If I could give this business a 0 I would. My daughter started her training over 2 years ago! She should have had her training done and license in hand before the pandemic started but due to their lack of scheduling/teachers/availability she is still without her license and incomplete program.
I would be understanding however, the they have dealt with us, I have never been treated the way they have treated us.
We have tried booking her last lesson for months. When we booked it, we were ready to meet and got a message a couple hours before that it was for a different time. The teacher mixed up times and said he would get back to me. He never did, and we were out the lesson. I tried again to rebook times but they did not work with work schedules. I agreed to a couple other dates he provided, but warned that the schools Covid rules werent out yet and that if it was like last year, students cant leave and return to the school. In response I received a number of rude and condescending responses saying that he didnt have the time for this, that indoor gatherings and dining is allowed etc. What that had to do with school protocols I have no idea! He then passed me on to the office. I received an email demanding that I confirm a date they provided with a different teacher and to call. I did that, and from the start of the call, Brenda was accusatory and rude. They said we booked numerous dates and cancelled last minute which was 100 percent false! The other teacher also didnt tell her about his screw up and leaving us missing the previous appt. She gave me options for a few others times which were days my daughter worked. I explained she could ask for to switch her shifts but if she is unable to, what is the next step. She acted SO disrespectful and made statements that "its hard to believe a boss wouldnt give her 2 hours off or that they are so short staffed she cant miss a shift". I explained (which noone should need to!) that she worked full time and a new staff, so missing or asking for things is tricky. She can ask for a switch but if noone takes it she cant just not show up. Brenda responsed "we all work ful time dear and can find ways to juggle". I said she was free on a few weekends, but was told they dont have enough drivier/thats not their hours of work...so I guess they can be short staffed and not available but noone else can? She also said that she should have been done her training months ago.....as if it was because of us?! NO! She should have been finished prior to Covid, but the original teacher never booked as stated he would, so we kept getting bumped or had to chase to try and get times (many have had the same issue).
They didnt do their job and didnt provide the services promised (and paid for in full!)
I have never had a business where I have paid for their services (and a big cost!) and received such horrible treatment and service from both the teacher AND the office.
Dont waste your time or money with Drive Right!!! We are out 750$ and now the insurance savings they raved so much about! The only thing I want out of this experience at this point is to ensure their work ethic and services are known and noone wastes their money or time with them ever! They should be called Drive Wrong
