Good knowledgeable humorous patient in-class instructor Jeff and equally knowledgeable driving instructor Rattan. I had 0 knowledge in truck driving or Air brakes and Pre-Trip inspections when I started my training on November 04 2020 and ended up with loads of knowledge and confidence and a Class 1 CDL by December 16 2020. Never in my dreams I thought I could drive a Semi before. When an examiner raises both his thumbs up and say “THAT WAS A FANTASTIC DRIVE” says everything about the knowledge I got from this esteemed institution. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone planning to get a Class 1 license. Great School, probably the best in the city. I had an unforgettable 6 weeks of fun and learning. Wil miss u all (Jeff, Rattan, Remon, Mark) and those wonderful 6 weeks I was lucky enough to spend in your midst. Thanks a Ton!! Cheers ????

He didn't only teach me how to operate the truck, but also guided me on how to be a good driver in real life. Thank you, Mark, I love you~ seriously! To be honest, they are an amazing team. I would Highly recommend this school to start with. Whole crew is the best. They just don’t help you to get your license but they will help you how to drive a truck in a proper way. Mr. Rattan was my instructor and one of the best instructor. He helped me in each every way, they all were co-operative and always motivates the students. Had a great time learning with these guys????????

Just recently graduated from this school with a certificate, and a Class 1 license. From the classroom time, to all the weeks in the truck I couldn't have been more prepared for my future career. The Trainers and staff did absolutely everything to prepare me for my pre-trip, backing and road test. Just a great bunch of people, fun to be around, and they legitimately care about your success.. I would recommend this school for anybody looking for a career in the trucking industry.

Have my Class 3 Road test next week, non air brakes. Told up to a month ago that it was possible to have a pre trip inspection going and to follow up when the time actually is closer to the date. About 5 follow ups on my end over 4 weeks to be told that "Mark" will be reaching out to me the "next day" every time. When I called today, was told that its not an option and completely understand if there is no option that the company does for Class 3 no air brakes and no vehicle. Do not appreciate how I wasnt told from the beginning or even notified instead of being "brushed off" All good. I will pass without the help. Just more fuel to my fire. Thanks for nothing.

All the instructors at the Brandon Professional Transport Driver Training School were fabulous. They personally cared about if we passed and would rework their explanations if they felt we didn’t understand. The hands on training was invaluable, especially as someone entering the field with no confidence or understanding of how to care for and manoeuvre a truck and 53’ trailer. I left feeling prepared to begin work as a safe and competent driver, having been given the skills and knowledge needed to start down that road successfully by my instructors. Would 100% recommend to any and all looking for training in this field! Thanks guys, you gave this lady the tools to kick butt and take names in a world where people only picture men as being drivers!

I'm surprised by the low reviews. In 2013 I called trucking companies to see which driving schools they preferred to hire from. Professional was the favorite. I was warned to avoid taking any program that was shorter than 6 weeks. I'm sure not all the same instructors are still there but I had an opportunity to drive with three very experienced professional drivers and another as a classroom instructor. I had lots of driving time and much wisdom was imparted. No one goes easy on you and that's the way it should be, you only have 6 weeks to train. The one and only thing I can say that was a minor negative was the girly calendars in the trucks. The industry is changing, there are more women getting into trucking and with a diverse city like Winnipeg I could see some people who come from a culture where women are expected to dress conservatively possibly feeling uncomfortable. I have 6 years experience with no accidents or violations

I needed my class 3 with air for employment and had no experience driving a semi. My instructor Mark was very patient and made me feel comfortable. When I first started the course I felt intimidated and a little overwhelmed. Mark took the time to teach me in small steps and I was able to learn not only how to be safe but also more than MPI required to be a safe driver. On test day I was so nervous but Mark gave me a little pep talk and calmed my nerves, told me to go out there and show them what I know and that I "got this". Not only did I pass first try but I got 100%!! Thank you so much Mark and Professional Transport Driving School. I'd definately come back if I needed my class 1 and I'm recommending you to all my coworkers and friends to for driving training! You're the best thanks!!! ????

I don't know from where to start with.. They have 3 trucks in total and 6 students in one batch.. If someone not from the batch or outside has to take road test they will take one of the three trucks making 2 students sit at home or wait for 4 hours till they come back. But if you take 3rd attempt supervisor Mark will ask you for $350 extra. He will never ever compensate for the loss of numbers of hours and if you ask questions from him or if you are not interested in paying $350 for the 3rd attempt , he will not like it and once your training gets over he will give NEGATIVE FEEDBACK to all the companies he knows. Mark will never ever give 8 hours of in a day which he should be giving. Timings say 8 to 4:30 including lunch break. He will say that one person can take lunch inside the truck saving time.. sounds fine but what will happen is he will start at 8:30 will take LUNCH for sure by taking truck to a restaurant wasting time and will come back at 3. So instead of 8 hours you will get 6 hours something. This happened each freaking day. Sometimes he has to go to doc appointment sometimes he has to go somewhere bla bla bla.. later at the end of the day he will ask you to sign mentioning 8 hours of training. You will never ever get 160 hours of in cab training for sure. Oh yes if the truck has some repairs than forget about the training for whole day.. Mark is very greedy as well.. He will keep on asking each and every student for 2 bottles of whiskey.. He will call you after the training is over reminding bottle of whiskey. He hates counter questions. He just wants to hear "mark is always right". Owner is very good and he always keep on saying bad words for him as well.. I am getting less salary, he does not know about management bla bla bla.. His idiotic behavior will always gets on the nerves. It is total waste of money , time and effort here.. You start feeling like where am I stuck ..Its better to go elsewhere than going to PROFESSIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE..

My road test was on was on a Friday at 4:00pm there was no drawing straws Darrel, one of the instructors, volunteered to take me down to gateway. We even stopped for a coffee on the way down. Passed the first try without errors. The name says it all these guys are pros with years of experience, helpful advice, and all of them are great guys. This school is awesome! I went in with 0% knowledge on truck driving and ended up 100%. Never driven a trailer truck before and yet I ace the MPI test! Instructors are great. Good personality, especially Ryan. Lots of information you will get from these guys. They have over 25years of driving experience. And they will not give up on you until you get that class 1 license.
