They always push for more extra classes. All the time they fail you in the written evaluation then pay extra and pass you next time. Same with driving evaluation, they fail you try to steal more money from you by saying you need 10-12 extra classes. And you can’t argue as they are rude. Never heard of such forceful stealing in other schools. They need to think person’s finances. I think they need mass reporting to SAAQ.

RUDEST MOST ARROGANT woman at the desk. she will promise the world but will NOT deliver. Upsell and price gauge anything that is possible. She asked for $600 to get the license for a foreign license holder, that is only $11 at the SAAQ. They will pass everyone to keep the reputation of the school, during the written test instructor helps with the answer; and ask all students to give 5stars on reviews, so DO NOT believe those 5star reviews, I would give ZERO if I could. GOV should shut this place down. There are so many other driving schools in the area, go to another.

Worst school ever. BE CAREFUL, they are not professional, rude and aggressive. Never advised us that the diploma should be completed in specific time and now they squeezing the arm asking for 229$ otherwise start from the beginning. They don't even admit it is their responsibility to make it clear for clients. They are the most unprofessional, rude, aggressive and impolite people I have ever dealt with even with top hierarchy position in that place. They don't deserve one star, they deserve ZERO. No minimum respect for clients. But I have to choose a star otherwise won't be able to post my comments.

Omega is a quality school, otherwise it would no longer be in business. ESPECIALLY during a pandemic. Despite all the restrictions and complications the COVID-19 pandemic has imposed upon so many businesses, this school keeps teaching several hundreds of students, organizing them into schedules, notifying them of their grades, giving them customer service and working very hard ALL during a pandemic with a very small team. This cannot be easy at all but the Omega staff is managing admirably. IMPORTANT: All schools have A+ /B+ /C- students and a few sore losers that failed to study. Chances are, the few angry one-star reviews here also come from angry sore losers that failed to study for their driving tests.

Amazing Learning.,The institute is so well organized and so are their courses. The administrative Duo Sahar and Sarah , always welcoming and accommodative to ur requests. The Theory Teacher Mr.Dariel it's just so fun learning with him. He has real life examples for everything u need to understand. The Driving Teacher Islam, My favourite because every on-road session with him is a road test, after every session u'll get ur feedback, what's good N what u need improvement in. Also Driving Teacher Farid., he let's u gain ur confidence by letting u drive by yourself and guiding in thru.. Lastly., the manager Sally., she s so awesome., she called me only once ., but for an amazing thing., she got my driving appointment in less than a week time. Only suggestion for school would be stick onto one teacher per student, so that the teacher knows his students areas to improve. And request all teachers to provide your feedback after session., in terms of meeting and improvements in following each rule in regulation noticed while driving. Overall experience was really amazing., I would suggest this school for new learners.

OMEGA Driving school Décarie was the best choice of driving school to take driving lessons with.the manager and staff are very welcoming and do everything and anything to assist you,even went abouve and beyond and organized my test day and even spacing out my driving lessons appropriately! Jacques was a godsend for me so knowledgeable and patient and understanding..he made sure everything he taught me stayed with me including psychology of drivers on the road. I enjoyed my in-car sessions with Mr. Islam (entertaining, yet straight to the point and easy to learn from him) and Jack (extremely knowledgeable, you'll learn a lot about driving when you have him. I highly recommend taking Jack when you get the chance to as he teaches helpful and valuable skills for both the SAAQ road test and life too)! Omega really prepares you for the exams at the SAAQ. Only thing is staff are a little pushy with money sometimes. But overall, I recommend this driving school! 4.5 / 5 stars

He made every session inside the car a very interesting one, he share and gave tips for driving safely and always telling me that i am not preparing you just for the exam but for a life long safe driving. The theory instructor I had was easygoing which made classes less boring and a little more interesting. The driving instructors were friendly as well. I dislike driving and I tense up whenever I have to drive. However, it makes things a lot easier with instructors like them. Also, the last driving session was very helpful. Very bad school ,they stole my money. I came to this school in July 2019 to learn about driving. I met miss Sally she was good at the beginning until she took my money. She sent me questions with answers in the email about driving to read them and that is it!! she got 750 dollars if i knew about it from the beginning I would never deal with them. I studied alone and I passed the knowledge test. I came back to omega to get the rest of my money because I didn’t want to continue with them. I took the appointments for the knowledge test and the road test alone. After I passed the knowledge test I went to miss Sally and she said “ you won’t pass” and “you don’t have any money and go to court if you can”. I recommend anyone to avoid this school because they are just looking for money.

There was a male staff member, so to ask about the class I opened the door and went in. Suddenly the guy got mad (literally suddenly) "You mustn't come in here. I'm on break and you shouldn't come in if the lights are off in the office. If I wasn't here, you would have stolen the stuff from the office." He shouted and treated me like a thief. The theory instructor spends 90% of every lecture going on irrelevant tangent after tangent after tangent, which would be fine if the lecturer wasn't screaming at the top of his lung like the classroom is a rave and that's the only way you can hear him, but that's honestly not the worst part, the guy seems like an okay person and mean well so eh the WORST was the driving instructor who was the WORST case of mid age crisis i've ever had to deal with, moody, immature, severe inferiority complex which was probably the only reason they took this job, so they can pull imaginary ranks on students who are too busy and apathetic so they just go along with it, this amount of self-importance was only acceptable from like a nobel prize winner or something, which, if I had to guess, I don't think the instructor was? I only had 4 driving sessions before i had to move away for a year long internship, don't think i'm coming back for more. and if you HAD to use this driving school, book your driving sessions with the instructor with the full head of hair (forgot his name sorry) and him only, he was pretty chill

(I've seen this happen to a girl on the 2-student evaluation practice). The in car sessions have been very informative and helpful. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the teachers offer up reminders and helpful tips. I have learned a lot. They helped reduce the anxiety and stress that can come from driving in Montreal especially the downtown area and during winter. I felt safe at all times and the teachers offered up encouragement. As far as the in class work i see a lot of people complain about the teacher taking attendance etc but the Government requirements are very strict so it needs to be done. I see several students arrive late and using cell phones and eating during class with very little respect for punctuality and others, of course the teacher must do his best to maintain order. The issue is mostly with students not the teachers. I have always been able to get someone on the phone or email and have all my questions answered. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I think most of these negative reviews were written by fake profiles or immature people that have no respect or understanding of how difficult it is to maintain and operate a business during a pandemic. The staff works hard to get all the students enrolled and ready to pass. I have several friends with children approaching driving age and i recommend this school to all of them. I have almost 300,000 views and interactions on my Google reviews i take it seriously and i only wrote truthfully.

Overall: unprofessional, disorganized, and trying to scam students. The main problem with this school is the head secretary (the one with blonde hair). She blames students for her stress and takes it out on them. Once there was a snowstorm and the school called to reschedule the appointment and she was yelling at me on the phone about how the storm was my fault and I should be more flexible with my schedule (even though I gave her plenty of availability). She also yells at students counting on the fact that this is their first major purchase and they won't yell back. She then tells the students that this is okay because "you are like my children". As someone responsible enough to show up for appointments and wanted to get a quality education here, I did not need a driving school mother to yell at me and stress me out every time I enter the building, and especially not before the exam. Completely unprofessional service. They are also disorganized. I once had to wait 1.5 hours for my instructor to show up. I also had to reschedule many times for their convenience (not mine) and was failed to be notified that I would have to renew my contract with them because of all the time wasted from the rescheduling ($200). It's also worth mentioning that they tell you you NEED to purchase extra sessions ($50/h) and the extra lessons always conveniently end 20 min early (so 50$/40 min). They are just trying to scam young adults. Just save yourself the stress and money and go to a more professional driving school.

I made a good decision because they were very flexible with my schedule. I am a full time student and have a part time job. They were able to finish me with the respectable delays of the prgram!! thanks to all the staff who made sure I got qualified training and excellent service. The teachers are very friendly, honest and straight to the point. Shows they care about teaching the lessons. They have a good reputation and im glad my friends told me to come here. I took extra hours with the specialists as well (he is excellent ask for Jack he is the best) They guided me through everything and gave me recommendations!!! The experience they have is one of the reasons i agreed to sign up. You get what you pay for!!! Special thanks to Sir Islam who is an amazing instructor who made the practical learning easy to understand and to clear the concepts in depth in every way possible. A credit also goes to Sir Farid who helped me to work on my mistakes. The receptionists were very cooperating and listens if you have any concern. They try to help resolve your problem, like they did in my situation. But, one of the manager's attitude was rude, unprofessional, and I did not like at all. That lost one star. She helped me a lot to get the right time and date for my road test in SAAQ. I would like to thank specially my teacher, Mr. Islem who really taught me some very good techniques to drive well specially how to do all kinds of parking, lane changes smoothly. He is a very nice human being and will always go that extra miles with you to make sure you become a very good driver. It is because of him, I passed my road test in Henri-Bourassa in the first attempt (many people dont pass in Henri-Bourassa in the first attempt). Even the examiner was so impressed to see my driving skills during the test that he asked me from where did I learn these skills. So I will highly recommend everybody to go to this Omega driving school just opposite to metro Cote-vertu if you really want to learn driving. If I can give it minus 5 stars I will. I advise anyone who intends to register at this school does some research first. I wasted more than 2 year with this school. At the end, they can just fail your evaluation and ask you to take the evaluation over and over again. You have to pay more and more, waste both your time and money. In the end you just won't get the necessary paper to go for the test, they just want you to pay more. They extort money out of poor students and immigrants. Don't be deceived by their "promotion", you'll end up paying at least double that price. My 2 cents: Go for another school if you haven't registered yet, and withdraw your file if you already registered. I had such amazing teachers! The school os very organized and do everything to make sure you get your money’s worth and succeed. They told me to book 8h extra with the Specialist and it was totally worth it. Mr jack hagop has been doing this for over 30 years and his students always pass with flying colours. This driving school is a joke. Most of these reviews must be fake. I signed up due to proximity and convenience. you’re better off going to literally any other driving school, just don't go here. The administration is very mediocre, unclear, and offer very inconsistent service. The teacher was horrendous. Farouz had no control of the class. He is the wrong person to be teaching these classes. We spent more time taking attendance and arguing about people turning on cameras during the zoom sessions than covering material. Full on arguments with yelling and swearing between students and the teacher would not be a rare occasion. Name calling, students in the chat using homophobic slurs, and insulting each other like children. We wasted so much time on nonsense, that the 2-hour classes sometimes were only about 45-60 minutes of covering material. I did not learn one thing from these classes. Farouz the teacher just reads off a PowerPoint presentation, word for word, the titles, the headers, the brackets, quotations etc.… He does not actually teach anything. He literally reads every single word on the slides. And when near the end of class and he had wasted too much time having arguments with the students he would just skip through slides to get to the end of his PowerPoint presentation. He would be better off emailing a copy of the PowerPoint slides to everyone and not even having a class. The teacher would go on and on with stories from his personal life that had nothing to do with driving. 2 of the in-car instructors were great. the rest were terrible. Some of the instructors were very stressful and not at all conducive to a productive learning environment in the car, constantly making inappropriate jokes about women that were walking down the street, distracting, and giving unclear instructions, yelling random things that they thought was funny. They were constantly cancelling driving appointments last minute with no reason. A few times you would show up for an appointment and no one was even there, and the door was locked, so you had to stand outside on the street waiting for someone to show up. Overall, I would not recommend this institution. It’s an absolute circus. This is one of the least pleasurable interactions with a business that I have ever had in my life. Avoid this school at all cost. DO NOT GO HERE!

Teachers are incompetent. One of the theory teachers rants on about his life, the other one, Daniel, can't give a straight answer to a simple question, much less debate an unclear point. A very frustrating waste of time. Driving teachers look at their phone and read the news instead of looking at the road. Oftentimes, they say almost nothing during the whole lesson so you have no idea of whether you are doing well or not. During the last theory class, the teacher asked us to write a review of the school. 'But only a good review, don't write a bad review!!!!' he said. Ha. How about an honest review? In short, I would never ever recommend this school to anyone.

Omega is the best driving school. I switched from Prestige to Omega it was the best decision I ever made. Very well organized the staff are amazing. Dario is the best driving instructor. He's patient and explains everything so well. Highly recommend coming to this school.

So I moved 2 years ago in Mtl to go to Concordia. I live in Ndg and I was looking for driving schools near by me . Found a few but some were insanely expensive. I asked friends at school and they told me their older brothers/sisters & parents got their classes done at Omega as well as them.I checked it out and I was totally stoked when I found out I can take classes in Ndg & by my school. I didnt have to go across town for my classes because of both locations. People are friendly and got me through my classes. Definitly recommend it if youre looking for an affordable and convenient school ***** star service

Great experience at this school in general. Great teachers that make the classes (both theory and practice) enjoyable. Even the secretaries are nice. Passed my theory and practice exam on my first tries thanks to this school. Faried and Islam helped me the most by taking additional classes with them. 100% would recommend.

I was able to finish my classes despite the pandemic because they adapted by hosting remote zoom classes, and was able to practice driving with sanitizing procedures in place. The staff is very friendly and i had a great experience learning from different instructors! Very good experience overall and was able to pass every exam on the first try! thanks everyone

I want to give a huge thank you to this school not only for the end result but for making the journey an amazing one as well. There is a great sense of ownership and passion at this school and it shows in the classroom, the instructors and the staff. They are very personable as well as patient and caring. I have had a great year here and got to know some great people. If your looking to find a school to learn, train or start your driving journey than I highly recommend Omega. They really go the extra mile and to them you are not just a client your a guest in their home. Lots of businesses could take notes from them on customer service! In the classroom they take the time to explain everything beyond what the SAAQ requires and show practical examples. In the cars the instructors are patient and have a wealth of knowledge to help you understand the roads as well as utilizing what you have learned in the classrooms. They adapt the teaching to each student and cater to individual learning needs. It was overall a great experience. Once again thank you and see you on the roads!
