Anne Wakelin 4 minutes ago Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value, Reliable Ruby and I have had postive, professional and very educational experience with Esther at Kawartha Canine. After 9 years we continue obedience and fungility with Esther because it never gets old. We learn continually, have great social interaction with Esther and the other dogs and people in our class. We also have fun. Ruby looks forward to her Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Esther is so knowledgeable and fair and she truly cares about her students. When covid forced KC to close, Esther provided videos online for us to refresh and continue our training at no cost. Looking forward to puppy class with my next furry beast.

Esther does a great job training from beginner to advanced as well as fungility etc. To respond to one negative review, all businesses were closed from March to May 2020 due to the pandemic, and so everyone had to wait for classes to resume. Esther uses her extensive knowledge to match dogs to classes with similar age and skill. She does her best to find classes that will fit with customer's schedule, but that is not always possible. She works with everyone and their time availability as much as possible.

Horrible experience with Ester! I Dont know hows shes A 5 star Must been rigged!! I Waited 3 months on her waitlist. It Finally came time for registration she requires you to fill out applications online then come in on registration day to pay in person - only by email money transfer. I Thought that was weird. So 10am registration day i come everything was fine when I left, My dog had her spot.. Then about 8 hrs later she calls me up and basically refused to give my dog her spot! I Didn't clue in until later she must interview you for your dogs spot! Without you even knowing! Just Save yourself the frustration disappointment and TIME go elsewhere shes a real piece of work!!! Totally wasted my time!!!

We have been taking our 9 year old GSD to Kawartha Canine for Obedience and Fungility for 9 years. Why so long, for refresher sessions, exercise and socialization. Esther has always been available to answer questions and make recommendations. She would remind us that our girl had a deep chest so we should be vigilant about bloat and tortion. Well, the worst happened, she got tortion. Because of Esther's reminders we recognized what was wrong, and got her to KVEC in record time, she underwent emergency surgery and has now made a full recovery. Esther has also been very accommodating re classes. Even during the COVID-19 3 month shut down, March to June, she made sure all who had signed up for Mar/Apr courses were in the first June classes once in Stage 2. As only 4 students were allowed per class, Esther worked 7 days a week to fulfill her promise to those students. THANK YOU for your teaching, words of wisdom and caring. Esther you are the best!!
