Total joke as a driving school. Took the airbrakes course, I signed up online for a specific day but they didn't ask for any information (flag #1) I called them the next day to confirm and find out what was going on. First no one answered, then I got a call and no one knew what was going on or when I was supposed to come in (flag #2). I was asked to confirm the day before, in my previous experience, its the company who confirms stuff like that, not the client. (flag #3). The instructor swore like a sailor and it was basically where no one could fail, even the student who couldn't frickin understand the teacher. He gave us the answers to the test. All in all they were totally unprofessional and yes I got my paper to take the test but there is no way I would ever go back to take anything else.

The website is totally not what the school is descriptive of. Also, address is not where it is located. When you call the school, they will tell you to go to some other address which is not a school but some other company. If you call them again, they will tell you that the school is located behind the fence wall. Its a total waste of time. When you actually get there, there is a cargo trailer and inside is a guy trying to act as if they are a school. Not recommended. Stay away from this “school.”

After I had a bad experience with one cheaper driving school here in Calgary, I went to Jonas to get a good training that will not only help me to pass my test but more importantly to be able to operate safely and confidently. Being blessed for choosing Jonas driving school! Having the opportunity to learn from the world class instructor like Mr. Davindeer (The Greatest) gave me unprecedented experience and technical knowledge. His patience, knowledge and especially, ability to follow student progress is amazing. Did I mention that he has more than 15 years of driving experience, no ? Well, yes he does and that gave me additional confidence with him. In some situation he knew me better then I know myself! Every day they went over and beyond in order to prepare me for the final exam, and guess what ?? I had only 2, yes you read correctly, only 2 suggestions from examiner on my exam. I passed my class 1 driving test today, February 14 2017. Thank you very much I ‘d like to share my 11 months learning experience with you, so you can possibly avoid my mistakes I made on my long way to get my class 1 driving license. In February 2016, I decided to get class 1 driving license and at that time I thought that all driving schools are the same and I did not allocate enough time to find good one but instead, pick the first google came up with. That was a huge mistake that cost me buttload of money and almost a year of my life and in return, I received nothing (no knowledge of air brake nor driving). In January 2017, I gave up on my school and started to look for someone who can actually teach me how to drive, to do air brake inspection, circle check and etc. I came across a name, Bill, who is working on Jones Driving school. Truck drivers, who I talked to, spoke very highly of him. So, I decided to give him a call and in few days, I started practicing with him. Wow, that Dude can actually teach. I got all my stuff together and passed the driving test in less than three weeks, THREE WEEKS, I spent 11 months in my previous school to get nothing but here Bill did an excellent job in less than three weeks. What a difference. Good teacher is a rare breed nowadays and Bill Bulvinder (sorry, If I spell it wrong) is one of them.

Jonas Driving school was an amazing experience! My mother and my sister were also taught by Jonas years ago, and they enthusiastically recommended him, so it was an easy choice. The classroom lessons were straightforward and comprehensive! The driving lessons were great. Jonas knows what he is doing and he may come off strict, however, it paid off because I got my license only days after my lessons! I have never driven before and I was nervous on the road, so I am really grateful for the confidence he instilled in me. He is a busy guy but he will work around your schedule day and night. I strongly recommend him for new drivers and also for those who have driving experience in other countries.

so let me put this in to prespective, last sunday i decided it was time to get my liscence back after 10 years not having it, after findimng the jonas driving school card in an old wallet. i called him on monday, to see what it was about... after i had an idea of the course details, i checked around google to try and see if it was at a xcompetative price. after 2 hours of reaserch, i soon found that i wasnt going to find a better price.... so on tuesday i decided to bite the bullet and sign up. i figured get it done as fast as possible, and not procrastinate. i explained this to jonas, my instructor, and with out question he catered to my needs. so on thurs we did our first road test. i was a little shaky, as one might beleive after not driving for 10 years, but the way he got in my head was incredable... its so much information for me to take in on the first day, but apparently theres a way... after day 1, i had taken in so much information that i wasnt sure how it was gunna stick... so friday was my second drivng lesson... and to my suprise, i felt found myself feeling confadint right away... now, you have to understand that an intructor is there to teach you to pass the test, so while it may seem to some as tho hes harping on ya, thats not the case at all. i soon realized that repetition and habit play a big factor in driving, so when he repeats himself, hes not raggin on ya, hes helping you imbed the information with out youn even realizing it. anyways by the end of the training on fri i felt as thou i was driving with my bro. very comfertable. the feeling of feeling confadint and safe on the road is what a driver should strive for... we booked my liscence test for satuday. after a few hr morning cruise, i knew, i kwew what i was doing. so i did the road test. felt 0 preassure at all and 100%confadint i was gunna pass... and low and behold I DID IT!!!!! first try. peice of cake. so with in a matter of days i went from an idea to physicaly having my liscense again... learning with jonas changed the way i see traffic, the way i walk on the road, and most importantly, that i feel safe behind the wheel. THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO UR DRIVERS ED. just put in the effort, and in turn you will receive the greatest gift of all... peice of mind. Thx jonas again bro....

I am very delighted with Jonas Driving School, they teach you in professional manner and they work with you schedule what ever time that would work for you they try to make it up to you. Bill was my knowledge and road instructor, he give you professional advices from his experience for many years as a Truck-trailer driver and instructor. He well prepared me for my air brake knowledge test and my class 1 road test I passed all in first time my class 1 test. That doesn't mean you don't have to study you still gotta put your effort. tbh it is the cheapest driving school I seen in Alberta it was worth my time and money for me to drive from Edmonton to get the course. thumbs up for Jonas driving school.

Jonas is a really good place to learn how to drive it is safe and you get everything you need for the instructor to pass your exam . I definitely recommend that school to everyone looking to learn how to drive from class 5 to class 1 . i really enjoyed my time there

I highly recommend this Driving School! Very Good Service, Yet Affordable. I enjoyed our In Class with Teacher Jonas who is very kind person and specially to My InCar Instructor, Leyte and Jennifer. They are very calm, friendly, very patient and very helpful. They really helps me to gain my confident in driving. They are the best instructor for the persons like me that don’t know how to drive yet. But Yes! I gained experience and confident in driving and they are one of the main reason why I passed my driving test. Really happy I am driving now❤️????

As with everything in life there is good and bad points, however I was treated to an excellent professional driver education a great price and a pass of the road test on the fiirst try. After 10 hours I was confident and I can credit Bill for his instruction and Jonas for making it affordable. I recommend.

Jonas driving school is the best driving school I have ever seen. I highly recomend jonas driving school, I passed my class 1 road test the first time. I especally liked the cleanes of the yard and the brand new trucks that are very good for backup.
