I had a very bad experience after finding Elite Driving School. Finally, I found Elite and when I read the reviews, I was sure that it was the place that I needed to go. Mr. Bryan is EXCEPTIONAL. I could see how he enjoys teaching. He is EXTREMELY professional, kind, patient, and more important, he wants us to succeed. He knows how we get anxious and with his kindness, he helps us not to get stressed and learn everything that we need, in order to be a responsible driver. He explains everything in details. I learned a lot with Mr. Bryan. Driving requires a lot of responsibility and everything that he taught me will be with me forever. If you are also from another country, don’t hesitate to go to Elite. There are so many different things that you need to learn to drive in the USA. You won’t regret having Mr. Bryan as your instructor. I know how hard it can be but with his expertise, you will succeed. Mr. Bryan, words will never be enough to express my gratitude. Thank you so very much for everything. It was an honor getting my driver’s license at Elite and with you. :) thank you.

First and foremost, I just wanted to say that when one is taking their road test, it is a nerve wrecking experience. There are a lot of reviews for driving schools that are absolutely horrendous with people who have been unlawfully tested or their examiners are rude and unfair. What I can tell you about Elite Driving School is that you will not find this at their school at all. Everyone to the woman answering the phone, to the examiners and drivers are incredibly friendly and kind. As if that wasn't enough, Brian (one of the owners) knows his stuff, which is refreshing as I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience at Courtesy Driving School (Take a look at their reviews, they speak for themselves!). After being fed up with not learning a thing from Courtesy, I took my time and renewed my permit a bunch of times until I was comfortable driving and fully aware of the rules of the road. After reading all of the reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Elite for my road test. I learned more from this school during the 45 minutes of my test, then I learned in drivers training! I highly recommend this school for the road test. Thanks to this school, I passed the first time and walked away feeling confident. Thank you so much Elite!!!!!

I loved this driving school! My instructor Marty was so calm it helped my anxiety on the road test! He told me pointers to practice and i passed! I definitely recommend them to anyone because they actually teach you and care about your safety on the road. Just be sure to have that experience on the road.

If you’re looking for a driver’s test Elite Driving School should be your top choice! I called out of business hours and left a voicemail when I wanted to set up an appointment, they got back to me very quickly and were super flexible and nice over the phone. The morning of my test I was really stressed, but the instructor made everything so relaxed and comfortable. He explained everything really clearly, gave advance directions, and answered any questions I had. He was nice, kept the conversation going the entire time, and really seemed like he wanted you to succeed. This is a great company ran by great people!

This is the best driving school in St. Clair Shores! My instructor was so easy going and on point that he made the whole experience learning and passing my test a whole lot easier on me. I feel 100% confident on the road and I believe they won’t put you there with a license unless they are 100% confident in you as well. Thank you so much elite❤️

1) driving instructor was half an hour late 2) instructions were not given thoroughly BEFORE the driving test 3) after points were taken off for not following the unthorough “instructions”, instructor THEN proceeded to give instructions that were supposed to be given BEFORE 4) because of the instructor, will be made to pay another $50 for THEIR INCOMPETENCE.

If your live in the Pointes/Shores area or anywhere near, Elite Driving is the place to go for road tests. I didn't take driver's ed here, so I can't give a review based on that. However I did take my road test and am very happy to say I passed. Let me give you a quick overview of how my test(s) went: I took my first one about a week ago and failed. It had nothing to do with Elite, it had to do with my inability and lack of experience when parking with cones. That being said I had Brian, who was extremely helpful even after I had failed the test in explaining what I did wrong and what I needed to do in the future to ace it, as well as practice tips. They scheduled me for a retake ASAP. I retook the test today, with Angela. To say it was a positive experience would be an understatement. Angela was calm and clear in her explanations of what to do. She was extremely kind and helpful, and managed to lower my anxiety quite a bit by making me feel more confident in my driving. And I'm glad to say I passed! So overall: Go to Elite Driving. From my two experiences here with the test alone, I can guarantee that anyone who goes to Elite will get a great driver's education, and a great testing experience.

They didn't even let me drive to the area do my parking and failed me right away but when I took the classes there I was told I would still be able to drive even if I didn't pass the parking very dissatisfaction

They wasted my time and basically stole money from me, the first time I went there they told me I couldn't test and charged me 20 dollars for nothing. A week later I showed up for a test on time and they had forgotten about me and gave someone else a test. Trust me this place doesn't care about you all they want is your money and they'll waste your time and your money, don't go here

I came here to take my road test after another place failed me and I'm so glad I did! The instructor provided a really comfortable enviornment so it felt more like giving a friend a ride then being tested on my driving and I was more relaxed. If you have test anxiety or you're really afraid I would recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing from the secretary who answered my phone call and set up an appointment to the driving instructor I took my test with. The instructor was on time and very polite about everything and explained what I would be doing and when. My son had his road test at Elite. He was extremely nervous, the instructor helped him stay clam and feel a bit more comfortable. Because of the instructors demeanor, my son was able to relax a bit and he passed his test. The instructor was there before we were, we did the parking lot test, freeway and the residential streets. I would definitely recommend this place. ????

Take your kids here for segment I & II and the driving test!!!!! I found this great company after my daughter had a horrible experience with Courtesy (they screamed at her during her segment I driving test--just terribly un-professional and down right mean). I hired Elite to give her the final driving test (for her license) and Brian was so patient and gave her so many helpful tips during the test. I really wish I had found them first and sent her to get taught by them. They actually have teachers who hold masters degrees in teaching to instruct these classes. Who would have thought to actually hire teachers to teach a drivers education class, duh!?! That's what every company should be doing but they unfortunately hire anyone off the street and your child doesn't actually learn much from them. I cannot say enough of how pleased I am with this company!! I am already referring my friends!

All of my children have been through this driving school and they liked it. The youngest is just finishing up segment one on Zoom during a pandemic. They worked well dealing with all that chaos.

They charge 50 dollars for the road test. First they take you to a parking lot with CONES which is hard to see and you aren't allowed to stick your head out the window. If you don't pass the first part which is parallel parking then the road test is over in 10 minutes and no money back. You can't make many mistakes parking. It's Michigan who parallel parks often!! Have talked to other parents and they had the same complaint about this place.

So I sent my son to just take his test there. First of all the instructor shows up a half our late. The the only thing he did with him was have him turn onto Harper then turn down by CVS to go to the Civic Arena. Had him do a parallel parking and back up into a parking spot. Who doesn’t actually take them on a few main roads or the freeway. That’s not very good testing to make sure your child is ready

Great! My son took his road test here on 7/17/17. Brian was so good at helping calm his nerves, he gave him great instructions and kept him relaxed during the test. If he did something wrong Brian explained why it was wrong and how to fix it. Our only regret was that we didn't send him to Elite for training.
