The in class lessons where informative but i did not feel like i got my moneys worth from the in car lessons. I was promised to be taken on the highway and I never did. All sessions in car where all half hour but charged an hour each. During one session, Sam made me pull to the side and asked to wait in the car for 15 minutes of my time so he can use a washroom.

The in-class training is little bit boring but had it's own benefits to make the individual as more knowledgeable person. Where to start? If you're going to take driver's ed here, ask for Clive. I cannot stress this enough: Ask. For. Clive. He's amazing. I came with a lot of bad driving habits - things I'd picked up driving in other countries. Clive was able to help me correct my mistakes, and really make me feel comfortable on the road here (in all conditions! He took me on a terrible snowy road just so that I would have the experience, and gave me excellent instruction the whole way!). I passed my G2 test on the first try, but even more importantly Clive is a wonderful and encouraging instructor. If you are anxious, unconfident, timid, or anything like this, ask for Clive: he will honestly help you.

Thanks Philip! He taught me some good tips for driving skills and the confidence to take it. With his help the test was a breeze. Update: Returned 1 year later to take my G driving test. My car developed mechanical issues that prevented me from being comfortable in using for the G test. Sam came through in the same polite, courteous and professional manner as Philip. Phillip was a great instructor - he is comedic and nice, so instead of yelling at you when you make a mistake on the road, he makes a joke about it and politely tells you how to fix it. He frequently made me drive in the area where I would be tested so that I would familiarize myself with it. Through his help, I passed my G2 test on the first try; similar to 90% of his students.

I had a great experience with Allpros-driving school. I took the on road training package with Philip. Philip was very kind, professional, to the point, and very helpful. This made the learning experience all the better, as I was calm and felt confident in my abilities. I looked forward to each lesson. Philip taught me many driving and parking tips which led to me passing my G2. His kind and encouraging methods of teaching were exactly what I needed to truly be ready for the road test. I was nervous when driving to begin with, but Philip was calm and reassured me that I would do well. Which led to me being more confident while driving. I purchased the 5 hrs + Car for the G Road Test package from Allpros and it was worth it. Philip really knows what's expected of us in the exam and I was able to pass it in my very first attempt. We spent the 5 hrs practicing in routes that turned out to be the EXACT one I had to take in my exam, so I knew every little detail about it, such as all speed limits, which corners were dangerous and required some extra attention, how and when to speed up/slow down in highway access ramps and exits etc. Thanks Allpros and Philip!!

I went to all pro’s driving school because they had a great start rating for reasonable price. My driving instructor was Clive and he was an AWESOME driving instructor! He had me driving his car in about 3 weeks. I would have to say his methods of teaching are very good and knows just how much to push you to get you where you want to be. Philippe, the owner and in-car trainer, is aggressive in demeanour, and inattentive as an instructor. Most of the lessons he was yelling on his phone in between yelling directions, and it was hard to tell which was which. He attempted to hand out Jehovah's Witness pamphlets during two lessons. I have nothing against other religions, but it was strange and off-putting for it to happen in a business/class context. Philipe cancelled several driving lessons in a row, turning what should have been a couple weeks of in-class and in-car lessons into over four months of perpetually rescheduled lessons. The content and quality of what was learned was extremely poor. After supplementing the lack of education from All-Pros with another instructor, it became clear how much was actually missing from their syllabus. When I tried to get a refund for the poor service and business, Philippe yelled at me repeatedly over the phone while swearing at me. The reviews and ratings on Google were most definitely payed for, as this company is a joke. There weren't more than 3 people in any of the classes I went to, and it is because the word-of-mouth review of them is terrible. The classroom instructor (also Philippe) went on a "coffee run" for himself halfway through a lesson for over an hour, dragging the class much longer than it was supposed to. Moreover, they charge $200 more than any other driving school in Ottawa. Please do not let yourself be duped by the ratings, and do not pay this man anything or support this "business".

Excellent, Outstanding, Exceptional, Above average.. these a just a few words describing All Pros driving school. If you want to pass your G2 road test do yourself a favor -skip all those mediocre driving schools and book with All Pros. As a 43 year old highly anxious/nervous female who has had a life long fear and of driving and who had lost all confidence in my ability to drive due to past bad experience with another driving school, I can proudly say that I passed my G2 and I have confidence in my ability to drive and to keep learning and improving. This is all thanks to Phillip, my instructor who is a kind, patient, supportive and positive teacher who will never humiliate you, belittle you or make you feel hopeless about learning to drive. I chose Phillip because of his positive online reviews and I do believe that if you are like me, an older learner with much anxiety, he is the instructor to choose. After our first session he went on Holiday and I continued with Farzil, and although Farzil is a good teacher i found him rude and insulting. Jokes like : It will take you 100 years to learn how to drive or when he points out how I am too slow to learn and every lesson he has to start all over again, made me feel pretty bad about myself. I waited for Phillip to return and did a total of 23 hours practice with him. He was always on time. Since I work long hours he was also able to accommodate my schedule. The price of lessons are very cheap too! I purchased packages, my second one included the car rental for my road test. Since this company has been in business for so long they know the ins and out of the G2 test. I do believe I would not have passed had I done this otherwise. THANK YOU PHILLIP , THANK YOU ALL PROS DRIVING SCHOOL. You have helped me pass one of the most difficult hurdles in my life!!!

My instructor was Sam, outstanding. I had problems at first, but on the day of my test I passed with very high score. Now I have my G2, all thanks to Sam. Sam has the eye of a hawk, he will never miss a single error you make, soon enough all your weaknesses are gone. Allpros is an excellent driving school, and very affordable, highly recommended.

UPDATE 2019: I went with AllPros again for my G Road Test and like last time, I passed the test on the first try. If youre looking to ace your road test, whether its your G2 or G, these guys are the best. Professional, always on time, and great instructors. Back in 2016: Unlike the previous driving school and instructors I had who took me to run their personal errands, pick up their students, and cancelled or changed schedules last minute. Good thing I switched schools. The guys at AllPros Drivers Ed are really all professional. I had Fazal for my G2 Road Test in-car lessons and briefly met the owner, Phillip and they are awesome people . They are eager for you to pass and are always ready with great tips and words of encouragement. Thanks again guys!

Had a very good experience with them. They were able to fit me in last minute for a 5 hour package of lessons before my G2 road test. The instructor was clear, all that was shown to me I was tested on and passed on my first try! They will fit their instruction based on what you feel like you need to work on and build up your confidence. Will be taking more classes with them for my G exam.

He is a teacher that is genuinely caring, patient and efficient with his time. I had a great experience learning how to drive with Clive and I learnt more with him than the other school I was at. He explains driving techniques and rules through visual aids/guides, and positive criticism which I found very helpful. He was very focusing on details and corrected my bad driving habit very patiently. I did all pros driving school with Clive. Best professor hands down. We all had classes with him in my family. My sister started with him, and my mom followed. And when came my turn, they recommended me to go with him, and I am glad I did. I used to drive here and there before I started allpros and taught I knew what I was doing (couldn't have lied more to myself). Clive really taught me the CORRECT way to drive. He really appraises you on your progress and will tell you straight up if you're ready to drive out there. Not going to lie, he is not very patient with you, but that is only because you only have 10 classes to get it right! So, really put in your all when you are learning to drive. He taught me great tricks that made all the maneuvers easy to do, and all you learn becomes second nature. I passed my exam first try with very minor mistakes. You just have to listen and apply what he teaches you. I would recommend him 100% if you do go to allpros!!!

I have to edit my review now, since the main problem was finally resolved, see at the end. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* You get here exactly what you pay for - poor experience with no respect to your time or yourself personally. The following is my experience - yours might vary so take it for what it is, wall of text below. In-class experience was actually pretty good, no complaints there. The lecturer (Sam) was experienced and showed himself overall as a nice person. However, it all took a U-turn when it came to the driving. The experience turned to appalling, and I say this after changing 2 instructors and driving with them beyond the standard package. Despite being professional drivers, they were terrible at teaching me to drive myself and handling the lessons overall. I am not going to complain a lot about things like instructor raising voice or jerking steering wheel to avoid potholes, but take a look at examples below and decide for yourself if you want it. Being late to appointment was always a normal thing on instructor's behalf (from 5 up to 45 minutes late), without ever notifying in advance. I say "normal" as the instructor would not even apologize after getting late and not calling, offering excuses instead. On top of that, you will be forced to catch the instructor 1 day before the driving lesson - scheduling in advance is not an option. And even when you do schedule - you can't be sure it will not be canceled without notification. As was in one instance where I came to the scheduled lesson and waited on a parking lot outside in the cold. As the time we agreed upon had passed I tried texting instructor few times with no reply. After calling him I was told that I (!) had to call him one day in advance to double-check if he can come to the appointment or not. Right now he is driving with someone else and I can go home. No reimbursement or even an apology - do I need to mention that you yourself would be financially punished for not coming on a scheduled time? In another instance the instructor allowed himself to come for the lesson unprepared and go fill the gas/buy a coffee during my lesson, while I waited in the car. When requested to deduct the time spent at gas station from the lesson - it was taken personally and I was accused of being a bad person and given a short lecture on morality. When the above issues were escalated to the school manager, he actually took the side of the instructor. Another time after confronting the instructor for being late once more, he again took it as a personal offense and the driving experience fell through the floor that day. To the point where he would not talk to me after the lesson to arrange the next meeting. As of today, I still have a few paid hours left and I am starting to feel that my BDE completion certificate is being held hostage. As instructor said: "I am not ready to certify you yet" and this is the second time after I had already purchased additional package when I was "not certified" last time. Brief search revealed at least one other person in /ottawa reddit posted ~2 weeks ago with similar problem with certificate. I wish I did the proper research before coming here and I urge you to do it yourself. I do realize that I might not be the best driver (as most of new drivers are), but as of now I am feeling mistreated, cheated and super-frustrated. *UPDATE* After talking with the school director I was able to resolve the certificate problem, probably should have done this earlier. Looking back on the overall experience I should say it was certainly not OK, but considering the pretty cheap price in comparison to other schools it was a decent deal that might be worth enduring through if you are a cheapskate like myself. As I stated in the beginning - you get what you pay for. Now that my frustration numbed down I can raise my review to 3 stars. After all, the BDE certificate is the main goal of the school course: you can get a better price learning to drive with private drivers.

Drivers don't show up for scheduled lessons and make poor excuses for not calling to inform you. Will be rude if you try asking them why as well they were not patient when I had driving anxiety . I am sure many people had great experiences here. Sad I could not be one of them.

Went to Allpros, signed up for 10 hours of lessons.... did 6 hrs and passed my G2 test! Now that's efficiency. :) Instructor was Philip. *Edit* 3 years later I had my big G test, and Allpros gave me a one-hour refresher the day before my exam; helped out big time -- these guys know their stuff! Still recommend highly!

This is a good driving school. I took 10hrs of driving package for my G2 test. My instructor Fazal is really good, the techniques he taught me are very helpful. I passed my G2 test on first attempt. I would recommend this driving school to every new driver who is learning to drive.

If you are looking for a good driving instructor don't look any further. Seriously! Sam is a wonderful teacher, calm, soft spoken but firm in his instruction. You won't just learn how to pass the test but also how to be a good driver. You'll probably learn something new about yourself along the way too. He was extremely accommodating in terms of scheduling time for lessons and making his car available for the test, taking care of all the steps on the day of the test so I didn't have to worry about anything. My experience with Allpros was astonishing, the quality of teaching, the knowledge displayed by the staff and most importantly the patience. I followed the whole program from the in-class to the in-car, the in-class was good, i learnt a lot. The in-car was my favorite. FIVE STARS TO CLIVE AND CLIVE ONLY! I just received my G2 from Walkley road center yesterday. Overall, I had an exceptional DRIVING (in-car lessons) experience with Clive. I will break my experience down to 2 parts. The first is the in-class theoretical hours and home work. The second part is the in-car driving lessons presented by the AMAZING Clive! In my experience, the theoretical classes contribute to any G1 holder's knowledge to a very limited extent. This is more noticeable if you are a mature adult who is eager to learn, as you have to sit with a group of teenagers (mostly 16) who tend to fall asleep or go on their phones. Additionally, when the instructor does not follow an engaging lesson plan, it is easy to lose those teens in the first hour or so. However, If you are lucky enough to have Clive as your in-class instructor, rest assured that you will have an amazing learning environment because he believes in engaging student-led classes where they are constantly contributing and sharing their questions and concerns. Now that I registered for the entire package and went through the entire experience, I can say, with certainty, that I received all the invaluable unforgettable lessons in car with Clive. The first task that Clive accomplishes during the first hour of driving is to determine: a) how much you think you know, and b) what you need to know to not only pass the road test, but also develop and maintain great driving habits. He quickly identifies this gap and highlight essential skills, in writing, for you and goes through them one by one to make sure where you are in your learning curve. Sometimes, when I was having a hard time understanding a concept, he would delve into his collection of videos and power point slides and kindly break down the concept I had difficulty grasping. What I loved the most about Clive's teaching methodology was the fact that he is more than capable to do the math and tell you step by step what needs to be done to do a parallel park or road side stop or basically any driving skill that good drivers must know. He constantly repeats the steps out-loud until you internalize them. He never gets tired of repeating his lessons, he definitely does not yell, and is very patient with you. Another fantastic observation is that Clive knows the MTO driver's handbook by heart (which trust me not all instructors do) and goes over the highlights of every chapter with you as he teaches you. For example, when we were practicing how to react to stop signs, all way/regular, he asked questions and went over the significant ideas in that chapter of the book. Some instructors take you to Walkley road center from the very beginning and prepare you to test (as a teacher, I am well aware of the draw backs of following "Teaching to Test" method). However, Clive helps you maintain good skills first and when he knows you are ready, he takes you there. When we went there for the first time, we first parked and he introduced different parts of the center and where every skill will be tested. After that, we took our time and practiced forward parking, parallel parking, back parking, road-side stop, 3 point turn, you name it... Although most of my friends tried and prepared me for the possibility that I may fail considering the difficulty to pass the road test on Walkley, I successfully finished. I am the proud owner of a G2 driver's license as of yesterday, thanks to incredible Clive! I highly recommend Clive as your driving instructor. You can be 100% sure that you WILL pass that test with flying colors!

The only down side I had was with anyone answering the phone at their office. The online portion was very informative and easy to get through. During the summer I registered to a driving school that is supposedly the best in Ottawa based on their google reviews. I initially paid $560 to earn my BDE certificate and take my G2 test early, in 8 months instead of waiting a year. I took all my in class lessons and scheduled them around my two jobs. The problems and frustrations arose with my first in car instructor. Before I entered the vehicle I informed Clive that I had not driven before, then when I started learning the basics he became patronising and obscene. Some of the comments that went on during the lessons were “ are you thinking about what you doing”, “you're going to kill me what's wrong with you”, “stop doing that you're going to damage my car”, “you're going to cause a car accident it's very dangerous” all these comments were followed by excessive yelling, impatience and constant taking over of the steering wheel. I put up with such verbal abuse from Clive for 7 hours in car lessons, I used to go once a week because I became so unmotivated and frustrated. I reached my breaking point and reported him to his superior Philip who is the supposed owner and operator of the business. Upon reporting the issue to him, he did absolutely nothing and did not follow up to ensure this does not happen to another student. I had initially asked for an instructor who will be patient and understanding with me. Philip decided to take me on as a student; I scheduled an afternoon lesson with him and he was to pick me up from Orleans bus station. He came 2 hours late while I sat there in the freezing cold waiting for him. When he arrived he asked me for my driving license aggressively, and I told him I had forgotten it at home. Philip then proceeded to tell me aggressively and in a disrespectful tone that I must pay $30 for a lesson he had not given me yet. I could not pay the $30 at that moment due to other commitments. He then told me in a crude manner that their will be no lessons without the $30 payment. This went on from November 17th 2016 right up until November 23rd 2016 trying to schedule a lesson and payoff the $30. Every time I made a phone call it would be dismissed and then he would ask me to call him back at 9pm and that did not work for me because I would be working at that time. The second last phone call to attempt to schedule a lesson Philip argued, insulted me and began accusing me of having problem with him. He went as far as disowning me as a student by tell me “I do not want you as a student at his driving school anymore you are the problem not the instructors” and that he will repay me double the amount paid initially. They were all lies, because on November 30th 2016 I called Philip for the last time he then proceeds to act illiterate claiming he needs to repay only $114 subtract the $30 owning for not teaching a lesson, bring that amount down to $84. In my opinion this poor treatment and disrespect is based on racial and gender discrimination because he would not have dared to treat a white student the same way he was treating me. I am an African-Canadian and I grew up in my mom’s car and such disrespect is unacceptable.

For few years now, I’ve had Clive as a driving instructor and he’s amazing. I had him help me with my G2 and my G road test. I of course with years between my two test I drove well but had gained some bad habits so again I had Clive help me and followed all his instructions on how to be a good driver. Everyone in the school is very experienced over 20 years (as on today) and great people to get yourself trained. I was going from G1 to Full G license and I passed the test in one shot. :) I took the "Ministry- Approved Beginner Driving Education(BDE)" Course. My in-class trainer was "Sam" and my in-car instructor was "Philip". Both of my trainers gets equal and a lot of credits for me passing the test with approximately 90% marks. I am also very much Thankful to "Wafaa" (Philip's wife) for making me walk through the administrative process like a breeze with a beautiful smile.

I completed the G1 written test myself, then booked my G road test at Canotek and decided to take the full course at Allpros.. Thanks to Sam for doing an awesome job with our theory classes.. Very helpful! But my special thanks to Fazal (who handled my road lessons) for his patience with me.. Since I came from India it was difficult for me to initially get acquainted with the new driving conditions, the lane markings, signs, etc. and then the baggage of my previous driving experience (where I had the steering wheel on the right side, driving on the left side of the road, etc. etc.).. To top it all, my road test was scheduled within a month of my joining Allpros.. Fazal really went beyond his call of duty to assist me and it was due to his meticulous help, I was able to confidently clear the G road test... I highly recommend Allpros!!!

There are just not enough words to describe the awesome experience I had with the Instructor (Clive). Very spot on driving lessons and he makes sure you get the best value for your money and also time. He tells you all you need to know, what you need to pass your test on the first try. I had lessons with him for my G2 and G Drive tests on Walkley and for both, I passed on my first try. He not only teaches you how to pass your test, but how to become a great and responsible driver. As a 30 y.o. student, i found the classes very informative and the book they use extremely well done - too bad we don't get to keep them, but i am sure i could find it online. The in-car lessons were very helpful and Phillip, my teacher, was extremely patient, gave many tips, was focused on making me feel comfortable on the road and knowledgeable of the driving exam ways, he also has a good sense of humour and taught me how to best handle situations on the road. Note: It is true that you can try to call him during the day, but the message has to be quick as he is most likely on the road teaching. Otherwise, call him during weekdays at 21h. Note 2: He also has a good system that 24hrs before an in-car lesson, i have to text him if i am still okay for the next day's lesson. Everything was great. Nothing to complain, really.

I paid $560 for my daughter to attend this driving school. In class was Professional, however the in car driving instruction was horrific. The female driving instructor was a nervous driver and would yell things out in Russian and because of this rode the brakes and made the car jump. She did not give advance notice when wanting my daughter to turn, basically screamed last second to do so. She threaten to not let her use the car for her drivers test even though it was part of the package that we paid for. She made up her own rules, for example: stop the car when someone's walking along the side of the road. She made up conspiracy theories that city buses wanted to hit you to cover up damages to their buses that they may have accidentally caused. She said that people will jump in front of your car so they can commit insurance fraud and live on your dollar for the rest of their lives while claiming injury. She also showed up late to the appointments and took personal phone calls when in the car. She also yelled at my daughter that it would be impossible for her to pass her driving test. We notified the school about the woman. They gave my daughter another instructor but did not recompense her for the wasted time with the female instructor who had taken her out three times. The owner took her out for her last session and passed her with 88 percent but then notified her that in order to use his car she would need to take extra sessions with him at a cost of 40 dollars per hour; when she refused, he argued with her and my husband had to call him and request the car usage money back. We cancelled the use of the car and were reimbursed the 30 dollars that was paid. We have had to retrain her on basic things that the female instructor had taught her wrong and made her a very nervous driver in the process. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would rate it 0 if it was an option to do so.

Philip was a great instructor. I came into his course with a G2, but hadn't driven for maybe four years - and my license was about to expire. This being my last chance for the G without starting all over again, Philip took me driving around the city, on the highway/freeway, helping me practice my skills. I had Sam for my G test, which I did not pass. On top of that he made me commute on the bus to a street corner to meet him. He often was late and I was left in the cold. He's even made me show up and then arrived so late that the lesson had to be cancelled (after I commuted to him). Apart from clear scheduling issues, he yelled at me while I drove making me extremely nervous. The driving lessons are over $60 which is extremely over priced. At the end, Sam decided to book a vacation and not show up to my test. He sent someone else with a car I had never driven before. I did not pass, and Sam did not even contact me to ask how it went... avoid him at all costs.

I am happy and satisfied with my experience with him. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first hour I took with him, he talked a lot on the phone. It could be something he can't avoid but I believe when the students pay to learn, they deserve full attention. Another reason is he didn't warn me that they deduct marks if I am about to turn right and I don't go as close as possible to the right side walk. I am not very happy with All Pros. I went based on the google reviews and while everyone has been quite friendly, the service has been unprofessional. I do not believe that the reviews here are genuine. I was made to wait for half an hour as someone was talking to another customer without even notifying me or apologizing. I went through with it anyway because it was the most accessible school at the time. My instructor, Sam, was a nice enough guy but does not claim a lot of personal space and was way too close to me when adjusting the seat, etc. instead of verbally telling me what to do. His on-road instructions are not specific enough and also do not give me enough time to react. Nice people, but lots of room for improvement.

He was strict in terms of the techniques and hammering in the whys and whats, while also being a sociable, very calm person (despite my errors here and there). A professional. I've got my G2 in less than 15 minutes, the day of the exam, and I will go back to him to get some road practice for my full G.

He teaches you every single thing you need to know about the road and teaches you very well how to park and to drive. My friends recommended Allpros because she said they do a great job in teaching new drivers how to be safe on the road. But the one thing that makes them very unique is the fact that the instructors are very knowledgeable in the field, they show kindness to their students, and make new drivers feel confident when driving. I had the pleasure of having Clive as my instructor for my in-car lesson, and he was wonderful! I was expecting him to cancel many of my lessons, because my friends who went to other driving schools their instructors kept cancelling in0 car lessons many times. I was very glad that no lessons were cancelled! I study outside of Ottawa and I needed to get my lessons finished as soon as possible. Clive arrived on time, he arrived at exactly 9:00am everyday! This may not seem much to some people but it meant a lot to me. My instructor, Clive, showed that arriving at the time scheduled he cared about his work and his students. I have never driven a car before, but I was glad that Clive was able to teach me how to be a confident and a safe driver on the road. He showed me all the basics; left, right, changing lanes, emergency stops etc. With these he taught me little tricks when parallel parking, reverse parking, and forward parking. The tricks he showed me came very handy and I will always use them in the future. I am glad that I went to Allpros and got Clive as the instructor. Clive was able to teach me everything I needed to know in order to get my G2 license. After 10 hours of in car lessons I feel more confident in taking my G2 test. Thank you Clive!

To be honest I was the most nervous driver when I first started. Allpros was recommended to me by a friend of mine and it may have been one of the best decisions of my life. I barley had any driving experience and had my G2 test coming up in a weeks time. It was my first time doing my G2 test and it was my only chance before my licence expired. Needless to say today I passed with flying colors all thanks to Philip! It was 10 hours of boot-camp driving lessons just 4 days prior to my test and it payed off to the max. I wanted to learn how to drive this summer, and so naturally, I went online to look at student reviews of the instructors. I found that one name particularly jumped at me from many satisfied students, and that name was Clive. I looked up the driving school this "Clive" taught at, and proceeded to book an appointment with it. The only problem was that Clive hadn't taught there for a year. I got the owner at City Drivers (Clive's former place of work), and my time with him was horrid. Always late, always re-scheduling, always attending to his own business on my paid time. I did two hours with him, and it was the most stressful two hours of my summer. I went back online and tracked Clive down. I am glad that I did that. I met up with him and everything went smoothly from then. Driving, which seemed like a blood pressure-raising task, gradually became easier. I felt more and more that I could trust myself behind the wheel--because I could trust Clive to patiently teach me, and correct my errors. I got my licence today. I have nothing but good feelings toward my Instructor, Clive. Try him out. You will be glad that you did.

I was practicing on my own with a family friend after that for a few months and decided to book my G2 test for December of this year. I booked two practice sessions with Clive (the day before and the day of my driving test). Horrible place. All the 5 star reviews are fake. They will try to get you to bus closer to their end so that they don't have to drive to your house to pick you up. They yell during driving lessons making it extremely uncomfortable. I did about 3 drives before Clive told me I was a "good enough driver" and didn't need to continue with the lessons even though I paid for the amount we were supposed to get. Once he picked me up and there was a random guy in the backseat and he never even told me who this guy was in the back seat. Always late to the lessons and then the lessons are cut short. I only drove on ONE major road all the other times were in residential roads. Was absolutely horrible I have never felt the need to write a bad review on any place before until this place. DO NOT GO HERE.

Amazing Service ! From the start I was greeted by a very warm person who set me up with all of my details that I needed for the class. She was very accommodating to my schedule and reviewed with me all of the times for the in class modules that I would need in order to go onto the in car. All 4 of my of lessons were taught by a man named Clive. He is a great public speaker and the information provided was well delivered. I found it useful not only for the testing after the modules but very informative for on the road driving. My in car lessons were also with Clive as I preferred the lessons to be in french. He has high expectations for his students but they're all very fair. I completed 10 hours of in car lessons with Clive, learning to drive in the downtown area, rural areas, high ways, and most importantly maneuvers; (parking forward and back, parallel parking, along with 3 point turns and hand over hand). Ill be honest I was extremely nervous in the beginning but with Clive's very calm personality within minutes of each lesson I felt strong and confident. He was also very accommodating to my schedule (as a nurse I have very odd hours). I wrote my G2 test this past week and as per the gentleman who tested me he said I was a safe and incredibly strong driver :) ! I enrolled in All Pro's BDE program and did half the in-class with Philip and the second half with Clive. Everyone at All Pros were friendly and willing to help. I found Clive's teaching methods to be interactive through the use of videos and powerpoint slides. My in-car portion of the program was done with Clive, and prior to the classes I had never really driven before so at first I was a bit nervous. Clive started with the basics like how to properly turn and stay in your own lane, changing lanes, and then progressed to parking maneuvers and driving on main roads. Clive was to the point in his teachings and I found that helpful since driving is a serious thing, I needed to know what I was doing right and areas where I need to improve upon. No waste of time driving with him, you build on your skills every lesson and become more and more confident closer to the exam. I did all my 10 hours with Clive and passed the exam on my first try! I don't know why is there a lot of good ratings about this driving school . 1.)Their prices are expensive , as there are cheaper schools in Ottawa(I chose them because they have excellent reviews ,highly untrue btw) 2.) philip the owner loves his money and does not really care about you passing you exam or not (don't believe me? try for yourself) 3. He barely answers his calls and always requests to call him back later (he slacks a lot) 4.) overall , their business is not professional and yes I regret choosing this school. I'm not saying they are the worst but there is not a doubt that there is way better in the area.

Definitely recommend this driving school. I only purchased 2 hours and I had Sam as my instructor. He was very professional and in such a short time he helped correct my mistakes and prepared me for my G2 road test. I passed today on my first try!

I highly recommend AllPros-Drivers-Ed to those who are interested in enrolling into a driving school, as they are not only affordable but professional. They are willing to accommodate you such that if you are unable to attend a class for whatever reason, you can attend the missed lesson(s) on a different date without extra charge, given that you notify them well in advance. During the in-class lectures, I had two lecturers: Sam and Clive. While they had distinct teaching philosophies, both were professional and were able to convey the information effectively. My driving instructor was Fazal. He was a very friendly, kind, polite, and professional individual. Moreover, like his colleagues, he actually cares about his students, and was always quick to reply to my texts. Furthermore, he would always pick me up at my house for my driving lessons, which was obviously very convenient. As an instructor, he was extremely patient, and, in a gentle manner, would calmly point out any mistakes I made and gave suggestions as to how to avoid those mistakes in the future. Before taking driving lessons at AllPros, I had only driven a handful of times, and had little knowledge with regard to driving a vehicle; however, with Fazal’s expert advice, I was able to learn the necessary skills within a short time frame, and I passed the G2 road test on my first attempt. He was also kind enough to drive me back to my residence after the road test. Ultimately, I am truly satisfied with my experience at AllPros-Drivers-Ed, and I am so glad that I had such a great driving instructor. In order to prepare my G2 test , my friend recommended me Clive. The first lesson , I was driving as in Italy where I got my first driving license. He took note of all my mistakes and we started working on them. Today I’m happy on how I drive with new techniques. i will say that Clive is the best instructor. Amazing experience with All Pros. Whether you're a completely new driver, or just need some touch ups for a driving test, I'm sure you'll have a similar experience. Not only that, but when comparing prices to other driving schools in Ottawa, you'll find that All Pros has a much more budget friendly, pay structure. I had Phillip as my driving instructor, and he was very kind and informative throughout the whole process. Whenever I would make mistakes, he remained as so. After 8 hours of in-car lessons, today I successfully passed my G2 test, and its all thanks to Phillip. 11/10

Very unprofessional company. I have sent numerous emails and have called multiple times. I have left voicemails and have still not heard back from anyone. I have also attempted to go in person to register yet the hours posted on their website are different than the hours posted on the door. Despite the hours posted on the door saying they were open, they were closed. This is no way to run a business or treat customers. If anyone is looking into drivers ed, try city drivers, they are less costly and treat their customers with respect.

As a person with spatial issues, and an intense anxiety about driving, driving well has always been an issue for me. When I was 18, I invested a lot of money in a couple of driving lessons for a main-stream driving company, youth-drivers or something. After paying a lot, and going through pain-staking lessons with a less-than friendly instructor, on my last lesson he concluded that I was one of the worst drivers he's seen. With that blow on my ego, I retracted from driving, and was convinced that I wouldn't be able to drive a car, let alone pass a road test. Years later, back to the present, my father had a stroke. The panic of not being able to jump in a car and drive over to him was sobering. I realized I had to do something. My best friend called me up and told me about how she passed the G test, thanks to her amazing instructor Philip. Under Philip's guidance, my friend's cousin, and her sister passed each road test with flying colours. I called up all-pros, and insisted upon having Philip as a coach. Philip was very personable, and well-informed. Under his wing, I was able to gain confidence in myself as a driver. He's quite flexible and honest. I paid for 20 hours on the road with him, and we used up 18 and a half of those hours before my g1 exit test (the rest of the hours will be put towards training for my G). When I took the g1 exit test at canotek, I was nervous. Luckily, Philip's teaching and encouragement stayed with me, and to my surprise I went from being one of the worst drivers to getting 100% on my g1 exit test! I passed with no errors, and Philip was so proud of my progress. He said it was all me, but I don't believe so. Had it not been with Philip, I don't think I would have gotten such a great result. His patience and kindness made all the difference - more than he'll know I think. He's the best driver instructor I know (I've had three), and he doesn't give up on you. If you're a nervous driver, like I was, please consider Philip. He's your man!

Reviews are fake as the school itself. Drivers are extremely mean and angry when you make mistakes. Do not go to this school. In class, the teachers are on their phones and do not care about the students. Almost Half of the time they just play videos from the 90's. Not worth the 600$ you will be spending here.

My learning experience at All Pro's Driving School was great! I was able to complete my in-class theory lessons during the summer in four days and was promptly given a driving instructor soon after to begin my lessons. I had Clive Choo Fon as my driving instructor and immediately passed my G2 exam with his instruction. I greatly appreciated his accommodations for my school and work schedule. I personally do not recommend this place. Their driving school is as fake as are these reviews. Driving instructor was very aggressive and instead of solving my mistakes, he shouts. If you do choose to go here, I recommend changing the driving instructor if you feel uncomfortable - or just do not come here at all. Driving instructors should not be aggressive - they should help solve your driving errors.
