As a student who had limited in-car experience, I highly recommend choosing Verma Driving School for your next G2 or G test! I am pleased to have passed my G test today on the first try after booking 7 hours of in-car lessons and an additional 1.5 hours on the examination day with Raj, happening within the span of 2 weeks over the holidays. I am extremely happy with the thoroughness of Raj’s in-car instruction as I was able to learn all the driving techniques and highway merging/exiting skills needed for the G test. I found it valuable how Raj catered each lesson by working on my skills that needed improvement. He also provided me great advice and reminders throughout my lessons that increased my confidence on the road and reduced my test day nerves! I wish I could give the team an award! After searching for weeks for a test date, I finally got one. The only problem was that the test time was less than a week away. Looking online I decided to contact Verma driving school based on the numerous amazing reviews! My requirements were not a small order. I wanted to work with a female driver, and I wanted an extra lesson all while having an early morning test time. Not only did they respond within a day, they confirmed the time for training and reassured me that everything was set in stone. Verma proved itself even more remarkable when I met my instructor and co-owner Neetu. She made me very comfortable in the car, and helped to correct all of the bad driving skills that some of my driving instructor in Toronto had taught me. She made me feel like I was going to pass the test and her attitude made me very comfortable with the situation. Even as my 10:05 am test was pushed back to 11:00 am and then 12:00 pm and then finally 12:30, she stayed with me and kept me calm and entertained. Even when she had to take another student for a lesson, she still returned to pick me up and drop me off at my home. If that isn't an amazing experience, then I don't know what it is! Amazing and award deserving! Highest recommendations!

This is my first ever review..! I passed G2 on the first attempt. Neetu is an awesome instructor. Raj was cool and motivating. Raj pointed out few mistakes in a such a way that I will never do that again while driving. Even though I had driving experience in India for 9 years, I had initial struggles in driving on the right. The classes were scheduled and started on-time. I gained confidence in less time than I expected. Thanks to Raj and Neetu. Raj and all the instructors are so nice, understanding and helpful. They really care about how well you do and they cater the lessons to your skill level. I had to get my license as quickly as possible for a job, and they made accommodations every time I had to make last minute changes to my testing day. They even let me do my test in Kitchener so I could have it done faster. The office is in a bit of a strange location but don't let it deter you. They even had refreshments for every in-class lesson :)

I choose Verma Driving School because of most affordable prices compared to others schools in Guelph, and I am very happy with my choice. Raj is an excellent instructor, with him I learned the parallel parking just in few lessons, although it has been my problem over the years! Driver instructor is very unprofessional and always always showed up late. I sign up my husband for this and today he had road test exam. My husband was up early and waiting for the instructor to arrived. He was booked for 2 hours lesson before his road test. The instructor showed up 1 hour and 30 minutes late or probably more than that. My husband ended up getting 30 mins or less lesson instead of 2 hours before his road test. And the driver instructor didn't even offer for a refund or anything. Very unprofessional as we book the schedule ahead of time and it is definitely not a good idea to be late for his road test. He was booked for this lessons ahead of time and it all messed up. It was very unacceptable as we booked everything ahead of time. This poor guy waiting outside the house and nervous about his road test. It was extremely not cool and definitely unpropessional. We definitely need our money back as we are not happy at all with the service. If I can only give 0 star review , I will be happy to give that. I would not recommend new students to sign up for this company. Instructor always showed up late and can be really rude.

Verma Driving School is definitely a well planned and designed driving school. I suggest starting with the in-class session so that you finish the school in a timely manner, as many students who start with driving tend to procrastinate with the in-class as the second phase. Both teachers are patient and incredibly helpful in teaching you the rules, safety and know how when it comes to driving. At any skill level they are able to pinpoint areas you fall short in and help you fix the problem. I would suggest the school to any new drivers out there in the Guelph area.

I had a fair amount of driving experience, but had never taken a driver's ed course, and was feeling a bit nervous about doing my road test. Verma driving school was fairly priced, accommodating, and professional with schedules and communication by phone, text, email and payment options. Sincerely without a doubt the best driving instructors I have ever experienced. This driving school is family run and extremely caring to their students. Our results were successful although we had a difficult task with my senior mom who struggles with a language barrier. The instructors for Verma School didn't speak our native language but were so caring and calm that the language was not an issue and today we are proud to say my mom PASSED her G2 driving test thanks to Nito and Raj. I used a different driving school in my hometown but took lesson with Verma because I was in Guelph for school and didn't want to commute back for my initial driving school. The difference between instructors was DRASTIC. The male from Verma was so incredibly kind, used very helpful terminology, and made me feel way more comfortable with driving. I had my test in a week and I drove with Verma for 5 days beforehand and I truly think my driving improved significantly and that I passed my G2 due to Verma. I'm gonna go back to take a few lessons before my G as well because I know how helpful it will be. I recommend them to everyone, if you are thinking about choosing Verma DO IT. Had such an amazing experience with Raj. He was very patient and gave constructive feedback on my driving skills. At the end of my training session, he took it upon himself to discuss with my husband and I, what the road test examiner would be looking for, and what skills I needed to practice. Later in the evening, I called his cell and he spent close to half an hour of his off work time, explaining the route we took at the training session so I could go back and practice on my own. This is so I may be familiar with the area as I chose to do my road test in Guelph but don't live there. He truly went above and beyond and I was amazed at his work ethic. They are too good in what they do. They are extremely professional, organized, dedicated, punctual, patient, friendly, and flexible. Be it sending reminders for the next drive class, timely pick up, or the way they provide tips for safe driving, they are a class apart. Even when we had to prepone our drive to an earlier date with not even 12 hours of notice, they adjusted their schedule to accommodate our request and got the car for drive test. More than being professionally competent, both Neetu and Raj are very good people by nature. I highly recommend Verma Driving School. They are very professional. They would well prepare you with everything you need to know for your road test. During the in-class sessions, due to the small class size, students were divided into groups and everyone got to participate in the group activities. The in-car sessions were amazing. Happy I chose Verma driving school! I’ve booked a car for drive exam with an extra lesson from Verma on the exam location. Because of last moment lack of clarity on Covid phased reopening rules regarding in-car instruction and driving I was not able to use their car, which they’ve understandingly reimbursed me for. I’ve used my friend’s car instead, but Neetu and Raj still supported me and volunteered to address my last moment questions before the exam over the phone despite we never ended up meeting in person. This kind gesture on their end boosted my confidence before the exam and I’ve successfully passed. Communication has been quick and easy throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend their services.

Raj is a great driving instructor who helped me overcome my nervousness of driving! He's calm, friendly and knowledgeable about not only the rules of the road but driving smart. So happy to have passed my test! Editing my earlier review due a poor experience with the payments and exchange with the office staff. I originally had issues with payment for the rental of the car for the test, they kept quoting more than what was originally on the website (which has only recently been changed). Then, through no fault of my own, the test ran late so they kept the $90 refundable deposit. So in total I paid $170 to rent a car for my test. All of these costs are hidden in the terms and conditions, and not clear prior to booking. I would recommend Raj as an instructor, but read the entire fine print and policy from Verma if you don't want to get screwed over with additional payments and confusing policies.

However, after taking lessons with Neetu and Raj, I feel super confident and no longer have a primal fear of driving. The driving school accommodated me on very short notice and I appreciated the text reminders about upcoming lessons. Neetu is super patient even after consistently proving to her how dumb I am, she takes the time to explain the logic behind each car maneuver, and is just an overall badass when you get to know her. Raj is super laid back and always cracks jokes to help ease my nerves which subsequently prevents me from puking all up in their car. They are a power couple and you will walk (or in this case, drive) away with the skills you need to win those late night street races! Just kidding, those are very illegal, but I wouldn't be writing my first review if they weren't that good. Do yourself a favour, choose Verma.

Raj and Neetu are both very knowledgeable, fun, overall great! I had zero experience in driving and had no car to practice with outside of class, so I was fully dependent on the lessons. However, they both managed to ease my anxiety and get me on the road within 2 months of in car lessons, and I was able to take my visiting parents on a little road trip! Definitely well worth the price.

Had a wonderful time with the school! Affordable pricing on lessons. They provide excellent services and delivery. My in car lessons teacher was amazing. He taught every lesson with patience and made sure to explain things into detail had I any questions. I’ll definitely recommend this school because the learning atmosphere is just great! Would recommend Verma Driving School to everyone!! After having had terribly unprofessional and unpleasant experiences with 2 other driving schools in Guelph, I was very happy to have found Verma Driving School.
