For someone with absolutely zero experience driving commercial vehicles, this is without a doubt the place to start. The training is 100% hands-on from start to finish, the scheduling is incredibly flexible, and the instructors will teach you everything you need to know with near-saintly patience. They'll be in your corner through thick and thin. I unhesitatingly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their CDL.

I wanted to change my career and get my CDL, but I was nervous and unsure on the whole big truck driving experience. Stevens driving school took me in and started working with me. They explained everything to me and broke it down so I could better understand what I was getting into. My first couple lessons I was nervous with doing. After a short while of learning what they had to teach me, my confidence grew greater and greater. Now tomorrow I will be going for my road test and I am more than confident to do it. I had my CDL class A over 20yrs ago but let it expire when I left the industry. With a new carrier opportunity on the horizon, I needed a CDL again. A friend of mine recommended Steven's Truck Driving School. The Director of CDL training, Chuck Williams, worked with my flexible hours and set me up with Manny my instructor. Receiving elite training from the military as a Paratrooper to retraining in different carrier fields, I recognized the specialized training skills Manny has with paying attention to detail and repetition with top priority being safety. At the testing site I was told by my test facilitator that Steven's Truck Driving School is highly respected. I attended this program to get my A Class CDL. Jason was my instructor, and there isn’t a single negative thing about the program I can think of. Everything he taught was done in a manner that made it seem easy, and not as confusing and stressful as you think it would be. There was plenty of preparation for the road test and he made sure there wasn’t any grey areas for you before you take your road test. All in all it was a great experience!

By my opinion after went 2 school BTTI and Steven there is no comparison, I have 4 months with Btti and only one day with Steven is equivalent to more than four months with BTTI..You will not see any bad or new review on BTTI truck school because they made something to not put any bad reviews in them website...Don't thinking don't wait go to them and save your money and time.

Stevens truck school is worth your time and money!! I had Brian for my instructor and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor!! Very knowledgeable and friendly ! Very reasonably priced for the knowledge you receive!!! If your in doubt about a school to pick this is the one!! They also have online videos for the pre trip help learning outside of the classes which really helped me nail down the outside pre trip.

I came to Steve’s after starting at another trucking school. Steve’s has newer vehicles, flexible scheduling, and one on one teaching. Brian was very patient throughout the process and helped me pass. I would recommend Steve’s in the future.

I had a great experience with Stevens Truck School! Chuck and Manny were my instructors and I can’t say enough great things about them. They are both very knowledgeable and helped me get my Class A in a matter of a couple of weeks. As we all know the pre-trip can be difficult for many people. Manny was so thorough and has it down to a science. Between the pre-trip, the parallel parking, and the driving portion Chuck and Manny helped me a great deal and made sure I mastered every part before scheduling my road test. The price for the school was very reasonable and I would do it over again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is a no brainer, if you need your CDL Stevens Truck School is the place you want to be.

I would just like to say what a professional experience it was having Chuck Williams as my instructor. His knowledge and calming persona while in the cab is unmatched. The whole experience was an easy process, from the knowledge to pass the written permit , the actual instruction while in the vehicle , to being there for the road test always reminding me of the finer points. I would highly recommend Stevens Truck School and their magnificent director if you’re thinking of getting a CDL.

Stayed there for many months when school was closed for 3 months due to pandemic. Took 3 times for road test until got my cdl on 9.22,an unforgettable experience. Much obliged to my instructor Mr. Jason! giving me sufficient training on the road driving which benefits me all the time. His suggestions to change eyeglass keep me good vision during night driving. Highly recommend Mr. Jason who is very considerable for his students and his words always made sense.however, I did know a student of Mr. Brian from Taiwan failed 4 times of road test during parking section.

Just a huge shout out to trainer Jason ( Truck Instructor) and Chuck Williams . Jason is a great person and excellent trainer. He has a lot of patience but always pushes hard to make the student pass. I was getting frustrated and he would always keep me calm. Yes I passed and am a Class A driver now . Stevens truck school was amazing! They were incredibly flexible on days and times for my lessons allowing me to work my regular job and continue towards my goal. The price was resonable and in line with the other schools in the area. Mr Wahl and Mr. Williams are very professional and knowledgeable and take a true interest in the success of their students. Mr Williams has followed up with me to make sure I didn't have any issues and I have returned many times to keep my skills up to date. The trucks are clean and well maintained. I was concerned, being a woman, that I would not be taken seriously, but was treated with the same respect and dedication as any other student. Stevens truck school is by far the best school around. I started my CDL A training at NTTS I lasted there a day and a half. I contacted Chuck Williams and he took care of everything. I had Brian Cobb as my instructor, he has over 33 years of driving experience. Brian is a great instructor. He did a great job preparing me for my road test. I took my road test on Monday September 21,2020 and passed the first time. A friend who got me into NTTS where he went failed his road test twice. I have no doubt I passed because of the excellent training I received with Brian. If anyone is looking for a new career in truck driving Stevens is the place to learn. Thanks again Chuck and Brian.

This school is for you if your on a budget, jason and cody my two instructors were absolutely wonderful and laid back, very detailed with their instructions. You are 1 on 1, not like some schools out there where there are groups of students per 1 instructor. This school is all hands on with no class work, I would highly recommend this school if you are looking to get behind the wheel of a truck and do not want to pay an arm and a leg.

Jason, my instructor, was great. He was very knowledgeable and had me thouroughly prepared for my CDL B roadtest which I passed on my first try. The instruction is all one on one and you can make your own class schedule which is really convenient because I work fulltime. Everyone I dealt with at Stevens was very accomodating. This is really good cdl school if u need to have a flexible schedule they really care about their students and they will take the extra steps needed to make sure u pass I just recently passed my road test with ease and I wouldn’t of been able to do it with their two well trained instructors Brian and sandy I couldn’t have asked for a better experience they prepared me in every possible to be able to operate a semi the correct way and they teach u what to look for in every aspect so uk how to maneuver correctly.

What can I say? Chuck helped me from the beginning to the end. He paired me with Manny, and I’m so glad he did. Once I got started with Manny, I knew we were a good fit. He is firm and patient at the same time. Passed my CDL-A test the first time around. Both Manny and Chuck are stand up guys who taught me so much and helped me all the way. My experience at Stevens Truck School was awesome! Both my instructors (Cody and Jason) were professional and very patient. They taught me everything I needed to know to pass my road test. They did an excellent job in breaking down the lessons so I could fully concentrate on each aspect of driving. They are both always open for questions at anytime or advice when you need it. Just passed my road test today. Best money ive ever spent. Had Jason who was a great instructor, Honest and detailed. Another company was at the road test place that charges $12,000 for the program and the driver Bombed the road test. I paid less than half and passed on my first try. This is the ONLY place people should be going to get their CDL. great price and awesome people.

Fantastic school Brian and Sandy are awesome people and instructors !!! They give word for word pre trip instructions and plenty of time driving and practice doing exact same maneuvers that are required on the test and are patient.Passed first time no problem. If there is something you think you need more practice on just let they know and they will have you focus on it until you feel comfortable.

I recommend Stevens trucking school. I started the school before COVID-19 and finished early February of this year. While having lessons separated in two different years was a bit of a challenge, the end result was the same. I was able to pass my road test the first time!
