When I started the in class sessions, I was scared to drive and had very low confidence in my driving ability. Mainly because I am from a country that drives on the left side of the road, and had already had bad experiences with driving in the past. However, the in class sessions with Puneet gradually built my confidence as I was fully equipped with the knowledge I needed to start driving, and he assured me that the fears I had were unfounded as. I really liked that the classes were not only informative, but also interactive, giving me an opportunity to really understand what I was learning. Yafeth taught me the skills, maneuvers, and movements to build my confidence in driving and get me prepared to take the test. The driving instructors are amazing .i had puneet for my driving instructor . I have been his student on and off for the last 10 years . Little back story . I went to him for 1 on 1 lessons . He told me I wasn't ready for my g2 and I did it anyways.(I didn't listen I failed. Not his fault he's a great teacher I just didnt have anyone else to practice when I was practicing with him. So I was discouraged I let my license expire. He did try to encourage me to keep going but of course I'm stubborn. fast forward 10 years later I came back to him ready to start again .He is very personable gives me tips and tricks while also being funny. He goes above and beyond for his students. Makes u feel so comfortable in the car.Thanks to him I have gotten my g2 and today I just passed my g road test. He's so accommodating he's friendly makes u feel like a friend rather then a student. He's the best . Honestly you cannot go wrong with wards. 100% worth every penny. No regrets.

But when I decided to pursue it, I looked at a number of driving schools and I couldn't be happier that I chose Ward's New Drivers. Between the in-class portion of the course, right down to the in-car lessons, they were understanding, professional and knowledgeable. My driving instructor Yafeth was, to say the least, incredible. He was able to calm my nerves and make me feel completely comfortable while I drove. Giving helpful tips to improve my skills, while being funny and personable. I started off as a very nervous driver before taking lessons with Ward. My mom found out about them online and saw the quality content on Instagram and I decided to give them a call. The secretary, Zeb, was able to connect me with an instructor and I began taking lessons. As time progressed I became more and more comfortable and confident while driving and was able to get my G2 without failing! If you’re a nervous driver and eager to get on the road, I’d highly recommend giving them a call.

Great experience with Ward’s Driving ! I wanted to do a couple refresher lessons before my G test. It was last minute and with covid super busy but Puneet and Yafeth made sure to squeeze me in to get a couple lessons in beforehand. They are extremely accommodating. My driving instructor Yafeth taught me everything I needed to know again before going for my G test. He let me know his opinions and what I could work on / what I am doing great. He always made sure to tell me when I did something correct. He also made sure that I felt comfortable while driving. I definitely recommend Ward’s driving to anyone looking for lessons for their G1, G2 and G. I did all of my lessons from G1 in class to G practice lessons and have nothing but great things to say. Had a really great experience with Wards. The in class information was dry but the instructor was able to present it in a constructive and interesting manner. The classes flew by much faster then I expected going in and I believe I was able to take away a lot of helpful information I didnt previously know. As well I did not have much experience driving prior to the in car lessons but the instructor was patient and helpful. I felt safe and the lessons did wonders to prepare me, I am much more confident in my driving now.

I contacted wards for a quick refresher course, and to use their car, for the G2 test. I had Ziggy for an instructor. He was excellent, told me exactly what the examiner would be looking for and what I needed to brush up on. He took me on almost the exact route the examiner took me on and pointed out common mistakes people often make along the way. When all was said and done I passed the test on the first try. I can’t imagine any driving school being better than Ward’s. The receptionist was really friendly when I first reached out to them. She then connected me with one of their drivers, (Puneet) who became my instructor. Puneet is amazing! He helped me build my confidence to drive on Canada’s roads. The guy KNOWS what he’s doing. Not only were they super friendly and accommodating (I managed to get a test the next day!) they were able to get me two practice sessions in before my test! Puneet from Ward’s New Drivers is the most professional and personable instructor. I went through a driver’s ed course a couple years ago when I was 23 and I had a great experience with the school. I passed my G2 test without much problems, but after a year or so I had gotten into a car accident and suffered from driving anxiety to the point that I would get panic attacks from just being in a passenger seat and going through an intersection. I approached Puneet to help me regain my confidence because I liked his teaching style a lot. He was patient but firm with me and after taking lessons with him for the second time I passed my G and am back on the road. :-) Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn how to drive safely and confidently.

I started classes with Puneet 3 months before my G2. I had been on the road before and Puneet was quick to point out my strengths and weakness. He also made me feel very confident in his teaching. I later switched instructors with Yafeth due to Punnet being away. Yafeth placed a lot of emphasis on safety Driving and anticipation. Within a few sessions, I was able to predict and handle many different situations and roads. I could tell Yafeth had a deep passion for teaching. He would go out of his way to explain concepts, make corrections, and above all inspire confidence in me which is ultimately the reason why I passed the G2 very quickly. "Where do I start, man. " To say my experience driving was a journey prior to working with Puneet & Wards, would be an understatement. Failed my first G1 test coming out of highschool, lost the confidence but a year later won it back and got my G2, then school came in and away I went letting that G2 expire, ever so slowly growing more and more anxious about the day I'd both have to renew it and go for my full G. Fast forward 6 years to today and ENTER PUNEET! Which under some odd circumstances was recommended and introduced to me by my younger brother. As someone who waited until they were 21 to get their G1 and did not have access to a car, the thought of getting my G2 was terrifying. Honestly, I was embarrassed that I had waited so long to learn to drive and was so anxious I would cry whenever any of my friends would try to help teach me drive. I did not think I had the time or the finances to learn to drive through a new drivers program. Not only were the personal in car lessons affordable, the talent and skills of the instructors completely blew me away. Today, I successfully completed my G2 driving exam. If I could rate my experience with Ward's on a scale of 0-100 stars, they would still get a perfect score. I recommend this place to everyone, whether you're a beginner or not. The amount of information I had picked up from my family or peers on driving rules and regulations while growing up that turned out to be wrong, was unbelievable. I know for a fact I would've failed my G2 test had I not taken this course. Puneet, my in-class instructor, was a great teacher, very helpful, and really made sure that the class was understanding everything before moving on to other subjects. Mike Murphy, my driving instructor, made the whole experience for me worth it. He was funny, knowledgeable, and really helped me out by staying calm when I'd be stressed or anxious about doing something wrong. He would answer any questions I had even when we weren't in class about things like insurance, what to look for when buying a car, etc. They also let you use their car for the road test for a small fee if you don't have a vehicle yet. I honestly do believe that Drivers Education should be mandatory in every school, because a lot of people believe that they know everything about driving but they really don't. In the meantime, I recommend this place 100% :) Thank you again, Ward's, Puneet, and Mike !

I had never driven a car up till April 2016. That's when I signed up at Wards, and in the first week of July - I got my G2 drivers license. Within 3 months, Wards took me from learning how to turn in a parking lot to passing my G2 test on the first try. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled across this driving school. My instructor - Cam, was a friendly, helpful and professional individual who clearly knew his job very well and knew exactly what he was doing. He was patient, gave me all the time I needed and made sure I was well prepared for the test, all within a span of 20 lessons within 3 months. Stars are strictly for instructor Ali - Wards and I had some issues with first instructor Chuck! Bad communication, he was rude etc. and they seemed like they didn’t care when called out on an instructor! They stated it would be MONTHS wait time for a new one, however that did not end of being the case. I got a call from a man named Ali, we communicated and fell in love with him! We still keep in contact with him to see how he is doing and give updates! My son passed his G2 road test today, he immediately wanted to let Ali know and wants to see Ali again before his G! Ali is very sweet we just love him! He is caring, supportive, professional, he communicated well with us he also was never late always on time. We really couldn’t have asked for a better instructor once he came into our lives not like Chuck! So do I recommend Wards? Yes and No! I would ask for specific details and information and I would only recommend for Ali as we had him! Chuck absolutely NOT. I was actually ready to say forget it! Definitely I would see if you know anyone else who dealt with Wards and ask how instructors were and who they had, really read reviews and request a person but I would stay away from Chuck!

Puneet is funny and clearly cares about his students (eg. he'll bring you in chocolate). However he barely "babysits" you, which I like. The quizzes are straightforward and a reasonable level-of-difficulty. They give out bonus marks for writing a Google review on them. Little time is actually spent on how to become a good driver, and for many important concepts we're just transcribing notes to a workbook instead of being discussed/ elaborated on. There's a lot of emphasis on "common sense" things like why not to drink and drive, the penalties for distracted driving, etc; so the content of the course can feel really irrelevant if you're a conscientious person. (However all courses share the same workbook and curriculum, so they may all the same in this way).

I was with Ward's for a while when I was practice driving with my G1 and my instructor only yelled at me, which wasn't encouraging. I would much prefer CONSTRUCTIVE criticism rather than being yelled at, but that's just me. Unless someone else can deal with being yelled at while driving, you can use Ward's, but I would never go to them again.

Was shocked that my son didn’t know how to do a 3pt turn or back into a parking spot two weeks before his Drivetest appointment. Found this out when we did a “tour” of the test route as his instructor had never taken him on it. Good thing his older brother knew the route/requirements and we could teach him what he needed in time. Not impressed with poor communication either unless it’s about payment, then you get a quick reply. Nice instructor but baffled by some his omissions.

I have always been incredibly anxious when it comes to driving but Yafeth was amazing. He enforced the rule that "think" is never a verb you should use while driving, which helped a lot to prevent me from getting in a cycle of indecision. Lessons included giving me a chance to come up with a reason for why we have certain rules instead of just telling me to do it without explanation. Very interesting, the comment from the soo call adult student in my weekend class. If your the idiot that was sitting in front of me on your cell and laptop the whole time ...SHAME ON YOU!!! As an adult you should be setting a better example for us in classrooms. Our instructor Puneet did an amazing job on his teaching. He was tough and straight to the point. My friends have gone to other schools where they nothing and they were surprised on how much work we did to understand. As a teen I’d like to say to all parents out there if you want to get your moneys worth and have safe and educated kids...Puneet is the guy you want them to be taught by in the class. This adult disturbed me in my class for the whole weekend with typing away on her laptop. To get respect you need to show it!!! To Puneet’s boss, he deserves a 10/10 and hope that BS comment doesn’t effect him in anyway. My sister and her friends turn 16 in September and I will be telling my parents to send her there. My entire Ward's New Drivers experience has been nothing but amazing! I went to them only having driven a handful of times in the years I have had my G1 and only had a short amount of time to get my G2 before my license expired. They were promt to answer my emails and were super helpful and got me started with a driving assessment, to see if I had a realistic goal! Upon my assessment I was told it would be possible (I wasn’t very confident and of course full of nerves from driving with little confidence and also with a stranger); I was scheduled a few lessons at the end of the month (with the most amazing instructor ever) followed by my road test. In as little as 3 days my instructor got me to the point I could confidently drive around the city and had me learn things that every new driver dreads, to prepare me for the test **cough, cough parallel parking** I am so proud of myself and so thankful to the entire Ward’s team for instilling me with the confidence and knowledge I needed in such short time, that allowed me to successfully pass my G2 road test! I wish i had gone with Wards new drivers sooner! Puneet was a pleasant instructor, he was very friendly and straightforward. He identified my problem on the first day and told me how to fix it. My husband and I both recently passed our G road tests first time with Puneet from Wards driving school, and we couldnt be happier with the incredible service we received. We immigrated from South Africa last year, where we drive on the left hand side of the road, which made me extremely nervous about driving in Canada. Puneet is an incredible teacher, who made every effort to help me increase my confidence while learning to drive safely according to Canadian standards . He worked around our schedules to ensure we had the lessons we needed, even sacrificing his own family time at 7am on a Sunday for me to have an opportunity to practice highway driving while it was quiet. I cannot reccomend Puneet and Wards Druving school enough, and will always be grateful to him for his time and patience , with what I'm sure must have been his most nervous student ever! I am an immigrant with international driving experience. So when i decided to take the road test, i first got myself evaluated by ward driving school. I was evaluated by Puneet. he gave me a honest feedback on what i was doing right and wrong. I took 3 driving classes before my road test and Puneet taught me on being safe and developing good driving habits.I gave my G test last week and passed it in first attempt.
