I appreciated that Lacey was always welcoming. The in class lessons were shorter than I expected but it encouraged me to do more work at home to better understand the traffic laws and how to drive. Gulam was my driving instructor and I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me! He is patient, understanding and let you know what you do well to boost your confidence and gently corrects your mistakes to help you acquire driving skills for life. I never thought to be able to drive one day given my anxieties and yet, by the second day his personality helped me to believe in me. Writing this review for Zuher. I had an amazing experience with this instructor. He was nice, always patient, and always punctual. At first I took the in-class training and after they assigned me an instructor (a different one) and he did my 10 hours in car but even after that I wasn't confident, so I went back and asked for another instructor and they assignment me Zuher. After a couple sessions Zuher knew exactly what I was struggling most with and his repeated instructions helped me remember the important little details during the test. I am definitely coming back for in-car training again for my G licence.

This review is a bit delay. I had a great lesson with Gulam. He is an excellent and thorough instructor. His communication is excellent. He always encourages his student to have self-confidence, as well as follow the rules. He always says that he wants his students to be a good and safe driver, not just to pass the exam. I will always refer Gulam to my friends and family for both G and G2 driving test! If you are new to Canada and your steering wheel in on the right side same as me, please ask for Gulam. The route I took during the exam was also the same route I practiced with Arthur. The places we practiced three point turn and parallel parking was exactly where I had to perform it for the exam. Absolutely ridiculous, this school is all about the money, my instructor (Amer) kept on saying I’m ready for the test, I want 3 times for my test and failed. Each time I would pay $60 to use his car. The 4th time the examiner didn’t get in my car because my instructor’s car had cigarette smell, (It did). School didn’t reimburse me back the fee ($52) I had to pay to reschedule my test. Not to mention the owners of the school give students free wifi during the class in-return students would put a google/yelp reviews. Don’t waste your time and money.

I would not recommend going here. My first in car instructor didn't stop yelling and screaming at me, so I had to switch instructors because they were making me so nervous. My second instructor was alright, he was more relaxed. When I mentioned my first instructor, he told me they were not MTO certified. I didn't even pass my road test and ended up going to another school. This is not a recommended driving school.

U Star is a good driving school, I would recommend it to everyone. I pass my G2 road test on my first attempt. Amer was my driving instructor and he gave me good advices and also he would tell me about the stuff I was doing wrong during my training. I recommend him to be your driving instructor.
