My son went here to take his road test and Pete was awesome! He was patient and fair. Initially my son was very nervous upon arrival but Pete kept open communication with my son and I. I would recommend 100 times if I could!
The instructors here are awesome! I would recommend anyone to come here to practice driving and take the test. Pete was very honest and patient with me. I am more comfortable on the road now.
Pete was awesome!! He was very nice and didnt make me feel pressured behind the wheel!! I very recommend you going there to take your road test!! Thank you pete again!! Its me Gus!!
I was very nervous for my test, Pete was absolutely awesome! Would totally recommend going to this school ! Thanks again !
Instructor was great!
I took my road test with Dan. I can say honestly, he's a man of no other. Very Discipline about safety first. He was very calm and understanding. Words can't explain how greatful I was to have him as my road test instructor. God blessing.
I would give zero stars if I could. Go anywhere else to take your road test. The instructor Dan was horrible, I passed the parking portion with flying colors. But he failed me because I hit two cones!! You’re able to aquire 6 points! I got 2! He should definitely not be giving road tests. He doesn’t know what he’s doing at all. What a joke! Beforehand I took my road test two times with Pete. He was even worse!!! The first time I knew I passed but he failed me because “I didn’t look both ways at some intersections when I did! He wouldn’t have known because he was too busy looking down, marking things on the score sheet. You can pass with a score of 25 anything over that is a fail. And I got a 28! Then the next time was just as bad as the first, so I passed the parking portion like before. And went on the road, throughout the whole drive I could feel the car pulling me to the right. Which means the tires need to be realigned!!! How could you have teenagers take a road test in a car that isn’t even safe!!!!???? I’m just shocked at how horribe the instructors are at Premier. It’s time to hire some new ones. Because these old guys don’t know what they’re doing. PETE AND DAN THINK ABOUT RETIREMENT! I will never, ever! go back here to take my road test again. These fools wasted my time & my money!!!
I just got my road test today~ and I passed. The examiner understands my circumstances when I said my English is not my first language. So whenever he told me to do anything (change lanes, turn, speed limit,..) he explained to me really carefully. No rushing at all.
Used for a road test. Pete was the instructor. He is very clear with instructions and professional, I will recommend him to everyone needing a road test.
My driver instructor was very helpful and nice would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for the experience so happy i have my liscence.
My husband used premier for a motorcycle road test and both my older children used them for motor vehicle. My girlfriend also used them for her daughter with Aspergers. They were great. The instructors were kind, relaxed, informative. I highly recommend them.
The instructor was very informative and very nice and patient with my granddaughter I would recommend him again
Easy instructions to follow, friendly service. Stress free road tests.
Pete was very nice! didn't make me feel nervous at all. Very smooth experience. Would recommend!
I had a road test with Dan today, super chill and professional, even though I messed up a bit he was there to help out and didn’t put pressure on me, Dan is a good road tester if you plan on doing your road test here
The instructor Daved was awesome, he really helped me calm and went above and beyond.
My Daughter's just concluded the segment 1 with Mr. and Mrs. K. They are both extremely respectful, professional, really exceeding our expectations. All the many, many feedbacks they gave me about my daughter (in class, behind the wheel, what they were expecting from her in the written test, etc) were very helpful and, beyond making me proud of her, brought me confidence on their job and on the grand finale we got: SHE PASSED! Tks Mr. and Mrs. K!! God Bless you!
Great place to take your road skills test. The tester was very fair and let me know what I did wrong. Would 100% recommend.
Excellent school. Instructors are kind and patient and dedicated to helping the students learn. I have had experience with other schools and this one is the best!
I called to schedule a road test on a motorcycle. Unfortunately the day slipped my mind, work called in early and I missed my appointment, because of the nature of my work I'm on call 24/7 and the early hours I was not able to call and cancel, and could not miss work,. Apologized and was going to reschedule and offer compensation for their time wasted. Instead I get hung up on and told to go somewhere else. Which is no big deal that I will do. It is very unprofessional to hang up on a potential customer, even under the circumstances. Being in a business myself that deals with customers/clients daily for thousands more than a road test I understand this. Unprofessional. Regardless of any situation. We can rectify it or the review will stay, that affects my life in no way. seems you would much rather argue any ways.
Failed my daughter while doing parallel parking while she was inside the cones. She did very well. He said it’s because she was suppose to bag back some more. Took her whole $90. I wouldn’t recommend this place. They just want your money.
Pete the instructor was very polite, instructive and helpful.
Absolutely horrible. Got into a car accident caused by one of the teachers and got a concussion because of it. They never called to check on me or my family and the instructor never asked about my conditions either. When I came back to the class after missing 3 days due to the instructor’s misbehalf , the instructor told me that I need to retake the class.
So Dave gives my daughter a road test I'm in back seat he clearly tells my daughter to make a right then tells her to make another right so basically we went around the corner of the driving school parking lot,ok so he tells her to park when we arrive and tells us she fails cause I told her to make a left so for the mothers please!records while in the car even tho me and my daughter two sets of ears are better than one Dave probably meant to say left but not going to take responsibility that he really FAIL THE TEST!! LIKE I told him enjoy that $110.00
Ok I think his name is Pete but I'm pretty sure I accidentally called him Steve (oops!) but anyway the tester was very nice. I ended up being two hours late to the test because I took two buses out to the wrong church (with the same name). He waited two whole hours for me to get there and when I arrived I was scared he was going to be really angry but he ended up being the chillest, friendliest and most patient tester I've driven with (I failed the test twice prior). But yeah I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for your road test, he was awesome!
I have to say I would recommend Premier Driving Academy to anyone. I had an amazing instructor Pete. I loved the whole experience! I can not tell you how stressed I was to take my road test beforehand, but my experience with Premier made that all go away.
Nice, Professional People..
My instructor was Dave and he was awesome he definitely eased my nerves and he passed me!! Thank you again Dave definitely would recommend you to anyone!
My girlfriend came here to take her driving test and Dan was amazing. He was very professional and spoke clearly. She wasn’t nervous with him. He was very honest and nice. Overall the best place we could have chose. He even let her use her car even though the heat didn’t work and it was like 80 degrees out so she could save an extra $30 and not have to use the cars they provide. I recommend everyone and anyone get tested by Dan. He is the best.
Keith tested me today. He was very professional and pleasant. I recommend this school for driver's training if you feel you're not ready. I know many people to use this school for motorcycle and vehicle road tests. Thank you Keith for your service and kindness today.
Very nice driving tester. Calm instructor .
Great place for a road test and any type of instruction you may need. I attended both segment 1 & 2 with Premier, and absolutely loved it. They really do their best to teach you all that you need to know. And recently, I just conducted my road test with Dan; he was great, attentive, and a really cool guy. Highly recommend Premier for any teens out there looking for a safe and credible driving school.
I just took my road test for the first time this week and I passed it!! I had such a good experience taking this test here with Pete he is a great instructor very kind and helpful i was nervous at first but glad he was there to advise me. he explains everything to make you feel comfortable! They even have rental cars that you can use if you are unable to bring a car in!
I don’t usually come to these pages. I believe in my staff and their professional approach to the job. Najeree left out a few things and that we gave her explicit instructions on what she needed to do. We will not give a license out because somebody is upset with failing. To explain the parking part of the test to her, which we did, you can acquire points in three ways, not just hitting cones. Hitting a cone is an encroachment point. If you start a backing exercise and have to put it in drive, you get a point for each time you put it in drive. These are called reposition points. You can also acquire a point if you go over a stop line or don’t finish in the proper position (inside the Y-turn or parallel parking exercises). Premier driving academy has a “failure rate a bit below the state wide average. So we don’t fail drivers who can complete all of the requirements. We do understand there is frustration with failures and we’re more than happy to explain what you need to work on when you’re done, and we do. We also go over the mistakes you make and what you can work on when you pass. Thank you for reading this.
Poor communication skills, consistently criticized and demeaned students (I could over hear them from an adjacent room as they yelled at them during zoom courses). Didn't deliver any quality education prior to my child's first experience behind the wheel that would have made him feel comfortable driving. As a college professor whom has dealt with teenagers for a long time there are right and wrong ways to educate. Demeaning, demoralizing and eviscerating the student is not the way to do it, especially behind the wheel. Frankly as a current parent, I would not feel comfortable sending my child back to learn from these instructors nor will I be recommending this company at the colleges I instruct for. Very unprofessional If I could give a lower rating I would.
Pete was my daughters instructor..very patient man I recommend this driving school.
My son took his driving test with a patient professional staff member. 5 stars!
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. The husband and wife instructors are the rudest most condescending people I have ever spoken to. They kept arguing that they never got my emails and then I overheard the husband say oh they’re in my spam folder. They didn’t apologize to me at all that it was their fault for not checking their spam folder. I did everything that was instructed but still got an attitude and an argument. Im glad I got to see their true colors before my kid ever went to their first class. These people should not be around children!
Wow, I just came on here because somebody alerted me there is a review by a parent about my instructors. The parent below had been on facebook and said we had taken his child out on Groesbeck the first time we drove him. THAT WAS AN ABSOLUTE LIE. His partner, in an email, told me that lie would be taken down. But at that point, what does it matter? You can lie about any business and it's too late. But it's the review about my instructors below that has my blood boiling. They are two often, requested instructors, by families who had taken driver's ed wth us before. The parents of this student were upset because the student didn't know how to get onto our fantastic automated site which allows students to sign up for drives on a computer When the instructors talked him through it, the parents told me in an email that the instruction wasn't good enough because they seemed "condescending". They didn't like the tone. After the first drive, their son, LIKE MANY, students didn't leave the neighborhood as successful as he wanted to. LIKE MANY STUDENTS. He went home and either told his parents my instructors took him out on Groesbeck or the parents themselves made that up. It was one drive, and he had never been behind the wheel before and he wasn't having the success he wanted so he was upset. That's a normal process. Slowly, with each drive, they catch on and get better. After the first drive, the person below had his partner email me that they didn't want to have their son in the class anymore and that he was upset with his first drive, and that my teachers had a bad tone while speaking with their son. I not only said that was fine (we are beyond backed up with business and my two instructors have worked through covid from June of last year without a break), but I'd give the family a full refund, even though the contract said I didn't have to. We bent over backwards for the family. The father lied about us on facebook and now I see that review below. I notice that he never said, "oh, and they gave me a full refund even though we were in the class for a week and my child took a drive too" Please understand, some students are not quite ready for driver's ed. That is absolutely fine. I get that if someone fails a road test, they're upset with the road tester, it's not a good feeling. I get that some students don't want driver's ed, their parents actually make them take it and are disappointed when the student says he doesn't like the class. That's fine. But, in this age of internet and blind reviews, it's a bit disappointing that I read this on the internet. Not only was the family given a full refund, we offered them any help we could with their student in the future. Wow, just a huge disappointment. I know it's just a review, but I won't let it go unanswered, not when it speaks poorly of my instructors and not when the same person had lied about my company on facebook. I'm absolutely positive my company, myself, my instructors are not anywhere near perfect. We accept criticism and use it to get better, but I won't be quiet, for this. I was quiet on facebook, but I won't be for this.
I took the road test and the instructor was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He had a great energy. I passed the first time and he gave constructive criticism in a very kind manner. I highly recommend this place. I know a lot of road test places are a scam but this one is not one of those places.
Good place to get your driver's test done :) The instructor, Keith, was helpful and thorough. He talked a little too much lol as I was waiting for him to sign my certificate after the test was over he went on a loooong 20-minute story. But, other than that, he was great. They have cones set up in the parking lot 24/7 (except on Sundays -- it's at a church) so you can practice your front, rear and parallel parking, which I appreciated. I recommend Premier Driving Academy.
Would recommend!!! Shout out to Pete my instructor very nice and Patient????
