Eric was my instructor, although I had the chance to meet all the instructors the day of my D road exam. Everyone here is incredible. From Colleen at the front desk to Eric on the road. They taught exactly how to perform my inspections and gave me the tools to be successful on my own. I also completed my Z course & forklift certification here. I will be returning for my other certifications as well. I can’t recommend this school enough, I will refer everyone here. Thanks OTDS windsor!!

I took the AZ MELT program, completed in a little over two months. Everything was very well organized and staff was quick to answer any questions or help work around your schedule. The office staff is very kind and helpful at all times. The airbrake course was very well done, using a knowledgeable instructor that helped ensure everyone passed. Thank you to Barry Martin. You will learn almost everything to know about being a professional truck driver while working through the course material, so make sure you pay attention and really absorb it. What really completed my experience was having Rob Perrin as my instructor. He worked with me from Day 1, doing yard training, to all of my in cab driving experience. he taught me everything I know about safety operating a commercial vehicle. He is kind, thoughtful, caring and always ready to teach you anything you wanted to know. He never got frustrated or impatient and always remained calm and ready to help. Having a good driving instructor is the true key to your success, and I couldn't have asked for a better fit for me and my learning style. I owe a lot to Rob for everything he has given me. Thank you OTDS staff for helping me obtain my AZ license. I would recommend this school!

She has excellent organizing skills getting all the necessary paperwork filled and scheduled. Allison was a great classroom instructor with many relevant stories attached to the curriculum. Steve, Kevin, and Phillipe's combined experience went above and beyond to help step by step instructions, encouraging with yard, truck and driving instruction. They were relaxed and patient with us. Very good school with friendly and helpful staff but there is no way i could pass MTO road test without all the lessons and advises I've learned from Rob. He is an exceptional instructor i would even say mentor who doesn't do just 8 to 5 shift but who ACTUALLY cares about you, about your test and about your future success as commercial driver. If you heard a lot of myths that it is impossible to pass the test from 1st attempt i can tell you it's not true. I passed from 1st attempt so did a majority of Rob's students. I am very thankful that i had such an amazing teacher and i will have such a good friend. Thank you, Rob!!!

Especially to point out my 'C' license instructor "Dale Hauk" is a true gem of a person. Very much passionate about her work and that passion and commitment to her work makes it easy for the students like us to easily understand what she's teaching. She was the best driving instructor I had in my whole life. Only because of her and the method of her teaching I easily passed my 'C' license in the very first try itself in London. My experience with OTDS was great. Gus assisted me in organizing my paper work and getting started quickly. My instructor was Carole, who went out of her way, to not only help me decide what I wanted to achieve with my career post training but also in - staying later, organizing yard training days (to meet my schedule) and going above and beyond in (explanations and demonstrations to) better suit my needs and all done in a comfortable, compassionate, easy to understand way. Carole is a down to earth, easy to communicate and a truly compassionate instructor, that can make learning to drive a large truck easy, even for the absolute novice. Just professionals work there. Instructors are experienced drivers with more then 20 years on the road. Always helpful and patient. If one of them cannot answer your question another one will do. I am very glad I picked Ontario Truck Driving School to do my Z endorsement. I came from out of town to do my course and the location was very easy to get to from the 401 and easy to find. The price was very reasonable compared to some of the other schools. My instructor was Greg. He was very knowledgeable about all things trucks and was able to relate the material to the real word. The class size was a little larger than I would have liked, everyone in the class was like minded and there to learn which was great. Greg was easy to talk to during class and after for any and all questions. I work in the public sector and will recommend this school to all of my colleagues looking to get their Z.

I started my AZ course in September and by mid October, I had passed the AZ road test on my first try. It was mostly because of my in-cab instructor Rob Perrin. Rob is a great teacher, made sure I was always confident about the maneuvers I was performing, and explained the best ways to tackle the challenges of driving a tractor-trailer vehicle. The most important part to me was how straight forward Rob was about what was needed to pass the test. Eliminating any and all information that would not be relevant when going for the test, which resulted in me getting a near perfect overall score on my AZ road test, again, on my first try. If you attend this school, ask for Rob to br your in-cab instructor, you won't regret it.

Money well spent! Trainer Warren and the team at OTDS NOTL were fantastic. Don't think you can just read the manual and you'll have a chance at passing the MTO road test - that wont happen. There are quite a few steps you won't be ready for. If you are thinking of upgrading your license make the investment in yourself and get professional training by these folks!

I passed my AZ Drive test today in Sarnia. I could not have done it without the help of my In-Cab Instructor Rob. I would highly recommend Rob. He cares about his students and is very knowledgeable with regards to Schedule 1 and vehicle operation. Rob has a great approach with Schedule 1 Training. Is always calm and relaxed and the first one to offer advice. OTDS is a Great School to learn at. Greg was a very good Air Brake Instructor, and Issac was a very Knowledgeable Yard Training Instructor. All up it took 6 weeks to go from Yard Training to doing my Drive test. Very efficient. Thank you top all of OTDS, Rob, Greg, and Issac.

I had the pleasure of having Bill as my instructor and I would highly recommend him for anyone interested in the MELT AZ program for your in cab instructor. He is very clear and knowledgeable with his teaching methods and isn't afraid to give constructive criticism to help you as the student notice corrections you need to make and is supportive when you overcome them. He helps you take away all anxiety if you have any and reinforces your self confidence and your training progresses. The in class is down to earth knowledge and isn't dry to seat through. Well worth the money. Only issue I had would be your other classmates who are disrespectful for other students but the instructors did not tolerate any disruptions that would interrupt the class.

I Had never met a instructor like Baseem He knows all the ins and outs of the industry and he is always happy to share advice. I started my AZ training in January of 2020. Started my yard and drivers training late February, covid happened and it was decided by myself and work to pick back up in Dec. Things were short lived and had to stop again. Thanks to Kimberly in the office for scheduling, and getting me in for the last 5 classes from the 17th of March till todays road test in Clinton. The biggest thanks needs to go to Rob Perrin for the extra mile he goes in his special way of helping with tough schedule 1 training. THIS IS THE BEST TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL I Started my training at OTDS with no knowledge what’s so ever about trucks .. I haven’t even been in inside a truck ever before and I was nervous especially about the fact that English was not my first Language. OTDS London offered the only Rock Truck /Dump Truck training and certification in Ontario. To train in Alberta or B.C. would have cost 2x more. Plus to close the deal the CEO Gus threw in free room for 2 weeks. Alain was the instructor for beginners and demonstrated clearly and simply and was patient like a good cop to practice the basic skills perfectly. Eventually I got it!... Right! George was like a tougher drill sergeant and pushed for speed and production like in the real world. Definitely a Bad Cop but pushed the Rock Truck driving to the limits. Tony the Head Instructor was no where to be found...but he roamed around and ran the training site with eagle eyes and had all the students machines working up to production speed. In the end I was shocked when Tony said: You re done! You re out of here. You ve achieved all the Rock Truck training objectives! (Sooner than expected but got some bonus training time loading Rock Trucks with Front Loader.) So all this OTDS Rock Truck Training & Certification helps with more loading & dumping experience and future employment testing for a rare machine with hard to get training. In summary an intense training opportunoty that progressively pushed me to a higher level of operating Heavy Equipment with a positive outcome. G.Jensen Deroche

I have to say this is one of the best professional trucking schools you can attend. I had Rob (from the London location) as my AZ driver instructor and he was phenomenal. He was very polite, never yelled or diminished you and helped you understand any concept of truck driving that you were having trouble at. He is patient and will show you the maneuvers you need to know in order to drive in the real world. I learned how to alley dock park, drive on the local roads and highway and he does a very by the book thorough teaching of your inspections. I completed my road test (thanks to Rob) the first try and it was because I had a good mentor coaching up to the test. It's really 0 out of 5, they just get the one star for answering the phone. This school location overcharges compare to other schools in Windsor Ont, even charge more than London and Chatham Ontario Truck Driving School (OTDS)locations. This school charges for a grade 10 test and a second road test (not just the $100 drive test fee)to their students, which the other Windsor and OTDS schools don't charge.When I called I found Colleen to be rude and inpatient, she said to me that she loves a man with money, which is something you should not say as it indicates that you only care about the money more than you care about the training the student receives. If you are truly keyed onto going to OTDS because of their name then I would suggest Chatham since it's the next closest location to Windsor or if you like to travel then go to London,I find the staff more friendly and they are cheaper than Windsor OTDS. As for Windsor, I wouldn't go to OTDS Windsor, as you will find out that other schools charge$1000-$2000 less, and give you a 2nd roast test at no cost Overall, I can't tell you where to go, if you don't believe me call around and see for yourself. After all it's your money, you deserve all the answers.

Highly professional and amazing group of people is running this institution at Niagara on the Lake. I had such a wonderful experience of learning without any pressure and tension. It’s really hard to differentiate between the instructors as they are all masters of their profession. I had learning experience from TJ, Jannet, Doug and Peter. They are all amazing but Peter is a jewel in the crown. I can’t thank enough to all of them, specially Peter who made the learning fun for me while not at all compromising the professional standards. Peter really takes pain and goes far beyond his call of duty to make you learn. I would also like to thank Michelle and Jim for their tremendous coordination and keeping the schedule as per the requirements of the training and students needs. Oh my gosh where do I begin! Firstly I would love to thank my driver instructor PETER KUBIAK, Wow you are amazing! He taught me everything that I need to know to drive the truck safely, he taught in a way that was so understanding and forgiving and felt like a safe environment which is exactly what I needed to learn, his methods of teaching were so precise and perfect, there’s honestly nothing I would’ve had him done differently. For someone like Peter to have the ability to teach somebody how to drive a huge rig like that is astonishing, I mean a lot of people can teach people how to drive but Peter taught me the right way and the Safeway and made me feel completely confident! I had a really big issue with backing up, and he told me from day one not to worry backing up is the easiest part, this took a huge load off my mind because I was so worried about backing up. I know it’s not easy but the way he taught me since the beginning by calling the backing up process easy made it feel less daunting. After some time practising I got it down pat, and now I can do it without even having to stress out or think too hard it’s like second nature at this point so I would love to say a huge thank you to Peter KUBIAK ! After this truck driving school not only did I obtain my license which was a long time goal for me but I also gained a friend! Thank you for taking the time with me and teaching me the proper way thank you for always having faith in me and not giving up and also thank you for being genuine with me and real and I am proud and honoured to be able to say that you’re my friend! I'd like to start by saying, before I paid my tuition I did A LOT of shopping around. There are plenty of schools in Windsor, but in my case OTDS was my best bet. Most places I called didn't offer any training after 5pm, which to me was a big deal as I work until 4:30 every day. The next big factor for me was the "in class" portion of the MELT (AZ) requirement. I needed weekends as I couldn't log in during the day through the week, no worries there as weekend classes were held on Zoom. Colleen is a fantastic professional to deal with, she made time for me to sit down and give me the basics of the course, and made sure that I was accommodated for while training. She is beyond polite, and extremely good at what she does, she made my course experience a breeze. I was worried that I wouldn't receive adequate training hours due to my work schedule, and boy was I wrong, she and Melissa both made everything work. I was highly impressed with the equipment, it's extremely clean, relatively new, and the option of a manual truck for training was a major plus. Trucks driven by students go through a lot, and in this regard OTDS has a very well kept fleet. Any issues were fixed same day, or before the next lesson which avoided down time and lost hours. My instructor, where do I begin? Through my entire experience I had Eric as my instructor. You want to learn to drive, and pass? You want Eric. He gave me the basic skills and knowledge to teach myself, which to me speaks volumes. He's extremely knowledgeable, easy to get along with, and doesn't panic when things go a bit haywire. He was always early to lessons, ready to go, and didn't make training feel monotonous. I passed my road test September 27, 2021 with the skills and knowledge I learned from OTDS. I would highly recommend this school if you're working and want to get into a new career. Every single member of their staff is friendly and professional. From the administrative side, to training in the yard, to driving on the road, I had a fantastic experience and got the most value for my money. If you're looking for a school that produces results, works with their students, and is a great value...don't take my word for it, give Colleen a call. Thank you so much for everything!

Went through there 5 piece and AZ course. All the instructors in the heavy equipment are very knowledgeable and help when ever needed if your new or experienced they will work with you great people. My AZ instructor was George definitely a great instructor I had problems in school learning as a child. I am happy to say that I passed my AZ license on the first attempt with OTDS london. My instructor Gord was GREAT, very easy to get along with and very knowledgeable and willing to help out whenever. I also had the pleasure of meeting Carole, she is great with teaching and explaining in detail the schedule 1 portion needed to pass the A part of the test. at first I was worried I would not get my hours in however Just wanted to advise of a very good instructor that I had while doing my in cab training. Carole was very patient and very understanding and was able to adapt to my style of learning which is required when dealing with adult learners and adult students as we all have very different learning ways. Carole had trained me exactly how the ministry wanted and emphasized KEYWORDS ministry wanted to hear. Although it took me 2 attempts to get my license cause the first time I failed was my own doing cause I hit a pylon which has nothing to do with the way i was taught it had to do with my own depth perception. When I went for my second road test Carole brought me back in for 2 nights before my second road test gave me more pointers and guidance on my backing. the second time was a charm in obtaining my license. Carole thank you so very much for all your support and all your training even if it meant doing late nights till 10 pm with me in the yard and then getting up early to be at yard next morning for 5:30 to get the truck ready and go for a road test with another student the next morning. Your guidance and tips will change my life forever and roll on 18 wheeler.

In addition, the instructors are very professional and understand the needs of the students. They quickly find out what the students need and train them intensively. I was trained by Bill, Rob and Bassem among the instructors. They trained me with patience, and they praised me and encouraged me whenever I learned the skill. Where do I begin? This school is the BEST investment I have EVER made. I figured this would be the case from the very beginning. When I called the main office in London and spoke with Gus he helped me with EVERYTHING (keep in mind I knew KNOWING about trucking.) When I say Gus helped me with everything I mean right from how to register to what I would be expecting as time went on. Once school started (the theory) they had us use zoom and we were able to learn from home. Issac is an amazing instructor and will help you whenever you need it (noticing a trend here?) NONE of them leave you hanging. Now I did my in truck training in Kitchener. Let's start with the administration staff member, Jackie. The support that woman offered was beyond phenomenal. I had a situation with the MTO and my medical and Jackie (along a few others unrelated to OTDS) Stood by my side the whole way until it got sorted. Shes and angel in disguise. Ok onto the in truck training. I struggle with great difficulty to find words with how amazing Todd is. That man not only made me feel wildly comfortable while driving and doing inspections but he helped me feel confident. Dont get me wrong EVERYONE from the top down at OTDS is AMAZING but I promise you I would not have passed my DZ road test without Todd. Todd if you read this I am sorry I can't find anymore words to describe how much of a blessing you were during my studies. Not only am I lucky to have had you as a teacher but I consider you a brother. You are the reason I have the career I have in the trucking world. Please keep helping people, you're amazing at it. I went through for excavator backhoe and loader and came out with the experience and confidence that i needed to run the equipment. I went to upgrade my commercial B license to an A class as Covid decimated the tour bus industry. Already having considerable OTR experience all over the Eastern seaboard, I didn’t fully know what to expect. What I received was absolutely top notch training and instruction with a late model tractor trailer. Ontario Truck Driving school not only has drivers and trainers that understand what it takes to become a truck driver but also what it takes to make it in this industry. It was a little strange doing all the in-class training through online classes but all the instructors made the learning experience easy and understandable. I could not of asked for a better in cab instructor. Peter Kubiak was not only very knowledgeable but he is very easy going and has a very passive demeanour. There were times when I would get stressed out about something and he would ease me on through the process insuring me of my driving abilities. Top notch educational facility I have met alot of great people during my training, including the helpful and friendly office staff, that do the best to accommodate and schedule dates and times that worked for my schedule, also the great instructors that always knew the answer to the questions I had, and if they weren't sure, the next time I seen them they had the answer. At OTDS, I didn't feel like "just another number", Everyone knew my name, that's what made me feel like "not just another number" Everyone I met at OTDS had the same goal, to educate me and assist me in obtaining my AZ Licence. OTDS gives great AZ training. I am very thankful to have had Carol as my instructor and from my very first training, she proved that she is top in her job for a reason. Carol remained calm in all situations even when stressful. She knows all the ins and outs of the industry and she is happy to share it. Best trucking school there is by far they have every transmission to learn in if your looking to learn in a 10,13 or 18 speed manual they've got it and even if you want to learn in automated lol they've got it. So for anyone looking to get there truck license this is the place to go very professional and all of the staff makes it fun to learn and they share the passion of truck driving which definitely goes a long way and I want to give a big thank you to everyone at OTDS but especially Peter for going above and beyond to help me during the course, if it wasn't for him I'm not sure I would have passed. i enrolled in the “Advance standings A-Z program, my air break instructor was Issac and my in truck instructor was peter, both were excellent, peter was very good at slowing everything down and making it easy to remember even though i have always struggled with reading/comprehension through schooling. i passed my A-Z road test on my first attempt and had my license in 32 days start to finish

I just recently finished my heavy equipment course in which I got the opportunity to train on and learn five different pieces of equipment. My instructor, Tony V, went above and beyond to ensure that I was trained professionally on each piece of equipment and gave me lots of learning experience. He is a very easy person to work with! - When taking my AZ training and certification, I had the pleasure of having an exceptional instructor, Bill M. - Bill gave me the push I needed and ensured that I was the most prepared I could be prior to taking my AZ license test. He was very clear with the directions, rules, and policies I needed to follow. I highly recommend OTDS and what it has to offer. Very thankful of had both Tony and Bill help getting my certificate and license. The women in charge of the office were also very friendly and outgoing. Great Experience with a lot to learn, I took the full AZ Course which included In-class course, On-line course, Yard Training and In-Cab/Driving. Working full-time myself, I had to work with the school to do everything afterhours during the week and Weekend, the school was very accommodating with my time/availability. Rob P. at the London location was my Yard & Driving Instructor, he was extremely helpful in assuring you learn the correct way of all aspects required to assure your success in becoming a professional commercial driver. He worked adequately to assure you are ready for your final road test. The extensive training from Rob with Driving, In-cab, and Schedule 1 gave me great confidence and understanding in each specific area during the training. I am very Happy to say that Rob's training made my final MTO/Drive test a success and I passed on the first attempt. I highly recommend Rob!! Also would like to Thank the entire Office staff at the London Location (Gus, Christine, Desiree, and Kimberly) for all there support and the Sarnia Instructors Frank & Joanne for my final MTO/Driving test support.

Christine and Kimberly were very accommodating with the class and in truck scheduling and Bill did a great job helping me though my one on one training in the truck. Got my AZ license through this campus (Kitchener) Cannot say enough about this school. Jackie (who you will come in contact with first) is very friendly and will work with you to make sure you have all your paper work and schedule your tests and road test, (make sure you keep your drive card nice and clean) Allison was a great in class instructor and is very knowledgeable towards the trucking industry and makes it enjoyable by Sharing lots of person experiences related to trucking.Steve and Philippe the instructors are very genuine and funny which makes it more enjoyable, they will make sure you get your inspections down and the best driving techniques not only to pass your road test but to be a professional driver. Really enjoyed my time doing inspections and driving with these guys and they really are there to help you as long as you show that you want to learn. Again a great experience and would recommend to anyone getting their A or D license!

Rick and Isaac were helpful and understanding with explaining the logistics about trucking and various job opportunities. The administrator is Kimberly Robbins who was efficient and quick to respond to my concerns, and gave advice which was very helpful. My in-cab instructor was Bill Melvin. He is very stern but great at his job as he properly prepared me for the test. I learned a lot from him and without his wealth of knowledge and guidance I wouldn't have succeeded in passing my test.
