I can't believe I passed my road test on my second try after booking sessions with Paul. I have this big fear of failure when I am placed behind the wheel, because of that I tend to lose focus. But their simplified way of teaching made me calm, comfortable. The tips when doing turns and the 3 simplified parallel parking steps helped a lot! Definitely recommend Panam Driving School if you are looking for a driving school.

As a first taker I went to a serious driving practice though my husband teach me on basics still need more pointers. With a thorough research looking for driving lessons site I found Pan Am driving school, I met Brinder-Paul Phangureh we went for 3 sessions from vertical to parallel parking, residential driving and hand to hand steering which really build my confidence and take control of the wheel. I passed for the very first try thank you for the patience. Thumbs up!

Very poor service. I had an appointment for today, and they never showed up, never called, never texted, nothing. I called their office 6 TIMES, 4 times they picked up. I spoke to them for about 10 seconds, and then they put me on hold for 10 MINUTES each time, before I was forced to hang up and try again. Worst customer service. Obviously they don't care, and they don't want my money.

Paul is amazing! He is very calming, patient and made my daughter feel instantly comfortable. He is professional, knowledgeable and is an excellent teacher. My daughter was nervous about the parallel parking, but Paul explained it in a very easy way to understand and taught her a very efficient technique allowing her to pass on her first try! My brother and sister had lessons with Paul about 15 years ago, my daughter this year and we'll be coming back again in 6 years when my youngest is ready to go for her license. When I first read the reviews I thought all the one stars must be idiots who don't know how to use a phone or difficult to deal with or something, but after trying to make an appointment and getting hung up on 3 times by their call center I think I might agree. My first appointment got cancelled because the instructor didn't show up, so some other guy starts texting me telling me he can reschedule. Cool! or maybe not so cool. I told him I wasn't free the day he wanted to reschedule to. He then decided text me 4 times and called 3 times within an hour asking me if I wanted to take this appointment I wasn't available for.

Today, for the first time ever, at 39 yrs old, I got my driver's licence, thanks to Paul's excellent instruction. I was so afraid of my road test. I had tried it once previously but couldn't leave the parking lot due to fear. I decided to take driving lessons to help lessen my anxiety about driving and Paul was such a great person to learn from. He helped me understand how to drive well, learn the rules of the road, and ultimately not feel afraid of doing my road test. He is also very funny and a very kind person. I would highly recommend Pan Am Driving School to anyone, especially if you are nervous about driving or being tested.

Avoid this driving school if you can. Very unorganized business. Dispatch never answers phone. During my first lesson my driving instructor argued with me WHILE I WAS DRIVING. (The issue was actually the fault of the dispatch who didn't relay my message to my instructor). My instructor was on her phone for most of my lesson too.

This was an excellent driving school and I would recommend it to anybody who is starting out or who would like to improve their confidence and skills in driving! I had Bobby as my instructor and he is very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. He pointed out so many errors to fix to become a better driver in general and gave many helpful pieces of advice for the road test which I passed on my first try. The cost is reasonable and the services are definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

My husband has just passed his road test on his third try with 0 points last Friday. After two failures, he was lucky to have Paul as his instructor and only one week later he’s got his 5F licence. It was unbelievable and we’re still in great excitement. Many instructors are good, but Paul is great and overall excellent. Paul is a very calm and organized person with abundant experience, patience and wisdom. At same time he is a very nice and gentle man and he has the ability to make people around him feel at ease and relaxed. Since English is not our native language and my English is a little better than my husband’s, sometimes I rode in the back seat of the training car with them. Although our oral English is poor, we always felt at ease and forgot about it. I think language is not an obstacle when learning from people like Paul. I can not drive at all and always feel nervous when thinking of learning to drive. But this time I have lots of confidence from Paul and am ready to learn from him in near future. This is my first time to make comment on goole review. I think it is well worth, not only for Paul’s dedication, but also for people who need help most for a driving licence. No matter what situation you’re in, novice, experienced or ever failed; and no matter where are you from, Paul is the best instructor you are looking for in Winnipeg. I have always been scared of driving! At 48 yrs old I needed to change that. Paul at Pan-am was incredibly patient, positive and supportive. I"m proud to say that I can not only drive but I"m comfortable with it! Great value for your dollar, you cant go wrong with Pan-am. If they got me driving they can get almost anyone driving!

Very frustrating today as the driver did not show nor call despite my three calls to the call /dispatch centre who assured me that they had paged the driver on my behalf. Have re-booked for tomorrow and will hopefully have more luck. If not, will take my business elsewhere.

I passed on my 4th try after getting lessons from Bobby. 2 of the failed (past) tests were due to immediate fails during parallel parking, so I let Bobby know and he made sure I practiced it until I got it down and made sure I felt comfortable going into the test. After some unpleasant experiences with other driving schools, I can say with confidence that Pan Am Driving School is and will remain, the best driving school in Winnipeg for many years to come! It is one place where you will definitely get great value for your money. It doesn't matter whether you are a newbie, novice or slightly experienced driver (coming to Winnipeg with a foreign license). Paul's teaching methods are unrivaled. He perfected our right and left turns and made parallel-parking a breeze. He never missed an appointment and will even arrive a few minutes earlier than schedule. He taught us a golden secret to maintaining a single lane and how best to navigate lane changes. Paul patiently explained the road signs far better that the Driver's Handbook. He also puts the interest of his clients at heart - a quality you would rarely find in other driving schools. Today, my wife and I have obtained our Class 5 F Drivers Licenses. Many thanks to Paul and Pan Am! If I could give minus 5 Stars, I would!!! Very disappointed and frustrated with Pan Am Driving School. I called to arrange driving lessons for my daughter, the receptionist was rude, forwarded me to someone to make an appointment. That guy hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. Called again, was forwarded to somebody else. The instructor contacted me the day before the lesson & asked if my daughter could meet him at Polo Park, when it clearly states on their website, that they pick up from home or work & I was told the same on the phone. So he subcontracted the lesson to a different instructor, who told me the day of the lesson, he was kinda busy. Rescheduled the appointment, he calls & tells me he's got the wrong address & it would take him too long to get across town & cancelled again. I told him, I was done & would contact a different driving school. He texts me & says "Please give me a minute Ma". I'm not his Ma!!! Very rude & unprofessional. Needless to say I contacted a different driving school.

I just had my road test and I PASS my FIRST attempt with flying colours! I was Paul first 2018 student and he definitely knows what he is talking about. I enrolled the 5 lessons package with him which was all done within the month of January and my road test was on Jan 29. I had no prior experience to driving and I get really nervous. Paul has a really calm and relaxing demeanour which really calm down my nerves. Whenever I'm in doubt , he would always reassure me and tell me that I could do it which was very encouraging. He's very prompt, he never misses an appointment. He perfected my parallel parking, he has his own method that made it easy for me to understand. I definitely recommend taking lessons with him! My sister is actually taking lessons with him right now. I'm very pleased and grateful for everything!

I received my drivers license on my birthday thanks to Pan Am. Their calm instruction and parallel parking strategy is something that I still use today. Many years later, I parallel park perfectly and impress all my friends. I don't know about the other instructors, but the owners Paul and Kulbir are the best.
