dollar cancellation fee. However, they could not supply me the service which they promised, which was, English Classes. When I asked for my refund, they offered me half of my real refund. I had to pull up all the information of how much I had paid, to show that I deserving of DOUBLE of what they had owed me. Eventually after much back and forth, they finally agreed. Please stay far away from this school. This company would be do better if it was run by a baby with a small hat. And by the look of these reviews, Im not the only person who has been negatively impacted by this company.

The most supportive and helpful driving teachers in town! Haingo in particular was amazing. She really helped me improve my driving technique for the road test, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable behind the wheel. My experience with them was a nightmare I started afew years ago and didnt learn much to begin with. I switched schools for the last 4 in car classes but before doing this i spoke with the secrety who insured me that i DO NOT we them anything infact they owe me money .she sent me the attestation by email . After completing my 4 classes with another school i came back to drive and go to pick up my attestation in Form with the stamp so i can take my road test ,the secrety did not have it prepared (btw they have a new secrety everytime i go there lol ). They claim i owe them around 240$ including a renewal fee bcz my contract expired (i need to pay a renewal fee just to get my attestation) The boss says the other secrety made a mistake .

Soit dit en passant, même quand le rendez-vous était honoré, il était bien entendu typique de commencer avec 15 minutes de retard pour les cours de conduites. Vous aurez aussi probablement a conduire l'intervenant faire ses courses. Pour les cours en ligne c'est encore mieux, on vous demande de venir 10 minutes en avance, l'intervenant est systématiquement en retard de 10 minutes, puis se sent systématiquement obligé de perdre encore 10 bonnes minutes en familiarités et discussions inutiles, exposant de plus des informations privées au oreilles de tout les participants présent (et on est un paquet). J'ai pu assister a des discussions a propos de naissance attendue, d'ordre absolument privées, évoquée sans problème par l'intervenant au désarroi visible de la personne concernée.. Le résultat est que votre classe de 2h posé le vendredi soir 18h se terminera probablement plus vers 20h30 / 21h si vous avez de la chance, plutôt qu'a 20h. Pour finir, Drive and go, demande de payer des frais de résiliations pour que je puisse changer d'auto-école, tout en m'expliquant que en effet, ils ne sont pas capable de faire ce qu'ils devraient faire.
