My instructor name is Siva. He explained every technique. Provided notes and videos. I pass in the first try in Oshawa. Strongly recommend Siva for anybody that needs driving lessons. If Siva didn'td think you are ready, don't go to the test.

My driving instructor was Siva! He helped me with my weaknesses after 3 years of procrastination with my G2. Very clear instructor, gives helpful tips to parallel park, reverse park, and front park! He helped me in my areas with most anxiety, which was super comforting. Great instructor, doesnt make you feel nervous and puts the driver at ease - which I highly recommend for any new drivers! None of them were helpful for me. I have passed my g2 test at port union in the first attempt with Siva. If you are trying to pass your g2 test with your first attempt just go to him. I had a positive experience with Safe Driving School. Medi was very patient, which was really important as it helped me focus on learning techniques and correcting my own mistakes. I also really appreciated that he was accommodating of my schedule. It took me almost a year to finish the lessons, but he was good at reinforcing what I had already learned and troubleshooting things I had particular problems with. We also talked about how driving is like life, which made me appreciate being behind the wheel more. So instead of being scared off of driving forever, I was able to get better bit by bit...until I passed the exam! Thank you for the advice and tips, they really give me what I need to become a safe and eventually, independent driver. I will take them on the road whenever I practice!

Tried for many years and kept failing my G2 because I had difficulties with parallel parking. My first day James asked what I wanted to work on, I told him that I was scared of parallel parking he said okay let's get it out the way I'm going to show you how easy it is. I learned to parallel park on the first day and was comfortable. He showed me the rules of the road and also complimented me on my driving. I am so impressed with Innocent James. He is thorough, punctual and has so much passion for teaching the skills of the road! I was taught by an instructor from another school. I had a lot of difficulty correcting my parking when I had made a mistake, although I was fine driving on the streets. It used to stress me out when I couldn't get in properly in to a parking spot, especially at a busy car park. Innocent taught me how to correct my reverse, forward and parallel parking if I am slightly off position as the 'tricks' these other instructors/ schools teach you, won't work every time, especially when the parking spots are on a hill, at an angle, if they are different widths..or if the parking spot is next to a pavement. He fine tuned all my left and right turns as well and I feel very confident driving on the road now. He also focuses a lot on observation, especially as you pass intersections, which is a great precautionary measure to avoid any accidents (and also to abide speed limits as you enter different streets) I highly recommend this driving school. I only took about 4 lessons and got my G2 at Port Union in my first try. Thanks Innocent, I will be reaching out to you for my G :)

Mr Mehdi is an excellent instructor. He not only teaches you the basics to pass the test, but also teaches you how to drive safely. I enjoyed my classes and looked forward to the next. Overall was a good experience. The only thing I would let you all know is that Siva had a bit of a trust issue with me. Every time I got into the car he would tell me how much of a great driver I was, but when it came time to do a left handed turn at a light, he would always take the wheel from me and perform the turn himself. I also want to add not to trust the reviews you see for this driving school. When I had Siva, he made me put in a 5 star review with comment regarding how good of an instructor he was. Since the reviews have a overall 5 star rating, I believe that some others may have been forced to do the same. Let's be real, what company has a 5 star review. No company ever has a 5 star review no matter how good they may be.

Where to begin?! Mr. Medi knows what he is doing. Trust his process and put your nerves aside. He will teach you what is necessary to pass your upcoming test and has a fun sense of humor. Above all, he has patience and his teaching style is easy to understand. The maneuvers you learn are straight to the point as well. I got my G2 today and am very thankful for his lessons!

Best experience ever! The sessions are a full hour and Medi is a great instructor! He is patient and very thorough and will also honestly let you know when you are ready for the test (and not try to rip you off for more classes). I passed my test from the first shot with no trouble at all! His advise was spot on and I felt really prepared for the test. I highly recommend classes with Medi!

Innocent James!! Hands down best instructor I ever had. Passed my g2 on the first try. This review is long over due but I'm glad to say that having Innocent James as instructor is your best bet if you're a nervous driver, beginner he's very patient I've had instructors that they control you too much to the point that youre not learning but with Innocent, he will tell/guide you and he'll let you do it by yourself so you can figure it out which is right or wrong. He jokes around too once in awhile so you won't get bored in your sessions. He's very knowledgeable about rules and laws. and will tell you different ways to parralel,front and back parking. Im just so glad I had him as my instructor. Thank you again Mr. Innocent James until next time.

I highly recommend safe driving school to any all I encounter for all driving needs. The school was very thorough and intensely detailed. Everything was broken down to a fine degree to understand the daily situations that take place on and off the road. Driving was just a “cool/fun” thing for me before I started the course and now I see it in a totally different light and appreciate all that I’ve learned from the school! I want to thank Medi for teaching the classes and providing simplicity to each lesson allowing myself and the other students to grasp the understanding of what was taught each lesson. I want to thank Innocent James for the amazing opportunity to be taught by him! First off, I had a very terrible experience before him and the person that taught me basically stole my money, went on vacation and I haven’t heard back from him since. Whenever I drove with him he would always take the wheel from my hand, do ALL of the breaking and when he was teaching me how to park in anyway he would basically be doing it for me which lead me to make way too many mistakes when I had gone for my driving test and I failed my first time because of him. I admit because of my first driving instructor experience, I was a bit sceptical about my second experience. After driving with Innocent James, he not only let me do everything, he allowed me to make mistakes and then taught me how to fix them. That gave me the confidence to continue and push further and harder! Thank you Innocent James because with your patience and your allowing me to make mistakes and learn from them, I was able to pass my driving test yesterday! I was super nervous and I did unfortunately make a few mistakes, but the Drive test examiner said She appreciated the fact that I was a cautious driver and that was all thanks to Innocent James. Medi is awesome. First of all from the start he makes you feel comfortable in the car. He always explains what you need to do before you do it so you are confident in what you need to so. He is so patient and professional and lets you know what you need to work on in a calm and relaxed way. He is an awesome instructor and you should use him. I definitely recommend. I passed my G test today and I would like to thank Mehdi from safe driving school. It is worth it to sign up for G lessons from Mehdi. I have not driven in more than 2 years and Mehdi has helped me brush up my skills. He is very patient and he knows exactly what you have to know to pass your drive test. I initially thought only 3 classes would be sufficient due to me driven in the highway in the past but I would say now that 5 classes is definitely better as it allows you for more practice. Thank you Mehdi!

Innocent James was an excellent instructor: methodical, calm, and knowledgeable. Despite only having 10 hours of experience (I was unable to practice outside of lessons) I was easily able to pass my G1 exit test in one try. Even parallel parking is easy for me now.

I got my G2 with another school prior to coming to Safe Driving School for my G license and the differences were very clear. Please read the following for a detailed review: THE INSTRUCTOR: Medi is an excellent driving instructor. He is very calm, constructive, and provides very clear feedback that helped me pass my G road test in only 3 lessons. I have experienced no confusion or stress while being under Medi's instruction, and had a few laughs along the way. Medi displays very strong interpersonal communication skills and exceptional customer service skills which definitely aided in the learning experience. THE CAR: The vehicles that Safe Driving School uses are modern and are very well maintained; Both mechanically and in terms of hygiene. I'm giving 5 stars in behalf of my husband who recently passed his G Road test. My husband went straight to G from G1, since he had driving exp. abroad. With 3 hours of lesson, he learned a lot from his instructor, Innocent James, who taught him various techniques & reminders. Had he not attend a lesson, my husband would not pass the test. Additionally, we are so thankful to Mr. James, Sir Mehdi and this driving school for accommodating our booking despite the very short notice. They are indeed dependable.

Siva is an excellent instructor who is crystal clear in teachings and clarifications of the rules of the road. Passed road test for G in the first attempt and Siva played a pivotal role in that. Nitheesh. Mr Shiva is an excellent driving instructor who teaches very well. When we make mistakes, he does not scream, but rather tells what we did wrong, so that we wont make the same mistake again. The sign up process was easy, I paid Mehdi in advance and I had my MTO classes booked AND my in-car driving lessons all scheduled on the 1st day. The in-class and in-car aspect were both fantastic. I did both of these with Mehdi who did a wonderful job teaching both in-class as well as in-car. I would highly recommend Safe Driving School as Mehdi will walk you through what you need to drive safely, as opposed to other driving schools who will simply teach you how to pass the test.

Thank you Innocent James for helping me pass my G2! I put off driving for so long in life because I was afraid and did not think I could ever do it. When Innocent James took me for my first lesson, he was patient and did not push me to do more than I felt capable, because he knew I was anxious. Amazing instructors! In class lessons and on road lessons will teach you enough to know for your G2 exam. You will get a full lesson on lane changes, all types of parking, and many other techniques. They make sure you are comfortable and safe on the road. Mehdi was my in class instructor and taught me different situations on the road and how to safely avoid them. Innocent helped me a lot with parking and showed me different techniques which really helped me on my G2 exam.

This school is way more expensive and the service is not anything significant. My instructor was James. Don’t be fool by seeing so many good reviews of him. I didn’t find anything special that could make him different from others. Be aware of your timing in one hour in-car lesson. He tried to finish it 5-10 minutes earlier in every class to catch the next student on time . At the end of 10 classess you would have loosen 50-100 minutes of your paid in-car practice. One other thing he tried to spend more time on parking practice to save gas instead of driving in the road. Be careful with these.You can practice parking with your family car because it is less risky.

JAMES is without a doubt one of the best driving teachers out there. I don't usually write reviews but James deserves this one. From my first ever in-car lesson until I passed my G2 exam, he remained professional, punctual and most importantly patient. If you're lucky, he'll even tell you on of his life motto's, "ideas are only ideas without courage". As for my in-class lessons, MEDI was a very knowledgeable teacher. I would highly recommend Safe Driving School to anyone. You'll pay a little bit more than other driving schools but it will well be worth it.

I was very satisfied with Safe Driving School. The Owner and in-class teacher Medi did a great job explaining the rules of the road. My In-car lessons were done by Siva, with his help I was able to pass my G2 on my first try. However, I wouldn't personally recommend him. On my first time scheduled to take the exam Siva failed to check that the Port Union had closed down due to an emergency situation. Yes, it wasn't his fault and we can't foresee these things. But the fact that we were the only ones there, says everyone else was aware but him. Also, his car is not the cleanness, his steering wheel is sticky and he's either biting his finger nails or picking his nose. All the reviews highly recommend him but unless you have some experience in driving or a really quick learner I would try to get a different instructor. He didn't even teach me how to turn on the lights until the day of my exam.

I gotta tell ya, I had 3 different instructors and MEDI is better than those two instructors I had before him. He's very strict and tends to make you do something quick which makes you panic. He's very observant, he'll know your personality throughout the lessons you have with him and he'll find a way to make you understand what you need to do to get better. After taking a few lessons and with no prior driving experience I began to get comfortable at the wheel. I failed twice with the same instructor and I got frustrated after failing two times. I stop going for lessons but we had a family emergency and I can't drive my daughter to the clinic that's when I decided to take lessons again. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient during our in-class lessons; because of him I passed my driving test on the first attempt! After 5 years if G2, I was trained for 5 hours by Medi for Safe driving school and I passed the G!!!! Medi is always right on time, patient, gives a lot of tips and believes with you for the best!! Thank you , my best instructor, Innocent James. When I tried to find an instructor for G2, I knew nothing about cars and traffic(I am a kind of new to this country) , and I have to pass my G2 in one month. Time was so limited that I don't believe I can pass the test on time. Innocent James helped me to book the test, taught me everything from the very beginning. After a few hours, my driving style didn't make me look like a 90 year old lady and I knew the difference between right and left (I need to translate right and left to another language in my mind ). It is hard to tell a new driver which angle to turn and how to measure the distance in mirror, but Innocent James could always find the best words to describe it. We studied together for 15.5 hours in total, and then, two hours ago, I passed at the first attempt in Port union. I found the pricing to be very reasonable, and I actually got some extra practice time as Medi picked me up early. I moved to Canada recently from Spain and had one chance to take my G test (to transfer my Spanish license to a Canadian one) and I'm very happy I took the lesson with Medi before the test as, despite having held a driving license for 15 years, he was very helpful at pointing out any bad habits, explaining Canadian road rules and teaching me exactly what the test instructors will be looking for. I was skeptical at first about doing some classes before my G exam, but I can honestly say I wouldn’t have passed from the first time if it wasn’t for this driving course. I took the three hour package with Medi. I have to say he’s one of the BEST instructors I’ve ever had. His way and explanation is really amazing, easy to understand. He’s very patient and takes to almost the same routes that were on the test. He’s really kind and funny too actually. He always looks out for our “customer satisfaction”. I would recommend anyone looking to do their G2 or G exam to take some classes with him, even if you are an experienced driver. I have 15 years experience in my home country and I was allowed to take G test (G2 Exit). I could have gone and went ahead with the exam and make a fool of myself or I could prepare for the exam. The problem with international experience is BAD HABITS. I drive like a drag racer with one hand on the wheel one hand on the stick. I was shopping around for driving school and almost went to Pickering even if I was living in Scarborough. My nephew suggested Safe Driving because he just passed his g1 exit and now has a G2 license. It is a little pricey but I though I have only one shot at this and I need a car by winter. Mehdi was my instructor and my inclass experience is great, he taught us lots of scenarios and it was clear and easy to understand. Then comes the in-car lessons. Immediately Mehdi noticed my habits, if he could tie both of my hands on the wheel , he would have. As the lessons go, I got used to the driving style here. I have no problem with the highway I am confident enough, but going in and out here is different because of speed matching. Mehdi walked me through this earlier in the lessons but he customized my lessons to improve my weak spots.. which is city driving, being aware of the pedestrians, left and right turning in the intersection. Fast forward to the G exam this morning, well I am human and you will be nervous too on your exam day, but because of Mehdi's superb teaching and guidance I passed and got my G license! Had an awful experience with one of the instructors Darren. Would routinely change times and show up late and sometimes really early for my lessons with him. During the lessons, he literally tries to guide every single movement he wanted you to do which ruins the learning process. He also wouldn't teach an entire lesson quite frequently if there was something pressing on his schedule. After I told him I was switching to another instructor, he cancelled my G2 road test booking even though I told him not to (I had the test booked months before and am having trouble rebooking due to Covid-19).

I was taught by driving instructor Siva, who had taught my mom and my brother. I am so lucky to have been taught by such an amazing instructor. Not only did I pass my G (Oshawa) and G2 test (Port Union) on my first try, I had only a few lessons in a short amount of time. Siva helped me gain confidence and was so patient while teaching. Innocent James is a great instructor and was recommended to me by my sister, as he helped her pass both her G2 and G on the first attempt. I previously failed my G2 twice after having bad experiences with an inattentive instructor. From my first lesson with Innocent I could tell this time around would be different. 5 star driving school! I would highly recommend this driving school. My instructor was Medi and I passed my test last week. He is a great instructor and not only he teaches you how to drive but also tells you what your mistake is and even why you made that mistake which really helped me to realize what I was doing wrong. I took many driving lessons with 2 other schools and had 4 other instructors before him but none of them could really teach me the way he did. So I got my license because of his help and and i am very glad that I tried his school, you should too and will not be disappointed.

I passed my G licence today all thanks to Mehdi! He's a VERY patient and knowledgeable instructor and I highly recommend him to anyone who's nervous or uncertain about their driving abilities. I wasn't sure I could do this after the first attempt, but Mehdi worked with me diligently on all of the manoevres that I needed work on to fully prepare me for my G Test today. Before i decided on driving school, I google driving school reviews and found this school with excellent ones and they werent wrong. My assigned in-vehicle instructor was Innocent James. As it was my first time driving about a month ago, he had found a place to safely teach me the basic skills and worked from there. He is very patient and puts students at ease. He is observant and will work on both your strengths and weaknesses. He did not only taught me the skills i needed in driving, he'd also work on my confidence. And Medi was our in-class instructor and i also found him knowledgeable as he taught the class on how to be safe/defensive drivers. As we were all beginners, he'd give examples to explain situations better. Highly recommended!
