I loved taking road test prep lessons here. He taught me things my parents didn't know and I passed my road test on the first try, even when it was during a snow storm and it was the first time I had driven in the snow!! Everything he taught me was super helpful!!

Mike = money. My kid failed the driving test twice. Then I called Mike. Sitting in the backseat while he taught my son, I got to witness it. He's the best kind of teacher, explaining things in a way that makes you think, "Of course! Why didn't I think of it that way?" He had my kid confident, skilled, and ready. Passed his next test with only a 5 pt deduction for parking a bit too far from the curb. Otherwise, perfect. Mike's a great teacher, no need to call anyone else.

My daughter took the 5 hour course and really liked it! She then asked to do the one hour pre-test class with Mike. We actually did that one twice to make sure she was prepared with parallel parking and K turns. Mike was patient and understanding and explained everything to her in detail and answered all her questions. And the day of her test she was stressed because she had to use a different car because my check engine light was on; but I told her to just remember everything he taught her; and she passed with a 95 in a car she had only driven once prior to the test! Highly recommend Suburban driving!

LEARN TO DRIVE WITH MIKE!! My daughter did AAA and also did a one hour road test lesson with Mike about a week before her road test. He is the best! Explains gently, gives encouragement. is friendly. Her confidence increased 100% after one 1 hour time with him. Also did his 5 hour pre-licensing course that is required. He did a great job and she learned a lot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Best decision I ever made for my daughter! While drivers ed with Mike overlapped with her musical rehearsals during the winter through the school, we were lucky enough to sign up with Mike once driving schools opened back up! Great teacher and all the kids love him! Once the 5 hour licensing course opened up just over a week ago he was well prepared for online teaching, setting up classes almost every day for the many kids who had been put on hold, and come to find out he may have been the ONLY online class ready to roll on short notice once the ok was given by the state! My son and daughter took driving lessons with Mike. They are both very different drivers and Mike was able to teach both of them in ways they could each understand. When my son took his drivers test, the testing official used the same terminology that Mike used. Mike prepared him very well and he passed on the first try. My child attended a 5-hour Pre-Licensing Course with Mike, the owner of Suburban Driving School. Honestly, my teenager was not too keen in participating in a 5 hour class. It is just way too long especially for a 16-year old. BUT Mike pleasantly surprised us! My child found Mike's class not only informative, but really engaging as well. Mike makes the class interesting and fun. Then after several months, before my child did the official road test, I contacted Mike to see if he could give a refresher lesson, more in application this time (than theory). My child needed help with executing k-turns and parallel parking as well. And Mike delivered way beyond our expectations! Mike is really a great teacher! In fact, he is one of the best teachers my child and I have ever met! He is very clear with his instructions, he is very informative and accurate, and he gives very valuable tips. When my child does something that needs to be corrected or at least improved, Mike waits for the perfect timing to tell what it is and how to correct it. Mike is never condescending. In fact, Mike is very encouraging! It made a really great overall learning experience for my child! (The big bonus is that my child passed the road test on the first try!) I contacted Mike via text for a Road Test Prep evaluation for our son and he responded back in a very reasonable amount of time. While we never spoke on the phone, all of his messages were professional and included all of the information I needed. When I had questions, Mike always responded and answered them completely. Brad was very knowledgeable and really helped my son work through a few things he was struggling with and I learned a few things too! I highly recommend the Road Test Prep class offered by Mike! We found him online and based on good reviews, I booked an hour class for my daughter. Although a good driver in my opinion, she had struggled with the driving test and unfortunately had failed several times. Mike was able to give my daughter some pointers and answer her questions, all while I was riding in the car so I could hear his feedback and reinforce his corrections when back at home. He also worked hard on teaching her an easy way to parallel park, something she had failed each time in the past. Most importantly, Mike gave her the confidence she needed in her driving abilities.
