Place is okay, Karan is a good driving teacher but Sanjeev is useless and fat and lazy and doesn't teach your properly. He's either eating in the car, or talking on the phone or making you go through drivethrus to get him food. If you ever go here I would highly suggest you ask for Karan to teach you in car. Also all the reviews on here are gimmicks, after you complete the driving lesson package, they try to force you to come on google and give them a 5 star rating.

I found this driving school very professional.As I do not have experience in driving I took the whole package and it went on well.I completed the theory part and graduated.I took all the driving classes and took some extra classes to become perfect.For the driving Sanjeev taught me from scratch.He is such a great instructor who makes us feel really comfortable while driving.It was fun learning from Sanjeev and I am waiting for my driving test next. Over all I learnt the basics well from here.

Right before my test I cured some last minute doubts with the parallel parking video. I will definitely come back to this driving school for my G test. Getting your license is an important part of being a new immigrant in Canada. Kingston Driving Academy helps you in an excellent way. My in-class and in-car sessions with Karen were wonderful where she patiently took the time to explain the nuances of driving with special focus on the different rules. Definitely had the best experience with Karen. I passed my G2! She was patient and kind in her instruction and made me feel very confident for my test. I failed twice before due to nervousness and she truly helped by improving my driving as well as boosting my confidence. I took close to 10 lessons with Karen (which are fairly priced). She never cancels last minute, fits you into her busy schedule and is flexible with pick up. I am truly grateful that I found her!

I started taking lessons with Karen right before the lockdown near the end of 2020 and when I started taking them again this summer I was terrified that I’d lost everything, but Karen has always been extremely patient with my anxiety, and has a really calming presence that helps to calm me down as well. I just passed my G2 road test on my first try and can’t quite believe how well it went. This driving school helped me so much, and Karen is a fantastic instructor for new drivers. If you’re scared, she will help you gain confidence behind the wheel and also give some tricks that make parallel parking and reverse parking easier to remember. It was money well spent for sure, and I definitely plan to book with her again next year before my G test!

Very disappointed in this service from Karen / Kiren. Do not pay in advance. She took my money and did not refund me for the lessons she did not give me. I took lessons before COVID-19 worsened in late fall 2020, for this reason I stopped lessons and she is trying to tell me it is my fault for cancelling. During the lessons, she would take her mask down to eat, would excessively spray headache inducing perfume, the car was very messy, she would always be on the phone talking to another student. Overall very unprofessional, and I am very dissatisfied with her service.

I decided to join Kingston Driving Academy before I ever got behind the wheel of a car and I am so grateful for making that decision. My instructor, Karen, played a huge role in learning how to drive well and safely as well. Thanks to her, I was able to pass my G2 Test in my first try. I decided to get classes again to practice for my G Test and her confidence in me boosted my self confidence and I became comfortable with driving on the highway. I just did my G Test and I passed. Karen is a very nice instructor and is very helpful when learning how to drive. I just passed my G test today and had to recommend my instructor Karen to anyone learning how to drive. Karen instilled in me so much confidence on the road and she helped me slowly build my driving skills with each lesson. It was exactly the experience I hoped for, and since I started off filled with anxiety and hesitation, I’m so greatful I had Karen to help me get to where I am today. She was the perfect balance of positive reinforcement and gentle advising and I hope anyone who needs this kind of instructor like I did would consider having her teach them too. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I was going to take my G2 test and took 1 lesson with Karen (Lady Instructor). The lesson was super UNPROFESSIONAL, she spoke to other clients over the phone during my lesson, she did not wear her mask at all times, and had a snack while I was in the car with her. She asked me inappropriate personal questions, and made judgmental comments. When the test was "done" she had me drive to her next client and had me sit in the back while the other unexperienced driver took the wheel to drive me home! Also, I am very worried about my personal information since she stores it in a very unsafe manner, in a notebook that can very easily get lost or stolen with all her other client's personal information. She also never responds promptly to messages. Thankfully I was able to get a refund for most of what I paid for because my test was cancelled due to the recent COVID lockdown.

In Kingston Driving academy, Class duration is 40 mints but they will not accept 40 mints class, accepts min 60 minutes or more. Its kind of cheating. They will try to extend the number of classes. Sanjeev/his wife is charging HST but they wont give any bills. He/She will speak on phone while teaching to student in car. You will loose your confidence level if you go here.

I admitted Kingston academy to get my G2 and passed in my first attempt. I really appreciate the effort my instructor put to teach me the ins and outs of driving in Canada. In the beginning I made several mistakes, specially in lane changing. My instructor addressed those and solved those problems accordingly.

Didn't actually go to this driving school, but was very close to. So this review may or may not help you. At the time, their website said that they had evening and weekend classes, and I was interested in taking their evening course. My friend and I went to the location hoping to take a look and register. Once we got there, the door was locked and no one was answering even though the website said that classes should have started by then. We called the office (yes, we should've done this beforehand - our mistake) and they said that they didn't have evening classes. She said that the office was open (with the door locked) and that there were no courses. We could hear her talking to us through the door, but made no attempt to open it even after we told her we were outside. At that moment, we decided to find a different school. Note: they have updated their website to reflect the schedule change.

The lady is such a greedy person, if u can’t attend a lesson she will tell you that she is going to charge for that. She will ask to come to some other place to pick you up so that she can save little gas and will never drop you at your place. so rude and pathetic. Such a waste of time and money.

Kiran was by far the best driving instructor I've ever had. After years of never getting the chance to be able to accomplish getting my G2, losing money at other schools, i finally achieved that goal today. This is definitely the ONLY school to go to in Scarborough. Every lesson was extremely in detail, all the tips and instructions were explained carefully, and i passed on my first attempt with this school.

Okay experience. Got my G2 on the second time. Sanjeev is an okay teacher, always on the phone watching videos or makes you take him to drive thrus for food. Karen teaches well in class. Sanjeev doesn't always pay attention when teaching and often an hour class goes by and you don't learn anything. Not a bad driving school but not the best experience either. The other 5 stars are a gimmick, they make you give them 5 stars and write a post once you passed your test.

My review is based on the relation two generations of my family has had with Karen at Kingston driving, she is a friendly instructor who instills confidence and is patient and willing to go the extra mile. I have personally only taken on the road driving lessons with her and have passed both my G2 and G licensing with splendid results each time. Karen caters to the most inexperienced drivers to those who do have experience and need that boost before a driving test. I would highly recommend taking a lesson with her to experience for yourself.
