Very good location. There are some angle parking available in front of the building. Open hours 8 am to 6 pm; Monday to Friday. Many services available including vehicle registration, license renewal, driving test, health card and others. I did not get proper instructions from the agent on my request and had to visit few times which was really frustrating. However, finally got documents from different location. I thanks the team for working and helping us in this pandemic.

They charge .52 cents per card transaction and suprise , they do each service as seperate transactions. Not cool. 9 dollars to pay ticket which court refuses to accept payments today for .

I went to the downtown location, the Filipino clerk overcharged me, and gave me wrong info as well, so I had to go back the next day, waste of my time. As they were inquiring, they found 3 other client were also overcharged. See your receipt for explanation... which the clerk refused to give the 2nd day. They had 4 employees from Philippines, and 1 Canadian!!!! Why cant they get COMPETENT Canadians for the right job? There is another registry in Timberley, I will try that location next time for service.........

We were at the registry to reschedule an earlier date for my son's driving test. We found the registry team very helpful, especially Punita Patel. She worked with us, even contacted the examiner & helped us to reschedule our appointment at an earlier date. As a poojang-mcdidd chef I did not enjoy this registry. It smelled of deep fried goat and malt liquor. There was some guy with a pet monkey and a purple hat working the counter. His name was "Beezer Twelve Washingbeard" actually a pretty chill guy.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms.Lendy and her manager for doing such a great job this afternoon when we went there to change my last name because I got married. Ms. Lendy is a very kind and soft spoken person who is always willing to help above and beyond in someones expectation like what she did to me....She is very knowledgeable on what she is doing and she is really good in explaining everything to me and my husband. She’s very patient and she always make sure that anyone who she assists has a smile on their faces when they leave the place. She always has a smile on her face and she is very accommodating. It’s not the first time that she help us with our Id’s and some documents but everytime we see her it never fails to give us the results and the outcome that we wanted. She is very efficient and I really like how she handles all the inquiry that is why I can say that she is an asset and I am happy because you can see and feel that she really love what she’s doing and very passionate on it. They are blessed to have her in their team and she is very professional and you can really rely on her. I can go on and on saying good stuff about her but I just want her to know that I truly appreciate her hardwork, it’s not an easy job especially when it comes to dealing with different people with different attitude and different level of comprehension it will really test your composure but for her it shows that she’s really good on what she’s doing and may the Lord continue to bless her in all aspects of her life and I really admire her for doing a fantastic job. I have experienced the worst customer service with this registry. They mislead me quite a few times just to get rid of me so they can serve the person next in line even though I patiently waited for my turn. Some of the ladies even seem to be very contemptuous and close to slap you in the face. I will not recommend any one to visit this place until they train their employees and may be get rid of those who are creating this unsatisfactory customer service.

i just would like to commend the lady jignasa , when i arrive in there the line up was quite pretty long and she was the only one in the counter...however the line moved very quickly ... because she is very knowleageble in what she do, she adressed and answers question and concerns in a profesional manner, very efficient worker... she always have a smile on her face every time ... she very polite and friendly ...

Awful service. Employees don't know what's going on in there. Slow line. No one working the counter. 30 people in there, and only 2 people working. Telling people to come in for certain services at certain times, show up and come to find out the person isn't there for another hour. Not a huge fan of wasting time. Will not be returning there.

They arent even able to recieve an email of my lease agreement so they can print it off for a hard copy to put in there files. Thats some basic computer stuff right there and they cant even do it. Useless.

Worst experience ever!I would have given them ZERO if that's an option! My brother and I went to downtown registry to ask why they won't give us a refund since they can't do any road test anymore. We called the government before going to their office just to clarify what our options are and the government representative told us that the registry should give us a full refund. The horrible owner?/manager (elderly Indian woman) claimed that our road test was CANCELLED (we went to their office 5 days before our scheduled road test to have it rebook. The girl assisting us wrote cancelled on our sheet but noted that we can rebook the road test within a year. She even wrote a note on their logbook that we haven't chosen a new date for our road test yet. It's our mistake that we trusted her and let her write cancelled instead of rebooked on the appointment sheet.) and not REBOOKED but she also insisted that they called us last February and asked us to take the road test that month even if we don't want to. So if the road test that we paid for was really CANCELLED on October then why bother calling us on February for a test schedule? The HORRIBLE owner should get her story straight if she wanted to keep our money without delivering us the service we paid for. She also had that audacity to call me rude even if she was the one raising her voice. I suggest they should refresh their knowledge on good customer service. Needless to say, no one in our family will be going back to that horrible place.

My husband and I went to registry office in downtown to get new vehicle registered and to cancel the old registration for the vehicles that got damaged due to flood. The lady on the desk named Dimpal Bhavsar was very friendly and courteous and knew what she was doing. It's great to meet people who give you the right advice and guide you completely.

Fort McMurray Downtown registry is one of the best registry in Alberta . I came from Ontario ,I changed my license to Alberta and registered my vehicle . Within 15 minites service had been done .all staff r well mannered and specially thier manager is so friendly . I recommend this place .

Awful service. Women behind counter insults me saying im ingorant and clueless by not knowing how to take a picture of a VIN.. even after i told her couple time there was no vin number on my home made trailer. She told me to bring the trailer here and shell show me the VIN... lol i told her ok perfect. Then sign me a paper that you allowed me to drive the trailer without a plate if i get pulled over.....of course she lost it. I show the sign "zero tolerance on bad behavior". .... pretty sure It works both sides of the counter. ... It was my last 6 try. As of today ..no plate on my boat trailer

Super slow, No professionalism, worst customer service. While doing The service clerk talk in their own language with other girls, doesn't even realise they are in customer service so they have to behave properly. Environment seems like amusement park with no professionalism and funny thing is if you call their manager to complain about it, she do the same thing talk in different language and laugh on your face...unfortunately this registry is close to my house but they won't get any single penny from me now

I must say I have been to other registries in this town and other town as well , usually the lineup takes forever they don’t move people quickly it’s just overall horrible but this downtown registry is awesome and awesome helpful people as well. I went to registry downtown & was returned because this lady Lendy told me that u have to bring government documents & I did take them with me but without looking @ those papers from immigration BUT the next following week I went there my work was done so nicely without any hesitation & with great help from Punita and other lady. Sorry to say Lendy needs to know how to communicate with people with respect.

I'm not one to go out of my way to do Google reviews but my experience today in this registry was above and beyond. I have went to to previous registries that basically told me that they couldn't help me in obtaining a letter of driving experience for my move to a new province. Coralee helped me today and made sure that I had everything I needed and that the letter was done to perfection plus a bit more since I have a commercial driver's license and she didn't want me to have any headache once I got to my new home at the ICBC registry. Highly recommend this spot and can't express how grateful I am for the service.
