Vip Driving Academy is recommended for everyone. Here are the reasons: Before taking driving lessons with Alex for just short period of time to do the test for today, I did practices with few tutors. But he is still the best tutor. Before doing the lectures with him, I was so nervous. However, after that, I felt so confident. He is very kind, passionate and calm. He reminded me every time I made mistakes. After that, he used clipboard to show me what I did wrong and let me ask questions so that I could remember. He gives me good instruction with a clear information which helps me a lot during the test such as pre-trip, parking, pull over and park... He is always on time and create a clear and essential routine for the practice so that I can get the most effective and efficient hours to do the practice. I never thought when I booked my classes that the VIP driving academy would make ME feel like a VIP! I'd rate Alex 100 stars if I could! He's very kind and he's very thorough. He's really fun to drive with, but he'll always be sure you're being the best driver you can be! I only had a few lessons with Alex but I went from being not-very-confident in the driver's seat (with some experience) to feeling like I could drive *anywhere* in 5 or 6 hours (and passing my Class 7)! So I just came to Vancouver and my International drivers license expired so I had to renew it. I passed my knowledge test and luckily found test drive appointment 2 days after. I don't know any driving school here so I started to call one by one. Everybody was booked only Alex called me back and he was very accommodating and squeezed my lessons in his busy schedule. 1 lesson in 1 day and I passed class 5 test. I am extremely happy and I am 110% sure the money is worth it (I had a license in a different country, but if you come from elsewhere like me, you know Canada is a totally different level of strictness in terms of rules and law). I was extremely pleased with how well he taught me and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel (I was really nervous before test). He explains to you what to do and why you do things to keep yourself safe while driving. He has a keen eye for the potential mistakes that you might make. He is straight-forward and will tell you your mistakes. That is how I grew fast and got my license. Definitely recommend Alex.

Alex is a fantastic driving instructor. I took the road test package (class 5) which was reasonably priced. This included a 1 hour warmup where he helped cover my weaknesses, and then I could use the car for my scheduled road test. His car is in great shape - very clean and he is thoughtful enough to keep sanitizers, snacks and water at hand. I would highly recommend Alex if you want to pass your road test.

I am a beginner driver. Alex made it clear from the beginning that his goal is to teach his students into becoming safe drivers. I took classes regularly for about two months. I had practiced earlier with another school which was expensive but closer to my place but I failed with them in my first attempt. Alex made sure that we worked together on all my mistakes and he would make me repeat the maneuvers until I got it perfectly right.
