I always considered myself as a person who couldn’t drive. I had a fear of driving. Then my husband introduced me to Mr.Ranjith, the instructor of Step Up Driving School, Winnipeg. I was able to overcome this fear after my first lesson with him. He always trusts his students. After my first lesson, he told me that I am going to be really good in driving even though I made some serious mistakes. This helps me to build up my confidence. Mr.Ranjith is a calm person and never get angry even I made some serious mistakes. As an inexperienced and anxious driver I found Step Up Driving School to be exactly what I needed to gain confidence on the road. The instructor was really patient and provided lots of insightful tips on essential driving skills such as lane changes, and establishing right and left turns. Further the parallel parking method provided by the instructor was fool proof and made parallel parking very easy. A very good driving school. I'll admit that I was a bit of a slow learner when it came to driving. I've previously attended two other driving schools, but due to their instructors' impatience I learned little more than to be extremely anxious while driving. Step Up Driving School was different. Master of his craft! Mr Ranjit is a true professional in every aspect, training, grooming, conversations and communication skills. And would keep talking to me, making me laugh while driving in order to calm me down in case I freak out, which I did a couple times honestly. Overall, I would SERIOUSLY recommend my friends or anyone wanting to learn driving, even though he/she has no prior driving experience (like me).

Mr. Ranjit is a fabulous driving instructor having knowledge of all the dos and don’ts while on the road. I never drove a car before and was hesitant to do so until my first lesson with him. He helped me learn the most important rules and techniques while driving whether it's busy roads or complex turns with the utmost professionalism. For me, time is the most precious thing and he always made sure to arrive on time for lessons plus utilizing every second to help me sharpen my driving skills. Today I had my driving exam and Mr. Ranjit’s wife was my driving supervisor. While on the way to the MPI exam location, she helped me recap all the important instructions to keep in mind while driving as well as boosted my morale which was my biggest weakness while driving on the road. Upon arrival at the exam location, I was confident enough to drive safely on the road which was even covered with snow today and I never practiced or drove on the snowy roads before that. I had a wonderful experience while learning the most important skill that will open the door for more future possibilities for me and provide convenience while transiting. I feel extremely happy that I was able to pass my G2 road test in my first attempt with just 11 classes of training. I would like to thank Raj for his initial sessions and for referring me to John who was my godfather. Saying ‘ thank you’ is an understatement as it was because of his rigorous training, both my husband and I were able to confidently clear our road tests in our first attempt itself. John thoroughly studies our area of development and gives you the required training and practices not just from the road test point of view but to drive clean and safe.
