Me and my husband were so glad that we chose 1st Gear to learn motorcycles. Adam and his team were absolutely awesome, we learnt a lot. It was such a great and fun time with them. Definitely will recommend 1st Gear to all my friends. Thanks Adam, Raymond and Cathy so so much for helping us! ????

I took the new riders course last weekend and being the only girl in the class who's also 4'11 surrounded by big men, I was intimidated to say the least. Small talks with Adam really helped, made me feel more comfortable and took away from the nerves. Whenever I struggled with something, both Adam and Ray took their time to explain to me what I was doing wrong and what I can do to improve. They also let me know what I'm doing well. The first day on the lot, I fell behind on one of the first activities but Ray caught me up. Both Adam and Ray were super patient, not once did they ever get angry or upset when I dropped their bike. The U-turns were the hardest, I couldn't do it at all on the 1st day, but on the 2nd day on the lot, I managed to get it down, same with not stalling the bike. Again, both Adam and Ray really took the time to help with best practices on how to complete a proper U-Turn. I was honestly super worried about the MSA, I thought I was going to fail. When I asked Adam how soon can I retake the MSA if I failed, he told me that I would be fine and I ended up passing the MSA on my first try!! I would definitely recommend 1st Gear for any future riders ????

Finished the course today and it is the best decision taking it here in 1st Gear. Amazing and extremely talented teachers that cares for you. ADAM ("Looking down and seeing what's in your odometer when stopped is like your IQ lol"), RAYMOND ("Look where you're going, the pavement isn't your destination"), TED ("Commit, Commit, Commit!") and KATHY ("Awsome Cheerleader!") they are the best! THE BEST! They're strict but informative, serious but fun. Not only do they teach you how to ride but they will engrave safety in your brain which is vital for riding. They will push you to be better but they won't rush you. They will make sure everyone is on the same page and make sure you're not falling behind. They will point out what you're not doing correctly and what you're lacking on and they will guide you thoroughly to be a better rider. All the praise and thank you so much to the Langley Team. Enrolling to the course is an amazing investment, no doubt! Will definitely spread the word about 1st Gear and recommend to family, friends and people interested in riding. *Prepare and take some Tylenol every after lot training :D

Took the new riders course with Adam as my instructor and Jason as an assistant. Both were very helpful and informational. Adam was strict and would raise his voice but only because he wanted to place emphasis on what it means to be a SAFE rider for people who are new to motorcycles. The best thing I gained from this course wasn't just the MST pass but also the ideas on how to be safe on the road and protect myself from external dangers. Every time Adam saw me do something that could lead to potential injury or death he always pulled me aside and told me those maneuvers can easily get me hurt. Now with my MST passed, I can stay safe, have fun, and enjoy the rides! Adam is a very ethical teacher and truly cares for his students' well being. Thank you Adam, Jason and all other helping staff!

Adam was the best teacher I could’ve ever had! After the course I went to a Honda dealership and confidently bought a brand new Honda CB500F. Which I also got a great discount and free gear on, thanks to Adams techniques! I confidently rode the okanagan hills after just 3 days of learning! I couldn’t believe I’d learn to ride, but after 3 days I turned into a professional thank you Adam! I have yet to learn more, but everything Adam taught me. 1st gear was an amazing experience for me. Adam, as an instructor, is tough on everyone, so if you are looking to get cuddled into passing the MST it's not gonna happen, that's what Raymond is there for. The instructors are great at what they do, and help you over come your issues in a manner that helps build your confidence, I would highly recommend taking training with these folks , I just can not say enough about the instructors, MONEY well spent!

I took the class in Langley, Adam and Raymond were the best teachers/instructors, Adam is all tough love, he may seem strict but he will also tell you how great your doing and how proud he is, Raymond was such a patient soft understanding couch he makes everything feel like its nothing and no big deal, made me feel confident and best experience I'm glad I picked 1st gear with these guys

Had an excellent time over last weekend. Adam is a great instructor with a tough, but caring teaching style! I would definitely recommend this course for all new riders. Hi I just did my course last weekend...Adam and his team is awesome love the environment Raymond is the champ so calm and teach you all about how to stay safe on the road..Kathy will watch you and point out what you doing wrong she is great...Adam is just the best l love it how he teach you to stay safe on road and ride safely...these guys are the best highly recommend..I knew how to ride before I took the course but I learned a lot money well spend....thanks guys for making me a better and safe rider...God bless you all
