It was because of my husband, I joined the driving classes and now I learnt that he was right. The classroom sessions were informative and Mr. Khaleem ensured that all the students were attentive and made me realize that driving safe is important while following the rules. That was not the end. Mr. Sid, my on road instructor, was a amazing instructor. He stressed on his principles "Drive safe and follow the rules". He was dedicated and passionate on driving safe. He always ensured me to follow the instructions and certainly now I am motivated to do so. I did clear G2 in the first attempt and I giv e the credit to my instructor for it. I highly recommend All Star Driving and Mr. Sid for driving classes.

If were not for ALEX I would not have passed the test. He had extremely clear understanding of what I needed right from the beginning. Before All Star, I took lessons from a different driving school but failed my G as well G2. But Alex was amazing, whatever he taught had logic, hence it was easy to understand and follow. I passed G2 in my first attempt after I took classes from Alex. He is a very patient and teaches nicely specially if you are nervous driver. I strongly recommend In-class & In-car driving instructor ALEX.

I had Saqib as a driving instructor, and he was a very caring and patient teacher. The lessons were well structured, touching on all the necessary items/maneuvers that you are assessed on in the G1 exit test. I passed on the first attempt. Saqib also booked/rebooked the test for me, which was extremely helpful during the cancellation of road tests throughout the pandemic. Recommended and very thankful for the services provided!

I had my lessons for my G2 road test with Muhammad Iqbal and he was patient and ensured I did everything correctly while driving. Any question I asked was answered so I understood and if I had any difficulty he would allow me to keep trying until I was comfortable doing it. I was able to book my road test and pass in less than a week from my first lesson. He was a great instructor and I would recommend him to everyone.

There is not much to take from the in class lessons but there is a noticeable effort in the way the classroom teachers try to teach. However, the on-road sessions with Saif were outstanding. Saif was calm and collected even through my mistakes on the road. He always does his very best to accommodate for his students and never fails to make sure his students understand the rules of the road. After finishing my sessions with Saif, I am 100% confident that I will pass my G2 roadtest. If you have the choice, always ask for Saif.

Shan is my instructor. I just got my G2 after only 3 lessons. He always gave me extra lesson time if he thinks I need it. And he very friendly and punctual on time. His advice is really helpful in parkings and road tests. I would recommend him every time.

I would like to strongly recommend Tariq as your in-car instructor. He is a very nice person. I failed two times with my previous instructor and lost confidence. However, he cheered me up and gave me a lot of help. He taught the rules in detail and always pointed out the mistakes or deficiencies when I was driving. He also did his best to match my schedule. ***IN CLASS: Kalim/IN CAR: Tariq*** My in class instructor was Kalim and even though the material can be dry, it didn't stop him from changing the class atmosphere. He was very good at making each lesson interesting by sharing personal driving stories and how it relates to the class lesson. He also is very humorous so you'll get a good laugh or two. My G2 in car instructor was Tariq and he was good at time managing and making sure I learn everything that I needed to know within the 10 hours. For example, when it was time to learn parallel parking, after walking me through it the first time, by the second time when I attempted it myself - i nailed the parallel park perfectly. Tariq is also patient and provides a clear explanation, all the while teaching you how to drive safely. In addition, he tries his best to cater to your availability and is flexible. I would recommend him. For those wondering, I passed my G2 on the first try!

Yesterday I passed my G1 in my first attempt with the help of Shakil. He is a great instructor. My test was on 09/02/20 and I barely knew how to drive a week before. My Instructor was Saqib. I came in with a real fear of driving due to anxiety issues and while working with Saqib, I was able to overcome my fears and gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to excel in obtaining my G2. He is always on time and extremely professional. He has a way of breaking down the necessary steps and components of each movement required to complete a skill that makes sense. I'm sure it wasn't easy to teach someone with my level of anxiety but he always was positive and boosted my confidence. Im now motivated to drive on my own. When learning to drive you need an instructor who is patient, kind and great at communication and that is Saqib!

I got my G2 today! Muhammad was a good instructor and helped me get my G2. The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I had a very bad experience with another instructor, Shan in November/December. Muhammad was out of town at the time so I got switched to Shan for a bit. While I was in the car with him, he got mad at me for pressing the gas pedal while I was on the road and made me stop in the middle of the road while other drivers at the back were honking at me for stopping. He then started yelling at me calling me a reckless driver even though I was only going 38 on a school zone where the speed limit was 40. If he was going to yell at me, he should have made me pull over first instead of making me stop in the middle of the road. Not only did he have a bad attitude towards me, he was also 40 min late to my lesson and did not apologize. Afterwards, I told the school I wanted to switch back to Muhammad and when he found out, he was screaming at me on the phone and tried guilt tripping me into staying with him. Luckily, my social worker was beside me and had to stand up for me and tell him that his behaviour was not appropriate. Eventually, I got switched back to Muhammad and got my G2 shortly after that. I recommend you request Muhammad as he is patient, understanding, and helpful whereas Shan was straight up rude and unprofessional. After you get your G2, this school encourages you to write a good review for them and pick the 5 star option. If you are still reading this, I hope this review was helpful and this was my unbiased and truthful review of All Star Driving School. (I do not give 5 star reviews for free as I give reviews based on my true experience of something).

Tariq, my driving instructor was very informative and has thoroughly taught me good procedures and tips to help me drive and pass my G2 driving test. He has been my driving instructor for only 5 of the 10 lessons but has taught me so well that I only really needed 3 lessons. Overall he also has good character and is easy to talk to. He is also very straight forward and will tell you if you are doing something wrong right away so he can help you. It was a wonderful experience and I am glad to have chosen this school alongside having a great instructor.

I was not pleased at all ,yes due to the good price they offered I was 16, part time paying my own money for the driving hours and schooling. My instructor was not cooperating at all, constant cancellations and excuses for it to be pushed to the point where I was getting classes rarely and unexpectedly. My instructor Khan left half way through my driving lessons and when I kept calling and texting he would not answer and finally texted me days later to tell me he left All star and that he isn’t going to help me going on forward, I also never got highway experience that was included in my time slots and days. I later on had to wait to get a new instructor he than only gave me one hour and than booked my g2 because supposedly my hours we’re all done and suggested I should pay for more hours! Are you kidding me!!! I was not ready at all. So I had to pay for another instructor that was a family’s friend hourly so he can teach me a month in advance how to drive!. I passed with a slim chance. No help at all from all star. Don’t waste your time and money.

Had a great experience with this school, especially with my in car driving instructor, Hadi. Hadi was a great instructor, he took the time to teach and was patient with me when I made mistakes. Hadi made the experience amazing and his life lessons were great as well! On the day of the test, Hadi covered the basics before taking me to the test centre and I passed my G2 test. I would recommend this school and Hadi!

My instructor was Tariq. I came to him as a nervous driver. I had bad experiences with previous instructors, and lacked confidence. Tariq was extremely friendly, encouraging and professional. I had 1 month before my G1 expired, and Tariq was extremely dedicated to making sure I was ready to take my G2. He worked extra days to help me become more confident behind the wheel. I passed and now have my G2. If you are in need of an understanding, and knowledgeable driving instructor, I HIGHLY recommend him. I’ll be contacting him again when it’s time to go for my G.

I definitely recommend registering to the All Star Driving school for those who have no experience in driving. I had the second package and done the 20hrs in class and the 10 hrs of in-car training. Hafiz, my instructor, was thorough in his teaching. Prior to registering to this school, I had no experience in driving. After finishing my 10 hours, and also practicing with my father, I gained the confidence to drive. Yesterday, I'd taken my G2 test and had driven the car I practiced with Hafiz. Hafiz and I practiced on our way to the road test destination. I made a handful of mistakes, such as incorrect parallel parking. However, making these mistakes helped me be mindful during my road test. Although we waited an extra hour in the car to take my g2 test, I passed! I'd suggest for those who book their test to practice as designate one or two lessons closer to the road test. I hadn't practiced with Hafiz for a month, and so I made those mistakes as we were on our way to the road test destination. Thank you again Hafiz for your help and encouragement.

I just had my G2 test and I couldn’t be more happier. At the end of the test the examinator asked me if I drove in the past and I turned and said no, but I had the best instructor Asif Siddiqi ???? She said I drove like a Pro ???? Sidd, is a very punctual, respectful and nice instructor. I went from being so scared to be behind the wheel to feel so confident. He helped me build my confidence. I didn’t know how to manage this but just his patience and really caring for me to learn really helped me through this process. My driving instructor named Hafiz was so patient with me as a nervous driver! When I started lessons I was 8 months pregnant and my G1 license that was scheduled to expire and he made sure that I got it in time! He covers all bases of what you should know and really strengthens your confidence so that you feel ready. Even if you work or go to school he’ll find a way around it

Honestly one of the worst driving schools in the GTA. Countless games with the instructors and favoritism amongst their nationality (Indian/South Asian). After being tired and fed up with their nonsense, I requested for a refund and got no response for almost a month. Finally after threatening to take them to court, they finally gave me my money back. If you want to learn how to drive, you rather go somewhere else I suggest.

Kalim is an awesome in-class instructor and overall guy. He has such a light-hearted and caring personality that made the in-class lessons a lot more fun! He really seems that he wants to be there for his students and cares for them letting them know that he can be a resource for them anytime. Although I have never looked forward to driving and always thought it wasn't for me, the in-car lessons with Hadi were fantastic. I started from not knowing how to drive AT ALL to getting my G2 on my first try within a month and a half. From the beginning, Hadi's patience and his constructive criticism made me into a "driver" and no longer a "learner" halfway through my lessons. I had so many questions throughout my lessons and Hadi explained them crystal clear. A couple weeks have passed since my G2 test and I am proud to say that I am a confident and safe driver all thanks to Kalim and Hadi, a truly amazing instructor and again, an overall awesome guy. All Star is probably the best driving school out there! The rates are amazing and the instructors go above and beyond with you! I had SIDD as my instructor and he was the best teacher! My license was expiring 4 weeks to when I signed up and he did all he could to get me ready for my test and set up the earliest possible test for me. He was patient and helped me to understand what I was doing wrong and why and coached me through it. He was always calm and tested your knowledge which reminded you to keep alert and pay attention to other drivers and road signs. One of the best instructors I ever came across. My previous instructor shattered all the confidence I possessed despite having more than 5 years of driving experience from my home country. It was so easy to learn with Sid, he was comforting and his way of articulating was impeccable. Sid has a pattern, he observes you very closely in the first class and by the end of it, he will give you a checklist for areas of improvement. He then works on your weaknesses during the subsequent classes. He often quotes: "You know already know how to drive, my duty is to make you familiar with all the rules and how to efficiently react during states of confusion". If he says you are ready for the test, he means it. All star instructor I would recommend in a heartbeat.

My driving instructor was Hafiz, and with me being a nervous beginner driver he was very understanding and helped me pass my G2 test on the first attempt! Hafiz made sure I knew what to do and when to do it, and corrected me whenever I was confused. Firm, but fair. Hi, I had a very good learning experience in all star. I took the 4 saturday in -class sessions with Mr. Kalim Raja before starting with on-road lessons and found it very helpful in being prepared to what to expect on road. Kalim is very knowledgeable and explains the concepts with real life example and that makes it very helpful. No matter what question you throw at him, he will always have the right answers to that. I also feel the course is well designed to cover every aspect related to sharpen your driving skills. I had Amin as my instructor for on-road lessons and my experience with him was also very good.I took 15 classes before I gave my G2 that I cleared in my first attempt. Amin helped me identify all the weak points to work on and managed the time well in giving good practice to be prepared for the exam. He also encourages to drive without fear and pressure which is very helpful for a beginner. I would strongly recommend going to this driving school as they are very professional and still reasonable on fees. Thanks.

The in-class driving school experience was amazing because I learnt so many new facts about Ontario's road rules even after I passed my G1. I took the class to be prepared for the G2 experience and this really helped me. My driving instructor for the road test lessons was Saqib. I passed my G2 at the first attempt thanks to Saqib's mentoring. His teaching goes beyond learning to drive and getting a licence but he actually cares about his students by making sure we apply the safe driving habits we've learnt both from the in-class and road lessons. Just an update after a few months of driving with my car instructor Saif! I passed my G license in one try!!! Im sooo happy about it and all thanks to my very reliable and knowledgable instructor! He really knows what he is doing in preparing a student to the driving test! He is also very patient and like they all say patience is a virtue and he does gives you a lot of confidence in driving which is definitely important not just on the day of my test but as well as when I am driving. I WOULDNT THINK I WOULD PASS WITHOUT SAIF! AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH! Our in class teacher (Mr.Atta) was very good at explaining everything to us especially when it comes to insurance and laws as well as rules in driving which helped me to be prepared before I did my practical driving on the road. My driving instructor (Mr.Saif) has been very patient and specific when it comes to driving. He taught me how to drive correctly and safely. He also make sure I'm confident while driving which helps a lot especially when you are a new driver.

I recently just used All Star Driving School for in car lessons. I had Tariq as the instructor and he helped me passed my G license. Even having just 2 lessons with him, he taught me everything I needed to know to pass. He's such a pleasant and a kind instructor. Very down to earth. He definitely boasted my confidence level before taking the driving exam by advising me to just do my best. And I believe that you need someone like that because let's all face it, it's nerve wrecking trying to pass. It's very important that someone doesn't just teach, but Tariq actually cared. Having read the reviews here, I requested Lovely as my driving instructor. I am not sure if it was because I lived in Mississauga and she was willing to travel from Brampton, but I had a very bad experience with Lovely (despite the great reviews). As students, we were always advised to keep in mind the busy schedule of the instructors and to never cancel 24hrs prior to our lesson or we would lose that hour that we paid for. But she did not follow these same rules when it came to my lessons. She would cancel last minute or arrive too early. Most of my lessons she taught me small things and spent a lot of time answering phone calls and speaking to clients or family. I was very upset. I went to another instructor who instantly saw that I didn't even know what a blind spot was! Though I am only one of the bad reviews, be very cautious of choosing Lovely as your instructor. As for the classes, it was good and informative. Though it can be a tight classroom, it wasn't bad!

The BDE course and my driving instructor, Sidd were excellent. Don't let thier low prices deceive you, they offer excellent services at a good value. August 17th Update: Today I passed my G2 exam! My driving instructor, Hafiz gave me so much confidence! It was a rainy and humid day. Hafiz reviewed the possible routes. Before the exam we spent an hour parking, doing 3 point tuns, emergency parking, and parallel parking. This was exactly needed for my test today. We focused on parallel parking and reverse parking, until I was able to park in very busy lots. I’m now so happy and I know that HAFIZ is the reason why I did so well. I’m so fortunate I was assigned him as my instructor. Even though I have my G2 now I’m hoping to get a few private lessons if he is available, just to learn more advanced skills. The money I spent was worth every penny. I started out as a older, anxious and nervous driver... and became confident. Next week I m going out to test drive cars! February 2018: My driving instructor, Hafiz, is absolutely the best instructor! I got lucky when All Star assigned him to be my instructor, but you can also ask for him. I never drove a car before and I am almost 50 yrs old. I was so nervous but Hafiz made me very confident. Within just 3 lessons I went on the highway without being afraid. Hafiz is patient, calm and gives you step-by-step instructions. I can do reverse parking easily, and he has great tricks for 3-point turns and parallel parking. Now I can park extremely well. I drove in the icy streets without being nervous, even with the snow. There is so much to learn but he explains things well. I cannot wait to take my G2 test because I know I will pass it. Today was my 2nd last lesson, so we did a big review. It went so well. My last lesson will be before the test, so I know I will pass. ASK FOR HAFIZ! Would not recommend All Star Driving. I inquired for lessons and they put me in touch with one of their instructors. The entire interaction didn't feel right. The instructor would not take payment via cheque or any other means and would only take cash. They would not let me pay per lesson and wanted half the cost of all the lessons which I wanted to take before the first lesson even started. They also would not provide an invoice/receipt before payment for the lessons stating the price or the amount of taxes which would be paid. When I disputed these concerns the instructor threatened me with a cancellation fee.

I got my g2 licence in the first attempt. Shaan will take all the efforts needed to make you a safe and defensive driver. He generally believes in positive reinforcement and has a positive approach to teaching you to drive. I was a beginner and he was very patient with me. At the same time, my husband who was also giving his G2 examination was quite ready and Shaan told him very clearly that he did not need too many lessons. He will not make you take lessons just so he can make money. His car is good and that plays a very important part in liking driving if you are a new driver.

Sidd is the best instructor. I passed my g2 test today because Sidd taught me what to do from the start. He knows a lot about what he does. He tells you what your mistakes are and tells you how to improve on it. I felt confident after the first 2 lessons. Had 9 hours in class with Sidd and it was all good, he teaches you in a way that it isn't boring. I recommend Sidd as an instructor because he is good and knows what he is doing. If Sidd is your man, you will pass the test.

I am a new immigrant from a developed country with right hand drive. I am an experienced driver and have been driving since I was 16. I have even driven in US briefly with no problem. Saqib was a phenomenal driving instructor. Prior to All Star Driving, I took driving lessons from Young Drivers of Canada and found that their scheduling was terrible. They don’t allow you to book lessons in advance. The worst part was that their instructors were so busy that you can only book your lessons 1x per month; thus, I failed my first road test. When I discovered All Star Driving School, my negative perceptions about driving totally changed. The scheduling was very smooth and they even advised me to book the lessons closer to the day of the road test. Today, I passed my second road test with only 1 mistake (not hitting the curb in uphill parking). So to All Star Driving School and Saqib, you have my utmost respect and gratitude. Amin is an excellent instructor - HIGHLY recommend. Very encouraging, friendly, stays calm, and really makes you feel comfortable whether you're a new driver or you're going for your G. I've had other instructors who have braked for me, yelled and talked down to their students. Amin is not like that at all. Went to the school in Mississauga, great school, Kaleem was the in class teacher and it was nothing but fun, the secretary is great, I can't thank them enough for being able to pass my in class lessons. I have had multiple issues with my driving instructor, Irfan. I have only completed 6 classes. He never responds to texts or calls and if you're lucky, he'll let you know when he's free for an appointment only on the same day. When driving, he never teaches. He is always talking on the phone, eating, and he has very little patience. Constant profanity and it just doesn't seem that he cares. Even though the in class lessons on the weekend were useful and interesting, I had to give this a 1 because I feel like I have wasted my money on such a ridiculous instructor.

As a new immigrant to Canada with years of previous driving experience, I wanted to fine tune my driving skills to get on the Canadian roads. He was a good teacher.After my in class I took my in car lesson with Saquib but I wasn’t comportable with him because everytime he picked me up for my lesson he had another student with him we need to dropped off the student before teaching me then before dropping me home he would pick again another student after taking 2 lessons from him( Saquib is a good instructor though) I change my Instructor,I got LOVELY. I happened to take a couple of classes from another instructor earlier, but it was unsatisfactory. In the coming days, he made me practices to correct all those mistakes. He gave me reasoning behind rules and even tips to remember those rules, most of all he is trust worthy, reliable and punctual. Another good thing about him is that he made me feel relaxed and comfortable (wasn't harsh) he understood as an immigrant it can daunting task to take up roads in a new country, that helped me ease and learn faster. You're probably considering this school because its "cheap", well let me confirm that you will get what you pay for! I signed up for the Option 1 course (20 hours in-class and 10 hours driving) in April. It is now October and I'm still waiting to finish my 10 hours of in-car driving - life happens so a delay can happen right? Well, let me tell you that as a person who signed up for this class mainly to regain confidence in driving, here are the reasons I wouldn't recommend All Star Driving School to anyone - friend or foe: #1) In-class school did not meet MTO required education. We had 2 instructors and the first did not follow any course outlined, did not teach us the required basics. Instead he used the time share his views on the upcoming legalization of weed, how drunk driving will ruin your ability to ever get a well paying job (drunk driving is bad but this is clearly false and shouldn't be taught to new immigrants and teenagers) and some other drivel that had nothing to do with driving in Ontario. The second instructor was excellent and who I latter found out was the regular instructor. He had to teach us everything in 2 days that we should have been taught in 4 days. #2) You will have a difficult time booking your in-car instruction. There is no school controlled, centralized scheduling and you are left to the mercy of your instructor. And if you attempt to get a new instructor .... good luck! #3) Your driving instructor will cut your in-car time short. Part of your in-car time will be spent driving to pick-up the next student (totally fine) who upon pick-up takes over .. yet you still had 15 minutes or so left of your 1 hour class. I had about 3 of my "1 hour classes" cut to 45 minutes, and one class cut by 30 minutes! #4) Overall the quality of instruction is in-class and in-car is poor. Basic driving rules and instruction was not provided. In our in-class instruction due to the first instructors not following the manual, our second instructor assumed we would knew certain basic information and had to re-teach all of the basics. On my first my in-car instruction the instructor never gave me a full "walk around" of the car, thus when I did not know where the signal was he was angry at me. #5) I personally had a terrible experience with my driving instructor (whose I see is listed by others as a good one). Communication around scheduling my in-car classes was terrible - I was up front about my scheduling limitation (I work full-time) and indicated I was flexible on weekends and would take whatever time he had open. He never took advantage of this and instead we'd try to schedule the class the week before. This sort of worked for a while as I decided to keep myself free all weekend long for a few weeks, as I wanted to finish! At first the in-car instruction was good, I did feel he was a good instructor and his parking instruction was excellent. I felt I was learning and became more confident in my driving. However, he did have a tendency be condescending and to treat me like a teenage driver (which I'm not) ,but I could deal with it for 10 hours. However, after a while he became aggressive during our in-class instruction and would even yell at me if I made a minor mistake. With 2 classes left I decided to just deal with him but, after he didn't show up at the time we had agreed upon and didn't respond to my texts, I decided enough was enough and to ask for a new instructor. As I'm still waiting to get my second instructor I can't tell you if they are any better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If you have been recommend to this school by a friend for a specific instruction, you might be alright. If you are coming here from google - DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR MONEY!

With the help of All Star Driving School and my awesome instructor Sidd I passed my G2 driving test. Sidd is a very informative instructor and has his own way of correcting faults, but gives praises when you do good. He's very patient, connects with the students and boost your morale when you're in doubt with your driving skills. This company is A+. I was able to book a road test for my son in no time, however the catch was that it would be 2 hours from home. Road star driving school in Barrie was eager to help and offered a lesson before his test to familiarize him with the area and we were also able to use their vehicle all for a super reasonable price. My son said the instructor “Hasiz” was very calm, thorough and motivated him before testing. My son would not have been so confident without his help, we are both so great ful for the effort this company puts forth, they care about their clients and reputation I highly recommend and can’t thank Hasiz enough for being our saving grace on such short notice! I was trained by Farooq for my G license test. I could directly give the G license test from G1 as I had previous driving experience in my home country. However, I am new to Canadian road rules and left hand driving. I took 5 classes with Farooq, who is excellent judge of driving skills, knows the road rules really well and is quite honest with his feedback. I could pass the G license test in the first attempt because of his training. (Many say that examiners are more critical in their evaluation when someone goes for a G test directly from G1). I would just like to share my experience while learning to drive with All Star instructor Siraj. He came with a clean car and ready to teach. From the very beginning he explained what his methods were and asked if I was okay with his driving method or style, he also gave me the opportunity to bring my own driving method as he was open to it. The main point was to help me learn in a efficient way. I was a bit worried that it would have been a bad transition for me because I do not take instructions well but his behavior was very pleasant even when I got upset, he remained calm and professional. He coached me well, never a bad day during his service. He was patient, kind and willing to go over and beyond: he treated me as if I was his family member. I do commend him on his teaching style, if you’re in need of confidence, Siraj Is the instructor for you. I only met with him for 14 classes (as a beginner driver of course) and on 6th December I PASSED my G2. So, a huge thank you to Mr. Siraj for building my confidence and driving skills.

Wonderful experience! I did 20 hours of inclass and 10 hours on road lessons and feel the knowledge is truly beneficial for every driver. He gave me a lot of helpful tips on how to pass my G2 and explained things in a way that made it much easier to do reverse parking, parallel parking etc. things I thought I would never understand how to do and was very patient and kind throughout. I am a new driver in Canada and took up lessons with Mr. Vinay Bhatia for my G2 licence. Vinay has been very patient and accommodating with me. He understood my strength's and weakness's and worked around them. He logically explained reasons for doing certain things while driving so that it becomes easier to understand and remember. He is punctual and professional and kept entertaining me with stories, facts and data on any topic. So the lessons do not feel mundane. I took additional hours with Vinay to practice free-way driving. It amazes me how he sat so calm when I was freaking out while driving at speeds of 100km plus in peak traffic. Thats when I realised the risk that driving instructors put themselves through for us!! I am happy that I passed my G2 at the first shot and I am thankful to Vinay for it.

I did the in-class back in December and it was quite interesting. The reason why I'm giving 2 stars, when it really deserves 1, is because of Lovely and the in-class portion. My first instructor was Amer. I felt rushed with him and he was very rude with me, he'd give me attitude, and yell if I did not "abide with his rules". Honestly, because of him, I was very afraid to drive but somehow managed to complete 4 lessons with him. My other 6 were with Lovely. She was very laidback, chill, helpful, and made me more comfortable with driving. However, towards the last few lessons, she would just let me drive around for an hour, did not test me on parking, 3 pt turns, etc. I also felt rushed with her since she wanted me to do the driving test for my G2 right away, which I ended up failing. I had to go to another driving school for new lessons and they were much better than All-Star.

I got my G2 recently and my experience has been a good one. The in-class can be boring and the 10 hours in-car is aimed at the exam (So, try to get some practice on your own). Lovely D was my in-car instructor and she was cheerful with her sense of humor and outspoken with my faults. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I feel like I really needed to for this. I finished an entire BDE course with All Star. The in-class instructor was great. I learned about things that I hadn't known before. The customer service was good too. I requested a refund from Package 2 to Package 1, and they gave me back the money (although not entirely, but most of it). However, the in-car instructor I had was not great. I chose Hafiz as my in-car instructor because of the numerous 5-star reviews here about him. I have little to no experience driving, and I did not grow up in Canada. So I never really understood all the various types of markings on the road, and especially intersections. I was not a naturally confident driver either. After those 10 hours of lessons, I honestly did not learn as much as I should. From the very first lesson, Hafiz was always yelling and pressuring me to go when I was still a hesitant driver and couldn't use the blinkers properly. Because of his good reviews, I thought that if I tried harder, it would get better in time. But, that was not the case. He always took me on the same roads all the time and did not expose me to different traffic situations. He steps on the brakes a lot. Sometimes, he would be on a phone call for extended periods of time. He ended lessons early many times. He spends a lot of time writing down long steps on a piece of paper that I do not recall anymore (because they were too long) instead of actually making me do them. And, I did not find the way he gives directions good at all. He always told me to do things like "MSB left/right" which in my opinion is a terrible way of teaching a complete novice like me how to navigate roads. The examiner in the test will only give general directions like "Turn left at the next...' and one would have to figure out how to do so (i.e. changing lanes, driving into the island, etc.) That's not to say I didn't learn anything. He did teach me the maneuvers well. And, I think he's an overall nice guy and didn't make a fuss about the final driving test of the BDE course (which I heard some driving instructors do), which is why I gave 2-stars instead of 1. But, parking isn't everything on the test. I struggled more with roads, intersections, and turns, and it didn't help that I did not have a personal vehicle to practice more with. Those 10 hours just did not meet my expectations. I came in with 0/10 confidence and came out with 3/10 confidence. Hafiz was not patient with me (probably because I learned slower and started a lot less than most of his students). I came in excited to finally learn to drive, and came out not liking it. It was not a good experience overall. I ended up taking the road test with another instructor from a different driving school, who gave me so much confidence from the very first lesson I had with him. I got my G2 at the first attempt without practicing with parents or anyone else, so I don't think I'm bad. Hafiz just couldn't break that confidence barrier. I think 2-stars is a very fair rating to give.

Probably the best driving schools in Mississauga. I cleared G at my first attempt which happened mainly since I trained with Mr.Shan who is very good on training for road test. His constant interest in pointing at your weakness and mistakes are very important to clear the test. On the day of road test he even gave me some tips on what I can expect from the inspector. Warning long review. Short version at the bottom (Long) My lessons in Car and in Class were great. The in class lessons were helpful and wasn't boring. I chose All Star as my first driving school and expected to study the rules and listen to lectures like any school and be serious. What I got was a teacher named Mr. Kalim(sorry if spelt wrong) and he was full of energy and happy to teach class and made it less boring and lessons just flew by. My in Car instructor named Sidd was all so full of energy and taught you how to drive properly. I picked him from the Google reviews because to me it seemed like he would help you get things done so I hoped for the best and stared with him. My first my impression was that he was a strict person but knew what he was doing and I would have a higher chance to pass the G2 test if I learned from him so I stuck to him. As the more lessons I took from him the more comfortable I was with him he was not as strict and mean like I imagined. He was nice and answered all the things I was worried about when driving. He even answered all the dumb questions and totally unrelated questions I had that was not about my driving during lessons. He could have not answered them just told me to keep focused on the road but he didn't. I am very happy to get a professional opinion about all the questions I had about driving unrelated to my lessons. My drive test for G2 was Etobicoke and thanks to Sidd's lessons and special lesson I PASSED and got my G2! Sidd even put the handbrake down so I would not drive with the handbrake up when my test started. Usually people would forget to put it down because they're nervous so he told me and put it down so in case I would forget. My test made me nervous but thanks to Sidd's lessons it was cut in half and did not sweat as much. I still made mistakes but trusted in what I learned and did not have a panic attack like I would when I made mistakes during Sidd's lessons. I will say I did get lucky a bit and had a nice clam test examiner named RYAN and passed but I will also say It was all thanks to Sidd's lessons. He wants you to pass and you will have a greater chances to pass if you take lessons from him. Sidd is that kind of guy who will go that extra mile so you will have higher chance to pass. I will definitely pick him again to teach me when I go for my G if he still teaching by then. (Short) I took G2 test at Etobicoke and passed thanks to Sidd's lessons. Sidd teaches great. I Got lucky and did my G2 test with a examiner named RYAN so hope that he chooses you. 11/10 would not have made it without him and I would pick Sidd again for my G lessons. Thanks for Reading!

Both the in class and the on road lessons were very good. My in class instructor was Asad. He taught very well, gave 3 total breaks (Two 5 min breaks, one 30 min lunch break) so we do not get bored. Although the content is very generic, I did not expect much better. At least he did show a lot of videos and did not throw powerpoint after powerpoint. He is a good teacher he knows what he is talking about and I did pick up some useful tips that I am applying on the road. His test is also very easy, even if you are not paying attention.I aced it with 48/50 (all multiple choice). My on road instructor was Sidd. Very good instructor. Although he is busy and hard to book appointment, it is worth the wait. I recommend that you request Sidd as your instructor. My first driving experience went well with him, and I think it is just the confidence he instilled in my driving. First sessions he guided a lot and i was not doing everything properly, but by the end, he did not have to say anything to me as I was doing well. He taught the 3 point turn, parallel parking, reverse parking, etc. I feel great for my G2 test and he said I am ready. I'm grateful for having such good instructors. All Star Driving is a really good school overall.

You get what you pay for. The prices for the packages are relatively affordable in comparison to most places. The in-class instructors do not teach anything that will help you in the long run and the in-car instructors are very hit-or-miss. Some of them are timely and professional while others will have unpredictable availability and lack of communication. In my opinion the amount of time spent driving is not consistent enough to prepare you for the G2/G test, (especially if you don't have your own means to practice) as the lessons are very spaced out and can take several months in some cases to complete. My instructors weren't bad but I know a few people who have had several issues with theirs. Overall take advantage of the pricing and if you have trouble with your instructor, request a new one.

I finished my driving lessons with Sid recently and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you DO NOT take your in-car lessons with him. I read the reviews for this school and requested Sid, as many people said he was great. On my first lesson, he showed up on time, but then proceeded to smoke for 10 minutes into my lesson time and ask me irrelevant questions about my driving habits. I was required to drive someone home, which I honestly didn't mind, but I had to parallel park on a busy street to let the girl out of the car, and I had NO IDEA how to do it (which Sid was aware of before). He was more interested in getting in all the lessons he could, than my skills and safety. After dropping the girl off, he was on his phone for 90% of the remaining time, which is totally unsafe as it was my first lesson and I had already made some mistakes. (However, when I asked him questions, he did answer them with good responses and even prompted me on what I thought.) On another occasion, he ended my class 20 minutes early and claimed he "had another student". He also made me stop at gas stations and other locations for him to run errands and go to the washroom. In my experience, he took FOREVER to arrange lessons and I would go weeks without hearing from him. Sid also took calls and texted during the time I was driving, and I can honestly say that I am not a perfect driver. Even if I was, his eyes should still be on the road, as anything can happen, especially with a new driver, who is unfamiliar with many circumstances. I can certainly say that I did NOT feel safe while driving with Sid and would STRONGLY advise to not ask for him, and that if you are assigned to him, switch your instructor! (One thing that I must add however, is that my in-class lessons were very good and my teacher was very nice and informative)

He always motivated me and made driving simply fun (I was really scared in the beginning!!!!) But this guy just turned around the game for me. He was always encouraging throughout. Choosing ALL Star and having Sidd as my instructor was the best decision I ever did. He is truly a very good teacher. I was so wary to choose just any driving school because I hear a lot of stories where the instructor yells at you and are very impatient. But Sidd is something else. He loves what he does and it reflects on how he teaches his students. My driving experience with him was FUN. He is patient, funny and very knowledgeable. I waited 5 yrs to get my G2 because I was very afraid. But Sidd helped me gain my confidence in driving. Confidence is key in being a good driver. After passing my G2 I still can't believe I am driving now. It was truly fun and pleasant experience

I had Lovely as my driving instructor and she is absolutely the best driving instructor you could ask for. She always shows up on time for lessons and is quick to respond if you need any accommodations. I took lessons with her before my G2 and G test and got them both on the first try! She is super caring and comforting and would never let you go for a test feeling unprepared. Each lesson was always a fun time, she likes to joke around a lot which is super nice when you're feeling nervous, but you can tell she knows what she is doing. She also teaches you some good tricks so that you nail your parking every time. Overall, consider yourself lucky if you have Lovely as your instructor!

To be honest, this review is for the instructor Sidd. I specifically requested to have him as my instructor because I had read all these great reviews about him. Please don't listen to them!!!! From the very first lesson, I knew it was a bad idea to continue but I did; until I had to cancel further lessons as well as my test with him. He arrived late and took a smoke outside while I'm supposed to be already driving. But during his smoke he was asking me questions about driving to kill time and to distract me from not noticing he's wasting my time. He plans his drivers back to back to make more money. He'll pick you up with already someone in the back and make you drive them home. You are rarely alone during your driving lesson with Sidd. During our lessons, he spent most of the time looking down at his phone. During your lesson, the instructor should keep his eyes on the road and examine how you're driving to better teach you. The worst part was when I had to get into the back of the car 10 minutes before my lesson should end, only to let a new person start driving. I asked him if I could at least drive myself home as it's technically my lesson and he said no so the other young driver drove me home. Absolute horrible experience!! Top it off, he dropped me off across the street instead of in front of my house because it was too challenging for the other driver, who shouldn't be driving me in the first place! If you take a lesson with an instructor, see whether they're doing their job or not. If you feel like you're being gypped, you probably are and should drop lessons with that instructor and get someone else. Especially if you're a teen, don't be intimidated and do not fall for these tricks! You are entitled to the full hour you are paying for and no one should kick you out before your hour ends. His back to back lessons scheme lost quite a few customers. Because of him, I didn't bother with All Star again.

I was extremely nervous about driving on main roads at first, but he really helped with building up my confidence and training me! I called Allstar Driving School and within 20 minutes I received a call from my driving instructor Sidd. He arranged for my first lesson right away! I gave him my schedule and he worked around it perfectly. I lacked confidence on the road and parking wasn't my thing. Sidd helped me to build and maintain my confidence, not to mention I parked like a pro on my first try! All I did was follow his instructions and kept his tips in mind at all times. All Star and Shan, in particular, made this possible Shan not only works with you on the techniques and skill but also your mindset. I e-mailed All Star Driving School (Mississauga) roughly 2 weeks prior to my road test, requesting a personalized package for driving lessons. Tariq got back to me and was very accommodating despite the short notice. I have foreign driving experience and therefore felt that only 5 lessons were necessary to prepare for the G road test. Though I do have years of driving experience, I have never been very good at reverse and parallel parking. After learning Tariq's techniques, however, I felt much more comfortable going into the road test. Tariq is patient, reassuring and very knowledgeable on how to prepare you for your road test. He encourages you to ask questions and will explain things repeatedly if necessary. Thanks to his thorough teaching methods, I was able to pass on my first attempt (in the rain) in an area I had never driven before (Oakville). Tariq is an excellent driving instructor and I highly recommend him for new and experienced drivers alike.

Given my schedule, I hoped that my instructor would schedule me promptly so I could get plently of lessons but I had to wait more than a week just to start lessons. Great school, Kalim was the inclass instructor. Although it was repetitive he kept the atmosphere fun mainly involving water and people sleeping. I had Hadi for the in-car who was a great instructor, took things slowly and did not overwhelm you with 1000 instructions at a time like a lot of people do. Took me straight to the main road on my first day which at first thought was kind of scary but then realized that if we started with residential zones I would probably never have built the confidence. Excellent instructors in-class and in-car, Very knowledgeable instructors, takes time to answer the students questions and confusions, never rush to finish the course, always have enough real time examples for better understanding. Tariq was my in-car instructor, he is always prepared and with plan for his students, how and when to teach the driving skills, instead of looking at hours and complete the classes, he focused on which section of driving needs be improved. On time pickup and drops at students location of interest, I've cleared the G2 test in single attempt, which I never thought I will make it. Thanks to Tariq. He has been very helpful in guiding me along and focusing on my weaknesses during our lessons. The BDE course was really interesting and engaging. It was actually a very fun way to learn the rules of the road. I really enjoyed the defensive driving portion of the course. There were many real life experiences that were shared by the in-class instructor that opened my eyes to dangers on the road. Sidd was a very good in-car instructor. He provided me with lots of tips and tricks for some of the driving skills I was worried about (parallel parking, backing into a spot etc). After taking lessons with Sidd, I can definitely say that my driving skills improved and I feel much more confident about going for my G1 exit test. I believe that All Star Driving School is the best choice when learning how to drive.

The driving instructor I got was Sidd. You're at the wheel for 99% of your lesson and he guides you calmly and positively. I've improved immensely from the start of our first lesson and shocked how I can commute safely with other drivers with only 10 hours worth of driving. It is evident that All Star hired the best possible teachers and what they teach you will be with you for the rest of your life and you'll be thankful for them teaching how to drive safely.

They are being very sneaky deleting my earlier complaint. I am 6ft tall and they basically declined giving me the in-car lessons despite the fact that I already completed the 20 hour learning course and homework over the past few months. I thought that this was a really bizarre reason, as I have friends that are 6'3 that have taken driving lessons and road tests in similar sized cars and have had no issues. They didn't even make an attempt to accommodate me and suggested to go to another driving school and told me that taller people do not take driving lessons which is obviously a lie. I posted my review a few days ago, and I had the secretary call me frantically the day after pretty much asking me why I left a bad review and that she's worried it would effect her job. I told her my review has nothing to do with her. I've asked other driving schools about this problem and they too think the reasoning given by this driving school is BS. Based on some of the reviews here, it is obvious that they tell students to give fake 5 star reviews if they pass their G2 test, so I would take the reviews here with a grain of salt. Based on some other reviews, I'm not sure if my treatment had an element of prejudice because the excuse they gave and the vibe I got was off. I received a refund, but avoid this school or take it at your own risk

My instructor Hadi was a very relaxed and humorous instructor who made the hours pass by like a breeze, making sure I was getting the driving education I needed at the same time. Momentum himself made everything easy to understand and follow, with easy communication. Imtiaz Ahmed was my instructor, he is great teacher with lots of knowledge about driving tip. When asked a question he answer politely. He is patient and gives good advice. Would definitely recommend him.

Yeah! I just got my g2 driving licence yesterday in one attempt . It’s a very big achievement for me being a first time driver with zero driving experience before and all this credit goes to mr. Shan, who was my driving mentor . He is such a kind and calm person whose encouraging words makes one believe that nothing is impossible if you work hard for it . He gives such great driving tips which helps just not to pass the test but also in the long run. I highly recommend mr. I just passed my G2 road test yesterday on my first try in Brampton, and I honestly don't think I could have passed the first time around without my instructor Alex. He made me a much more confident driver and a better as well as a more cautious driver, I can now parallel park like a pro and before I honestly kind of sucked at it. All the skills I learned from Alex in car driver training, never missed any appointment. He was so regular. I will continue to use in my everyday driving to keep myself and others safe on the road. My experience at All Star Driving School was not only easy, but also enjoyable. The in class lessons were extremely informative and engaging. The instructor made sure that the class wasn't boring, but instead helped teach us the rules of the road by making it fun while also expressing the importance of safety. I was extremely nervous about my in-car lessons, but I was very lucky and was given Hadi as my teacher. He was extremely calm and helpful. He helped me feel confident behind the wheel, and made sure I perfected my driving skills before I felt comfortable taking my road test. He was always able to work around my schedule and he communicated promptly. Thanks to him I was able to pass my test after the first attempt! I would 100% recommend this driving school, I had such a positive experience, and I am so happy I chose All Star to help me get my license.

Went with this driving school because of reviews. TERRIBLE!!! Instructor always late, cancelled just before class, driving class is always cut 5-10 minutes short, on personal phone calls throughout instruction. When on calls pointed to my child when to turn..Car dirty and no A/C. Should of cancelled after third class and went with another company... Backing up into parking space and driving into parking space not covered in lessons???? Passed and received G2 but with a lot of extra teaching from us. What’s the point! Wanted her to learn from a professional. If u are in the N/W Mississauga area do not go with this company! Not sure if all instructors are like this but I Learned my lesson and my other children will not be using Allstar again...Wasn’t going to even bother with a review, never do them BUT driving is a great responsibility and needs to be taught in the right way. One star given... Instructor was friendly.

When I was registering with All Star Driving School, I googled their reviews and saw FAROOQ got stunning reviews, I personally requested to have him to be my driving instructor. I had no experience driving and was probably the most scared person to drive but Farooq helped me all the way until I passed my road test. He is very patient and flexible. Knows his job very well. Big shout out to my super patient and experienced instructor FAROOQ for teaching me how to be a safe driver, for the support and trust that I can make it. I had Sidd as my driving instructor. (For G2 AND G - Passed both first try) Last year, I took my G2 Road Test with Sidd as my driving instructor, and I passed in my first try. I got my G2 licence today and the credit goes to my very kind and honest instructor Sir Shaqeel. He is a very patient teacher who never panicked and because of his guidance I was able to overcome my driving phobia caused by an accident. He is really considerate of the cost of lessons and always gave me honest review when I didn't need any more lessons. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.
