I phoned the company 10 days prior to my road test and Ken was very accommodating of my tight schedule. He made sure I learned the concepts of driving and taught me why we do checks on the road. He is very focused and he knew my weaknesses right away and ensured that we work on those prior to the road test. He made sure I know how to manoeuvre the car in whichever traffic condition. I got my N after 6 days of lessons with him. I am a happy camper. I greatly recommend!

Ken is a spectacular driving instructor. He's very observant and is able to give plenty of tips and actually sit down to explain the concepts to you. I took a total of 8 lessons as well as my road test in the driving school's car. I already knew how to drive prior to taking lessons with Ken but Ken was able to fine tune my skills and observation. He's very calm and easy to listen to. I'm so relieved to have passed FIRST TRY at the Langley ICBC Claim Centre thanks to Ken and I'll probably be back for my class 5 in 2 years! I practiced driving for 10 years and took the road test 4 times, but felt like I would never pass my test or become totally comfortable with driving - but I drove with Michael for 4 lessons very short notice before my test, and I ended up passing :) More importantly, he helped me push past my fears and insecurity, and helped me learn to be a safer, more confident driver. He had a lot of patience with me, and was able to explain certain concepts that I was never able to grasp, and helped me become comfortable with maneuvering in ways that eluded me before (things like backing in, and learning to navigate through mirrors and shoulder checks). He also is very tight on safety and helping you be a more responsive and thoughtful driver, almost like defensive driving courses. If everyone took this course, I believe BC would have much better drivers in general. Michael was also so kind, and willing to be flexible to match my crazy schedule- I never thought I'd be able to fit in so much before the test. Thank you so much, I genuinely flipped my driving abilities in 4 lessons and feel like I have been given the tools to be a safe driver on my own too.

Had a great experience with Ken. I passed at my first attempt while converting from a foreign license to class 5. He pulls to the side to explain something if you are not getting it, not just how to do it but more importantly why..and has a bougie board and a toy car. At first I thought 90min lessons would be too long but the time just flew by and we were able to repeat something until it becomes habit. Even though I had experience driving every country has some differences. I feel more confident about driving on BC roads.

All I can say about "Michael" is that he is a great instructor which make you ready not even for road test but to drive professionally. He is so patient and describe every thing really clear. We started very early in the morning and literally still dark outside and pouring rain but he never hesitated to help me. I got my CLASS 5 license today. There were definitely somethings he missed like taking me to icbc area for practice on parking and getting familiar with the area . My driving coach was Michael with whom I had a "mock test" a few days prior to the actual driving test. It was a class 5 test for a seasoned driver, though newcomer to Canads. It was totally worth and I succeeded the exam thanks to Michael's observations and the small exam tips he shared. I strongly recommend to anyone who prepares for the driving test in Langley.

I like driving Ken's car. But the most important thing is the knowledge and driving skills I learned from him. He is the best! He told me not to have targets when to turn for the parallel parking, but you need to feel it and I just followed what he said and I nailed my parallel parking. I only have one mistake on my first road test and then he worked on my weakness which made me passed the second road test. Thank you Ken for the hard work and even taught me passed my time for free. Even though the first time I didnt pass and moped around and didnt drive for almost two months, with a single lesson and pre test the day before my retest I was able to pass no problem. No demerits either. Ken teaches habits and how to drive not just how to fool the examiners. I will always recommend ken to anyone who genuinely wants to learn to drive or improve skills. Ken is very detailed and explains things differently and visually and over and over until you understand. Ken from Super Simple Driving School was of great help to me at a dyer time. It was just post the significant snowfall that hit the Lower Mainland earlier this February, and ICBC had canceled and rescheduled my driving test from the original Tuesday to Thursday of the same week. The Driving School I was originally to have borrow a car from was unable to loan me the vehicle for Thursday’s test and I was in a bit of a panic. Calling around, every school I was in touch with was unavailable; however, after scrolling for a while through Google, up popped Super Simple Driving School! Calling their number, Ken picked up and, thanks be to God, was available to lend me the car for the test. We drove around for a short lesson before hand such that i might become better accustomed to the car, and even in that 40 minutes or so of instruction, Ken gave me a few small pieces of crucial information that i really believed helped me succeed in geting a Class 7 “N” licence on my first try! As my experience stands, Ken was a discerning, skilled and friendly character, who I believe I have a friend in, now. Though breif, I’d say I had a worthwhile experience overall with this school. Ask for Ken!

Had lessons from super simple learning driving school and failed my driving tests. The instructor did NOT teach me any parking maneuvers (parallel, parking on a hill, reverse) or other important skills/tips that you need for the exam. I paid for each lesson hoping that these skills will be taught later on but all I ended up learning was to steer the handle in an empty parking lot and around neighbourhoods. What a waste of my money. Instead of teaching you in person they will also send you a list of youtube video links telling you to learn things like parking on your own. *To clarify, I took 10 lessons and not 4 lessons.

They both are very detail oriented and teach in a way that really helps me grasp onto concepts. They tend to use a tablet to draw examples of what I will be doing. For me this helps to have the visual example as well as then we would try it out and have me do it. If you can, invest time into taking lessons to explore the routes. I took my test at Production Way in Langley and when it came to my test we went through every area that Michael talked to me about previously. That way I was prepared and knew what to anticipate when having to do it under pressure for the test. This school is very thorough because they really help you work on any of your weaknesses. I had used another school previously, but Super Simple Learning Driving is definitely the school to go with. I learned so much and they have such high quality lessons!

Had a great experience learning with Michael to pass my class 7 road test on the first try. Michael gives very precise and actionable feedback to improve your driving. Highly recommend if you are preparing to take a road test, basically Michael's lessons were very close to what was on the actual test. I took 6 x 1.5 hour lessons with him to prepare. I liked that Michael focuses on concepts rather than "rules" - which allows you to be safe and adaptable in different situations. He helps to develop good intuition which can be difficult to build on your own. Overall, I'm happy with the value of the lessons provided here, and would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend this driving school enough, Michael is a superb driving instructor who not only prepares you for your road test, but helps you become a confident driver for everyday life. After being a passenger in a car involved in a head on collision when I was younger, I had a lot of anxiety and fear when it came to being behind the wheel myself. I tried learning on my own for years but was still uncomfortable, and never built up the nerve to take the road test. I’m so glad I booked with this driving school after reading the reviews. I took 6 lessons with Michael from Simple Learning Driving with limited previous experience and was able to pass my N test on the first try. Michael was very familiar with what evaluators would be looking for on the road test and we focused on this as well as covering all driving basics within a few lessons. After each lesson we reviewed the skills we had done that lesson, how far we had progressed overall, and how many lessons might still be required considering how things had been going so far. Booking lessons was very easy, even though I had a schedule that changed every week, Michael was always accommodating. Thanks so much!

Coming from someone who has gone through multiple instructors in the past I'm glad to say that Michael absolutely deserves 5 stars. In only a couple sessions a few days before my N test, he taught me everything I need to know to ensure I pass without losing a single point. I admire Michaels patience and ability to teach someone even as dense as me. He does a fantastic job communicating especially for visual learners. I know many people including myself have trouble retaining information in the form of being talked to for an hour, so Michaels ability to draw out and show you things truly makes him exceptional.
