Working with my driving teacher Tom was really a fantastic experience! Tom is very professional, patient, and strength-based. He did a great job of pointing out all the things that I can improve which is much more efficient and professional compared with practicing driving with friends. He is also very patient to answer all of my questions. After taking a couple of lessons from Tom, I finally passed my driving test! It is very worth practicing driving with Tom. If you’re trying to decide where to go for driving school behind the wheel is a great place to go. I did the online class and my in cars with behind the wheel and my instructors name was Mr. Flynn. Super cool guy, positive attitude, and very thorough when explaining the right way to drive especially with maneuver ability. He made me feel very comfortable while driving and I definitely had a good experience!

Mr. Flynn made learning actually fun for a change. In his classroom there wasn't a traditional teacher student relationship because he treated us as young adults. We as teenagers loved the respect he showed toward us and gave him even more in return. I enjoyed all eight days in the classroom with Mr. Flynn and was almost sad to test out of his school. Leaving there i feel like i have a better uderstanding of road saftey and how to react to the drivers around me.

I had a really fun time exploring the road and I also got a chance to watch a few other drivers take their test just so I could get a real life example of what to and not to do. I failed the road test and needed help to pass that portion of the test. Tom was very professional and helpful in pointing out my mistakes and showed me how to fix them! Just schedule a couple hours with him and your performance will improve significantly. I think the price is reasonable and he can tailor to your specific need. Super helpful!! When I called them I had little knowledge of the "process" for helping my daughter get her license. The guy I spoke to was very patient with me and explained the entire process. Unfortunately we are out of their territory and had to go elsewhere. 5 Star customer service!!

BTW is awesome. Period. Mr. Flynn has a fun and informative program that I enjoyed several years ago when I was first becoming a driver. (Not to mention he trusted me with his Audi TT on my first in-car lesson). Now I drive emergency vehicles for a living and use some of the techniques learned at BTW every day (I have the cleanest driving record at the department). Highly recommended.

Don't go to this driving school! I went here 2 years ago and paid the average price of any other driving school. Since I have fail 3 driving test. They had one job to equipt me for the test and they failed miserably.

I used Behind the wheel to prepare me for the road test and the instructor I was paired with was Mr. Flynn. Mr. Flynn was highly knowledgeable and patient during the sessions and provided great advice. His advice definitely helped me feel confident as a driver and especially during the test. He created a safe and comfortable environment to ask questions and learn how to be a safe driver. There were lots of dad jokes to keep the air light. He was accommodating and flexible to my situation. He was very supportive and provided encouragement and extra support to ensure the goal of passing the test was reached. COVID precautions were taken to ensure safety. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Behind the Wheel for anyone who is interested in preparing for the road test.

But you should be patient and listen to his instructions very well. He is one of the best teachers i met. As far as the class room enviorment, I felt very comfortable and found it easy to absorb the information given. Each class was set around a different theme, making it easy to follow. The videos were boring but that's expected of anydriving school.The in-car instuctors are very pleasent and very helpful. However, they are all different,and not every instuctor was right for me. Tom himself was a great intructor. His awkward humor and relatable stories are sure to make you smile, and he carries himself in such a way that assures you that he knows exactly what he is talking about, and is a truely unforgetable person. I highly reccomend.

I did my driving class with Tom and it was beyond excellent! I have driven only once which was about 2 years ago and I did not know how to "properly" and "safely" drive. I only did 6 hours of driving class because I have to move to different state and need to have driving license asap, but Tom taught me really well. Tom walked me through the maneuverability test and driving test really well and is really encouraging. I passed on my first try and I can definitely say that I feel more confident. I am glad that Tom taught me for my driving lesson.

I had 6 years of international driving license in a small city before moving to Cleveland. I put off getting my Ohio license because I was dreading going through the exam process as I get nervous easily. I chose Behind the Wheels because of the excellent reviews, and I’m glad I did. Mr Tom helped quite a bit in building up my confidence in just a few hours. He was patient with my nerves and my mistakes. He explained the exam process very clearly and gave me tips/advice, both for the exam and for managing Cleveland as this is not the easiest city to drive in! His car is great too if you’re thinking of using their vehicle for the exam, it was small and drove very smoothly. I definitely recommend this school, whether you’re a beginner or just need a refresher. In fact, my sister is about to go through the same process and will most probably schedule a few hours with Behind the Wheels too!

Honestly, I feel very lucky to have ended up with the behind the wheel driving school as a new driver. The communication and efficiency of btw is truly miles beyond what I’ve seen from other businesses. The website is surprisingly streamlined and drivers are extremely accommodating in pickup locations, times, and other circumstances. I was expecting a boring experience driving hours with an instructor from btw but the 8 hours I spent driving turned out to be pretty entertaining. Going from a street driver to someone who can pass the maneuverability test isn’t as easy as it may sound but btw definitely helped me achieve that.

He answered his phone while he was walking his dog and was scolding me for not having the information to schedule online classes then hung up on me. Really?! They gave him great advice and tips that I immediately noticed an improvement in Fred’s driving. Fred took his classes online, I like that he was able to retake the classes as many times he felt needed. I want to also thank Ari, each and every time I reached out via text he responded timely. With Covid there were many precautions taken and I felt safe while driving. I also found the 24hr online driving module easy to use and learn from. On top of that, email communication with Ari regarding paperwork and payment was clear and easy to understand. Overall, I had a great experience with Behind the Wheel!
