I visited the information desk. The girl was very kind and welcoming. She answered all my questions and explained to me the following : tuition fee is low and the cost of living in Montreal is lower than USA and the rest of Canada. There is a possibility to have Financial Assistance through the AFE department. If i want to summarize it, she said that the college takes care of the students and help them in many issues: Housing close to the college, Insurance, Transport to the Airport International Airport of Mirabel. She added that security is very high and life is peaceful in Montreal. Concerning my questions about the airport: she said The Airport is supervised by the civil Aviation of Canada So the students training is protected and guided by the controllers. The weather in Quebec is variable and goes from very cold to very hot. This allows the student pilot to be able to fly in all conditions with confidence and assurance. I was surprised that the pilot program includes ICAO AERONAUTICAL ENGLISH. This course teaches the technical vocabulary to pilots. My mother tongue is English but i am interested to be able to learn the exact terms to communicate with the tower controllers and understand their instructions. Also, i am excited to learn the names of the mechanical items. I will be able to explain to the maintenance crew what to check and fix before my take off. Since i was a kid i was passionate about flying and planes and today it is happening i am a student pilot. today!

The worst visa service. Never reply emails. Never answer your questions. When you call school, they always say “send email, I cannot help you”.thats it. They never reply! That’s why we are calling!! ???????? Only receptionist was very friendly. This 1star is for receptionist. Maybe, school programs is good. But I suspicious this school so much and very worried now. really sad and disappointed. :(

All the previous promotion of graduated pilots found very well paid jobs. 5.- The Academy is in the middle of the city and close to the metro station so there is no need to buy a car. My apartment was designated to me by the Academy. This is a fully furnished apartment including bathroom and kitchen, internet, phone, mailbox and concierge are all included. This was great for a student pilot. On top of that, all pilot apartments are located conveniently inside a large building with many common spaces Study lounge, Gym, Large Community kitchen, TV and cable lounge. 6.- When I arrived the Admission of the Academy covered me with a Health insurance policy. This made me feel safe if I must see a doctor. My student life in Montreal is so pleasant. There is safety and many activities: Pubs, Events, Festivals, Largest Underground City, and good Social life. Every day, there is something fun to do. Montreal is a perfect city for students 7.- During my stay, I always liked to cook myself. I met many girls in the community kitchen but when I started dating, I discovered that the food of the restaurants in Montreal is very good and cheaper than my grocery bill. Therefore, I decided to discover new restaurants often. Montreal is rich in culture and you can find restaurants from every country. 8.- I have researched many Colleges and Aviation Schools prior deciding were to enrol. I have selected the Academy to learn how to become a pilot. Today, I would recommend the Academy of Aeronautics to a friend. If you are a Young Man or a Girl and you want to become an Airline Pilot, join the Academy.

I want to thank the Collège d'Aéronautique because its Management arranged Financial Assistance and a payment plan for my cousin. He is a student pilot there. This semester my cousin is preparing exams in order to get his licence. He told me that this College is accredited by The Ministry of Higher Education and Transport Canada Authority. I visited with my cousin The Collège and i was very impressed. The job placing department is arranging a job for him in a major airline. Our family is very thankful. Best flight training center ever!: Class experienced flight instructors, high standard aviation school programs, airplanes, simulators all I needed to succeed my commercial pilot licence. For the size of the school, I think that Academy of Aeronautics does really well. Obviously in any flight school, there is always room for improvement but the Academy recognizes that and continues to grow. The learning environment is exceptional. There is a great team of instructors and a very strong support system between the students. The team at the office does everything they can to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable training process. The school is very flexible when it comes to finance and scheduling especially with the growing numbers of students. Overall, I think that it has its ups and downs but remains to be competitive.

Suggest people to pay as you go when you are doing this training. (Dont pay that 15k down payment) Do it by section, PPL-ratings(night ifr multi) and CPL. Instructor here are nice and they book you a lot, if you are free all day. For security reasons and recent incidents in CARGAIR, they are banning people to do solo cross country, until student are fully complying with the rules.

I have read all the comments and yes there are things to be improved but the real thing is that I can say as a freshly graduated student the academy is real and whenever you put effort you will be successful like me. I am also a chief of dispatch who has a good knowledge of the airport. I decided to enrol in the Academy of Aeronautics in Canada because I knew of the prestige and the high standards of Flight Training. On Top of That the Academy assists the Student Pilot to get his Financial Assistance and a job when graduated. The Day I was accepted it was a Great day in my life. My motivation soared and I decided to study hard and focus on the flight training. Now, 18 months later, I got my Pilot License from the Government of Canada. I made a giant celebration. I was able to get an amazing, great-paying job right out of this Program at the Academy of Aeronautics. The name of the program is PROFESSIONAL PILOT PROGRAM. Went in to get some information on getting a PPL, had the worst reception ever saying I shouldn’t have came without calling first even tho the lady was on her iPhone behind the desk. It was oblivious she was not busy and I was bothering her. Asked for payment upfront and couldn’t confirm any course times or answer basic questions as to why they were $4000 more then their Dorval competitors. Avoid at all costs. I’ll be giving my money elsewhere

I have chosen this college because i will be training in variable weather conditions so i become an experienced pilot. I have received a warm welcome when I entered the lounge of the Information Desk. The action in this Academy was exciting as student pilots with their costumes were going through to their classes. I felt a dynamic environment. I was waiting my turn and I had the chance to talk to few of the students and they told me that they feel happy and secure in their learning. Others added that they are confident: they are developing the pilot skills necessary for their career ahead. I understood that Student Pilots Girls and Boys support each other and share a common sense of purpose. I have submitted my application after visiting the Pilot School. I hope the admissions department will accept me. I want to become a Commercial Pilot and study here.

I want to thank the Academy of Aeronautics Montreal: The Staff helped me obtain financial assistance and when I had difficulties they arranged for me a payment plan. The management is very organised and attentive to the students. The instructors are best of the best: they have taught me to master techniques that are covered in high standard flying manuals. Before I enrolled in the Academy, I have contacted several aviation colleges and I compared tuition fees: The Academy of Aeronautics had the lowest tuition fees. Also, cost of living in Montreal is way lower that other countries. This City is a great place for students. The information officer that received me the first day was mentoring me during the time I was studying helping me get the information I needed. The Flight instructors and staff are incredible and world leaders in Aeronautics and have their influence in the airline industry. The education and experience is transformative. The Academy of Aeronautics asks a lot from each student Pilot, but in return the education and opportunities are limitless.

Avoid this school at all cost, this school is out to get your money does not care abt their students, will always ask u for payment in advance all the time but to fly is always an excuse.....u will have many instructors throughout ur course and will switch to alot of airports to do ur flight course...instructors may cancel classes and not notify u If you are an immigrant they love u even more, they sell u the dream of becoming a canadian citizen if u take their courses and promise to help u do all the paper work for immigration! Very bad experience from the start. Very bad contact. Very rude without salutation. Request CAD 15000 deposit without providing any services. Invent any conditions to take money away from the customer. CAUTION PEOPLE DO NOT PAY THE 15000 CAD. The flight school write and disseminate derogatory and untrue reviews about other people. I think it's a shame that there are flight schools in Canada, Ministry of Education informs and I hope there will be a reaction from Education Ministers !!! It is a shame and not a real flight school. There are many other schools that do not need the deposit at all and therefore give a much better picture from the start.

Flight Training Center offers many advantages in regards to infrastructure and students flight schedule flexibility. Here you get TC-Transport Canada Accredited Pilot licenses, Diplomas by the Ministry of Higher Education, Financial Assistance, Jobs Available, Help offered to International Students, Fast Graduation: 18 months training to become a Pilot and Start working. Tuition is lower compared to all Pilot Schools. I researched many other Pilot Schools and I have selected The Academy of Aeronautics in Canada. I made the right choice. Now i am getting the most benefit of my decision. Very high training standards, Experienced Flight instructors holding Class Licenses, Staff is very helpful, Students became my friends and they are very helpful. I feel this sense of belonging. Few months before, i wanted to be a Pilot and now i feel i am becoming an AIRLINE PILOT. There is a very high demand for Pilots and the salaries are very very high! I recommend The Academy of Aeronautics.

To date, the flight school has not repaid my 15,000 CAD for 1 month. No answer from my requests. Unfortunately, the flight school has now claimed that I violated immigration regulations and therefore confiscated my money. They take the money from a family with young children!
