I took 6 classes + 1 hr warm up session with Joe and successfully cleared my class 7 road test today in pouring snow. From my experience, I can tell that Joe is a very caring instructor. You have to put in the work with him to be successful. He was strict on things that I was lacking, and gave feedback and corrective measures to make them right. We made sure there’s no room for error before the test day. He helped me become a better driver. I think he charges very fairly compared to other schools and you get good value. He’s also flexible in scheduling lessons. It goes both ways. But he’s very reliable and accommodating. Don’t sweat too much on choosing an instructor. Go with Joe ????.

And when it comes to the lessons, he will not waste your time, he will straight up show you how to parallel park, 3 point turn and do other maneuver that you will need to know. Also, he will take you to route where the actual road test happens. He will point out all your mistakes and will show you how to fix all these. He is patient and does not rush you at any point. Joe at The Canadian Driving School was excellent. I contacted Joe to get lessons for my daughter. He responded promptly and confirmed driving lesson dates and times within a few days. He always followed up with any questions I had and his lesson prices are very reasonable. He always showed up on time and gave my daughter something to work on after each lesson. After just 4 lessons and some driving time with her parents, my daughter was able to pass her driving test with almost no errors on the first try. Wow. Where are my words? Joe is an amazing instructor. Aside from offering the best deal in town for driving lessons (BY A LOT), the lessons were both constructive and productive. Each 1.5 hour lesson I had with him, he helped me through all my bad driving habits and made sure I was safe at all times. He is patient and explains everything clearly and concisely to make sure you understand your strengths and shortfalls. He took me through the neighbourhood I had my test (Point Grey) so I could better get to know the roads and what to expect on my exam. He structures his lessons specifically for exam success by letting you know exactly what they look for. His approach is calculated and intuitive, both of which can be taught. Ultimately, I passed on the very first try, and despite my nerves, Joe was there to calm me and prepare me for this milestone. I highly recommend Canadian Driving School for anyone, in fact I've already sent several people his contact information. Support a small business and pass your road test on the first try! Win-win!

After only 10 lessons and a one hour warm-up before my exam, I passed the class 7 N road test on my first try. Thanks to Joe, I passed my road test on my first attempt! I had about six lessons before my road test and each lesson was efficient and useful. I had little to no experience before practicing with Joe but he was extremely patient, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. Joe is a great driving instructor! He genuinely cares about his students and takes the time to help his students build their skills to be safe drivers. I took a few lessons with him and found that he was very understanding, even when I made mistakes during my first few lessons. He gave me good feedback to improve and fix my errors while being super patient. He has good knowledge of the routes ICBC examiners take his students on during their tests. I mostly practiced with him in the area that my test was taken, so I was very familiar with the routes after all my lessons and felt confident during my test. Joe has also taught me easy methods and a few tricks to perfectly reverse and parallel park. He even created and sent me a diagram as a reminder on how to park, so I could review before my driving test. It definitely came in handy. His price is definitely worth the amount of knowledge and skills he helps you build. The package price is also excellent compared to other driving schools I've seen online. With Joe's help, I was able to pass my test without making any mistakes! You should definitely book lessons with him if you are planning on learning how to drive.

I will preface this review by saying that I am a 24-year old that put off driving for years and years from anxiety and fear of driving so I started with ZERO experience. But with Joe as my instructor, I passed my Class 7 on the first try today :) When searching online, I considered many instructors and even a $1000+ driving program. Ultimately, I chose Joe because his straightforward lesson plans were the most reasonably priced in the Vancouver area. I am happy that I did. Joe is a wonderful instructor. When I first messaged him, he replied promptly. I had a lot of questions at first (how many lessons do you think I should take? When do you think I should start taking lessons if my driving test is on XX day? How should I space out my lessons?) and he replied kindly to all of it. The lessons themselves were always very comfortable and Joe is extremely patient. He will go through EVERYTHING you need to know for the test (this includes: left and right turns; changing lanes, scanning and checks; parallel parking and reverse backing in; uphill and downhill parking; pulling over; hazard perception and more). He is very simple and straight to the point with his lessons. Nothing fancy. He isn't an intimidatingly strict instructor either so don't worry! He will give you tips and tricks and reinforce these instructions as you are driving. You will spend the entire 1.5 hours driving and getting your money's worth. He is in it for his students' success, NOT to scam you into paying for more lessons than you need. Each lesson was valuable practice. Joe will take you around the familiar areas near your testing site and be there to constantly give you reminders. He will point out errors and tell you ways to avoid making the same errors so that you are always a safe driver. A LOT of emphasis on being a smart and vigilant driver. Also, he is always on time. He is very accommodating to your availability and will try his best to fit a lesson in for you in his schedule. He wants his students to do well and it shows. January 23, 2021 The Canadian Driving School Reviews Caught My Eye. BEST I SAY! I, did my research on the net to find the best driving school out in the lower mainland for my son as I came upon the reviews of The Canadian Driving School as it showed as 5 stars and the reviews said it all. Spoke with Joe the Instructor back in July 2020 regarding my son. Joe was able to schedule his driving lessons which went on but to Covid-19 as per taking the road test at ICBC the first availability wasn’t until April 2021 but Joe was able to reschedule it 3 months earlier. To date his reviews has always and continuously been 100% positive. Joe is a driving Instructor that gives you the BEST Driving knowledge, BEST Driving skills n BEST Prices of his fees. Joe cares for his students and gives his complete safe driving skills knowledge. My son was very pleased and passed his driving test today and got his N with the support of Joe and using his vehicle.
